Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James (foot) is expected to play in Tuesday's Battle of Los Angeles against the Clippers. He has picked up his customary probable tag ahead of the contest, but James hasn't yet missed any games in 2025 and should remain in the lineup for Tuesday's tilt. With Luka Doncic (calf) not yet healthy enough to join him, James has to carry a massive offensive load. He just produced a hugely impressive 33-point triple-double in Saturday's 128-112 road win against the New York Knicks. James has recorded 10 triple-doubles for the season, including two in his last seven games.
Toronto Raptors forward/center Chris Boucher (illness) is questionable to play in Tuesday's matchup against the New York Knicks. He is battling an illness and may be out for a second time in three games. Boucher's absence would put Kelly Olynyk and Orlando Robinson in a position to earn extra minutes off the bench. Olynyk recently had a three-game run with double-digit points, but he was quiet on Sunday against the Los Angeles Clippers, finishing a 115-108 win with four points, one rebound, and two assists. Robinson has averaged 4.2 points and 3.2 rebounds in 13.8 minutes since joining the team on Jan. 18, so he isn't someone fantasy managers should monitor.
Toronto Raptors guard/forward Bruce Brown (face) has been labeled as questionable for Tuesday's clash against the New York Knicks. Brown was hit in the nose in Sunday's matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers and wasn't feeling well enough on Monday to practice. Ja'Kobe Walter stands to benefit from Brown's absence on Tuesday. The 20-year-old rookie has regained some momentum in recent games, scoring double-digit points in back-to-back outings. However, with Toronto's big guns all healthy, Walter is not someone fantasy managers can count on.
Brooklyn Nets guard/center Ben Simmons (back) will not be in the lineup on Tuesday against the Houston Rockets. As an injury-prone player, Simmons doesn't play in back-to-backs, and the Nets are scheduled to head out again on Wednesday night against the Washington Wizards. Tyrese Martin could break back into the rotation with Simmons unavailable, with Keon Johnson and Ziaire Williams in line for extra usage. Martin has averaged 8.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists for the season.
Brooklyn Nets forward Cameron Johnson (ankle) will remain out on Tuesday against the Houston Rockets. An ankle sprain will keep Johnson sidelined for a sixth consecutive game. However, Johnson's return appears to be close, as he went through most of Monday's practice. Tuesday marks the start of a back-to-back for Brooklyn, so it's possible Johnson will be welcomed back into the lineup on Wednesday against the Washington Wizards. With that said, the trade deadline is approaching, and Johnson may have played his last game as a Net. Since Cam Thomas (hamstring) also remains sidelined, Ziaire Williams and Jalen Wilson have increased offensive responsibilities.
Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Caleb Martin (hip) practiced on Monday and is listed as questionable for Tuesday's clash against the Dallas Mavericks. He has missed nearly a month of action, sitting out 12 games. However, the questionable tag suggests that Martin could be ready to return on Tuesday. If he remains out, Justin Edwards will continue to roll with the starters. The 21-year-old rookie has been one of only a few bright spots for the 76ers during a frustrating campaign, averaging 9.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.3 steals as a first-unit member.
Philadelphia 76ers guard/forward Eric Gordon (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's matchup against the Dallas Mavericks. The veteran sharpshooter might be out for a second consecutive game due to knee soreness. Before getting hurt, Gordon had fought out a starting role for himself. Ricky Council IV stepped in for him on Sunday against the Boston Celtics and put together a strong line with 11 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, and two steals. He will be an option for fantasy managers again on Tuesday if Gordon isn't ready to return.
New Orleans' F Trey Murphy III scored 41 points on 13-of-21 shooting in a 113-125 loss to Denver on Monday, Feb. 3.
Nuggets' C Nikola Jokic recorded a triple-double, finishing with 27 points, 10 assists and 14 rebounds in a 125-113 win over the Pelicans on Monday, Feb. 3.
Houston Rockets' G Amen Thompson recorded a triple-double, finishing with 25 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds in a 118-124 loss to New York on Monday, Feb. 3.
Knicks' G Jalen Brunson recorded a double-double, scoring 42 points with 10 assists in a 124-118 win over the Rockets on Monday, Feb. 3.
Charlotte Hornets' F Miles Bridges recorded a triple-double, finishing with 24 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds in a 114-124 loss to the Wizards on Monday, Feb. 3.
Philadelphia 76ers center Andre Drummond (toe) is questionable for Tuesday's meeting with the Mavericks. The left toe issue has given the veteran a lot of issues over the last month. But the Sixers could use him back on the floor, especially with the team dealing with so many injuries. With Joel Embiid (knee) questionable, Drummond has a chance to see more minutes against Dallas. But if Embiid and Drummond remain on the shelf, Guerschon Yabusele, amassing 49 points and 13 rebounds in the last two games, will presumably remain in the middle. Adem Bona would likely stay involved, although he doesn't do much outside of his contributions on the glass.
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green (calf) will play on Monday against the Orlando Magic. The veteran was battling a left calf strain, keeping him off the floor for the Warriors' last 10 contests. It's not known if he'll see limited minutes in his first game back from a lengthy layoff. But Green's presence will mean Gary Payton II will head back to the bench.
Golden State Warriors guard Buddy Hield (illness) is available for Monday's matchup with the Orlando Magic. The veteran isn't feeling well. Fortunately, the illness won't force him to miss his first game of the 2024-25 campaign. Hield is hard to trust from a fantasy standpoint. But he had 13 points while shooting 3-for-5 from deep in Friday's loss to the Phoenix Suns, so fantasy managers hope he'll keep it going on Monday night. However, Hield could have a tough time getting that done versus an Orlando squad that has allowed 105.4 points per game this season, the second-best average in the NBA.
Dallas Mavericks forward P.J. Washington (knee) is off the injury report heading into Tuesday's game against Philadelphia. The 26-year-old didn't play on Sunday versus the Cavaliers because of a sore knee. As a result, Olivier-Maxence Prosper entered the starting lineup and finished with 10 points, six rebounds, and two steals. But with Washington back in the equation, Prosper can be removed out of fantasy lineups. On the other hand, Washington remains a must-start, especially since Anthony Davis (abdomen) won't make his Mavericks debut on Tuesday.
Dallas Mavericks guard Kyrie Irving (shoulder) is off the injury report ahead of Tuesday's clash with the 76ers. The 32-year-old appeared in eight games leading up to Sunday's loss to the Cavs. However, he wasn't available for that one due to shoulder soreness. The Mavericks' front office made a bold move recently, with the team acquiring Anthony Davis (abdomen) from the Lakers in exchange for Luka Doncic (calf). It's unknown how Davis' presence will impact Irving's production. But with AD out on Tuesday, it will be business as usual for Irving.
Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford (ankle) is off the injury report heading into Tuesday's matchup with the 76ers. The 26-year-old wasn't available for Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers. But with Anthony Davis (abdomen) not ready to make his Mavericks debut, Gafford should be back in the middle on Tuesday night. He has played well in 24 starts during the 2024-25 campaign, averaging 15.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks. It's hard to tell how Davis' arrival will impact Gafford's workload. However, it's reasonable to assume he'll see a dip in minutes and production. For now, he remains worthy of a spot in any fantasy lineup.
Dallas Mavericks center Anthony Davis (abdomen) won't play on Tuesday against Philadelphia. AD suffered an abdominal strain before the blockbuster trade that sent him to the Mavericks and Luka Doncic to the Lakers. While he could be back on the floor at some point soon, his Mavs debut will need to wait. With Daniel Gafford (ankle), who didn't play on Sunday versus the Cavs, off the injury report, he remains a viable starting option for fantasy managers. But Gafford's outlook won't be as favorable once Davis is ready to roll.
Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs (quadriceps) will remain on the shelf for Monday's meeting with the Golden State Warriors. The team downgraded Suggs from questionable to doubtful earlier in the day and has now ruled him out for a fourth consecutive game. Anthony Black will likely continue to fill in for Suggs in the starting lineup. The second-year player has averaged 9.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.1 steals in a starting role this season. Cole Anthony will get more work off the bench and has been prolific recently, sinking five triples to average 19.5 points over the past two games.
