Daniel Gafford Sat Nov 8 10:50am

Dallas Mavericks center Daniel Gafford (right ankle soreness) was ruled out of Friday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies and did not return, according to Marc Stein. The 27-year-old big man lasted just 12 minutes before exiting, marking yet another setback for a Mavs frontcourt already missing Dereck Lively II (knee). Gafford's absence opens the door for Dwight Powell to log extra minutes, though fantasy managers shouldn't expect much upside there. If Gafford misses more time, P.J. Washington could slide up to the small-ball five in certain lineups, offering a short-term boost in rebounds and defensive stats. Gafford had been averaging 9.0 points on 71.4% shooting with 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 19.8 minutes per game this season. Managers should monitor his status closely ahead of Dallas' next matchup against Washington.

Julius Randle Sat Nov 8 1:00am

Minnesota's F Julius Randle recorded a triple-double, finishing with 19 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds in a 137-97 win over the Jazz on Friday, Nov. 7.

Kon Knueppel Sat Nov 8 1:00am

Hornets' F Kon Knueppel scored 30 points on 9-of-23 shooting in a 108-126 loss to Miami on Friday, Nov. 7. Knueppel is owned in only 43.6% leagues.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Sat Nov 8 1:00am

Bucks' F Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded a double-double, scoring 41 points and grabbing 15 rebounds in a 126-110 win over the Bulls on Friday, Nov. 7.

Jeremy Sochan Fri Nov 7 5:50pm

San Antonio Spurs guard/forward Jeremy Sochan (wrist) will be available to play on Friday night when the Spurs host the Rockets. Sochan missed the first six games of the season before making his season debut in 23 minutes off the bench on Wednesday against the Lakers. He chipped in 16 points, two rebounds, and a steal before fouling out. He tied for the second-most points on the team and should stay very involved in the second unit in the Spurs' NBA Cup matchup Friday night. As he ramps up and establishes his role, Julian Champagnie will likely play fewer minutes in the near future.

Kelly Olynyk Fri Nov 7 5:50pm

San Antonio Spurs center/power forward Kelly Olynyk (heel) was questionable for the first half of the team's back-to-back on Friday at home against the Rockets, but he was upgraded to available. In his season debut on Wednesday, he chipped in four points, four rebounds, and three assists across nine minutes. With Luke Kornet (ankle) sidelined again, Olynyk will back up start center Victor Wembanyama on Friday. However, he could end up sitting out Saturday's game against the Pelicans, which would open more time for Bismack Biyombo. Olynyk doesn't seem ready for a ton of playing time just yet, but he is available and starting to find his role in the Spurs frontcourt.

    De'Andre Hunter Fri Nov 7 5:30pm

Cleveland Cavaliers forward De'Andre Hunter (illness) will suit up on Friday versus the Wizards. The 27-year-old wasn't available in Wednesday's win over the Philadelphia 76ers. Fortunately, he was listed as probable throughout the day, so fantasy managers had a good feeling he'd be on the floor against Washington. With Darius Garland back in the mix, Jaylon Tyson will presumably head back to the bench. However, with Lonzo Ball (knee, injury management) and Dean Wade (eye) both out, Tyson should still see meaningful minutes from off the bench.

Steven Adams Fri Nov 7 5:30pm

Houston Rockets center Steven Adams (hip) is available on Friday against the Spurs. He didn't suit up for Wednesday's win over the Memphis Grizzlies. The veteran was listed as questionable for this one because of hip flexor tightness. However, he is good to go. Adams has averaged 6.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, and 1.0 steals this season. While he won't start on Friday night, his fantasy contributions should remain the same from off the bench. Either way, Adams is only worth starting in deeper fantasy formats by those with nowhere else to turn.

Kyshawn George Fri Nov 7 5:20pm

Washington Wizards guard Kyshawn George (illness) won't play versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was riding a questionable tag on Friday because of an illness. Unfortunately, George will officially be sidelined against the Cavs. His next chance to return to action will be for Saturday's meeting with the Dallas Mavericks. However, as far as Friday night is concerned, fantasy managers could see increased production from Justin Champagnie, Cam Whitemore, and Bub Carrington behind Alexandre Sarr.

Luke Kennard Fri Nov 7 5:20pm

Atlanta Hawks guard Luke Kennard (illness) will not play Friday night after being downgraded from questionable to out for Friday's home game against Toronto. Kennard has averaged 25.3 minutes per game off the bench for Atlanta this season, chipping in 8.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.3 three-pointers per game. With Trae Young (knee) out as well, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, Keaton Wallace, and Vit Krejci will have lots of work to do. Alexander-Walker has scored at least 16 points in seven straight games and is taking on more work while Young is out, and since he's so busy, Kennard's work will likely go to Wallace, who missed Sunday's game with an illness but returned with four points, three rebounds, and two assists in 11 minutes on Tuesday. His multi-category potential makes him an intriguing streaming or DFS bargain play with Kennard out.

Luguentz Dort Fri Nov 7 4:50pm

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Luguentz Dort (trapezius) won't play on Friday versus the Sacramento Kings. The 26-year-old suffered a right trap injury in Tuesday's meeting with the Los Angeles Clippers after a collision with Ivica Zubac. He didn't return in that one and would go on to miss Wednesday's loss to the Portland Trail Blazers. Ajay Mitchell ended up getting the start in his place against the Blazers, finishing with 21 points. Mitchell did have five turnovers, something fantasy managers should keep in mind. Still, he has plenty of streaming value. As far as Dort is concerned, his next chance to get back on the court will be on Sunday in Memphis.

Austin Reaves Fri Nov 7 4:40pm

Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves (groin) won't play on Saturday versus the Atlanta Hawks. The 27-year-old has had a phenomenal 2025 campaign thus far, averaging 31.1 points, 9.3 assists, and 1.4 steals. Unfortunately, he'll now miss his third straight game because of a groin injury. Only time will tell if he will be healthy enough to return on Monday night in Charlotte. In the meantime, Luka Doncic should handle even more of the scoring load. Marcus Smart, who had 17 points, five rebounds, five assists, one steal, and one block in Wednesday's win over the San Antonio Spurs, will continue to be worth streaming in all fantasy formats.

Domantas Sabonis Fri Nov 7 4:30pm

Sacramento Kings center Domantas Sabonis (ribs) will miss a second straight game on Friday when the Kings host the Thunder in one of the late games on Friday's jam-packed schedule. Sabonis missed the season opener and was also sidelined on Wednesday against the Warriors, when Drew Eubanks started in his place and had 12 points, six rebounds, and two blocks in 32 minutes. Recently signed Precious Achiuwa played nine minutes off the bench and had four points and three rebounds, while French rookie Maxime Raynaud played a season-high 15 minutes and had six points and three rebounds. Eubanks, Achiuwa, and Raynaud will all get more work against the Thunder's tough interior defense, and Eubanks could be a great value as a DFS or streaming option if you're in search of affordable center production.

    De'Aaron Fox Fri Nov 7 3:10pm

San Antonio Spurs guard De'Aaron Fox (hamstring) will make his season debut on Saturday versus the New Orleans Pelicans, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. The All-Star point guard has yet to suit up due to an offseason hamstring issue. Fox should slide right into the starting lineup, likely pushing Julian Champagnie into a bench role. Stephon Castle will play more off the ball, and his 30% usage rate is bound to take a hit. Fox's return comes at a great time for the Spurs, who recently lost rookie point guard Dylan Harper (calf) for a couple of weeks. It is not clear if Fox will be on a minutes restriction for his first game.

LaMelo Ball Fri Nov 7 1:50pm

Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball (ankle) has been downgraded from questionable to doubtful ahead of their Friday night matchup with the Miami Heat. The star point guard has had a history of ankle issues and will now likely miss a third consecutive game due to another ankle injury. His backcourt mate, Collin Sexton (neck), was also downgraded to doubtful, so that means more opportunities for Tre Mann, Sion James, and Kon Knueppel. So far this season, the rookie Knueppel has been the most consistent, especially from three. If available, he'd be the highest priority streamer since he averages 14.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 3.1 threes per game.

Collin Sexton Fri Nov 7 1:50pm

Charlotte Hornets guard Collin Sexton (neck) went from more likely to play to more likely to watch from the sidelines on Friday. Earlier Friday morning, Sexton was considered probable to play their NBA Cup game against the Miami Heat, but the team's PR department has since announced that he's been downgraded to doubtful. Unfortunately, LaMelo Ball (ankle) was also downgraded from questionable to doubtful. That means Tre Mann is likely moving into the starting five while Kon Knueppel and Sion James will have an even bigger role in the offense. For fantasy managers in deeper leagues, KJ Simpson might even be worth a look for relief minutes in the backcourt. As of right now, Knueppel is the most consistent with averages of 14.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 3.1 threes per game.

Al Horford Fri Nov 7 1:30pm

Golden State Warriors center Al Horford (foot) is dealing with soreness in his left foot and is considered questionable for the team's NBA Cup matchup with the Denver Nuggets. The veteran big man played in their last game against the Sacramento Kings and put up a subpar effort in the scoring department. He finished with 0 points on 0-for-8 shooting overall and 0-for-7 from deep. He did, however, contribute seven boards, two assists, and two steals. If Horford can't give it a go on Friday, Quinten Post would likely see a boost in opportunities off the bench since Draymond Green (rib) is considered probable. Post can be a solid streamer in deeper category leagues for managers that need some threes and rebounds.

Anthony Edwards Fri Nov 7 1:20pm

Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards (hamstring) has been upgraded from questionable to available on the team's official injury report. The superstar wing returned to the court from a hamstring strain on Wednesday night and didn't turn in one of his best performances. He finished with 15 points (5-13 FG), five assists, two rebounds, two steals, and three turnovers in a 114-137 blowout loss. The good thing is that it seems as though there weren't any health setbacks in that game, so he'll be ready to suit up for the team's pursuit of the NBA Cup.

Luke Kennard Fri Nov 7 12:40pm

Atlanta Hawks guard Luke Kennard (illness) is officially listed as questionable for Friday's NBA Cup game against the Toronto Raptors. If Kennard can suit up, he should get around 20-25 minutes again since Trae Young (knee) remains sidelined and the team continues a committee approach in the backcourt. On the other hand, if Kennard has to sit out, Keaton Wallace would likely see a big bump in minutes off of the bench. The last time he played more than 15 minutes, he registered 11 points, seven assists, three rebounds, and one steal against the Indiana Pacers. He's most likely be the best streaming option that's also widely available across all fantasy formats.

Kyshawn George Fri Nov 7 12:20pm

Washington Wizards forward Kyshawn George (illness) popped up on the injury report later Friday morning with some sort of illness. He's officially listed as questionable, which is a bit worrisome since he appeared on the official report so late. The second-year wing has seen a huge step in production so far this season as he averages 16.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.0 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game with shooting splits of .532/.500/.619. If George is unable to play, Bub Carrington and Tre Johnson may both be able to start since Bilal Coulibaly (leg) has been ruled out. Johnson has been the better option as Carrington has struggled mightily to start his sophomore season.
