Victor Wembanyama Thu Mar 12 8:30pm

San Antonio Spurs forward/center Victor Wembanyama (ankle) is out for Thursday's game against the Nuggets after testing the injury during warmups but not feeling ready to play. Luke Kornet and Kelly Olynyk are candidates to absorb the available frontcourt minutes, with Kornet the likely starter. Kornet finished with four points, three rebounds, and two assists in 11 minutes last game and could offer deep-league streaming value for rebounds and blocks if his role expands. Olynyk remains a speculative option after a recent DNP, while De'Aaron Fox and Stephon Castle could see slightly higher usage.

Aaron Gordon Thu Mar 12 8:30pm

Denver Nuggets forward/center Aaron Gordon (hamstring) won't play on Thursday night against the San Antonio Spurs. The veteran put in a 22-minute shift in Wednesday's win over Houston and will rest as Denver wraps up a back-to-back set. Cameron Johnson, Spencer Jones, and Tim Hardaway Jr. are all candidates for more playing time on Thursday. Jones is likely to take Gordon's spot in the starting lineup. However, even as a starter, Jones hasn't put up good enough numbers to be a must-add player for fantasy teams.

Jarrett Allen Thu Mar 12 8:20pm

Cleveland Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen (knee) is out for Friday's game against the Mavericks, marking his fourth straight absence due to right knee tendinitis. Evan Mobley should continue handling increased frontcourt responsibility, while Thomas Bryant and Jaylon Tyson remain the main beneficiaries off the bench. Bryant posted 12 points, one 3-pointer, five rebounds, and one block in 19 minutes last game and remains a deep-league streaming option for rebounds and efficient scoring. Tyson added four points and two assists in 18 minutes. Both Bryant and Tyson remain risky fantasy options due to uncertain roles.

Jamal Murray Thu Mar 12 8:20pm

Denver Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray (ankle) will play on Thursday against the San Antonio Spurs. He was initially listed as probable after a 30-point effort in 31 minutes on Wednesday night against Houston. One of Murray's best performances of the season was in a matchup with the Spurs on Nov. 28, when he scored 37 points. He is averaging 26.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 5.3 assists this month.

    Collin Murray-Boyles Thu Mar 12 8:10pm

Toronto Raptors forward/center Collin Murray-Boyles (thumb) is questionable for Friday's game against the Suns as the rookie works toward a possible return from a six-game absence due to a left thumb sprain. If he remains out, Jakob Poeltl and Sandro Mamukelashvili should continue handling most of the frontcourt minutes. Poeltl produced eight points, five rebounds, and three blocks in 30 minutes last game, while Mamukelashvili added eight points, two 3-pointers, five rebounds, one assist, and one block in 21 minutes. Both remain viable fantasy options if Murray-Boyles sits, though their minutes could dip if he returns.

Scottie Barnes Thu Mar 12 8:00pm

Toronto Raptors guard/forward Scottie Barnes (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against the Suns after missing practice activity while feeling under the weather. If Barnes sits, Brandon Ingram could see a usage bump, while Ja'Kobe Walter and Jamison Battle may pick up extra bench minutes. Walter logged 11 minutes with one rebound, one assist, and one steal last game, while Battle posted three points, one 3-pointer, and one rebound in 10 minutes. Walter and Battle are only deep-league streamers, while Ingram would carry the clearest fantasy boost if Barnes is ruled out.

Cam Spencer Thu Mar 12 7:50pm

Memphis Grizzlies guard Cam Spencer (back) will not play Thursday against the Mavericks due to low back soreness, leaving Memphis short on healthy perimeter depth. Spencer's absence should help secure rotation minutes for Javon Small, Jahmai Mashack, and Rayan Rupert as the Grizzlies continue to patch together their guard rotation. Small posted 12 points, five rebounds, seven assists, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes last game. Rupert delivered 14 points with two 3-pointers and one steal in 22 minutes, while Mashack played 27 minutes. Small remains the preferred fantasy target, while Rupert and Mashack profile as deeper league streamers with unstable roles.

Cedric Coward Thu Mar 12 7:40pm

Memphis Grizzlies guard/forward Cedric Coward (knee) won't play against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night. He is managing a right knee injury and has been ruled out after initially carrying a doubtful tag on the injury report. Memphis will start a back-to-back on Thursday, so there's a good chance Coward will return to the lineup on Friday against the Detroit Pistons. His absence against Dallas creates more playing opportunities for Jahmai Mashack and Rayan Rupert. The latter has put in solid work recently, averaging 13.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in March.

Ty Jerome Thu Mar 12 7:40pm

Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ty Jerome (calf) won't play on Thursday against the Dallas Mavericks. The 28-year-old has been scratched regularly in recent weeks and will sit out Thursday after being initially considered doubtful for the game. The Grizzlies are once again shorthanded for Thursday's matchup, and Javon Small is the only healthy point guard remaining. He figures to have a heavy workload against Dallas. Small has averaged 10.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.4 steals in 25.0 minutes per game this month.

    Kel'el Ware Thu Mar 12 7:30pm

Miami Heat forward/center Kel'el Ware (shoulder) has been cleared to play on Thursday against the Milwaukee Bucks and will start the contest. He will be part of a starting five, which includes Davion Mitchell, Pelle Larsson, Kasparas Jakucionis, and Bam Adebayo. Ware sat out Tuesday's win over Washington with a shoulder issue. Several big guns are unavailable for the Heat on Thursday night, so Ware should play a significant role on offense.

Kevin Porter Jr. Thu Mar 12 7:20pm

Milwaukee Bucks point guard Kevin Porter Jr. (knee) will end a four-game absence on Thursday against the Miami Heat. The team has upgraded Porter Jr. from questionable to available. With him back in the lineup, Ryan Rollins will move to the second unit on Thursday. Since the All-Star break, Porter Jr. has shot 52.1 percent from the field, averaging 18.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 6.4 assists, and 2.4 steals.

Jericho Sims Thu Mar 12 7:20pm

Milwaukee Bucks forward/center Bobby Portis (back) and center Jericho Sims (knee) are ready for action on Thursday against the Miami Heat. Both players were initially regarded as questionable for the game after missing Tuesday's loss to Phoenix. Portis and Sims will boost Milwaukee's frontcourt, with the former being a more appealing fantasy piece. Portis bagged a double-double in his last appearance and is averaging 14.6 points and 4.8 rebounds this month.

Tyler Herro Thu Mar 12 7:10pm

Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro (quadriceps) will not take the floor on Thursday against the Milwaukee Bucks. The team has ruled him out after Herro was listed as questionable on the initial injury report and was considered a game-time decision. Kasparas Jakucionis took Herro's spot in the starting lineup on Tuesday against Washington and appears poised to start again. The 19-year-old rookie has averaged 6.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.9 assists across his first 10 career starts.

Klay Thompson Thu Mar 12 7:10pm

Dallas Mavericks guard/forward Klay Thompson (rest) will miss Thursday's matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies. The 36-year-old veteran forward will sit out tonight's contest to rest. Thompson most recently logged 21 points, one rebound, one assist and two steals during Tuesday's 124-112 loss to the Hawks. His next chance to return to the floor is on Friday versus the Cavs. With Thompson sidelined, fantasy managers can look to 34-year-old sharpshooter Khris Middleton as a potential streaming option as he will likely carry a heavier workload than usual against the Grizzlies.

Jordan Goodwin Thu Mar 12 7:00pm

Phoenix Suns guard Jordan Goodwin (calf) and forward Haywood Highsmith (knee) have been cleared to play on Thursday against the Indiana Pacers. Both players are managing injuries and were initially given questionable tags on the injury report. With Dillon Brooks (hand), Grayson Allen (knee), and Mark Williams (foot) unavailable, the Suns are currently without three big rotational pieces, which creates more playing opportunities for guys like Goodwin and Highsmith.

Obi Toppin Thu Mar 12 6:50pm

Indiana Pacers forward Obi Toppin (foot) will miss Thursday's encounter with the Phoenix Suns. Toppin wasn't on the initial injury report before the team decided to rule him out for the contest with an hour and a half before tip-off. He has made six appearances since recovering from a fractured foot and started in Pascal Siakam's (knee) place on Tuesday against Sacramento. With both Siakam and Toppin out, Kobe Brown could move into the first unit, which would give him more fantasy value.

Grayson Allen Thu Mar 12 6:50pm

Phoenix Suns guard/forward Grayson Allen (knee) has been ruled out for Thursday's matchup with the Indiana Pacers. He was initially considered questionable for the first leg of a back-to-back. Allen is managing a knee injury, so it was always unlikely that he would feature in both games of the back-to-back. The veteran sniper will probably return to the lineup on Friday night against the Toronto Raptors. In the meantime, Jordan Goodwin (calf) and Haywood Highsmith (knee) could have larger roles off the bench.

Andre Drummond Thu Mar 12 6:50pm

According to Ky Carlin of USA Today, Philadelphia 76ers center Andre Drummond (back) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Detroit Pistons. Drummond is dealing with a back issue that will keep him out of action. The Sixers have a very shorthanded frontcourt with Joel Embiid (oblique), Kelly Oubre Jr.(elbow) and Adem Bona (back) also out, so Dominick Barlow and Trendon Watford are in line to see extended minutes in the Motor City this evening.

Marcus Smart Thu Mar 12 6:40pm

According to Daniel Starkand of LakersNation.com, Los Angeles Lakers guard Marcus Smart (hip) is unavailable for Thursday's game against the Chicago Bulls. Smart will be held out of action due to a bruised right hip. The 32-year-old veteran's next opportunity to suit up is on Saturday against the Denver Nuggets. While Smart is out, Luke Kennard will likely take on extra minutes and could be considered a solid streaming option going into tonight's matchup.

Aaron Nesmith Thu Mar 12 6:40pm

Indiana Pacers guard/forward Aaron Nesmith (ankle) will sit out Thursday's game against the Phoenix Suns. After his impressive 29-point outing in Tuesday's loss to Sacramento, Nesmith will be held out of the first leg of a back-to-back for ankle injury management. With Nesmith sidelined, Ben Sheppard, Jalen Slawson, and Ethan Thompson are candidates for increased playing time. We will likely see Nesmith return to action on Friday against the New York Knicks.
