When asked about quarterback C.J. Stroud and a potential long-term contract extension, Houston Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans said, "I'm not getting into that right now." Stroud will most likely have his fifth-year option picked up by Houston, but all bets are off as far as long-term extension talks go after a rough two-game performance in the playoffs this year. The 24-year-old former second overall pick in 2023 out of Ohio State threw an interception and fumbled five times (two lost) in the Wild-Card win over the Pittsburgh Steelers before going 20-for-47 for 212 yards, one touchdown, and a season-high four interceptions in the loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday in the Divisional Round. Stroud burst onto the scene as a rookie in 2023, but since then, he's had two disappointing campaigns that raise questions in Houston about whether he's actually the long-term answer under center.

The Denver Broncos are opening the 21-day practice window for running back J.K. Dobbins (foot), who suffered what was thought to be a season-ending Lisfranc foot injury in Week 10 against the Las Vegas Raiders, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Depending on how he looks and feels in practice this week, Dobbins has a chance to play in Sunday's AFC Championship game against the visiting New England Patriots. It would be great news for a Broncos team that received the devastating news shortly after Saturday's Divisional Round win over the Buffalo Bills that star quarterback Bo Nix is out for the rest of the playoffs with a broken ankle. Still, Dobbins might have a better chance to return if the Broncos pull off the upset over the Pats to reach the Super Bowl. If he does return this weekend, we'd expect a limited role for Dobbins alongside rookie RJ Harvey and Jaleel McLaughlin.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver Rome Odunze (foot) reiterated that he will not need offseason surgery on his foot, according to Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times. Odunze had a stress fracture in his foot that caused him to miss the final five games of the regular season. He returned for Chicago's two playoff games to catch exactly two passes for 44 yards in both contests. The 23-year-old second-year wideout was a popular breakout candidate in fantasy going into the 2025 season, and he was well on his way to fulfilling that with five touchdown catches in the first four games. However, Odunze quickly cooled off and scored only one more time in his final 10 games. His foot injury likely had something to do with that. Odunze will look to bounce back in 2026 with better health, but his fantasy ceiling could be capped with the emergence of young receiver Luther Burden III and tight end Colston Loveland.
From RotoBaller
Updating a previous report, Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet (knee) suffered a torn ACL in his knee in Saturday's Divisional Round win over the San Francisco 49ers, a source told Adam Schefter of ESPN. Charbonnet will require surgery and will not only miss the rest of the playoffs, but he'll most likely miss most of the 2026 season as well, given the timing of his injury. Before tearing his ACL, the 25-year-old third-year back ran the ball five times for 20 yards. Kenneth Walker had 19 carries for a season-high 116 yards and three touchdowns with Charbonnet out. It's a tough ending to Charbonnet's best season in the NFL, as he set career highs across the board during the regular season in carries (184), rushing yards (730), and rushing touchdowns (12). Walker should see a bigger workload the rest of the way in the postseason, with Velus Jones Jr. being elevated to the RB2 role.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald doesn't believe that quarterback Sam Darnold (oblique) suffered a setback with his oblique injury during Saturday's 41-6 blowout win over the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs, according to The Athletic's Michael-Shawn Dugar. "To my knowledge, he's good. Didn't make it worse or anything," Macdonald said. However, Darnold said on Saturday night that his oblique is "something they'll have to keep managing." The 28-year-old went 12-for-17 passing for 124 yards with a touchdown in the win over the Niners after suffering an oblique injury in practice last Thursday. The Seahawks didn't need Darnold to throw the ball much in the rout, but that probably won't be the case this weekend against L.A. Darnold might be on the injury report, but he should be fine to take the field against the Rams next Sunday.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet (knee) suffered a significant knee injury in Saturday's Divisional Round win over the San Francisco 49ers and will require surgery, according to head coach Mike Macdonald. Charbonnet will miss the rest of the playoffs, according to Michael-Shawn Dugar of The Athletic. It's a significant blow to Seattle's offense heading into the NFC Championship game this weekend against the division-rival Los Angeles Rams. The 25-year-old had only five carries for 20 yards on Saturday before the injury, and he finished the regular season with career highs in rushing attempts (184), rushing yards (730), and rushing touchdowns (12) in 16 games played. Charb added 20 catches for 144 yards through the air. Kenneth Walker III should have a bigger role as the RB1 going forward, with Velus Jones Jr. expected to back him up as the RB2.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson said that rookie tight end Colston Loveland (concussion) suffered a concussion in Sunday's Divisional Round overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams, according to Nicholas Moreano of Watch Marquee Sports. Loveland left the game after making an 18-yard reception in the fourth quarter, and he never returned. The 21-year-old finished the game with four catches on a team-high 10 targets for a team-leading 56 yards in the 20-17 defeat. Loveland got off to a slow start in his first NFL season, but he finished as one of the team's top targets. In 16 regular-season games, he hauled in 58 of his 82 targets for 713 yards and six touchdowns to finish as the TE12 in half-PPR points. Loveland added 12 catches for 193 yards in Chicago's two playoff games, and he'll be firmly in TE1 territory in fantasy drafts this fall.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford managed to lead his team to victory, but he did not have his most productive day in the NFC Divisional Round against the Chicago Bears. The 37-year-old completed 20 of 42 pass attempts for 258 yards (6.1 yards per attempt) without a touchdown. He also fumbled twice, although both were recovered by the Rams. Stafford is playing through a sprained right index finger that he suffered in the Wild Card Round, which could be negatively impacting his performance. Still, his team will likely need more from him in the NFC Championship Game against the Seattle Seahawks. Seattle completely dominated San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy in the Divisional Round, holding him to 140 passing yards and holding the 49ers to just six total points. However, Stafford had plenty of success against the Seahawks in the regular season, completing 44 of 77 pass attempts for 587 yards, five touchdowns, and zero interceptions across two meetings between the two NFC West foes. Fantasy managers may be wise to closely monitor reports on Stafford's injured finger heading into the NFC Championship Game.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears tight end Colston Loveland recorded four catches for 56 yards on 10 targets in his team's NFC Divisional Round loss to the Los Angeles Rams. While Loveland did not have his most efficient day against Los Angeles, the 21-year-old had an encouraging postseason overall. Across two playoff games, Loveland hauled in 12 catches for 193 yards on a team-leading 25 targets. His strong playoffs were a continuation of his breakout finish to his strong regular season. Over his final four outings of the year, Loveland recorded 28 receptions for 378 yards and two touchdowns on a whopping 48 targets. Including the playoffs, Loveland totaled 906 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 70 receptions across 18 games as a rookie. The Bears have talented wide receivers locked up for the future as well in Rome Odunze, Luther Burden III, and DJ Moore. However, Loveland may be emerging as the preferred target of Bears quarterback Caleb Williams and profiles as a high-end tight end option for fantasy managers heading into the 2026 season.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams nearly led his team to another improbable comeback win over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC Divisional Round, completing 23 of 42 pass attempts for 257 yards and two touchdowns. However, the 24-year-old also threw three interceptions, including a back-breaking pick in overtime that set the Rams up for a game-winning field goal. Williams took Bears fans and fantasy managers on a rollercoaster ride across his first two postseason games, completing 52.2% of his pass attempts for 618 yards, four touchdowns, and five interceptions. He also provided production with his legs, rushing for 60 yards on eight attempts. Williams' turnover struggles in the playoffs were a bit of a surprise, as he threw just seven interceptions across 17 regular-season games. Overall, the young quarterback still has plenty to work on, but he showed signs of significant growth from year one to year two and should be a sought-after fantasy quarterback in 2026.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams helped power his team to the NFC Championship Game by recording 21 carries for 67 yards and two touchdowns in a win over the Chicago Bears. Williams also hauled in four catches for 30 yards on five targets. Dating back to the regular season, the 25-year-old has now played exactly 63% of the Rams' offensive snaps in three straight games. While Los Angeles continues to utilize running back Blake Corum, Williams has re-emerged as the team's clear lead back. Against Chicago, Williams earned 25 touches, compared to just six for Corum. Across two postseason games this year, Williams has now recorded 172 scrimmage yards and three touchdowns on 40 touches. In the NFC Championship Game, he will face a difficult matchup against the Seattle Seahawks. However, Williams had some success across his two regular-season outings against Seattle, recording a combined 181 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 39 touches.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore posted a strong outing in his final game of the 2025 season, recording five catches for 52 yards and a touchdown on eight targets in his team's NFC Divisional Round loss to the Los Angeles Rams. The 28-year-old was a standout performer across Chicago's two postseason games, hauling in 11 receptions for 116 yards and two touchdowns on 15 targets. However, Moore had his least productive regular season since his rookie year, recording 50 catches for 682 yards and six touchdowns on 85 targets across 17 games. Going forward, the Bears have a trio of young pass-catchers in wide receivers Luther Burden III and Rome Odunze, as well as tight end Colston Loveland, who could push Moore down Chicago's target-share pecking order. Moore's future status with the Bears could be a storyline for fantasy managers to monitor over the course of the offseason.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte was one of the stars of his team's AFC Divisional Round win over the Houston Texans, hauling in three receptions for 75 yards and a touchdown on five targets. The 23-year-old averaged 16.7 yards per reception in the regular season and has continued to be a big-play merchant in the playoffs. Across two postseason contests, Boutte has now recorded seven catches for 141 yards (20.1 yards per reception). In the AFC Championship Game, New England will travel to Denver to take on the Broncos. While Denver fielded a strong overall pass defense during the regular season, they were a unit that was susceptible to explosive plays through the air. The Broncos allowed 10 receptions of 40 or more yards, tied for the fourth-most in the NFL. Boutte should have his chances to provide downfield production for fantasy managers in the AFC Championship.
From RotoBaller
Dynasty | Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker had 116 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a blowout playoff win against San Francisco. Dynasty Analysis: The injuries were just too much for the 49ers to overcome this year as Seattle shredded them all game long. Walker himself benefitted from a knee injury sustained by Zach Charbonnet to take control of the backfield and have his best game of the season. Walker will be an interesting case this off-season as he would be in line to have another monster workload next week if Charbonnet misses time. An impending free agent, Walker may be in the midst of a serious audition. His ultimate dynasty value will rest on where he plays next year.
Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford completed 20 of his 42 passes for 258 yards in a 20-17 overtime win over the Chicago Bears in the Divisional Round. RB Kyren Williams rushed for a team-high 87 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries and added four grabs four 30 yards. RB Blake Corum was held in check, finishing with six carries for 19 yards. WR Puka Nacua and TE Colby Parkinson tied for the team lead with 56 receiving yards. Parkinson caught three passes, and Nacua had five receptions to go along with two carries for six yards. Davante Adams was limited to two catches for 24 yards, and TE Tyler Higbee had just one catch for 27 yards. WR Jordan Whittington finished with two receptions for 35 yards. S Kamren Curl turned in a standout performance, logging a team-high 13 tackles, including seven solo stops, and an interception. LB Nathan Landman finished with 10 tackles, including five solo stops, and CB Cobie Durant had two tackles, three passes defensed and a pair of interceptions.
From TheHuddle
Houston Texans wide receiver Jayden Higgins caught six of his 10 targets for 59 yards during Sunday's Divisional Round loss against the New England Patriots. Higgins took on a larger role with Nico Collins (concussion) sidelined, and it resulted in him leading the team in both catches and receiving yards. The Iowa State product put together a strong rookie campaign, catching 41 passes for 525 yards and six touchdowns through 17 regular-season games. He added another 14 catches and 98 yards in the playoffs. Heading into next year, Higgins will continue to face competition for targets from Nico Collins and Jaylin Noel. Christian Kirk is expected to depart in free agency, but Tank Dell (knee) should take his place on offense and will create additional competition. There are a lot of mouths to feed in Houston, but Higgins will have a chance to emerge as the No. 2 target behind Collins.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs caught four of his six targets for 40 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's Divisional Round win over the Houston Texans. The veteran receiver had a decent revenge game against his old team while helping the Patriots punch their ticket to the AFC Championship. Diggs has a solid 11 targets over his last two games, but his 56 yards during that span are a big step backward from the 282 yards he accrued over the final three weeks of the regular season. Fortunately for Diggs' managers and bettors, he salvaged his performance with the touchdown, delivering double-digit fantasy points (full-PPR) for the third time in his last five games. He'll likely carry a similar touchdown-dependent outlook into next week's matchup against a strong Denver defense. After all, the Broncos allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers during the regular season.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears QB Caleb Williams completed 23 of his 42 passes for 257 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions in a 20-17 overtime loss to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round. He added 40 rushing yards on five carries. RB D'Andre Swift rushed 19 times for 76 yards, and RB Kyle Monangai chipped in 36 rushing yards on 13 carries and caught four passes for 36 yards. TE Colston Loveland caught four passes for a team-high 56 yards, and WR DJ Moore had 52 receiving yards and a touchdown on a team-high five catches. WR Rome Odunze gained 44 receiving yards on two receptions, WR Luther Burden III added three catches for 24 yards, and TE Cole Kmet finished with three grabs for 31 yards and a game-tying touchdown that forced overtime. S Jaquan Brisker led the way on defense with a team-high 14 tackles, including eight solo stops, a sack and two passes defensed. CB Kyler Gordon, DE Montez Sweat and DE Dominique Robinson all recorded a sack in the loss.
From TheHuddle
New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye completed 16 of his 27 pass attempts for 179 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. He also rushed for 10 yards, took five sacks, and lost two fumbles. Maye didn't have the cleanest game by any means, and his three turnovers made life more difficult for the Patriots. Nevertheless, New England fended off the Houston Texans, who had one of their worst offensive performances in a while. Maye played better than his quarterback opponent, C.J. Stroud, and as a result, he'll survive another week. The former No. 3 pick moves on to face the Denver Broncos in the AFC Championship Game next week. It'll be another tough matchup, as Denver allowed the ninth-fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks during the regular season.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for 70 yards on 16 carries during Sunday's Divisional Round win over the Houston Texans. He also caught all four of his targets for an additional 11 receiving yards. Stevenson led the backfield in touches on Sunday, and understandably so. He was far more efficient (4.4 YPC) than teammate TreVeyon Henderson (2.1 YPC) once again. We'll likely see a similar distribution of touches heading into next week's AFC Championship Game against the Denver Broncos. Denver has a strong defense, allowing the fourth-fewest fantasy points to running backs during the regular season. With that being said, Stevenson has shown that he can produce even against strong run defenses. Look no further than Sunday's playoff win over Houston. He should remain a strong option for DFS managers and bettors going forward, especially in formats where his pass-catching role gives him a boost.
