Wavier Wire to Start in two Weeks
Good afternoon everyone,
We will begin our blind bidding on the waiver wire on the 15th of August with the first awards given on the 20th. There will be two more additional blind waiver distributions on the 27th and 3rd. This will take us right up to the beginning of the season.
You will be given 1000 points to bid with for the 3 weeks of preseason bids and you will be given another 1000 that will need to last you the season. (Non of your Preseason bid points carry over to the regular season... it resets!)
Each team will need to be at their in season roster size by the 14th of 25 active players and max of two IR spots. If your team has more than this on the 15th as commissioner I will be dropping your lowest ranked players to make your team in compliance in time for the waiver wire period.
As a reminder, once the season starts there will be free pick ups after the waiver wire has run until the kick off of the first game of that week (then pick ups are locked until waiver runs on Wed.) During the preseason there will ONLY bidding waiver wire pick ups. So plan accordingly.
There are already some juicy rookies that were not drafted and some people have already suffered some injuries or disappointing training camps for others so the bidding should be fun.
Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns,
Commish Carr

Cheers,
Commish Carr

Even in a relatively quiet game by his standards, Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs was still able to record 87 scrimmage yards and a touchdown on 14 touches in Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals. Gibbs logged fewer touches than fellow Lions back David Montgomery for the first time this season, but that could be due to Detroit holding a large lead for most of the game and the fact that Montgomery is a Cincinnati native. Gibbs will now square off against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 6, who have been a below-average rushing defense so far this season. Through five games, Kansas City ranks 24th in rushing touchdowns allowed (six) and 26th in yards per carry allowed (4.8). Gibbs should be heavily featured in the Lions' game plan and profiles as a must-start fantasy running back in Week 6.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) is officially listed as questionable to play this Sunday in a Week 6 matchup against the hosting Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to The Athletic's David Lombardi. Jennings did not play in the Week 5 win over the Los Angeles Rams last Thursday night and didn't practice on Wednesday. However, the 28-year-old was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday, giving him a chance to return this weekend. Meanwhile, fellow wideout Ricky Pearsall (knee) has been ruled out for a second straight game, so if Jennings can get the green light to play, he should as the team's WR1, barring any snap-count restrictions. The caveat is that quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) will miss his fourth game of the year, leaving banged-up backup Mac Jones (knee, oblique) to lead the offense again. Jennings could be a game-day decision, making him a very shaky WR4/flex play for fantasy managers.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back Kimani Vidal enters Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins, sharing the backfield with Hassan Haskins after Omarion Hampton (ankle) was placed on IR this week. Vidal looked like the more explosive option last week, averaging 4.5 yards per carry on four rushes and splitting targets with Haskins. Facing the Miami Dolphins, who rank dead last in average rushing yards allowed, presents a significant opportunity for the backfield. However, OC Greg Roman confirmed a committee approach that limits Vidal's volume. Although he's capable in the passing game, don't assume Vidal is set to handle most pass-catching downs, as he only posted 18 receptions in his final year at Troy. RotoBaller ranks him as RB33. He could be more of a touchdown-dependent high-end RB3/FLEX option this week, and managers should monitor his usage throughout the game.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery logged a season-high 18 carries in Week 5 against the Cincinnati Bengals, finishing with 65 rushing yards and a touchdown. The 28-year-old also tossed the second touchdown pass of his career on a trick play. Heading into a Week 6 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs, Montgomery should be expected to return to the 1B role in the Lions' backfield alongside Jahmyr Gibbs. Kansas City has been surprisingly subpar against the run so far this season, ranking 24th in rushing touchdowns allowed (six) and 26th in yards per carry allowed (4.8). Montgomery's limited touch ceiling while playing next to Gibbs makes him reliant on touchdowns for fantasy production, but he looks like a decent bet to find the end zone against the Chiefs. In Week 6, Montgomery profiles as a low-end fantasy RB2.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) has officially been ruled out for Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, according to David Lombardi of The Athletic. Purdy was unable to practice all week, although he was seen working on side fields with trainers. The 25-year-old will now miss his second straight game (fourth overall this year) after aggravating a turf-toe injury in Week 4. The Niners have been mum on when Purdy might be able to return to the starting role under center, with his next chance at doing so coming in Week 7 versus the Atlanta Falcons. Backup Mac Jones (knee, oblique) is listed as questionable with multiple injuries this weekend, but he's expected to make his fourth start of the year. Jones has been battling a knee injury since early in the year, but despite that, he's managed to play effectively and efficiently with Purdy out. Fantasy managers shouldn't be expecting a second straight 300-yard game from Jones, but he'll be in play as a low-end QB2 streamer in superflex leagues.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers rookie wide receiver Tre' Harris faces the Miami Dolphins this week but remains firmly behind the top three receivers on the depth chart. He recorded zero targets last week and only three catches all season, as his 21.6% route participation rate limits his weekly upside. However, he could be a desperation dart throw if teammate Quentin Johnston (hamstring) is officially ruled out, as the rookie second-rounder might get snaps against a Miami secondary that is vulnerable to deep passes (highest deep ball completion rate allowed). This matchup favors his skill set if he sees playing time, but any production would depend heavily on volume and likely be inefficient. Harris should stay on the bench and is mainly a desperation WR5/Stash option if managers face heavy bye weeks and Johnston is inactive.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff has been a productive player through five weeks this season, recording 1,187 passing yards and 12 touchdowns compared to just two interceptions. However, he may be a quarterback for fantasy managers to move away from in a difficult Week 6 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs have allowed the ninth-fewest passing yards (999) and fourth-fewest number of passing touchdowns (five) in the NFL so far this season. Additionally, Goff could be without starting left tackle Taylor Decker (shoulder), which may limit Detroit's ability to push the ball downfield. In two-quarterback formats, Goff still profiles as a solid QB2, but he may be a player to avoid in Week 6 in single-QB leagues.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) has been ruled out for the second straight week for the team's Week 6 contest this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to The Athletic's David Lombardi. Pearsall last played in Week 4 with a PCL injury that will now keep him out for a second straight week. Quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) will miss his fourth game in six weeks, but the good news for San Fran's offense is that they could be getting wideout Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) back this weekend in Tampa. The next time Pearsall will be able to get back into game action will be in Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons, at which point both Jennings and tight end George Kittle (hamstring) could be back in the fold and taking valuable targets away. With Pearsall missing another game, Kendrick Bourne will be in play as a flex in fantasy again, even if Jennings is active.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers running back Hassan Haskins is now stepping into a primary role after Omarion Hampton (ankle) was placed on IR this week as the team faces the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Haskins, who had an unimpressive five carries for 13 yards last week following Hampton's injury, will share work with Kimani Vidal after OC Greg Roman said it will be "all hands on deck" when asked who the lead back would be. Haskins' advantage comes from his 6-2, 228lb frame and familiarity with Jim Harbaugh's system from their time together at Michigan. While his 3.0 career yards per carry is underwhelming, the Miami Dolphins are dead last against the run, giving up over 200 rushing yards to Carolina Panthers backup Rico Dowdle last week. Despite the favorable matchup, the split workload and a more explosive Vidal should temper volume expectations. RotoBaller projects Haskins as RB30. He's a mid-range RB3/FLEX option based on potential goal-line usage and favorable matchup, but managers shouldn't expect a workhorse role.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen enters Week 6 as a clear high-floor option, leading the team with five catches on nine targets last week. The veteran faces a favorable matchup against the Miami Dolphins' secondary, which has allowed the ninth-most PPR points per target to perimeter wide receivers, a key area for Allen given his 23.1% target share. Allen is a high-volume receiver who often helps Justin Herbert by making difficult catches in crucial situations. If fellow wide receiver Quentin Johnston (hamstring) is limited or inactive, Allen's already high target share should only grow. RotoBaller ranks Allen as WR20 this week. He is a reliable low-end WR2 and should be started with confidence, especially in PPR formats.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (shoulder) was limited in practice all week and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the visiting Los Angeles Rams in Week 6, according to Brian Wacker of The Baltimore Sun. While it's possible that Flowers could end up suiting up this weekend against the Rams, the 25-year-old's weekly fantasy appeal has already taken a hit now that we know quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring) will miss a second straight game. With backup QB Cooper Rush running the offense again on Sunday, Flowers and the rest of Baltimore's offensive skill players will not be as reliable in starting fantasy lineups. Flowers had a decent game in last week's loss to the Houston Texans, catching all five of his targets for 72 yards. However, his fantasy ceiling and floor will be lowered in Week 6 if he's active. If the Ravens give Flowers a rest before their bye next week, DeAndre Hopkins and Rashod Bateman would be the team's top two pass-catchers.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver KaVontae Turpin (foot) has been ruled out for a second straight game in Week 6 against the hosting Carolina Panthers on Sunday after he was unable to practice all week, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic. Turpin suffered a foot injury in the Week 4 tie with the Green Bay Packers and will now miss his second straight game. The 29-year-old's next chance to return to action will be in Week 7 against the division-rival Washington Commanders. With both Turpin and CeeDee Lamb (ankle) missing another game, George Pickens should once again dominate pass-game targets, with Ryan Flournoy and Jalen Tolbert serving as secondary options. Tight end Jake Ferguson has been quarterback Dak Prescott's No. 2 weapon in the two weeks that Lamb has been unavailable. At best, Turpin is the team's WR3/kick returner when healthy.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey is set for a strong performance against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday after scoring his first touchdown last week. While the Dolphins' secondary is the defense's strongest unit, they are middle of the pack overall and especially vulnerable to slot receivers, giving up the fifth-most PPR points per target and the second-highest passer rating to that position (McConkey runs 61.6% of routes from the slot). With fellow wide receiver Quentin Johnston (hamstring) limited in practice and questionable for Sunday, McConkey could see a noticeable target increase from Justin Herbert. His recent red-zone usage is a positive sign. RotoBaller keeps him at WR21 this week. He should be considered a strong WR3 with clear WR2 upside if Johnston remains limited or is ruled out.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys running back Miles Sanders (ankle, knee) has been moved to season-ending injured reserve, according to Patrick Walker of the Dallas Cowboys. Sanders was limited in practice on Wednesday before missing Thursday's practice, but now his season is over as he deals with multiple injuries to his ankle and knee. The 28-year-old served as the primary backup running back to Javonte Williams over the first four games of the season before missing Week 5. Rookie Jaydon Blue was active in his place and should step into a larger role now with Sanders out. Blue shouldn't be in lineups for Week 6, but he is an interesting speculative pickup ahead of Sunday's game against the Panthers.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (ankle) has officially been ruled out for the Week 6 game this Sunday against the Carolina Panthers after missing practice all week, according to Jon Machota of The Athletic. This will be the third straight game that Lamb misses after he suffered a high-ankle sprain in the Week 3 loss to the Chicago Bears. In addition to Lamb, KaVontae Turpin (foot) will miss a second straight game, leaving Dallas' receiving corps thin for another week. Lamb will need to get back on the practice field next week if he wants to have any chance of returning for a Week 7 divisional game versus the Washington Commanders. In the meantime, he needs to be firmly stashed in all fantasy leagues. George Pickens and tight end Jake Ferguson could both be in line for big days again this weekend with both Lamb and Turpin sidelined. Ryan Flournoy and Jalen Tolbert will battle for WR2 targets behind Pickens.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Bowers is set to miss his second consecutive game while nursing a PCL/ bone bruise in his knee that he suffered back in Week 1 at New England. Head coach Pete Carroll emphasized the importance of "taking care of him" to ensure that when he returns, there are no setbacks. It was clear that Bowers was not right on the field, and his numbers reflected it, failing to exceed 50 yards in the three games following his 103-yard performance in Week 1. Third-year tight end Michael Mayer (head) is expected to return in Week 6 against Tennessee and could be relied on as a streamer at tight end for fantasy managers without Bowers.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) did not practice again on Friday after also missing Thursday's practice. The Commanders did not officially practice on Friday, and the DNP tag for McLaurin is an estimate, but it is still not a good sign for his chances of suiting up on Monday night against the Bears. McLaurin was seen stretching with the team on Thursday during the part of practice that is open to the media, but ultimately worked on a side field with trainers as he continues to rehab. The reports would likely signal McLaurin missing his third straight game after initially injuring his quad in Washington's Week 3 win over the Raiders. Deebo Samuel Sr. will likely be the focal point of the passing attack again for Washington in Week 6, while rookie Jaylin Lane and second-year player Luke McCaffrey will have more opportunities.
From RotoBaller
It's been a slow climb for Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden to find fantasy relevance this season, but after the Packers' Week 5 bye, we could finally get some tangible results for Golden. The Packers host the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6, and Golden is coming off his best week yet, with a season-high six targets, plus five receptions for 58 yards against the Cowboys in Week 4. Not only did he have his most productive week yet, but Golden is also starting to see the field regularly, with route shares of 82 percent and 72 percent in his last two games. In addition, Golden's first-read target shares have increased substantially, with just three first-read targets in the first two weeks of the season, but ramped up to nine in the last two contests. With the Packers seemingly building to a crescendo with Golden's week-by-week improvement, he's a big-time upside flex play for fantasy managers in Week 6.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs is coming off by far his best game of the season in Week 4, with an awesome three-touchdown performance against the Dallas Cowboys. Doubs looks to keep that momentum going post-bye in Week 6 as the Packers host the Cincinnati Bengals. Week 4's final stat line against the Cowboys, aside from the touchdowns, was Doubs catching 6-of-8 targets for 58 yards. On the season, Doubs is tied with tight end Tucker Kraft with 19 targets and is second to Kraft in receptions and yards. Despite the raw totals, Doubs is averaging less than five targets, just over three receptions, and 45 yards in per-game statistics. With bye weeks here for fantasy, Doubs is a little bit of a reach for fantasy lineups, but in a good matchup against the Bengals in Week 6, Doubs is merely a low-end flex option for fantasy managers.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks has a strong on-field role with the Packers, but he's a risky start this week despite a great matchup at home in Lambeau Field against the Cincinnati Bengals. In Week 4, Wicks ran a season-high 79 percent of routes per dropback and earned 77 percent of the team's snaps in Green Bay's 40-40 tie with the Dallas Cowboys. However, that didn't amount to much production as Wicks was targeted just four times and caught two passes for 19 yards on the evening. While we'd love for Wicks to be more involved on the production side of things, the lack of concentration in the Packers' passing game doesn't help the secondary pass-catchers get consistent volume. Leave Wicks either on your bench or on waivers when the Packers play the Bengals in Week 6.
