Wavier Wire to Start in two Weeks
Good afternoon everyone,
We will begin our blind bidding on the waiver wire on the 15th of August with the first awards given on the 20th. There will be two more additional blind waiver distributions on the 27th and 3rd. This will take us right up to the beginning of the season.
You will be given 1000 points to bid with for the 3 weeks of preseason bids and you will be given another 1000 that will need to last you the season. (Non of your Preseason bid points carry over to the regular season... it resets!)
Each team will need to be at their in season roster size by the 14th of 25 active players and max of two IR spots. If your team has more than this on the 15th as commissioner I will be dropping your lowest ranked players to make your team in compliance in time for the waiver wire period.
As a reminder, once the season starts there will be free pick ups after the waiver wire has run until the kick off of the first game of that week (then pick ups are locked until waiver runs on Wed.) During the preseason there will ONLY bidding waiver wire pick ups. So plan accordingly.
There are already some juicy rookies that were not drafted and some people have already suffered some injuries or disappointing training camps for others so the bidding should be fun.
Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns,
Commish Carr
Wavier Wire Soon!
Hey everybody... with August at our doorstep and training camp well on their way. We will start our first pre-season wavier wire soon. In the next day or so I will post more about this. I will explain the process and dates and such then. Just wanted to give you a heads up!
Cheers,
Commish Carr

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Washington Commanders are actively "shopping" running back Brian Robinson Jr. He is entering the final year of his contract after spending his first three seasons with the Commanders. The 26-year-old has played well during his time in Washington, amassing 2,329 yards off 570 carries in 41 regular-season contests. He also caught 65 passes and totaled 20 touchdowns in that span. It's unknown how serious the team will be about a potential deal. It's also not known how many clubs around the National Football League will be interested in his services. However, Robinson's fantasy ceiling may be at its highest in Washington, where he currently sits atop the depth chart. If he ends up getting traded, Austin Ekeler should see a bump in attention from fantasy managers. That would also apply to rookie Jacory Croskey-Merritt, who could have a clearer path to more touches moving ahead.

The Saints' quarterback battle is still wide open, and Spencer Rattler is doing everything he can to convince the organization that he should be the Week 1 starter. Rattler went 18-of-24 for 199 yards, one touchdown, and one interception, while adding three carries for 19 yards in Sunday's 17-17 tie against the Jaguars. He led an impressive 9-play, 82-yard drive with 2:39 remaining, highlighted by completions of 16 and 26 yards to second-year UDFA Mason Tipton, and capped it off with a 20-yard touchdown pass to Dante Pettis. He then ran in the two-point conversion himself to tie the game. Rattler put together multiple strong drives, including a 45-yard connection with Tipton to open the third quarter that set up a Saints field goal. However, he still showed room for improvement, notably throwing a red-zone interception with 4:42 left in the fourth quarter. The battle for the Week 1 starting job remains wide open, but Rattler is mainly an option in superflex leagues if he becomes the starter.

New Orleans Saints running back Kendre Miller started the first half of the Saints' second preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Miller finished with six carries for 21 yards in Sunday's 17-17 tie. He has logged exactly six carries each in the team's two preseason contests as he looks to establish himself as Alvin Kamara's backup following two injury-plagued seasons. With Cam Akers and Clyde Edwards-Helaire turning in underwhelming performances again this week and Devin Neal (hamstring) sidelined by a hamstring injury, the backup job appears to be Miller's to lose. He's worth holding as a handcuff to Kamara in deeper fantasy leagues.
From RotoBaller
New Oreland Saints wide receiver Chris Olave suited up for the Saints' second preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He recorded two receptions for 12 yards on four targets while playing alongside rookie quarterback Tyler Shough in Sunday's 17-17 tie. As expected, his chemistry with the rookie quarterback appeared a bit off. However, it was a positive sign for New Orleans to see their star receiver back on the field for the first time since Week 9 of 2024. Injuries have impacted all three of his seasons in the league, including eight missed games last year after landing on IR due to a concussion. Questionable quarterback play and injury risk continue to affect his fantasy value, and he is currently ranked as WR34 in PPR formats by RotoBaller.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Mason Tipton continues to impress in the preseason, recording six receptions for 100 yards in Sunday's 17-17 tie against the Jaguars, including a 45-yard reception downfield on a great ball from second-year quarterback Spencer Rattler. Tipton's speed also drew a 45-yard pass interference penalty, setting up a Saints field goal to start the third quarter. He has shown that his quickness could play a key role for New Orleans this season, as he also caught a 54-yard touchdown in the first preseason game against the Chargers off a pass from Tyler Shough. With veterans Brandin Cooks, Cedrick Wilson Jr., and Dante Pettis on the roster, it remains to be seen how significant Tipton's role will be behind solidified starters Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed. Still, heis a player to monitor if his usage expands in the regular season.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback Tyler Shough started the first half of Sunday's preseason 17-17 tie against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He went 9-of-12 for 66 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions. The offense struggled to get going early, managing just three points across four drives with Shough under center, including two three-and-outs. Once expected to be the frontrunner for the Saints' Week 1 starting job, his inability to consistently move the ball, even with starting receivers Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed on the field, combined with Spencer Rattler's solid performance, suggests momentum may be shifting against him. Shough remains a player to monitor, but he should stay off fantasy radars outside superflex or dynasty leagues.

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Tory Horton (ankle) did not participate in practice on Sunday. This doesn't come as a surprise after Horton suffered an ankle injury during the second preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Friday. The injury isn't considered serious, but the Seahawks are taking a cautious approach right now. The rookie wideout is currently competing with Marquez Valdes-Scantling for the third wideout spot in Seattle. A lengthy absence would certainly hurt Horton's chances of earning the role. Fantasy managers will have to check back throughout the week for more updates on his status.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (foot) was looking good on the practice field on Sunday. Walker was able to practice in full, after dealing with foot soreness. The Seahawks have been careful with Walker early in camp because of his foot issue. Despite that, head coach Mike Macdonald said the plan is for Walker to be a full-go for Thursday's joint practice with the Green Bay Packers. This foot issue hopefully won't be something that lingers into the regular season. Fantasy managers should check back throughout the week for more updates on his status.

The Philadelphia Eagles have traded tight end Harrison Bryant to the Houston Texans on Sunday. Bryant and a 2026 fifth-round pick will head to Houston in exchange for wide receiver John Metchie III and a 2026 sixth-round pick. This seems like a good move for Houston to add another tight end to the mix. Dalton Schultz is going to be the No. 1 option, but the backup job is wide open right now. Bryant spent the first four seasons of his career with the Cleveland Browns. His best season came in 2022 when he hauled in 31 receptions for 239 yards and one touchdown in 17 games. He finished with only nine receptions through 13 games with the Las Vegas Raiders last season. The 27-year-old figures to be depth for Houston, so there probably won't be weekly fantasy value here.

Dynasty | Colts rookie running back DJ Giddens led the team with 28 rushing yards in their second preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: Giddens is a hot sleeper in dynasty circles but he's battling the likes of Tyler Goodson and Khalil Herbert for the right to back up Jonathan Taylor. Neither Goodson or Herbert likely have the ultimate upside of Giddens, so this is clearly a story to keep watching. Should Giddens earn the right to be the RB2 for the Colts, he'd be one injury away from real relevance in dynasty leagues.
Dynasty | Browns rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel completed 13-of-18 passes for 143 yards with no touchdowns, one interception and a lost fumble in Cleveland's second preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: Gabriel was making his preseason debut and is clearly in a fight to hold off Shedeur Sanders on the depth chart. His performance was really up and down on the night and the interception was of the "pick six" variety. While he did make some good plays, Gabriel certainly didn't do anything to secure a spot on the depth chart over Sanders. In the end, the Browns have four quarterbacks and are going to need to make some moves soon. It's likely Joe Flacco is the starter but any of Kenny Pickett, Sanders, or Gabriel could end up on the trade block for a quarterback-needy team.
Dynasty | Patriots rookie running back TreVeyon Henderson rushed for 20 yards and touchdown in New England's second preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: He did his damage on just four carries. Dynasty managers really don't need to see any more from Henderson, whose explosiveness clearly carries over to the NFL level. With Quinshon Judkins falling behind in Cleveland, Henderson has taken over as the RB3 in the rookie class behind Ashton Jeanty and Omarion Hampton. He may actually represent a rookie bargain in the middle of round one at this point.
Dynasty | Texans rookie running back Woody Marks had 40 rushing yards in Houston's second preseason contest. Dynasty Analysis: Marks is seemingly battling veteran Nick Chubb to be the backup to a currently banged up Joe Mixon. With Mixon far from a guarantee to be ready for opening day, this is a competition that matters. The former USC Trojan has been solid but not exactly spectacular in camp, so this was a nice step forward. He remains a solid dynasty rookie draft pick as a capable runner who is on the depth chart with veteran runners on the back-end of their careers.
Dynasty | Texans running back Nick Chubb had 25 rushing yards on five carries in Houston's second preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: Reports on Chubb's explosiveness in camp have been pretty underwhelming, so this was a welcome sight. While seemingly no longer the runner he once was, Chubb has an opportunity to carve out a meaningful role in Houston, especially if Joe Mixon continues to struggle in his attempt to return from injury. Should Mixon miss time, it seems Chubb would likely split time with rookie Woody Marks. Chubb's dynasty arrow is clearly pointing down, but it was good to see some signs of life this week as he attempts to return from another serious injury.
Dynasty | Lions rookie wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa had four catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in Detroit's second preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: TeSlaa now has eight catches for 105 yards and two touchdowns after just two preseason contests. While many threw shade at the Lions for "overdrafting" TeSlaa, it's clear they may have simply seen something other teams didn't. While preseason games mean very little, TeSlaa looks like a player who could carve out a role this season and remains a pretty solid mid-round rookie draft pick.
Dynasty | Dolphins rookie running back Ollie Gordon had 50 rushing yards in Miami's second preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: Gordon caught a break when Alexander Mattison was lost for the season, making his chance of securing a roster spot a lot higher. He seems to be third on the depth chart behind De'Von Achane and Jaylen Wright but likely ahead of Mike Boone at the moment. Once a highly sought after devy prospect and dynasty target, Gordon had a terrible season at Oklahoma State, dropping his dynasty value like a rock. He's strung together some solid performances, so he needs to stay on dynasty watch lists for the moment.
Dynasty | Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty had 33 rushing yards and a touchdown in his second preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: He added one catch for two yards. Jeanty did his damage early on just seven carries and clearly looked like the player most thought he'd be when he came out of college this Spring. After a lackluster opener, any concern over Jeanty's skill was likely put to rest after this one. He remains a top-ten overall dynasty prospect and the overall 1.01 in rookie drafts.
Dynasty | Steelers rookie running back Kaleb Johnson rushed for 50 yards in Pittsburgh's second preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: Johnson added nine yards on a lone catch. So far, so good for Johnson, who looks to be in line to split time with Jaylen Warren this season for Pittsburgh. While it would be great to see him with a role as a full-time starter, Johnson has enough juice to make an impact without 20 carries a game. He's settled in nicely as a back-end first round rookie pick and should provide solid value as early as this season.
Dynasty | Bucs wide recevier Emeka Egbuka had one catch for five yards and a touchdown in Tampa Bay's second preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: Egbuka had a quick night and simply continues to make plays. While some were ultimately disappointed in his landing spot, it's proven to be no problem for Egbuka this off-season. He's poised to have an early season role for Tampa Bay and while he may not really break out until Chris Godwin or Mike Evans are done with the Bucs, he remains a great mid-first round rookie pick as a rookie who seemingly has an unbelievably high floor.
Dynasty | Steelers wide receiver Roman Wilson caught two passes for 72 yards in Pittsburgh's second preseason game. Dynasty Analysis: Wilson had a lost season in 2024 but looks like a player ready to take a leap this season. While DK Metcalf will undoubtedly soak up most of the targets this season, Wilson is competing with Calvin Austin, Robert Woods, Pat Freiermuth, Jonnu Smith and a whole host of others to be next in line. The "buy low" window for Wilson may be closing here very soon in dynasty leagues.
