On a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team hampered by injuries at wide receiver, veteran Sterling Shepard has seen a rapid increase in fantasy value as his team prepares to play San Francisco in Week 6. Chris Godwin (leg) and Mike Evans (hamstring) already have been ruled out for the game, slotting in Shepard as the team's likely second receiver behind Emeka Egbuka. Shepard has seen at least four targets in every game this season and scored his first touchdown of the year last week. The Niners are mid-tier against fantasy receivers, but Shepard should receive enough volume to be considered a flex option, especially in deeper leagues.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting that Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee) is expected to play when his team takes on the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The corner was listed as questionable on the final injury report. The Cowboys are also likely to have DaRon Bland (shoulder), who was also listed as questionable on the injury report, giving Dallas its top two corners against Carolina. Dallas is allowing 7.5 net yards per attempt this season, which ranks dead last in the NFL.

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) could return in Week 7, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Already ruled out for Week 6, Purdy will have missed four of six games going into next week. Mac Jones (oblique) is expected to play on Sunday, which should provide stability for a 49ers team that ranks second in the league in passing yards. The Dallas Cowboys are likely to have cornerback DaRon Bland (shoulder) active when they take on the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Bland was limited in practice all week. The fourth-year corner missed a pair of games this season with a foot injury and is listed as questionable for Sunday, though it appears he will play. Rapoport also reported that Dallas is likely to have fellow corner Trevon Diggs (knee), giving the Cowboys another option to match against Carolina rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan.

Jennings has been in and out of the lineup this season while battling through an ankle injury and other secondary injuries, but he's projected to gut it out in Week 6 against the hosting Buccaneers. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston (hamstring) is trending toward being inactive for Sunday's road meeting with the Miami Dolphins. Johnston picked up a hamstring injury that limited him at practice leading up to Sunday's outing, leaving him with a questionable tag. However, it appears he won't be healthy enough to suit up against the hosting Dolphins. Ertz has been a reliable target over the middle for quarterback Jayden Daniels, but the two did not connect on just one target in Week 5. He'll look to get back on track Monday night against a Bears defense that has allowed nearly 30 points per game through four weeks. And Ertz could see an increase in targets if star receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) is unable to play. Ertz remains a low-end TE1 for Monday night.

Lane has seen more time on offense with top wide receivers Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (quad, knee), both dealing with mult-game absences. Lane caught only one ball in Washington's Week 5 win over the Chargers, but it came on a crucial 3rd and 16 deep in their own territory in the second quarter that helped sustain the drive and lead to their first touchdown of the game. Samuel looks like a true game-time decision, which is a frustrating situation on Monday night. The signal-caller has been a reliable fantasy quarterback (at times) over the years. While Brissett potentially has a tough matchup on tap against a capable Colts' defense, the potential for Murray to be sidelined for more than a game makes him worth adding to fantasy rosters, mostly by those participating in deeper Superflex formats.

While he had five catches (eight targets) for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Week 4 loss to the New England Patriots, he has been nearly irrelevant from a production standpoint. Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) is listed as questionable heading into the Week 6 meeting with the Dallas Cowboys, so there's a chance he won't be out there once again. Sure, the potential for added involvement should increase Tremble's fantasy potential. Still, even if Sanders remains sidelined, fantasy managers will be taking a gamble by rolling with the 25-year-old as their starting tight end for the favorable matchup with the Cowboys. especially with Xavier Legette in the mix.

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Hunter Renfrow had seven catches for 48 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 2 loss to the Cardinals. However, outside of that performance, he hasn't done much, most recently catching one pass for seven yards in the Week 5 win over the Dolphins. Xavier Legette found the end zone in that one, so his stock is higher heading into the Week 6 meeting with the Dallas Cowboys, especially with Jalen Coker (quadriceps) unable to make his professional debut. He's logged 305 offensive snaps through the first five weeks of the 2025 campaign, with Hunter Renfrow sitting behind him with 192. Unfortunately, that hasn't necessarily translated into consistent production from the rookie. McMillan currently has 24 catches (43 targets) for 351 yards. However, he still hasn't scored a touchdown. With that said, the Panthers may continue to rely mostly on Rico Dowdle against Dallas, his former team, in Week 6. Although McMillan is the favorite to see the most attention from Bryce Young on the receiving end versus a week Cowboys defense, fantasy managers will be taking a gamble by having him in their lineups. Still, the wideout has been a top-30 fantasy producer in standard and PPR formats, so he deserves starting consideration.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has shown signs of growth in his third season in the National Football League. While he hasn't been consistent, he's still had some favorable outings for fantasy managers. The signal-caller most recently threw for 198 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception off 19-for-30 passing in the Week 5 win over the Miami Dolphins. Although things could have gone better in that one, it's safe to say Young could have played much worse based on his volatile track record. Truth be told, he at least did enough to keep his team competitive in Week 5, with Rico Dowdle handling the rest by amassing 206 yards and one touchdown on the ground. With that in mind, Young has work to do before earning the trust of fantasy managers. However, with injuries at the quarterback position and a few teams getting the week off, the 24-year-old can realistically occupy a spot in Superflex lineups versus a weak Cowboys defense, assuming managers are comfortable taking a gamble.
