Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 29 of 41 pass attempts for 375 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions during Sunday's Week 4 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Heading into the Sunday night window with just three games left to be played, he leads all quarterbacks this week in passing yards and fantasy points. The big game was enough to remind fantasy managers that he's a viable option for your starting lineups despite his lack of rushing upside. He picked apart a Colts defense that had been very good entering Week 4, and he should continue to find success heading into a divisional battle against the San Francisco 49ers, who recently lost Nick Bosa (knee) for the year. Stafford is a fringe top-12 fantasy quarterback going forward.
From RotoBaller
Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen completed 16-of-22 passes for 209 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints, and he ran seven times for 45 yards and a score.
Fantasy Spin: Allen is just shy of 1,000 passing yards through four games, and he has two or more touchdown passes in three of his starts. He hasn't put up eye-popping or MVP-type numbers, turning in just a single 300-yard passing performance, but the rushing yards and scores are what make him special, and a must-start fantasy option. The Bills host the New England Patriots on Sunday night in Week 5.
From TheHuddle
New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye completed 14 of 17 pass attempts for 203 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions during Sunday's Week 4 blowout win over the Carolina Panthers. He also rushed for 11 yards and another touchdown on the ground. The 23-year-old has quietly produced one of the strongest starts to the season among all NFL quarterbacks, racking up nine touchdowns, 98 rushing yards, and just two interceptions. He ranks as the overall QB4 in fantasy points through four weeks, trailing only Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, and Patrick Mahomes II. That's an elite class of quarterbacks, so Maye's presence among such a talented group is a testament to the strong four weeks he's had. He has entered must-start territory as a mid-range QB1 entering next week's game against the Buffalo Bills.
From RotoBaller
Buffalo Bills CB Tre'Davious White was good for a team-best seven solo stops with one tackle for loss in Week 4 against the New Orleans Saints.
From TheHuddle
Indianapolis Colts running back Tyler Goodson (groin) exited Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Los Angeles Rams and was unable to return. He finished the game with just one touch -- a zero-yard reception -- and did not have any returns on special teams. Firmly entrenched as the No. 3 running back in Indianapolis, Goodson has no fantasy appeal as long as Jonathan Taylor is healthy. If he misses any time, Ameer Abdullah would likely step up as the No. 3 running back behind Taylor and D.J. Giddens.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints WR Brandin Cooks finished with three receptions for 22 yards on four targets in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills. He appeared to have a second-half touchdown, but it was overturned by instant replay.
Fantasy Spin: Cooks has exactly three receptions in three of his four outings, but he also has 26 or fewer yards in all four games. Spotty quarterback play in New Orleans is limiting the fantasy appeal of the journeyman Cooks. At best, he is a WR4 in PPR fantasy formats, with lesser appeal in standard play. The Saints host the New York Giants in Week 5.
From TheHuddle
Baltimore Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring) and cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf) have been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. Smith exited during the first half and was initially listed as questionable to return before being downgraded to out. At the time of his departure, he had registered two tackles. Humphrey also picked up his injury in the first half, amassing five tackles before he exited. Both veterans are key members of the Baltimore defense, so their absence will be felt as the clock approaches triple zeroes in Ravens vs. Chiefs.
From RotoBaller
Dallas Cowboys running back Jaydon Blue (coach's decision) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Green Bay Packers. There was plenty of speculation during the offseason that Blue, a rookie, could ascend into the starting running back role in Dallas. Instead, he has been a healthy scratch for all four games and has not yet made his NFL debut. Javonte Williams has played quite well in his change-of-pace role, while Miles Sanders offers a solid veteran presence and change of pace. Blue should be stashed on your bench or taxi squad in dynasty leagues, but he can be dropped to waivers in redraft formats.
From RotoBaller
New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed 15 times for a team-best 70 yards in Week 4 against the Buffalo Bills, while adding four receptions for two yards on five targets.
Fantasy Spin: Kamara hasn't scored since Week 1, but he has at least 70 totals scrimmage yardage in two of the past three outings. It's tough to be a good running back on a bad team. He remains a pretty solid low-end RB2 in all fantasy, especially in PPR leagues. He has four or more receptions in two of the past three games.
From TheHuddle
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring) is currently questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. Jackson exited the contest late in the third quarter due to a hamstring issue. Cooper Rush has replaced him on the field to begin the final quarter of play. Given the current score, the Ravens are likely going to take the cautious approach and hold Jackson out for the final quarter. If he doesn't return, Jackson will finish his day with 147 passing yards, a touchdown, and interception. He also rushed the ball six times for an additional 48 yards on the ground. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update on Jackson. If he misses time, Rush figures to start under center for the Week 5 game against the Houston Texans.
From RotoBaller
Updating previous reports, Baltimore Ravens LB Roquan Smith (hamstring) and CB Marlon Humphrey (calf) have been ruled out of the Week 4 game because of their injuries.
From TheHuddle
Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury during the Week 4 game and is considered questionable to return.
Fantasy Spin: Fantasy players will need to monitor the situation to see if Jackson will miss any additional time because of the injury. Cooper Rush will be the starter if Jackson misses games and can be a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) is questionable to return to Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Jacksonville Jaguars. After hauling in a pass in the third quarter, Pearsall exited to the sideline with a right knee injury. It's worth noting that Pearsall came into this game with a nagging knee injury. Possibly, the second-year wideout aggravated it. Before exiting, Pearsall hauled in four of his five targets for 46 yards. The absence of Pearsall should mean increased roles for Jauan Jennings, Kendrick Bourne, and Jake Tonges.
From RotoBaller
Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter (shoulder) appears to have picked up an injury during Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Carter reportedly aggravated his shoulder injury during Sunday's victory. He did briefly exit the game in the fourth quarter, but he finished out the contest. The assumption is that Carter will undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury. For now, Carter should be considered day-to-day until the Eagles give more information. He didn't do much in this game as he finished Sunday's win with one solo tackle. Bryon Young and Za'Darius Smith would be in line for a heavier workload if Carter misses time.
From RotoBaller
Baltimore Ravens CB Marlon Humphrey (calf) left the Week 4 game against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a calf injury. He is questionable to return.
From TheHuddle
Baltimore Ravens LB Roquan Smith (hamstring) left the Week 4 game against the Kansas City Chiefs due to a hamstring injury. He is considered questionable to return.
From TheHuddle
Jacksonville Jaguars S Eric Murray (neck) left the Week 4 game against the San Francisco 49ers due to a neck injury, and he is considered questionable to return.
From TheHuddle
Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen didn't have a huge day in terms of passing yardage, but was able to get the job done. Allen completed 16-of-22 passing attempts for 209 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. He also added 45 yards on seven rushing attempts with an additional touchdown on the ground. This was a solid three-score game for Allen as they were able to take down the New Orleans Saints. The Bills offense certainly had troubles at times during this game, but they were able to get the job done. Allen will remain an elite fantasy option for the Week 5 matchup against the New England Patriots.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving was all over the field during Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Irving rushed the ball 15 times for 63 yards, which gives him three straight games with 60 rushing yards or more. His biggest contribution came as a receiver this weekend. Irving hauled in five receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown in the loss. The second-year back got a majority of that yardage on a 72-yard catch-and-run in the third quarter. Irving continues to be a big part of both the rushing and receiving game in Tampa Bay. He'll continue to be a solid RB1 for the Week 5 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions RB David Montgomery rushed nine times for just 12 yards in Week 4 against the Cleveland Browns, while going without a reception on a lone target.
Fantasy Spin: After the gigantic performance against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night, fantasy manager knew Montgomery was going to have a regression with the tough matchup against Cleveland, but wow. He remains a tremendous low-end RB2 or flex fantasy option in all leagues despite the stinker. He'll look to bounce back in Week 5 at Cincinnati in a much more favorable matchup.
