Jalen Coker Sep 25 12:10am CT
    Jalen Coker

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker (quad) is progressing in his return from injury, but he remains in the week-to-week stage of his recovery, according to Joe Person of The Athletic. Coker injured his quad seemingly out of nowhere right after the news of Adam Thielen being traded to Minnesota and boosting his fantasy value. It seems the injury is taking more time than expected and will keep him out beyond the allotted four games for injured reserve. He is still a solid stash on injured reserve for the time being, but if you get crunched for a roster spot, then it is probably okay to cut him loose.

Will Dissly Sep 25 12:00am CT
    Will Dissly

Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly (knee) was listed as a DNP in Wednesday's practice, according to Daniel Popper of The Athletic. Dissly did not play in their Week 3 win over the Broncos, and that opened the door for rookie Oronde Gadsden to emerge and potentially become a big piece moving forward. Gadsden was active and saw playing time for the first time in his career, and he earned seven targets, catching five for 46 yards. Dissly's snap count is certainly in danger when he returns as head coach. Jim Harbaugh has already indicated that Gadsden will see more work. Dissly had a productive season last year, but he isn't as talented a receiver as Tyler Conklin and Gadsden. He likely won't have fantasy relevance anytime soon, and the injury doesn't help things.

Noah Brown Sep 24 11:50pm CT
    Noah Brown

Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown (groin, knee) was listed as a DNP in Wednesday's practice, according to Ben Standig. Brown missed Week 3's game against the Raiders after injuring his groin in Week 2 against the Packers. It was expected early last week that Brown wasn't going to be able to go, and his status for this week is very much in the air. Head coach Dan Quinn has often used Wednesday as a rest day for veterans, which he did here for a number of guys, but it's more likely that Brown missed due to injury than it was for a veteran rest day. Brown has had plenty of injuries throughout his career, including an injury to his kidney that ended his season last year. Brown shouldn't be on fantasy radars even if he were to suit up in Week 4 against Atlanta.

David Njoku Sep 24 11:40pm CT
    David Njoku

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday, according to Scott Petrak of the Chronicle-Telegram. The team did not practice on Wednesday, so participation for all players is an estimate. Njoku played 76% of the snaps on Sunday against the Packers and hauled in five of his seven targets for 40 yards. It's been a slower start to the season for the 29-year-old tight end, as he has failed to exceed 40 yards in any game so far. Last season, he was under 40 yards only four times in 11 games. Rookie Harold Fannin Jr. has stepped in and earned some volume, and now the offense has shifted to be a bit more run-heavy with rookie Quinshon Judkins. Njoku is still on the fringe TE1 line for Week 4 against Detroit, assuming he is good to suit up.

Cedric Tillman Sep 24 11:30pm CT
    Cedric Tillman

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (hand, hip) was listed as a limited participant on Wednesday, according to Scott Petrak of the Chronicle-Telegram. The team did not practice on Wednesday, so participation for all players is an estimate. Tillman played 74% of the snaps in their Week 3 win over the Packers, catching all three of his targets for 26 yards. The Browns have trended more towards the run so far, leaning on rookie running back Quinshon Judkins. It isn't the best upside case for the Cleveland pass catchers with Joe Flacco, but it is still early. Tillman will have two more opportunities to practice this week to upgrade his status before Sunday, when he will be looking for a bounce-back performance in Week 4 against Detroit.

Kyle Pitts Sep 24 10:20pm CT
    Kyle Pitts

Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. (toe) was listed as a limited participant in the first practice of the week on Wednesday, according to Tori McElhaney of AtlantaFalcons.com. Pitts popped up on last week's injury report on Thursday and was limited as well, but he returned to a full practice on Friday and then caught four of six targets for 39 yards in the Week 3 loss to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The 24-year-old should return to a full practice by the end of this week and be cleared of an injury designation for the Week 4 tilt against the Washington Commanders this weekend. Pitts has yet to score a touchdown through three weeks in 2025, but he's been more involved in the passing attack and has reeled in 15 of his 19 targets for 135 yards. Against Washington's suspect secondary, Pitts could break out as the Falcons' offense looks to bounce back after being shut out last week by the Carolina Panthers.

Isaiah Likely Sep 24 10:20pm CT
    Isaiah Likely

Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely (foot) was listed as a limited participant during the team's walk-through practice on Wednesday, according to the team. A foot injury has kept Likely out for the first three games of the 2025 season, but head coach John Harbaugh is hoping that the 25-year-old will be able to make his season debut in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs this Sunday. Likely's return will be bad news for Mark Andrews, who broke out for six catches, 91 yards, and two touchdowns in Monday night's loss to the Detroit Lions after catching just two passes for seven yards the first two weeks. Likely will almost certainly be on a snap count if he returns this weekend in a bad matchup, so he would not be a recommended fantasy play. When fully healthy and sharing time with Andrews, Likely will be a touchdown-dependent TE2 in Baltimore's high-scoring offense.

Brock Purdy Sep 24 10:10pm CT
    Brock Purdy

San Francisco 49ers quarterbacks Brock Purdy (toe, shoulder) and Mac Jones (knee) were both limited participants in practice on Wednesday, according to Matt Barrows of The Athletic. Head coach Kyle Shanahan said the two signal-callers would share the first-team practice reps on Wednesday, with third-stringer Adrian Martinez also getting some first-team work. Purdy has missed the last two games with turf toe and an AC joint sprain in his left shoulder, while Jones aggravated a PCL sprain in his left knee in the Week 3 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Jones has gone 53-for-80 for 563 yards, four touchdowns, and one pick in two starts in place of Purdy, without the luxury of having tight end George Kittle (hamstring). It's unknown who will start under center for San Fran in Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but for what it's worth, Purdy appeared close to a return last week.

Bhayshul Tuten Sep 24 10:00pm CT
    Bhayshul Tuten

Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Bhayshul Tuten (shoulder) was listed as a limited participant in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. Tuten was also limited during practice last week with a shoulder injury, but he ended up playing in the Week 3 win over the Houston Texans and went for 21 rushing yards and his first NFL rushing touchdown on six carries. He failed to catch his only target. The 23-year-old wasn't as efficient as he was in the Week 2 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, but he was able to find the end zone for the second straight week as the change-of-pace back behind Travis Etienne Jr. Barring a setback with his shoulder, Tuten should be fine to suit up for a Week 4 meeting against a San Francisco 49ers defense that just lost Nick Bosa (knee) for the year. Consider Tuten an upside RB3/flex play this weekend.

Michael Mayer Sep 24 9:50pm CT
    Michael Mayer

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol and did not participate in the first practice of the week on Wednesday. Mayer suffered a concussion in the Week 3 loss to the Washington Commanders and is in danger of missing the Week 4 contest against the Chicago Bears on Sunday. If the 24-year-old is unable to gain clearance before Sunday's game, Ian Thomas would become the backup for All-Pro TE Brock Bowers. Mayer remains in the shadow of Bowers at the tight end position in Vegas and cannot be trusted in fantasy lineups unless Bowers misses time with an injury. In three games so far this year, he's caught six of his seven targets for 47 yards and no touchdowns. Mayer belongs on the waiver wire in 12-team fantasy leagues until further notice.

    From RotoBaller

Tyrone Tracy Jr. Sep 24 9:50pm CT
    Tyrone Tracy Jr.

Unsurprisingly, New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. (shoulder) was unable to practice on Wednesday as the team began preparing for the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4, according to Dan Salomone of Giants.com. Tracy dislocated his shoulder in the Sunday night loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the first quarter and is expected to miss two to four weeks, so it's only a matter of time before he's ruled out this week. Rookie Cam Skattebo looked good in a lead-back role in Week 3 and will serve as the team's RB1 going forward as the Giants move to rookie first-rounder Jaxson Dart as their starting quarterback. Behind Skattebo, Devin Singletary will be in line for a bigger role as well as the RB2, although he won't have much standalone fantasy appeal. Skattebo should be rostered in all fantasy leagues now and is firmly in flex territory in Week 4 against L.A.

    From RotoBaller

Brock Bowers Sep 24 9:40pm CT
    Brock Bowers

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers (knee) was a full participant in the first practice of Week 4 on Wednesday, according to Ryan McFadden of ESPN. It's the first time that Bowers has practiced in full since suffering a knee injury in the Week 1 win over the New England Patriots. Although Bowers didn't miss a game with his knee injury, he's gone for only 38 receiving yards in back-to-back games on nine total catches after posting 103 yards on five receptions in the season opener. The second-year tight end also has yet to find the end zone in 2025. The fact that the 22-year-old is back to practicing in full is a good sign, and hopefully, it means he'll be back to TE1 fantasy numbers in an upcoming good matchup in Week 4 against the Chicago Bears' suspect pass defense. It's also worth noting that Michael Mayer remains in the league's concussion protocol and could sit out this Sunday after injuring his head in Week 3.

    Jacory Croskey-Merritt Sep 24 9:30pm CT
    Jacory Croskey-Merritt

Washington Commanders rookie running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt's knee injury is not considered serious, a source told Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post. Jhabvala added that she shouldn't be surprised if Croskey-Merritt practices on Thursday after he did not take the field on Wednesday. The 24-year-old had 10 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown in his NFL debut in Week 1, but he's combined for only 12 carries for 33 yards and a score over the last two games, including only eight carries for 26 yards in the Week 3 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in the first game without Austin Ekeler (Achilles). JCM should lead Washington's backfield when all is said and done in 2025 with Ekeler done for the season, but he's going to share the load with Chris Rodriguez Jr. and Jeremy McNichols. Line Croskey-Merritt up as an RB3/flex in Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Baker Mayfield Sep 24 9:10pm CT
    Baker Mayfield

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (arm) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice. Mayfield appears to be dealing with an issue with his throwing arm, but fantasy managers shouldn't panic. The Bucs are likely just being cautious early in the week. Barring any setbacks, Mayfield will be out there for the Week 4 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. The loss of Mike Evans (hamstring) does hurt this offense, but hopefully the Bucs will get Chris Godwin (ankle) back this weekend. Mayfield has thrown for over 600 yards with six touchdowns and zero interceptions this season. He'll find a way to get the job done, so keep him as a QB1.

    From RotoBaller

Chris Godwin Sep 24 9:00pm CT
    Chris Godwin

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) was a full participant during Wednesday's practice session. This is the first time this season that Godwin has been able to go through a full session. The 29-year-old has missed the first three games of the season while recovering from an ankle injury he suffered last year. The fact Godwin was able to get through a full session on Wednesday is a great sign for this weekend. Barring any setbacks, Godwin should be able to get out there for his season debut against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 4. It comes at a good time for the Bucs who just lost Mike Evans (hamstring) for a few weeks. Godwin figures to play a significant role in the offense right away.

    From RotoBaller

Josh Jacobs Sep 24 8:50pm CT
    Josh Jacobs

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (ankle) was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday. This shouldn't shock anyone as Jacobs was limited during last week's practice sessions with the same issue. He ultimately was fine by the end of the week and played against the Cleveland Browns in Week 3. This move is likely just the Packers being cautious with Jacobs and trying to limit his reps. The 27-year-old had trouble on the ground last week as he only rushed for 30 yards on 16 attempts in the loss to Cleveland. He'll hope for a bounce back performance against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4.

    From RotoBaller

Tucker Kraft Sep 24 8:50pm CT
    Tucker Kraft

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (elbow, knee) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. Kraft is dealing with multiple injuries right now, so it's not shocking to see him limited to begin the week. Kraft suffered a knee injury last Thursday and still managed to suit up in Week 3. He hauled in three of his four targets for 29 yards in the loss to the Cleveland Browns. The fact Kraft is limited on Wednesday shouldn't concern fantasy managers. The Packers are likely just being cautious early in the week, so there's no reason to believe Kraft will be absent against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 4.

    From RotoBaller

Nico Collins Sep 24 8:40pm CT
    Nico Collins

Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (knee) was a limited participant during Wednesday's practice session. This is a bit odd for fantasy managers as Collins didn't appear to have suffered an injury during Sunday's game. He logged in 86 percent of the offensive snaps while hauling in eight of 11 targets for 104 yards and a touchdown in Week 3. It's possible that his absence was more for rest than a real knee injury. Fantasy managers will need to check back on Thursday and Friday for more updates. If Collins misses time, Jayden Higgins and Christian Kirk would see heavier workloads.

    From RotoBaller

Jayden Daniels Sep 24 8:30pm CT
    Jayden Daniels

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (knee) appears to be feeling better after sitting out Sunday's game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Daniels suffered a knee injury in Week 2 that forced him to the sideline last Sunday. He was able to get through a limited practice on Wednesday without any discomfort. Despite the progress, Daniels is leaving his game status for Week 4 up to the doctors. The Commanders are likely going to wait it out a few more days before making a final decision. There's a chance that Daniels does suit up this weekend, but wears a brace on his knee. However, no one should blame the Commanders for taking the cautious approach and sitting their young franchise quarterback for one more game. Marcus Mariota completed 15-of-21 passing attempts for 207 yards and a touchdown in Week 3. The 31-year-old seems capable of leading this offense to victory against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 4. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update on Daniels.

    From RotoBaller

Zach Charbonnet Sep 24 8:20pm CT
    Zach Charbonnet

Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet (foot) is currently listed as questionable ahead of Thursday's Week 4 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Charbonnet sat out in Week 3, but has been able to get through practice this week. The fact that it's a short week probably has something to do with Charbonnet being tagged as questionable. The 24-year-old hasn't been given a ton of time to recover from his injury that sidelined him last Sunday. If he sits, Kenneth Walker III would be asked to carry a heavy workload. Last week, Walker rushed the ball 16 times and scored two touchdowns on the ground. If Charbonnet plays, he'll likely split up the carries with Walker in the backfield. The third-year back has some flex appeal if he's able to suit up on Thursday.
