Carolina Panthers running back Rico Dowdle had 25 rushing attempts, 130 rushing yards, and two rushing touchdowns during Sunday's Week 9 win over the Green Bay Packers. He also caught two of his three targets for an additional 11 receiving yards. Dowdle was named the official lead back ahead of this week's game, and he wasted no time confirming the coaching staff made the right decision with his role. He averaged at least 4.65 yards per carry for the fifth consecutive week, bringing his season total to 5.61 YPC. After being somewhat of a non-factor through the first four weeks of the season, Dowdle has suddenly emerged as a potential league-winner in fantasy football. He is the RB3 in PPR leagues over the last five weeks, as well as the overall RB9 over the full nine weeks since the season began. He has a firm grasp on the No. 1 role in Carolina and should be deployed as a strong RB1 option in fantasy football ahead of next week's game against the New Orleans Saints.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (ribs) "got his ribs" during Sunday's Week 9 win over the New Orleans Saints, according to head coach Sean McVay. Nacua could have come back into the game -- presumably if the score were closer -- and is expected to be fine for next week's divisional battle with the San Francisco 49ers. Despite departing the game on Sunday, Nacua was still terrific with seven catches, 95 yards, and one touchdown. He remains a high-end WR1 in fantasy football, assuming he suits up next week. Fantasy managers should stay tuned to updates on Nacua's status within the Rams' practice reports from Wednesday through Friday.

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert completed 19 of his 29 pass attempts for 250 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception during Sunday's Week 9 victory over the Tennessee Titans. He also had nine rushing attempts for an additional 57 yards and one touchdown on the ground. Tennessee made a bid for the upset early, but Herbert and company kept the score close and ultimately pulled ahead. The 27-year-old quarterback now has 11 total touchdowns and four turnovers over his last four games, cementing himself as a top-five signal-caller in fantasy football. He should be started in all leagues despite next week's matchup against a surging Pittsburgh Steelers defense.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart completed 24 of his 33 pass attempts for 191 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions during Sunday's Week 9 loss against the San Francisco 49ers. He also registered eight rushing attempts for 56 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. The rookie sensation has played quite well despite New York's 2-7 record; he has 11 total touchdowns and just one interception over his last four games. In fact, he has scored a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown in four straight contests. Even if the Giants continue to lose, Dart should be started in most fantasy leagues. He's a mid-to-low QB1 for Week 10 against the Chicago Bears, who just surrendered 470 yards and four touchdowns to Joe Flacco.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp (hamstring, heel) was ruled out ahead of the Week 9 matchup against the Washington Commanders on Sunday Night Football. As expected, Kupp will head to the sideline as he's dealing with multiple injuries. This is bad news for an already banged-up wideout group in Seattle. The loss of Kupp figures to mean increased roles for Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Tory Horton, and Ricky White III on Sunday. Horton could be a look as a streaming option for fantasy managers attempting to replace Kupp ahead of kickoff.

Chicago Bears rookie tight end Colston Loveland put together a breakout performance against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday. The rookie tight end has been quiet throughout most of the season, but was excellent in Week 9. He snagged his first career touchdown with a five-yard grab in the third quarter. Loveland topped that with a 58-yard game-winning score with 17 seconds remaining on the clock. He finished his day by hauling in six of his seven targets for 118 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the win. It's worth noting that Cole Kmet (concussion) exited this game early. His status will play into Loveland's fantasy value for the Week 10 matchup against the New York Giants.
From RotoBaller
Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Flacco came into a Week 9 contest against the Chicago Bears banged up, but he showed no signs of it during Sunday's 47-42 loss. Flacco has looked remarkable under center since joining the Bengals in Week 6. He roasted the Bears' secondary during Sunday's game. Flacco completed 31-of-47 passing attempts for a career-high 470 passing yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions in the loss. The 40-year-old appeared to have made a miraculous comeback with two touchdowns on his final two drives. Sadly for him, Colston Loveland scored a 58-yard touchdown to secure the win for Chicago. Despite the loss, Flacco has been unbelievable under center for Cincinnati. He'll look to keep the magic going against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11.
From RotoBaller
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins was a tough player to stop during Sunday's game against the Chicago Bears. Higgins has been difficult to keep out of the end zone lately. On Sunday, Higgins hauled in seven of his nine targets for 121 yards and two touchdowns in the loss. The 26-year-old made easy work of the Bears' secondary, but sadly, the Bengals' defense wasn't able to hold up on their side. Regardless, Higgins has four touchdowns over his last three games and is showing no signs of slowing down. His next chance to do damage will be against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 11.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (chest) is currently considered questionable to return for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. It appears Nacua suffered a chest injury during the second half of this contest. The Rams are already up multiple scores, so they might play it safe and hold out Nacua for the rest of the night. For now, fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day, but more information should be known soon. Before exiting, Nacua secured seven of his eight targets for 98 yards and a touchdown. Fantasy managers should check back for another update on his status.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey was seemingly unstoppable during Sunday's game against the New York Giants. He got the fun started early with a five-yard touchdown grab in the first quarter. The Giants' defense never seemed to figure out how to stop McCaffrey throughout this game. He rushed 28 times for 106 yards with a touchdown. He also hauled in five of his six targets for 67 yards and an additional score in the victory. McCaffrey posted an ugly outing against the Houston Texans last week, but bounced back nicely here. The 29-year-old remains one of the best fantasy players in the league.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London caught nine of his 14 targets for 118 yards and three touchdowns during Sunday's Week 9 loss against the New England Patriots. London had an impressive game despite playing against a strong Patriots secondary featuring Christian Gonzalez, Marcus Jones, and Carlton Davis. Not only did he set a new season-high in fantasy points, but he also had his first multi-touchdown showing of the year. London accounted for the bulk of Atlanta's scoring and gave them a chance to tie the game late, but kicker Parker Romo missed an extra point to keep the Falcons in a one-point deficit that they did not overcome. London is a mid-to-high WR1 heading into Week 10 against the Indianapolis Colts.
From RotoBaller
Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams completed 20 of his 34 pass attempts for 280 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions during Sunday's Week 9 win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He also caught two passes for 22 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown. Furthermore, he rushed the ball five times for an additional 53 yards on the ground. It was an incredible day all around from Williams, who got involved as a passer, runner, and receiver, thanks to some creative play-calling from Ben Johnson. The former No. 1 pick is having a very impressive second pro season, establishing himself as a mid-to-low QB1 in fantasy football. He'll have an opportunity to feast against the 2-7 New York Giants next week.
From RotoBaller
The Tennessee Titans are not shopping wide receiver Calvin Ridley (hamstring) ahead of Tuesday's 4 p.m. trade deadline, according to Turron Davenport of ESPN. Davenport's post on X claims to refute other reports that said Ridley was being shopped. However, he does note that the team has been receiving interest in Ridley. Even though the Titans aren't actively trying to move the veteran receiver, he could still be traded if another team makes a fair offer. Such a scenario would open the door for rookies Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike to occupy even larger roles on offense.
From RotoBaller
Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Hunter Long (hip, knee) exited during the second quarter of Sunday's Week 9 contest against the Las Vegas Raiders. He is officially listed as questionable to return. At the time of his departure, he had caught one pass for six yards. Long had seen increased opportunities recently with Brenton Strange (quadriceps) on injured reserve. With both Long and Strange now sidelined, Johnny Mundt will step up as the Jaguars' primary tight end.
From RotoBaller
Minnesota Vikings running back Aaron Jones Sr. (shoulder) suffered a sprained AC joint during Sunday's Week 9 victory over the Detroit Lions, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The injury is believed to be minor, and Jones expects to play in next week's game against the Baltimore Ravens. The 30-year-old had 78 rushing yards on nine carries before departing Sunday, and he also caught two passes for an additional 20 receiving yards. He should reclaim the lead-back role next week against the Ravens, assuming he does suit up. Fantasy managers should pay attention to the Vikings' injury reports from Wednesday through Friday.
From RotoBaller
The Green Bay Packers fear that tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) tore his ACL during Sunday's Week 9 loss against the Carolina Panthers, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. If tests confirm this diagnosis, Kraft will be done for the season. This is a brutal loss for the Packers, as Kraft was off to a spectacular start this season with 32 catches, 489 yards, and six touchdowns through eight games. He had been the overall TE2 in fantasy football so far. With Kraft likely shut down for the rest of the season, Luke Musgrave will take over as the Packers' starting tight end next week against the Philadelphia Eagles.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that tight end Tucker Kraft's knee injury "does not look good." The team will conduct additional testing on Kraft tomorrow, but the expectation is that he'll miss an extended period of time. In fact, ESPN's Rob Demovsky cautions that LaFleur's language could indicate that Kraft suffered a season-ending injury. Fantasy managers should stay tuned for additional updates on the talented tight end on Monday. Kraft was the overall TE2 in PPR leagues entering this weekend, amassing a total of 30 catches, 469 yards, and six touchdowns. He added another two catches for 20 yards before departing on Sunday. Luke Musgrave will step up as the Packers' top tight end going forward.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez (head) exited during the fourth quarter of Sunday's Week 9 contest against the Atlanta Falcons. He is officially listed as questionable to return. He had seven tackles and two passes defended at the time of his departure. The 23-year-old is regarded as one of the league's top cornerbacks, but he had a rough time covering Drake London on Sunday. Before Gonzalez left due to injury, London had tallied six catches, 75 yards, and two touchdowns while being covered by a combination of Gonzalez and Marcus Jones. Until Gonzalez can return, Jones and Carlton Davis III will operate as the Patriots' top cornerbacks.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's Week 9 contest against the Carolina Panthers. He exited in the third quarter and was initially listed as questionable before being downgraded to out. Kraft finishes the game with just two catches for 20 yards. Green Bay entered this week without Dontayvion Wicks (calf) and lost both Kraft and Matthew Golden (shoulder) mid-game, leaving the Packers short-staffed as they try to mount a comeback against the Panthers. Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs will lead the receiving corps while Luke Musgrave steps up as the top tight end. Kraft will now have eight days to get healthy before the Packers' Week 10 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden (shoulder) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's Week 9 contest against the Carolina Panthers. The rookie exited in the third quarter and was initially listed as questionable before being downgraded to out. Golden finishes the game with just two catches for nine yards. Green Bay entered this week without Dontayvion Wicks (calf) and lost both Golden and Tucker Kraft (knee) mid-game, leaving the Packers short-staffed as they try to mount a comeback against the Panthers. Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Luke Musgrave will lead the receiving corps while Savion Williams and Malik Heath take on bigger depth roles. Golden will now have eight days to get healthy before the Packers' Week 10 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.
