Justin Herbert Oct 10 2:50pm CT
    Justin Herbert

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has a good chance to get the team back on track this week against the Miami Dolphins, who have one of the weakest defenses in the league heading into Sunday. Despite leading the team in rushing last week and being one of the top passers during the Chargers' early wins, Herbert's production has slowed due to injuries along the offensive line, taking 35 hits in the last three games. Critical penalties and the absence of Joe Alt (ankle) and Trey Pipkins (knee) continue to put pressure on Herbert. The Dolphins' defense ranks last in average rushing yards allowed. Still, the Chargers will be deploying backups Hassan Haskins and Kimani Vidal this week after Omarion Hampton (ankle) was placed on IR. The offense should lean more on the passing game and its proven weapons, but keep an eye on Quentin Johnston, who was limited all week with a hamstring injury and is questionable for Sunday. RotoBaller projects Herbert as the QB6 this week, making him a reliable high-end QB1 despite the offensive challenges around him.

Xavier Worthy Oct 10 2:40pm CT
    Xavier Worthy

After missing Thursday's practice, Kansas City Chiefs second-year wide receiver Xavier Worthy (shoulder/ankle) was a full participant on Friday and carries no injury designation for Sunday night's clash with the Lions. Since returning from the shoulder injury that knocked him out of the season opener, Worthy has averaged 8.5 targets, 5.5 receptions, and 86 yards from scrimmage in the last two games, as Andy Reid and Matt Nagy have made an obvious effort to get him designed touches. In what should be the last game played without suspended receiver Rashee Rice, and what could turn into a primetime shootout, Worthy is a high upside WR2/flex play in Week 6.

Juwan Johnson Oct 10 2:30pm CT
    Juwan Johnson

After logging two limited practices to start the week, New Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson (ankle) was a full participant on Friday and is good to go for Sunday's matchup with the Patriots, according to head coach Kellen Moore. While Johnson has seen his target share and receptions drop dramatically over the last two weeks, the Patriots have been one of the league's worst teams at defending the tight end and have already ruled out starting safety Jaylinn Hawkins. Johnson has a chance to repeat some of his early-season success and could be readily available on waiver wires following two disappointing performances.

Brock Bowers Oct 10 2:20pm CT
    Brock Bowers

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers (knee) sat out of another practice on Friday, making it likely that he will miss his second straight game when the Raiders host the Titans on Sunday. Bowers injured his left knee in the season opener against the Patriots, and while he played through the next three games with what has been diagnosed as an injury to his PCL and bone bruise, he was not his usual explosive self. The belief is that playing through such an injury could expose Bowers to further damage, and he was held out of the Raiders' Week 5 loss to the Colts. Third-year tight end Michael Mayer (concussion) also missed Week 5 but has since cleared concussion protocol and is expected to play on Sunday. With the Titans struggling to defend against the tight end position, Mayer is in play for fantasy managers without one of the obvious weekly starts.

Jalen Tolbert Oct 10 2:10pm CT
    Jalen Tolbert

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Tolbert was targeted just once and held without a catch in Week 5 against the New York Jets. With Cowboys wideouts CeeDee Lamb (ankle) and KaVontae Turpin (foot) both sidelined, Tolbert appeared to be in line to serve as the team's WR2 alongside George Pickens. Instead, it was second-year wide receiver Ryan Flournoy who had a breakout game against the Jets, hauling in six of nine targets for 114 yards. Both Lamb and Turpin appear headed towards being out for Dallas' Week 6 matchup against the Carolina Panthers, so Tolbert will have another chance to make an impact. Still, given his subpar production in Week 5, Tolbert remains tough for fantasy managers to trust. At best, he profiles as a low-end flex option in deep leagues in Week 6 against Carolina.

Quentin Johnston Oct 10 2:00pm CT
    Quentin Johnston

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston (hamstring) is questionable to play in Week 6 against the Miami Dolphins due to a hamstring injury, according to ESPN's Kris Rhim. Johnston has been one of the breakout stars of the 2025 season so far, recording 26 catches for 377 yards and four touchdowns through his first five games. If he were to be sidelined for Week 6, Chargers wideouts Keenan Allen and Ladd McConkey could both see an uptick in target volume. Rookie wide receivers Keandre Lambert-Smith and Tre' Harris could also factor into the mix at the position for Los Angeles. If Johnston can play, he profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver in a favorable matchup against the Dolphins.

Xavier Worthy Oct 10 1:40pm CT
    Xavier Worthy

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (ankle, shoulder) was back on the practice field on Friday after missing the team's Thursday practice, according to Taylor Burr of Fox4 Sports. Additionally, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports that Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said he anticipates Worthy being available in Week 6 against the Detroit Lions. Worthy dislocated his shoulder on Kansas City's opening drive in Week 1 and missed Weeks 2 and 3 as a result. In the two full games he's played this season, the 22-year-old has recorded 11 catches for 125 yards on 17 targets. With top Chiefs wideout Rashee Rice sidelined for Week 6 due to suspension, Worthy should be expected to take on a WR1 workload once again against the Lions. Worthy profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver in Week 6.

Alvin Kamara Oct 10 1:40pm CT
    Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (ankle) is questionable to play in the team's Week 6 game against the New England Patriots, according to Rod Walker of The New Orleans Advocate. Kamara has been listed as a limited practice participant this week after suffering an ankle injury during practice on Wednesday. The 30-year-old has recorded 360 scrimmage yards and one touchdown on 90 total touches. If he were unable to play in Week 6, Saints running back Kendre Miller would be in line for a significant workload increase. Assuming Kamara can suit up, he profiles as a high-end RB3/flex option in Week 6 against New England.

Matthew Wright Oct 10 1:30pm CT
    Matthew Wright

With kicker Joey Slye (calf) officially out for Week 6 due to a calf injury, the Tennessee Titans will turn to Matthew Wright to handle the kicking duties on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders. Wright has appeared in 29 games across five NFL seasons for six different teams, making 55 out of 63 (87.3%) of his career field goal attempts. Wright appeared in five games spread across three teams in 2024, including two with Tennessee. He made 15 out of 16 field goal attempts last year, although his longest make was from just 50 yards out. Wright profiles as a kicker for fantasy managers to avoid in Week 6 against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Jalen McMillan Oct 10 1:20pm CT
    Jalen McMillan

Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles replied, "I hope so," when asked whether wide receiver Jalen McMillan (neck) will play in 2025, per Greg Auman of Fox Sports. Bowles did note that McMillan is "getting better" but is "still in the neck brace." The second-year wide receiver suffered a neck injury during the preseason and is currently on Injured Reserve. McMillan recorded 37 catches for 461 yards and eight touchdowns on 58 targets in 13 games last season, but it does not appear he is close to making his 2025 debut. The Buccaneers' wide receiver corps is currently quite depleted, with wideouts Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (fibula) both set to miss the team's Week 6 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers. Evans and Godwin are both expected to return before McMillan, but Buccaneers rookie wide receiver Emeka Egbuka could have an extended run as the team's WR1.

Joey Slye Oct 10 1:20pm CT
    Joey Slye

Tennessee Titans kicker Joey Slye (calf) has officially been ruled out for the team's Week 6 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders due to a calf injury, per Jim Wyatt of TennesseeTitans.com. Slye leads the league in both field goal attempts (17) and makes (13 through five weeks so far this season. With Slye sidelined, Tennessee will reportedly let veteran Matthew Wright handle the kicking duties in Week 6. Wright has appeared in 29 games across five NFL seasons for six different teams. He's made 55 out of 63 (87.3%) of his career field goal attempts. Wright should be avoided by fantasy managers in Week 6 against Las Vegas.

Cam Skattebo Oct 10 1:13pm CT
    Cam Skattebo

Dynasty | Giants running back Cam Skattebo had 98 rushing yards, two catches, 12 receiving yards, and three touchdowns in a win against the Eagles. Dynasty Analysis: This performance officially anoints Skattebo as the unquestioned three-down option in New York and puts him squarely on the map as an RB1/2 moving forward. Skattebo has quickly risen up the depth chart in New York and his bruising, physical running style seems to fit the team perfectly. At this point, he's going to be tough to keep out of dynasty lineups, regardless of touchdowns being tough to predict. His ADP and rookie ranking continue to rise.

Jaxson Dart Oct 10 1:13pm CT
    Jaxson Dart

Dynasty | Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart completed 17-of-25 passes for 195 yards with one touchdown and no interceptions, while rushing for 58 yards and adding another score in an upset win over the Eagles. Dynasty Analysis: Dart is now the toast of the town for the Giants as he's clearly given them a spark on offense. While the passing yardage totals aren't blowing anyone away, his rushing totals are making a difference and he isn't turning the ball over. One can only wonder what this would look like with a healthy Malik Nabers, but that's for another day. At this point, Dart is moving up the rankings board as a young quarterback who could have the "it" factor.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Jaxson Dart Oct 10 1:13pm CT
    Jaxson Dart

Dynasty | Giants quarterback Russell Wilson threw one incomplete pass before moving back to the bench after covering for a temporary unavailable Jaxson Dart for one play. Dynasty Analysis: He was subsequently booed off the field. It's safe to say the city has turned on Russell and it was actually quite sad to see this play out. The Giants may face a fine for rushing Dart back on the field after going through a pretty quick concussion protocol test. Regardless, they couldn't get Wilson off the field fast enough. It wouldn't be surprising to see Wilson request a trade or even be released knowing the Giants still have Jameis Winston on the bench. His dynasty value is now non-existent.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Dallas Goedert Oct 10 1:13pm CT
    Dallas Goedert

Dynasty | Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert had nine catches for 110 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Giants. Dynasty Analysis: Goedert has now scored in four straight games, despite the Eagles having all kinds of trouble on offense. While he likely can't keep up a pace like this, Goedert has established himself as a weekly TE1 and has to be in lineups moving forward. He also could be a quick trade chip if he's on a dynasty team failing to win games at the moment. His value may be at its apex right now.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Saquon Barkley Oct 10 1:13pm CT
    Saquon Barkley

Dynasty | Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had 58 rushing yards, two catches and nine receiving yards in a loss to the Giants. Dynasty Analysis: So much for #revenge game. Barkley had 31 yards on his first two carries but the Eagles then attempted to do everything else in the offense other than giving him the ball. The offensive coordinator change, offensive line play, general play calling, and Barkley himself getting older may all be contributing factors but the fact is he's in a major slump. At this point, he has to be considered a RB2 until we see some signs of life.

Adonai Mitchell Oct 10 12:50pm CT
    Adonai Mitchell

When asked if Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Adonai Mitchell would be active for the Week 6 contest against the visiting Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, head coach Shane Steichen said, "We're working through that," according to Jake Arthur of Locked On Colts. Mitchell is currently in the dog house in Indy after making two crucial mistakes in the team's Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Alec Pierce (concussion) missed a second straight game in last week's blowout win over the Las Vegas Raiders, but Mitchell took on a much smaller role, playing just six offensive snaps and being targeted just once. Ashton Dulin was the beneficiary of the offense with Mitchell essentially benched, and he caught two passes for 55 yards. Pierce has cleared the league's concussion protocol and will play against Arizona, so there's a chance Mitchell will be a healthy scratch. Regardless, Mitchell's arrow is pointed firmly downward right now.

Alec Pierce Oct 10 12:50pm CT
    Alec Pierce

Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that wide receiver Alec Pierce (concussion) will play in Week 6 on Sunday against the visiting Arizona Cardinals after clearing the league's concussion protocol this week, according to Stephen Holder of ESPN. Pierce missed the team's last two games as a result of his head injury that he suffered in Week 3. The 25-year-old looked like he was close to playing in Week 5, but he was eventually ruled out after suffering a setback last Friday. With Pierce back in the fold, Adonai Mitchell could be on his way to being a healthy scratch after seeing his role dramatically reduced last Sunday following two crucial mistakes in the Week 4 loss. Pierce should settle back in as a top-three wideout for the Colts alongside Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs. Before his injury, the former second-rounder had caught nine passes for 171 yards and no touchdowns in three games.

Shedeur Sanders Oct 10 12:40pm CT
    Shedeur Sanders

Cleveland Browns rookie fifth-round quarterback Shedeur Sanders will serve as the backup to fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel in the Week 6 divisional clash on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to head coach Kevin Stefanski. Sanders began the year buried on Cleveland's QB depth chart, but he has slowly risen up the ranks after the Browns traded both Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett. The 23-year-old showed well in training camp and the preseason and has been praised by the coaching staff for the work that he's put in, but they are going to continue to develop him at their own pace in what is looking like another rebuilding year. Gabriel will probably have a long leash under center as he heads into just his second NFL start this weekend against Pittsburgh. However, Sanders' odds of seeing action in 2025 later this year have risen dramatically after the trade of Flacco this week. He is still only deserving of being rostered in fantasy in dynasty/keeper leagues.

    Ja'Marr Chase Oct 10 12:30pm CT
    Ja'Marr Chase

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase (illness) has popped up on the Week 6 injury report and will be questionable for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers, according to head coach Zac Taylor. Chase was under the weather and was unable to practice on Friday, per Ben Baby of ESPN. The 25-year-old's status is now worth monitoring going into Sunday's game at Lambeau Field, but in all likelihood, he will be ready to play come Sunday. As long as Chase is active, he proved last week that he remains a must-start in fantasy, even without quarterback Joe Burrow (toe). The Bengals will be debuting new QB Joe Flacco in Week 6 against the Packers. Flacco may not necessarily be an upgrade over Jake Browning under center, but he shouldn't be shy about forcing targets to Chase and Tee Higgins, the Bengals' best two pass-catchers. Chase is coming off a six-catch, 110-yard, two-touchdown performance in the Week 5 loss to the Detroit Lions.
