Jonathan Taylor Oct 26 8:20pm CT
    Jonathan Taylor

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor continued his dominant season with a monster showing in his team's 38-14 Week 8 victory over the Tennessee Titans. Taylor recorded 12 carries for 153 yards and two touchdowns, adding two catches for 21 yards and a receiving score as well. The 26-year-old running back is arguably on an MVP pace so far this season. Through eight games, Taylor has recorded 850 rushing yards and 12 touchdowns on 143 carries as well as 206 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 25 catches. He's the engine of a dominant Colts offense that is currently averaging over 30 points per game. Indianapolis will travel to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers in Week 9. As long as Taylor is healthy, he profiles as a must-start fantasy running back every week.

Myles Garrett Oct 26 8:18pm CT
    Myles Garrett

Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett finished with six solo tackles, including a franchise-best and career-high five sacks and five quarterback hits in Week 8 against the New England Patriots. He also passed Hall of Famer Reggie White (108.5) with the most sacks in NFL history before turning 30 yards old.

James Cook Oct 26 8:17pm CT
    James Cook

Buffalo Bills RB James Cook rushed 19 times for 216 yards and two touchdowns in Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers, while he was not targeted in the passing game. He is the first Bills RB to run for 200+ yards since Fred Jackson in 2009, and he is the third Buffalo back in franchise history to record least 214 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns in a game, joining RBs Cookie Gilchrist and O.J. Simpson.

Nick Chubb Oct 26 8:13pm CT
    Nick Chubb

Houston Texans RB Nick Chubb rushed 17 times for 56 yards in Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers, while adding two receptions for 13 yards on his two targets.

Fantasy Spin: Chubb averaged just 3.3 yards per carry (YPC), while Marks (11-62-0) had 5.6 YPC. While the two split the backfield carries, Marks was far more effective, and he has been showing a little more burst. Chubb is still worth a look as a flex fantasy play, but he is likely to be in a split, at best, and his role could diminish as the season wears on.

Malik Washington Oct 26 8:10pm CT
    Malik Washington

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Malik Washington caught four of his five targets for 36 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's Week 8 win over the Atlanta Falcons. Washington capitalized on another opportunity to handle an increased workload with Tyreek Hill (knee) and Darren Waller (hamstring) both sidelined. The 24-year-old receiver now has at least four catches in each of his last four games, ranking as the overall WR36 in PPR leagues during that span. His fantasy stock is heavily dependent on the play of Tua Tagovailoa. For now, Washington should be viewed as nothing more than a low-end WR3/flex ahead of Miami's Week 9 clash with Baltimore.

Joe Flacco Oct 26 8:03pm CT
    Joe Flacco

Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Flacco completed 21-of-34 for 223 yards and two touchdowns without an interception and ran twice for 14 yards and a touchdown in Week 8 against the New York Jets.

Fantasy Spin: It was the third straight start for Flacco, who threw for 342 yards and three touchdowns in Week7 vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers. Flacco landed on his right shoulder when he was sacked by Will McDonald IV midway through the fourth. He was checked out before taking the field for the team's final drive. Flacco has seven TDs and no picks in his three starts, is only a starting option in two-quarterback leagues at this point.

    From TheHuddle

Alvin Kamara Oct 26 8:03pm CT
    Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara rushed six times for 21 yards and caught two passes for 24 yards in a 23-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8.

Fantasy Spin: Kamara was the only running back to receive a carry against Tampa Bay, but he still failed to reach 30 rushing yards for the third time in the last four games. With the Saints struggling to do much of anything on offense, Kamara's upside has been capped, making him more of a flex option.

    From TheHuddle

Jayden Higgins Oct 26 8:00pm CT
    Jayden Higgins

Houston Texans rookie wide receiver Jayden Higgins caught four of his eight targets for 34 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's Week 8 win over the San Francisco 49ers. The rookie set a new season-high and career-high in targets and receiving yards. Higgins' increased workload was the direct result of Houston playing without Nico Collins (concussion) and Christian Kirk (hamstring). The 22-year-old has commanded three-plus targets in each of his last three games, but he'd presumably fall back off the fantasy radar if either Collins or Kirk returns against the Denver Broncos in Week 9.

    From RotoBaller

Sterling Shepard Oct 26 7:53pm CT
    Sterling Shepard

Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Sterling Shepard caught one of his two targets for eight yards in a 23-3 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 8.

Fantasy Spin: Shepard has now finished with 25 yards or less in four of the last five races, and his two targets were a season low. It appears that Tez Johnson has become the No. 2 receiver in the absence of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin, making Shepard expendable in most fantasy formats.

    From TheHuddle

Lavonte David Oct 26 7:53pm CT
    Lavonte David

Tampa Bay Buccaneers LB Lavonte David finished with a team-high 10 tackles, including four solo stops, in a 23-3 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 8.

    From TheHuddle

Bijan Robinson Oct 26 7:50pm CT
    Bijan Robinson

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson rushed for 25 yards on nine carries and lost a fumble during Sunday's Week 8 loss to the Miami Dolphins. He also caught all three of his targets for an additional 23 receiving yards. Robinson's 6.8 points in PPR leagues marked the first time this year he finished with fewer than 16 points. It was stunning to see the 23-year-old struggle on the ground against the Dolphins, who entered this week with one of the NFL's worst run defenses. Robinson's woes were the product of greater offensive issues from Atlanta, as this Kirk Cousins-led offense only scored 10 points. Fantasy managers should continue to start Robinson as a solid RB1, but temper expectations if Cousins starts again next week while Robinson faces a strong Patriots run defense.

    From RotoBaller

Xavier Hutchinson Oct 26 7:50pm CT
    Xavier Hutchinson

Houston Texans wide receiver Xavier Hutchinson caught five of his six targets for 69 yards and a touchdown during Sunday's Week 8 win over the San Francisco 49ers. Hutchinson took advantage of a rare opportunity to climb the depth chart with both Nico Collins (concussion) and Christian Kirk (hamstring) ruled out. The 25-year-old ultimately led the team in receiving yards and tied for the team lead in receptions. If Collins and Kirk are unable to return for Week 9 against Denver, Hutchinson could have low-end WR3/flex appeal once again, but he'd still have to continue competing with Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel for volume.

    From RotoBaller

Derek Barnett Oct 26 7:43pm CT
    Derek Barnett

Houston Texans DL Will Anderson Jr. and DE Derek Barnett each had one sack apiece in Week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers. Anderson had a solo stop, the sack, a tackle for loss and three quarterback hits, while Barnett has two solo tackles, the sack and two quarterback hits.

    From TheHuddle

Demarcus Robinson Oct 26 7:33pm CT
    Demarcus Robinson

San Francisco 49ers WR Demarcus Robinson posted two receptions for five yards on three targets in Week 8 against the Houston Texans.

Kyle Juszczyk Oct 26 7:33pm CT
    Kyle Juszczyk

San Francisco 49ers FB Kyle Juszczyk had a 4-yard reception on two targets in Week 8 against the Houston Texans on his only offensive touch.

    From TheHuddle

Christian McCaffrey Oct 26 7:30pm CT
    Christian McCaffrey

San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey rushed for just 25 yards on eight carries during Sunday's Week 8 loss against the Houston Texans. He also caught three of his six targets for an additional 43 receiving yards. McCaffrey had his worst game of the season; his 9.8 points in PPR leagues marked the first time he scored fewer than 22 points in a single game this year. This was a rare dud for McCaffrey, and part of the blame can be attributed to the quarterback position, as Mac Jones (59.4% completion rate, 193 yards, two touchdowns, one interception) struggled to put together many quality drives in place of Brock Purdy (toe). McCaffrey is still one of the most talented running backs in recent NFL history, and he should have no trouble bouncing back against a struggling Giants squad in Week 9.

    From RotoBaller

Marvin Mims Oct 26 7:30pm CT
    Marvin Mims

Denver Broncos wide receiver Marvin Mims Jr. entered concussion protocol following Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Dallas Cowboys, according to Troy Renck of the Denver Post. The team never announced an injury status for Mims mid-game, so it's unclear exactly when he suffered the injury. It may have occurred with 4:39 left in the fourth quarter when Mims returned a kick 26 yards. He finished the game with two punt returns and three kick returns. On offense, he was unable to haul in his lone target. The 23-year-old faces an uphill battle to clear concussion protocol in the seven days between now and Denver's Week 9 contest against the Houston Texans. Perhaps Week 10 against the Las Vegas Raiders is a more reasonable date to target for Mims' return to action. Pat Bryant will likely step up as the Broncos' No. 3 receiver behind Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin.

    From RotoBaller

Baker Mayfield Oct 26 7:23pm CT
    Baker Mayfield

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield completed 15 of his 24 passes for 152 yards in a 23-3 win over the New Orleans Saints in Week 8.

Fantasy Spin: With the Saints struggling to do anything on offense, Mayfield and company didn't have to do much to pick up the win. Mayfield finished with zero touchdowns for the first time this season, and his 152 yards were a season low. Mayfield should put up a more typical stat line when Tampa Bay returns to action in Week 10.

    From TheHuddle

George Kittle Oct 26 7:23pm CT
    George Kittle

San Francisco 49ers TE George Kittle posted four receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown on five targets in Week 8 against the Houston Texans.

Fantasy Spin: The score came on National Tight Ends Day, a 'holiday' Kittle is responsible for making up, first appearing in 2018. Fantasy managers can breathe a sigh of relief. After returning from a lengthy absence, Kittle was blanked last week on two targets. He is a fantasy must-start in all leagues whenever he is active. The 49ers travel to meet the New York Giants in Week 9.

    From TheHuddle

Christian McCaffrey Oct 26 7:13pm CT
    Christian McCaffrey

San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey rushed eight times for just 25 yards in Week 8 against the Houston Texans, while adding three catches for 43 yards on six targets.

Fantasy Spin: It was a tough pill to swallow for fantasy managers after CMC went for 200+ combined scrimmage yards in Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons. This time, a team with a good defense actually showed up and show the running back down. He'll look to rebound in Week 9 on the road against the New York Giants.
