Justin Fields Mar 10 1:40pm ET
    Justin Fields

The New York Jets are viewed as the top candidate to sign free-agent quarterback Justin Fields, according to Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic. No deal has been reached yet, but league sources believe he will ultimately land with New York. Fields spent last season with the Pittsburgh Steelers and threw for 1,106 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception in 10 game appearances. Fields started the team's first six games before being benched for veteran signal-caller Russell Wilson. However, the former first-round pick out of Ohio State could get another starting opportunity based on his resume in his first four NFL campaigns. Overall, Fields has racked up 7,780 passing yards, 45 passing touchdowns, 31 interceptions, 2,509 rushing yards, and 19 rushing touchdowns in 50 career games. He is one of the best rushing quarterbacks in the NFL, but he would likely not be an ideal quarterback for Garrett Wilson's fantasy football production. UPDATE: Fields continues to talk with the Steelers, but he will not re-sign in Pittsburgh unless they commit to him as their starter.

Carlton Davis Mar 10 1:30pm ET
    Carlton Davis

Free-agent cornerback Carlton Davis III has agreed to a three-year, $60 million contract with the New England Patriots, according to ESPN. The deal includes $34.5 million in total guarantees. Davis is a former second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers out of Auburn and was traded to the Detroit Lions last offseason. Overall, the 28-year-old has collected 380 tackles (310 solo), 11 interceptions, 84 pass deflections, four forced fumbles, six fumble recoveries, and 17.5 run stuffs in 89 career games. Paired with Christian Gonzalez, New England now has one of the top cornerback duos in the NFL under new head coach Mike Vrabel.

    From RotoBaller

Paulson Adebo Mar 10 1:30pm ET
    Paulson Adebo

Former New Orleans Saints cornerback Paulson Adebo has agreed to terms with the New York Giants, according to ESPN. Adebo was originally a third-round pick by New Orleans out of Stanford in 2021 and has compiled 254 tackles (209 solo), two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, 10 interceptions, and 43 pass deflections in 62 career games. The 25-year-old was limited to just seven games last season. Adebo joins a G-Men defense led by defensive coordinator Shane Bowen.

    From RotoBaller

Tony Pollard Mar 10 1:20pm ET
    Tony Pollard

Former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Dan Moore agreed to a four-year, $82 million contract with the Tennessee Titans, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. The deal includes $50 million guaranteed and $30 million in Year 1. Moore was a fourth-round pick by Pittsburgh in the 2021 NFL Draft out of Texas A&M and has started in 66 career games. The 26-year-old has started at both right and left tackle, but 2024 first-round pick J.C. Latham played right tackle at Alabama before starting at left tackle in his rookie campaign, so it remains to be seen where each player will suit up to begin the 2025 season. This signing should provide a boost for Tony Pollard and whoever starts at QB in Nashville moving forward.

    From RotoBaller

Milton Williams Mar 10 1:20pm ET
    Milton Williams

The Carolina Panthers are finalizing a deal to sign former Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Milton Williams, according to ESPN. The 2021 third-round pick out of Louisiana Tech registered 24 tackles (11 solo), five sacks, one forced fumble, and one pass deflection in 17 games for Philly last season and was viewed as one of the top defensive linemen on the free-agent market. Carolina's defense ranked last in the NFL last season in total yards per game (404.5), so the organization is emphasizing upgrading that side of the ball ahead of the 2025 campaign.

    From RotoBaller

Baker Mayfield Mar 10 1:13pm ET
    Baker Mayfield

Dynasty | The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have re-signed wide receiver Chris Godwin. Dynasty Analysis: It's reportedly a three-year deal worth $66 million. This will keep Godwin in pewter through his age-32 season and keeps the duo of Mike Evans and Godwin together for the best parts of their careers. It's a big deal for Tampa Bay as losing Godwin would have been catastrophic. While he's still recovering from an early season injury, he should be back by training camp and his 50/576/5 line last year showed he's still an elite option. This is big news for Baker Mayfield as well since he'll have the band back together again for an offense that was borderline explosive at times last year. Godwin's ADP will remain stable with the move.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Isiah Pacheco Mar 10 1:13pm ET
    Isiah Pacheco

Dynasty | The Chiefs have signed running back Elijah Mitchell, formerly of the 49ers. Dynasty Analysis: Ok, then. This is actually interesting. The Chiefs have Isiah Pacheco as their lead back, but Kareem Hunt is a free agent and Mitchell could be his replacement. We've seen him perform well in similar offensive systems and could be a serious weapon should Pacheco be injured again and if the Chiefs fail to add much else to the roster. While not a priority on dynasty rosters at the moment, Mitchell is a player to keep tabs on through the rest of free agency and the draft. If he's the backup in Kansas City, you could really have something here again.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Jimmy Garoppolo Mar 10 1:13pm ET
    Jimmy Garoppolo

Dynasty | The Rams have re-signed quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Dynasty Analysis: He gets a one-year deal worth $11 million to be on the sidelines with the Rams hoping he never plays. This is a contract we'd all want to have, but Jimmy G has somehow made it happen. It's clear the Rams are in "win now" mode and Garoppolo would keep the ship afloat should something happen to Matthew Stafford. While he has some obvious appeal in Superflex leagues, he really isn't roster worthy at this point in traditional leagues, especially now that we now he won't be a starter.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Jimmy Garoppolo Mar 10 1:10pm ET
    Jimmy Garoppolo

Free-agent quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is signing back with the Los Angeles Rams on a one-year deal, according to ESPN. The 33-year-old signed with Los Angeles last offseason to back up Matthew Stafford and will return in that role for the 2025 campaign. Garoppolo has thrown for 15,828 yards, 96 touchdowns, and 52 interceptions in 82 career games with the New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers, Las Vegas Raiders, and Rams. He appeared in one game last season, posting 334 passing yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. While Jimmy G won't see significant playing time barring a Stafford injury, he's worth stashing in deeper Superflex or two-QB formats. If Stafford has to miss any time next season, Garoppolo would be throwing to Puka Nacua and Davante Adams and could have low-end QB1 upside.

    From RotoBaller

Davon Godchaux Mar 10 1:00pm ET
    Davon Godchaux

The New Orleans Saints acquired defensive tackle Davon Godchaux from the New England Patriots on Monday in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick in 2026, sources tell NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Godchaux was a starter for four seasons in New England and will now head to the NFC South. He's a Plaquemine, Louisiana native and LSU product and will be heading home. The 30-year-old veteran has one year remaining on the two-year, $18 million extension he signed with the Patriots last offseason. More than anything, Godchaux brings durability in the trenches, as he hasn't missed a game since 2020. He also has 60-plus tackles on the interior defensive line in three of his last four seasons. The former fifth-rounder of the Miami Dolphins in 2017 will help shore up the Saints' run defense in new head coach Kellen Moore's first year running the team.

    From RotoBaller

Jaycee Horn Mar 10 12:50pm ET
    Jaycee Horn

The Carolina Panthers agreed with Pro Bowl cornerback Jaycee Horn on a four-year, $100 million deal ($25 million per year) on Monday to make him the new highest-paid defensive back in NFL history, sources tell NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Horn will receive $70 million guaranteed. The deal was negotiated by Trevon Smith and David Mulugheta. Injuries have been an issue for the 25-year-old cornerback since he was taken eighth overall in 2021 -- he's played in just 37 games in four seasons -- but the Panthers were sold after Horn had a career year in 2024. He started a career-high 15 games for the Panthers last season and compiled a career-high 68 tackles (49 solo), his first two sacks, five tackles for loss, an interception, and a career-high 13 pass breakups. If Horn can stay healthy again in 2025, he could be in the conversation for best corner in the league.

    From RotoBaller

Elijah Mitchell Mar 10 12:50pm ET
    Elijah Mitchell

The Kansas City Chiefs are signing free-agent running back Elijah Mitchell (hamstring) to a one-year deal worth up to $3.5 million on Monday, sources tell FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Mitchell, who was a sixth-round pick by the San Francisco 49ers in 2021 out of Louisiana, will now join the Chiefs backfield as depth behind Isiah Pacheco for the 2025 season. Barring another injury for the injury-plagued RB, he'll likely enter Week 1 this fall as the No. 2 behind Pacheco. Mitchell has averaged a healthy 4.7 yards per carry on 327 rushing attempts over his three seasons in the NFL, but he's only appeared in 27 games (12 starts) due to injury. He suffered a hamstring injury in training camp last year and was placed on season-ending Injured Reserve in August before the regular season even began. At best, Mitchell will be a deep-league handcuff option for those that have Pacheco rostered.

    From RotoBaller

Chris Godwin Mar 10 12:30pm ET
    Chris Godwin

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are re-signing wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) to a three-year deal worth $66 million on Monday, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Godwin will be guaranteed $44 million at signing. There were some whispers that the New England Patriots would make a play to snag Godwin, but the Bucs made sure that the 29-year-old never reached the open market. With Tee Higgins being franchise-tagged by the Cincinnati Bengals, Godwin was the next most attractive wideout in free agency at the receiver position. Godwin ended up playing in only seven games in 2024 due to a fractured ankle, but before that season-ending injury, he was on pace for career-best numbers with 50 receptions, 576 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 62 targets. Despite the presence of Mike Evans, Godwin should continue to have a big role in Tampa's passing attack in 2025 as long as he doesn't have any negative effects from his ankle injury.

    From RotoBaller

Haason Reddick Mar 10 12:30pm ET
    Haason Reddick

Defensive end Haason Reddick has agreed to a one-year deal worth $14 million, including $12 million guaranteed, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday, sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter. Reddick was involved with in a messy holdout situation with the New York Jets last year after being acquired in a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles, and he ended up playing in just 10 games (two starts) and had 14 tackles (nine solo), one sack and a forced fumble. The 30-year-old veteran pass-rusher skipped the entire offseason with the Jets and the first seven regular-season games, forfeiting $5.5 million of his $14.25 million base salary in 2024. The two-time Pro Bowler didn't look anything like the player who had 50.5 sacks the previous four seasons with the Eagles, Cardinals and Panthers. The Bucs will be hoping the former first-rounder will be able to bounce back in 2025 with the ugly situation with the Jets in the rearview mirror.

    From RotoBaller

Joey Bosa Mar 10 12:20pm ET
    Joey Bosa

Former NFL Defensive Player of the Year Khalil Mack reached an agreement on Monday on a one-year, fully guaranteed $18 million deal with the Los Angeles Chargers, sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter. After the Chargers released pass-rusher Joey Bosa last week, it was imperative that the Chargers retain linebacker Mack after he decided in the offseason that he would be returning for another season. The 34-year-old veteran, three-time first-team All-Pro and nine-time Pro Bowler wasn't quite as good as he was in 2024 as he was in 2023 when he had a career-best 17 sacks, but he was still productive. Mack finished with 39 tackles (20 solo), six sacks, six tackles for loss, 15 QB hits, nine pass breakups, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 16 regular-season starts. Mack will still be relevant in IDP fantasy leagues in what will likely be his final season, but the absence of Bosa will probably mean more double-teams.

    From RotoBaller

Najee Harris Mar 10 12:13pm ET
    Najee Harris

Dynasty | The Steelers have re-signed running back Jaylen Warren. Dynasty Analysis: The move will pay him a little over $5 million. He can still negotiate with other teams, but they'd have to send Pittsburgh a second round pick if they sign him, something that seems to be highly unlikely. Warren has always been productive, but never a true RB1 with the Steelers. Najee Harris is expected to leave in free agency, but it's hard to believe Pittsburgh will just hand the reigns over to Warren. As such, his dynasty value and ADP should remain pretty static.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Jaylen Warren Mar 10 12:10pm ET
    Jaylen Warren

The Pittsburgh Steelers placed the second-round restricted tender on restricted free-agent running back Jaylen Warren on Monday, according to his agents. The tender is worth $5.346 million. Although technically not official yet, placing the second-round tender pretty much guarantees that the 26-year-old will be back in Pittsburgh in 2025. Fellow backfield mate Najee Harris is an unrestricted free agent this week and has a good chance of not returning, which would make Warren much more attractive in fantasy next season, depending on what other moves the Steelers make at the position in free agency or the draft. Any team that wants to sign Warren now would have to offer up second-round draft compensation. Although Harris had another 1,000-yard season in 2024, Warren has looked better than him at times the last two years and has averaged a healthy 4.8 yards per carry in his three NFL seasons.

    From RotoBaller

Evan Engram Mar 10 10:40am ET
    Evan Engram

Free-agent tight end Evan Engram is visiting with the Denver Broncos on Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The 30-year-old was recently released by the Jacksonville Jaguars after two seasons with the organization and is free to sign with a new team before the new league year begins on March 12. Engram had the best season of his career in 2023, catching 114 passes for 963 yards and four touchdowns in 17 games. The former first-round pick by the New York Giants in 2017 was limited to just nine games in 2024 and caught 47 passes for 365 yards and one score. Head coach Sean Payton has lacked a game-changing tight end since he arrived in Denver, so this could be a perfect match as the team looks to upgrade its pass-catching weapons for rising quarterback Bo Nix.

    From RotoBaller

Mac Jones Mar 10 10:30am ET
    Mac Jones

The Tennessee Titans are interested in free-agent quarterbacks Zach Wilson and Mac Jones, according to Titans beat reporter Buck Reising. Tennessee is likely in search of a new starting quarterback after former second-round pick Will Levis posted a 2-10 record in 2024 behind 2,091 passing yards, 13 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. Wilson and Jones were both first-round picks in the 2021 NFL Draft and lasted just three seasons with the New York Jets and New England Patriots, respectively. The Titans could be looking to add competition to its quarterback room to pair with Levis, but there's also a chance the team will pick Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

    From RotoBaller

    D.K. Metcalf Mar 10 9:03am ET
    D.K. Metcalf

Dynasty | The Seahawks have traded wide receiver DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dynasty Analysis: The Seahawks get a second round pick in exchange (there's also a late pick swap involved). Metcalf gets a five-year, $150 million contract as part of the deal and will now make Pittsburgh his new home. The contract makes him the third highest paid receiver in the league in terms of annual contract average. It's fair to wonder just what kind of dynasty value he's going to have as we honestly have no idea who is going to be throwing him the ball. It could be Russell Wilson, Justin Fields, or a whole host of other players. The money alone is going to make Metcalf Pittsburgh's top option over George Pickens, however.
