Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel said that tight end Darren Waller (hip) will practice this week and is expected to make his debut with the team next Monday night in Week 4 against the division-rival New York Jets, according to The Palm Beach Post's Hal Habib. If Waller is officially active against the Jets for the first time this year, as expected, he will be on a snap count. "Yes, it's probably more situational. I wouldn't go to all these lengths, have this buildup, and throw him out there for 60 (snaps). I kind of have an idea what it is," McDaniel said. The 33-year-old came out of retirement to join the Dolphins this year, so it's not really a surprise he'll be limited in his first real game action in over a year. Waller should give Miami's struggling offense a boost, but he should not be in any starting fantasy lineups in Week 4. For now, Waller is merely a bench stash for TE depth in deeper leagues.

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones had another efficient and turnover-free performance in Sunday's 41-20 blowout win over the hosting Tennessee Titans in Week 4, throwing for 228 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions on 18-for-25 passing. Don't look now, but through the first three weeks in 2025, Jones is the QB3 in fantasy with 816 passing yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions. He has added 55 rushing yards and three scores on 17 carries. Only Josh Allen and Caleb Williams have had more fantasy points. The Colts' strong ground game, led by running back Jonathan Taylor, has certainly helped Jones' cause. Jones probably won't finish as a top-five fantasy QB when it's all said and done, but he's at least a strong QB2 option and occasional streamer in the right matchups. Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams won't be an ideal matchup to use him.

Cincinnati Bengals running back Samaje Perine (thumb), who left the Week 3 loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday with a thumb injury, avoided a serious injury and has not been ruled out for next Monday night's matchup against the Denver Broncos, a source told Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. An MRI exam ruled out significant damage to Perine's thumb. The 30-year-old veteran could play against his former team, the Broncos, but he won't be anywhere near the fantasy radar if he does. Perine saw his first rushing work of the season in Sunday's 48-10 blowout loss in Minnesota, carrying the ball four times for 21 yards before getting hurt. He will continue to handle a change-of-pace role behind starter Chase Brown if he's active, but it's unlikely to result in much volume or production, especially with backup quarterback Jake Browning now running Cincy's offense.

Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (ankle) could miss three to four weeks after suffering a high-ankle sprain in the Week 3 blowout loss to the Chicago Bears, a source told Todd Archer of ESPN. Players can miss up to four to six weeks with high-ankle sprains, but the Cowboys are saying Lamb's sprain is a mild high-ankle sprain. The 26-year-old said after Sunday's game that he'd be fine for Week 4 against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night, but that's unlikely to be the case. Fantasy managers should be planning on being without Lamb for at least a couple of games. In the meantime, quarterback Dak Prescott will have to rely more on wideouts George Pickens, Jalen Tolbert, and KaVontae Turpin, as well as tight end Jake Ferguson, who was targeted a whopping 14 times against Chicago. Ferguson should be considered a must-start TE1 in fantasy while Lamb is out.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol after suffering a head injury in the Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Pierce suffered the injury while coming down hard on a catch deep down the field in the blowout victory over Tennessee. Before leaving, the 25-year-old pass-catcher caught four of his five targets for 67 yards. He is now up in the air to be ready to play on Sunday in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams, and fantasy managers will have to check his practice statuses, beginning on Wednesday. Through three weeks, Pierce ranks third in Indy with 171 receiving yards, behind rookie tight end Tyler Warren and receiver Michael Pittman Jr. If Pierce is unable to play in Week 4, Josh Downs will be a much more attractive WR4/flex in fantasy lineups as the Colts look to remain undefeated.

When asked by reporters about a potential quarterback change after the New York Giants' 22-9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night in Week 3 to drop them to 0-3, head coach Brian Daboll said, "We're evaluating everything." Wilson threw for 400-plus yards in a shootout loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2, but he came crashing back down to Earth against a good KC defense, throwing for 160 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions in a 22-9 loss. Rookie first-rounder Jaxson Dart has come in for a couple of plays the last two weeks, but he has yet to attempt a pass. It's unclear if the G-Men are serious about benching Wilson and starting Dart in Week 4 against a tough Los Angeles Chargers defense, but it's clear that Dart's starting debut is coming sooner than later. Dart should be scooped up now if he's available in two-QB superflex leagues.

Dynasty | Jets quarterback Tyrod Taylor completed 26-of-36 passes for 197 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in a loss to the Bucs. Dynasty Analysis: He added 48 rushing yards to lead the team. Down 23-6 heading into the 4th quarter, Taylor helped lead the team to a near upset of the Bucs but Baker Mayfield would have none of it. Taylor sparked the offense at times and again did what he has in the past - made some great plays and some awful ones. The Jets are now 0-3 with a season on the brink and Taylor may end up getting the nod in the next game, which would be a terrible indictment on Justin Fields and his future in the league. Stay tuned.

Dynasty | Bucs rookie wide receiver Emeka Egbuka had six catches for 85 yards in a win against the Jets. Dynasty Analysis: That makes 14 catches for 181 yards and three scores in three games for Egbuka. So much for the notion he landed on the wrong team, eh? Egbuka has made play after play early on this season and while things could prove to be tougher when both Chris Godwin and Mike Evans are back, he's looking like the real deal and still climbing the rookie ranks.

Dynasty | Commanders running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt had 26 rushing yards and a touchdown in a win against the Raiders. Dynasty Analysis: He added one catch for five yards. This was one of the more disappointing stat lines of the day as it was Chris Rodriguez (11 carries) who led the team in rushing attempts and yards on the day. With Austin Ekeler out for the season, it appears the Commanders are truly going to a three-headed monster with Rodriguez, Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols (who busted a 60-yard touchdown). This looks like worst-case scenario in fantasy and while it works in reality, Croskey-Merritt's status as a rookie sleeper took a big hit on Sunday.

Dallas Cowboys All-Pro receiver CeeDee Lamb (ankle) suffered a high-ankle sprain early in his team's loss to the Bears on Sunday, and he is unlikely to suit up for the Cowboys' next game against the Packers in Week 4 on Sunday Night Football. The team plans to monitor his status over the next 10-14 days before determining his long-term status. Lamb left the game in the first quarter and attempted to return with a taped ankle, but managed only one additional snap before shutting it down for the rest of the game. The main benefactor of Lamb's absence was tight end Jake Ferguson, who made 13 grabs on 14 targets. Ferguson becomes a must-start, and WR George Pickens, who caught a touchdown in his second straight game, will likely become a focal point of the Cowboys' offense for as long as Lamb is sidelined.

Carolina Panthers tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle, foot) is awaiting the results of an MRI after exiting Sunday's win over the Falcons, but initial X-rays are believed to be encouraging. Sanders caught both of his targets for 11 yards in a game that the Panthers won handily, but he was spotted after the game in a walking boot. In his second season, Sanders has been the team's top tight end, and he saw a career high of nine targets for seven receptions in Week 2. The hope in Carolina is that he won't be sidelined for long. A hope shared by fantasy managers, as he was playing himself into every week streaming status at a position with very few reliable starters.

Dynasty | Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence completed just 20-of-40 passes for 222 yards with no touchdowns and an interception in a win against Houston. Dynasty Analysis: The Jaguars are 2-1 but little of that has to do with Lawrence, who now has completed just 55.8% of his passes for 671 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions on the season. He has clearly been the victim of poor coaching over the years and the lack of continuity is certainly a factor in his lack of development. Still, Lawrence is proving with each passing week that there really is no "sure thing" when it comes to drafting quarterbacks in the NFL. The breakout many hoped for just looks like it's not going to happen and Lawrence looks like a QB2 at the moment.

Dynasty | Jaguars receiver Travis Hunter caught one pass for 21 yards in a win against Houston. Dynasty Analysis: Through three games, Hunter now has just ten catches for 76 scoreless yards. He's added nine tackles on defense. For what was supposed to be a transcendent talent coming into the league, Hunter has been largely a disappointment thus far. He's certainly been passed up in rookie rankings by both Tetairoa McMillan and Emeka Egbuka and there are other receivers like Tory Horton who could be making a run at him soon enough as well. Hunter needs to show more soon to justify the hype and his dynasty value is starting to suffer.

Dynasty | Falcons quarterback Michael Penix completed just 18-of-36 passes for 172 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions in an ugly loss to the Panthers. Dynasty Analysis: The Falcons were 3.5 point favorites and lost the game by 30. Penix is going to need to own this one as he simply wasn't good enough for the Falcons to compete. He was replaced in the fourth quarter by Kirk Cousins after failing to generate much of anything. In fact, his only scoring drive came on a pick six he threw to the other team. With just one touchdown pass and three interceptions in three games and with a completion percentage of just 58.6%, Penix has to improve quickly to prove he's the quarterback of the present, not even the future. His value is slipping.

Dynasty | Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan caught three passes for 48 yards in a win against the Falcons. Dynasty Analysis: The line is modest but that's really because the Panthers pretty much obliterated the Falcons and Bryce Young only needed to attempt 24 passes on the day. It was a stunning turn of events and one that didn't help McMillan's numbers much. He'll look to bounce back next week but he's proven to be more than worth the top-five pick anyone spent on him this off-season.

Dynasty | Eagles running back Saquon Barkley had 46 rushing yards, four catches and nine receiving yards in a win against the Rams. Dynasty Analysis: The entire Eagles offense has been stuck in mud outside of their one half this week when they came back to inexplicably beat the Rams. Barkley himself has had little room to run and failed to break a big run again this week. In fact, Barkley now has just 194 rushing yards on 3.3 yards per carry this season. He's also averaging just 64.7 yards per game, a far cry from the 125 he averaged last year. The line isn't blocking, Barkley isn't making many people miss, and this needs to be fixed quickly or his ADP is going to fall rapidly.

Chicago Bears rookie first-round tight end Colston Loveland's hip injury is not believed to be serious, and he's expected to have a chance to play in Week 4 against the Las Vegas Raiders, a source tells Adam Schefter of ESPN. Loveland had his best game of the year in the 31-14 blowout win over the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday before injuring his hip, catching one of his three targets for a 31-yard gain. In the first two games of his rookie campaign, the 21-year-old had only two grabs on three targets for 12 yards. He has plenty of downfield playmaking ability, but so far, Chicago hasn't gotten him involved. Loveland will have a shot to play in Week 4 if he's able to practice, but he'll strictly be a TE2 with upside for fantasy managers if he's able to play. If Loveland cannot play against Vegas, Cole Kmet would be a TE streaming option. Kmet scored his first touchdown of the year on his only catch on Sunday.

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton said the team is not worried about quarterback Bo Nix's slow start to the season or him missing some deep passes in the Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, according to Zac Stevens of DNVR. "The conversations relative to the 'Q' would not be about the deep balls... A lots been made about the two long balls. I'll be honest with you, driving in this morning, that would be 50th on my to-do list item," Payton said. After an impressive rookie year, Nix has been quiet through three weeks in 2025, going 61-for-95 passing for 535 yards, five touchdowns, and three interceptions. The good news is he was turnover-free for the first time in Week 3 and also added a season-high 33 rushing yards on eight attempts. Fantasy managers have to remember he's still a work in progress in his second year. A Week 4 date against Cincy's defense could get him right.

Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert faced his biggest challenge yet in Week 3 and delivered. He completed 28 of 47 passes for 300 yards, one touchdown, and his first interception of the season in the team's last-second 23-20 win over the Denver Broncos. Herbert played fearlessly, extending plays with his legs and connecting with Keenan Allen on a highlight-reel throw for a late fourth-quarter touchdown. He confidently led the Chargers downfield in the final minute, setting up Cameron Dicker's game-winning field goal. Next, they face the 0-3 Giants, who have a strong front four but a vulnerable secondary. With the run game finally opening up, Herbert has a balanced offense around him and plenty of weapons to look to. Fantasy managers should consider him a locked-in top-five QB moving forward.

Egbuka was the talk of training camp this summer, and he's carried it over into the first regular-season games of his NFL career, catching 14 of his 21 targets for 181 yards and three touchdowns as the WR2 with Chris Godwin (ankle) still out. The Ohio State product had three touchdowns in his first two games and then set season highs in catches (six), targets (eight), and receiving yards (85) in the Week 3 win over the New York Jets on Sunday. Egbuka will have more competition for targets when Godwin returns (possibly in Week 4), but the rookie will remain a big part of the passing attack all year long. He has quickly become a must-start in all fantasy leagues.
