Through five games, he's caught just five passes and played only 26% of the team's offensive snaps, ranking sixth among Texans wide receivers. Both Noel and fellow rookie Jayden Higgins saw season-high snap counts in Week 5, largely due to the blowout nature of the game that allowed Houston to rest their starters. With Christian Kirk's return solidifying the top of the depth chart along with Nico Collins, Noel's playing time and target share are unlikely to increase in the near future. He's a developmental piece for the future, but for now, he remains off the fantasy radar.

Kansas City Chiefs rookie wide receiver Jalen Royals missed the first two games of the 2025 season with a knee injury. He's been active in each of the team's last three games, but Royals has not yet been targeted by Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes. The 22-year-old appears buried on Kansas City's wide receiver depth chart behind Xavier Worthy, Marquise Brown, Tyquan Thornton, and JuJu Smith-Schuster. Royals could fall down the depth chart even further in Week 7 when top Chiefs wideout Rashee Rice is eligible to return from suspension. Royals maintains some appeal in dynasty leagues, but he should remain off the radar of redraft fantasy managers for the time being.

Denver Broncos tight end Evan Engram has been off to a slow start in his first season under Sean Payton. Through four games, the veteran has caught 12 of 19 targets for 95 yards and a touchdown, ranking as the TE27 on a per-game basis. Despite optimism that Payton's system would unlock Engram's athleticism, he's yet to play more than 50% of the offensive snaps in any game this season. Even in Week 5, when Engram finally scored his first touchdown in Denver, his role remained limited. He played just 41% of the snaps, with Adam Trautman (40%) and Nate Adkins (37%) both involved in the rotation. The lack of a clear lead role in this tight end committee has capped Engram's production and fantasy appeal. Until his usage meaningfully increases or the depth chart thins out, Engram remains an afterthought in fantasy lineups and should stay on waivers in most leagues.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings could be in for a significant workload in Week 6, assuming he's healthy enough to play. Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Travis Hunter could start to see more downfield opportunities after flashing big-play ability in Week 5's 31-28 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson could be in line for an increased workload moving forward. ESPN senior NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler reported on Wednesday that Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton (hamstring) is not expected to play Thursday vs. the Eagles, per sources. Slayton suffered a hamstring injury in the Giants' Week 5 loss to the New Orleans Saints, and with the short turnaround time for Thursday night, it appears he will not be expected to play after missing practice both Monday and Tuesday. With Slayton not expected to play, Wan'Dale Robinson becomes the clear WR1 for the Giants in a game where they will be expected to throw quite a bit, as they are currently seven-point underdogs according to most sportsbooks. Jalin Hyatt, Beaux Collins, and Lil'Jordan Humphrey are the likely candidates to replace Slayton in the lineup, with Theo Johnson and Robinson becoming Jaxson Dart's go-to targets.

New York Jets wide receiver Allen Lazard (personal) is out for the game in Week 6, as he didn't make the trip to England, where the Jets take on the Denver Broncos. Lazard is dealing with an unspecified personal issue, and Arian Smith and Tyler Johnson could see an uptick in snaps and targets as a result. Garrett Wilson and Mason Taylor remain quarterback Justin Fields' go-to targets in the pass game and should continue to be precisely that with Lazard out. Lazard has struggled to find his groove in 2025, seeing only six targets through four games, which have translated to only 24 yards and one touchdown. Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson's (hamstring) status for Week 6 is "in doubt," according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. Jackson injured his hamstring in Week 4 against the Kansas City Chiefs and subsequently missed Week 5 at home against the Houston Texans. His status for Week 6 was initially questionable but is now reported as doubtful. Cooper Rush has stepped in as the team's quarterback and will presumably continue to take the snaps against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6. Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs takes on the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, and coming off a bye in Week 5, he should rank as a top-five running back for Week 6, as the Bengals give up the most running points to the running back position so far in 2025. The Packers' offensive line has been plagued by injuries, missing four starters throughout the first four weeks, which is likely the leading cause of his poor 3.33 YPC so far in 2025. Regardless, he is getting elite RB1 volume, with 80 carries, 10 receptions, and four touchdowns through four games played. Jacobs also does not have much competition in the backfield for touches, which makes him a high-end RB1, especially in good matchups like Week 6. Additionally, according to sportsbooks, the Packers are 14.5-point favorites, which should bode well for Jacobs to get some additional carries if they are playing from the lead.

Dynasty | The Jaguars have placed tight end Brenton Strange on injured reserve. Dynasty Analysis: Strange is dealing with a hip injury that's now going to keep him out for at least a month. Poised for a breakout this year, Strange has posted a 20/204/0 line so far and been a bit of a disappointment. Hunter Long looks to be the beneficiary of his absence and could be a good pickup this week. Strange's ADP is likely to go down a touch with his rough start to 2025.

Los Angeles Chargers second-year running back out of Troy University, Kimani Vidal, is expected to step up in Week 6 after Omarion Hampton (ankle) was placed on injured reserve over the past week, and (Vidal) offers flex appeal as the Chargers travel to Miami to take on the Dolphins, who rank in the bottom five against opposing running backs in fantasy football. Vidal will likely be in a timeshare with fourth-year running back Hassan Haskins, who played at Michigan, where head coach Jim Harbaugh coached. Reports have yet to suggest that either running back will get the full workload, but based on past usage, Vidal is the younger, more pass-catching, third-down back, while Haskins should see carries on early downs. With how pass-happy the Chargers have been in 2025, throwing 62.58% of the time, in PPR leagues, Vidal should see four to six targets in the pass game, along with five to 10 carries, offering him some flex appeal in Week 6.

Dynasty | Nyheim Hines has signed on with the Chargers practice squad. Dynasty Analysis: If this is the biggest move the Chargers make, it bodes well for the likes of Hassan Haskins and Kimani Vidal. It seemed inevitable the Chargers would sign someone after the losses of both Najee Harris and Omarion Hampton but Hines isn't much of a threat to this duo. Hines would be worth a roster spot should he be elevated to the active roster but he'd also likely clog a roster a bit as his ceiling is likely as a third down or receiving back. In the end, this is bigger news for Haskins and Vidal than Hines.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has firmly established himself as a set-and-forget in fantasy football, which means that fantasy managers can confidently start him in all games without worrying about a potentially difficult matchup. Nacua has certainly shown that he can produce against any team, including the San Francisco 49ers, on whom he dropped 10 catches, 85 yards, and a touchdown last week. He remains the overall No. 1 receiver in fantasy football and is only trending upward as the season goes on. He's one of the steals of this year's fantasy drafts, as Nacua's production has league-winning potential even at his high ADP from the past summer.

Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams has continued to produce despite being second in the pecking order on his own team. The veteran receiver has 357 yards and three touchdowns this year, making him a high-end WR2 for week-by-week fantasy lineups. While Puka Nacua has earned the bulk of the attention in Los Angeles, Adams has made a significant impact, too, and his productivity so far should not be overlooked or taken for granted. The 32-year-old represents a safe, dependable WR2 or high-end flex option heading into Week 6 against the Baltimore Ravens.

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson continues to make a push for more opportunities within the offense, but he hasn't seen much change in his fantasy value after five weeks of the NFL season. The Patriots continue to lean on Rhamondre Stevenson a little more than Henderson, even after the former lost three fumbles in three games. Stevenson touched the ball nine times on Sunday and was set up for two easy touchdowns despite averaging just two yards per carry. On the other hand, Henderson had eight touches and averaged four yards per carry, but still played less than half of the offensive snaps. He'll need to carve out a much larger snap share or start getting involved as a primary target for Drake Maye in the passing game before he becomes a worthwhile fantasy starter. In the meantime, he should be stashed on the bench.

New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson continued to serve as the team's lead back despite losing a fumble on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. He now has three lost fumbles in three games. Despite his ball security issues and inefficiency (he averaged 2.0 yards per carry in Week 5), Stevenson continues to see the field for more than half of the offensive snaps. New England's coaching staff has shown no interest in making a change to the backfield, with head coach Mike Vrabel even noting before Week 5 that they stuck with Drake Maye through some turnover adversity, and they're going to have Stevenson's back, too. We'd all like to see him get back to his 2022 form, but the fact of the matter is that rookie TreVeyon Henderson has looked better than Stevenson and therefore seems more deserving of the lead-back role. We could see a shift in dynamic by the end of the year, but for now, the Patriots are sticking with the 27-year-old.

New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs made an enormous impression with his 10 catches and 146 yards on Sunday Night Football. The veteran receiver was able to get revenge on his old team, the Buffalo Bills, while turning in the best game yet with his new team. The 31-year-old has been everything the Patriots could have asked for (and more), making a variety of toe-drag plays and catches while being covered by a defender. He has 16 catches and 247 yards over his last two games, putting him firmly in the mid-range WR2 mix for Week 6 against the New Orleans Saints.

Seattle Seahawks rookie quarterback Jalen Milroe entered the game in Week 5 against the Buccaneers for a speed option play, but he tossed it just a tad behind running back Kenneth Walker, leading to a fumble. It was an unfortunate result for the rookie from Alabama, as it wasn't the best play design, and it's not the easiest ask for him to come off the bench cold and be ready for the speed of NFL defenses. It was a costly fumble for Seattle, as they were driving in Tampa Bay territory and ultimately lost by a field goal. It's possible that this, combined with how well Sam Darnold has done, leads to fewer of these plays moving forward. Milroe is still a very good asset to own in dynasty, but he won't be an option in redraft, barring injury.
