Dalton Schultz Nov 2 12:00am CT
    Dalton Schultz

Houston Texans tight end Dalton Schultz (knee, shoulder) is expected to play this Sunday when his team squares off against the visiting Denver Broncos. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported the news. Schultz has been battling a shoulder ailment for a few weeks now, but his knee injury was new, as he dealt with a back issue the week prior. The eighth-year pro started the week off with two DNPs before upgrading his practice status to full on Friday, and looks to be trending positively ahead of a matchup with a staunch Broncos defense. If the Texans decide to scale back Schultz's snaps, fellow tight end Harrison Bryant would be the most likely candidate for an increased workload. The veteran is a back-end TE2 for Sunday's outing with Denver.

Rashid Shaheed Nov 1 11:50pm CT
    Rashid Shaheed

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that New Orleans Saints wide receiver Rashid Shaheed (hip) is expected to play in Week 9's matchup with the Los Angeles Rams, despite being deemed questionable with a hip injury. The 27-year-old practiced in a limited capacity all week and is projected to be out there for rookie quarterback Tyler Shough's NFL debut. Shaheed is coming off one of his more productive outings of the campaign, nabbing a career-high nine passes in the Saints' losing effort to the Buccaneers. As of now, it's unclear in what capacity he'll play, though the team sure could use him against a Rams defensive unit that's yielded the third-fewest points per game through eight weeks (16.7). He'll be a low-end flex option for this weekend's slate of action.

Alvin Kamara Nov 1 11:30pm CT
    Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (ankle), who is questionable for Sunday's road clash with the Los Angeles Rams, is expected to play, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Kamara has been on the team's injury report since Week 6 while he battles an ankle ailment, logging a full practice session just once in that time frame. Despite the issue, he's yet to miss an appearance and is projected to be out there again when New Orleans takes on the hosting Rams. Kamara and the Saints' offense have had a rough go all season, though it's worth mentioning he's eclipsed 30 rushing yards just once since Week 5. If he plays, fantasy managers can expect the University of Tennessee alum to be out there for his usual allotment of snaps, with backfield mate Devin Neal spelling him on occasion. He's a fringey RB2/3 with the extra variable of a new starting quarterback in rookie Tyler Shough.

Travis Hunter Nov 1 11:20pm CT
    Travis Hunter

According to The Athletic's Michael Silver, Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter (knee) is not thought to have suffered long-term damage to his knee after picking up an injury at practice on Thursday. Hunter was the victim of a non-contact injury late in the week. Although reports state his ACL remains intact, the Jags wasted no time sending him to IR. It's hapless timing for the rookie, who was coming off his best performance as a pro. Fortunately, the team doesn't seem too concerned about his ailment, though Silver noted that they have no intention of rushing him back. Either way, Hunter will miss at least the next four contests. While he's sidelined, fantasy managers can expect teammates Parker Washington and Dyami Brown to pick up most of the slack behind the corps' leader, Brian Thomas Jr.

Kendrick Bourne Nov 1 11:12pm CT
    Kendrick Bourne

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne will get another shot at starting when the team clashes with the New York Giants in Week 9. Ricky Pearsall (knee) will miss his fifth straight game, allowing Bourne to stand in again. Mac Jones (knee), with whom Bourne has demonstrated a solid rapport, will get his seventh start on Sunday, in place of Brock Purdy (toe), who is listed as questionable. The Giants have given up the most yards and third-most receptions to opposing wide receivers, but fantasy football managers will have to think twice before plugging Bourne into lineups. With Jauan Jennings' (ankle, ribs, shoulder) health improving and George Kittle back from injured reserve, Bourne's target share over the last two weeks sits at 11%. Bourne is projected as a borderline WR4/5 in Week 9, and deserves consideration only in deeper leagues.

Gabriel Davis Nov 1 11:12pm CT
    Gabriel Davis

Buffalo Bills WR Gabe Davis (knee) had inflammation in his knee following practice Thursday, Oct. 30, according to head coach Sean McDermott. 'We'll see where he goes from there,' McDermott said.

Jakobi Meyers Nov 1 9:20pm CT
    Jakobi Meyers

According to Dianna Russini of The Athletic, the Las Vegas Raiders have "set a high price" on wide receiver Jakobi Meyers. It's no secret that the wideout wants to be traded. As expected, several teams have inquired about his availability in the trade market, with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Buffalo Bills seemingly the clubs with the most interest. It's unknown exactly what the Raiders are looking for in return. However, it appears there's still a chance he could be moved before the trade deadline. Meyers was targeted 22 times in the first two games of the 2025 campaign. Since then, he's seen 23 targets in his last four appearances while missing the Week 7 meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs. All things considered, Meyers may actually benefit from a change of scenery, considering Geno Smith has struggled.

    From RotoBaller

Trey Benson Nov 1 9:00pm CT
    Trey Benson

According to Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon, running back Trey Benson (knee) has been attending team meetings to "get his mind back on football." The 23-year-old suffered a torn meniscus in the Week 4 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. As a result, he underwent surgery and was placed on the Injured Reserve list. Benson had moved to the No. 1 spot on the depth chart after James Conner (Achilles) was ruled out for the remainder of the 2025 campaign. In four appearances, he ran for 160 yards off 29 carries, adding 13 grabs (16 targets) for 64 yards. It appears he's inching closer toward a return. For now, the 2024 No. 66 overall pick will remain on the IR, with Bam Knight expected to handle the majority of the touches out of the backfield. It's unknown if Benson will reclaim his place atop the depth chart immediately upon his return. With that said, Benson is worth stashing on fantasy rosters, although it may not be wise to start him until it's clear he's ready for a full workload. The Cardinals will face the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night before turning their attention to the Seahawks in Week 10.

Jaylen Waddle Nov 1 8:40pm CT
    Jaylen Waddle

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, a trade involving Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jaylen Waddle is "highly unlikely." There have been reports that the Dolphins would consider moving him. However, Schefter added, citing a "well-placed source," dealing the wideout isn't anticipated for a "variety" of reasons, including Miami seeking "a 1-plus" in exchange. With the Fins potentially looking at a rebuild, it's possible the 26-year-old could be on the move after this season. For now, it seems he'll at least finish out the year in South Beach. Waddle, selected No. 6 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, began his career by surpassing the 1,000-yard receiving mark in three-straight seasons. While Waddle took a step backward in 2024, he's been a top fantasy option throughout the 2025 campaign, amassing 41 catches (59 targets) for 586 yards and four touchdowns.

    From RotoBaller

Zay Jones Nov 1 7:50pm CT
    Zay Jones

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Zay Jones was cleared from the injury report, but it may not matter in terms of whether or not he's startable in most fantasy leagues. While he has looked better in their last two games with Jacoby Brisset under center, Jones is currently the WR95 on the year, and until those last two games, he didn't register a finish above WR61 in half-PPR formats. One thing going for him is that the Dallas Cowboys give up the most fantasy points per game to opposing receiving corps, and Brissett is starting at least one more time. With that being said, Jones is not a trustworthy start for anyone that's not in a very deep league.

    From RotoBaller

Chad Ryland Nov 1 7:50pm CT
    Chad Ryland

Arizona Cardinals kicker Chad Ryland has bounced all around the fantasy kicker leaderboards this season, which makes sense given how inconsistent this offense can be. In Week 7, he finished as the K5, which was his highest finish since Week 4. Now, after their bye, the Cardinals are set to take on the Dallas Cowboys, who have given up far too many points to almost every team they've faced. That also makes them the 20th-ranked team against opposing kickers, allowing 8.75 fantasy points per matchup. Since Jacoby Brissett has been a bit more successful at moving the ball down the field, Ryland could be in for another solid week, and that makes him a startable option again for those looking for a bye week fill-in.

    From RotoBaller

Zach Wilson Nov 1 7:40pm CT
    Zach Wilson

According to NFL Media's Ian Rapoport, it's possible Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa could be benched at some point this season. Although Rapoport added Tagovailoa's "play would have to really fall" off for head coach Mike McDaniel to consider a swap, it appears "a potential benching isn't off the table." There are many calling for the signal-caller to be removed from his spot atop the depth chart. If that's the case, the Dolphins might turn to Zach Wilson. The 26-year-old, selected No. 2 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, has been far from a reliable fantasy quarterback. In 36 regular-season contests, he's thrown for 6,325 yards, 23 touchdowns, and 25 interceptions while completing a miserable 57.1% of his attempts. For now, Wilson doesn't have much value for redraft participants. That may not change even if he takes over for Tagovailoa. On the other hand, Wilson can be stashed in deep Superflex dynasty formats, especially in leagues where quarterbacks are hard to come by. It's worth noting that Rapoport indicated that rookie Quinn Ewers would also be considered as a replacement for Tagovailoa as well as the Dolphins potentially making a trade.

    From RotoBaller

Michael Wilson Nov 1 7:40pm CT
    Michael Wilson

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson has been quite the disappointment so far this season. Through seven games, he still has yet to crack double-digit fantasy points in PPR leagues and hasn't broken into the top 40 either. Even though he has seen nine targets in the two games that Jacoby Brissett has started, that's turned into a total of 84 yards and no visits to the end zone. The Dallas Cowboys, in Week 9, present one of the easiest matchups for the Cardinals' passing game, but Wilson still doesn't project higher than WR60. Fantasy managers should be able to find better options on the waiver wire unless it's a deeper league. In that case, godspeed.

    From RotoBaller

Alvin Kamara Nov 1 7:33pm CT
    Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints RB Alvin Kamara has failed to reach 40 rushing yards in each of the last four games, which is tied for the longest streak of his career.

Fantasy Spin: Kamara's previous stretch came back in 2017 when he was a rookie, and in addition to struggling to find running room, Kamara has reached 30 receiving yards just once in eight games this season. Throw in an ankle injury, and Kamara is best viewed as a volume-based flex option in Week 9.

    From TheHuddle

Trey McBride Nov 1 7:30pm CT
    Trey McBride

Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride continues to be a set-it-and-forget-it type of player as he enters Week 9 as the overall TE4. In his last game before their Week 8 bye, McBride posted a huge game with 10 catches for 74 yards and two touchdowns. Whether it's Kyler Murray (foot) or Jacoby Brissett under center, he remains the number-one pass-catching option. In Week 9, he takes on the Dallas Cowboys, who are ranked 12th against the position and have only allowed two touchdowns. This is also the only part of the defense that's ranked better than 30th, so there should be room for McBride to get open. Fantasy managers should continue to roll with McBride as long as he's on the field.

    From RotoBaller

Michael Carter Nov 1 7:30pm CT
    Michael Carter

Arizona Cardinals running back Michael Carter has rejoined the team and looks to split most of the carries with Bam Knight again. In their last two games before the bye, Carter saw 20 touches compared to Knight's 29, so he should still see some action even though Emari Demercado has been cleared from the injury report. Especially after it was reported that he was getting first-team reps in the last two days of practice. Despite the three-headed committee in the backfield, Carter gives some low-end flex value since the Dallas Cowboys allow the second-most fantasy points to opposing backfields. Plus, he usually tends to see more work on passing plays than Knight.

    From RotoBaller

Marvin Harrison Jr. Nov 1 7:20pm CT
    Marvin Harrison Jr.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. has had a tumultuous season so far, which is on par with how his rookie year went as well. The former Buckeye put up a WR38 performance in Week 7 before their bye, which was noticeably better than his week prior. Working in his favor this week is that the Dallas Cowboys are the worst-ranked defense against opposing receivers. They give an average of 41.49 fantasy points per matchup to the position and have given up a total of 96 receptions for 1,378 yards and 15 touchdowns. With Jacoby Brissett on the field, Harrison profiles as a mid-level WR2.

    From RotoBaller

Jacoby Brissett Nov 1 7:00pm CT
    Jacoby Brissett

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Jacoby Brissett is set to start another game, and he draws a favorable matchup. The veteran QB has started the last two games and amassed 599 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception while throwing 52-for-80 and 9 carries for 45 yards in that time. Despite going 0-2, Brissett has looked better than Kyler Murray this season and has a 97.7 passer rating compared to Murray's 88.6. In their Week 9 matchup, the Dallas Cowboys give up the most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks at 24.93 per game and have allowed 20 passing touchdowns compared to just four interceptions. With the receiving corps ready to play, Brissett comes in as a high-end QB2 and could be a solid streaming option for fantasy managers needing a fill-in.

Jaelan Phillips Nov 1 7:00pm CT
    Jaelan Phillips

According to NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe, the Philadelphia Eagles are one of the teams mentioned that are interested in trading for Miami Dolphins linebacker Jaelan Phillips. Wolfe indicated previously that the Fins have "been hesitant" about a potential trade involving the 26-year-old. However, with the Dolphins not expected to do much throughout the remainder of the 2025 campaign, it appears the team may be looking toward bolstering the roster in the years ahead. The Eagles have had trouble getting after opposing quarterbacks this season. Still, while Philadelphia could benefit significantly from such an acquisition, it's unknown what Miami is seeking in return. Phillips has spent his entire career with the Dolphins since entering the National Football League in 2021, totaling 177 tackles, 26 sacks, three fumble recoveries, and one interception.

    From RotoBaller

Zonovan Knight Nov 1 7:00pm CT
    Zonovan Knight

Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight was named the starter for their Week 9 contest against the Dallas Cowboys, which gives him a juicy matchup to work with. The third-year pro has been upping his yards per carry in each appearance this season and finished Week 7 with his best game yet before the bye. Fortunately for Knight and fantasy managers with him on their roster, he takes on a defense that's ranked 31st against opposing backfields this season. The Cowboys are allowing 28.36 fantasy points per game to the position, and Emari Demercado doesn't seem like much of a threat to take away too many carries. Knight is projected as a low-end RB2 in this matchup, which makes him startable in most leagues.
