Myles Garrett Mar 7 10:30am ET
    Myles Garrett

Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett is prepared to miss games if he's not traded this offseason. Garrett has expressed his desire to be moved, but met with resistance from ownership. The superstar pass rusher reportedly asked for a meeting with owner Jimmy Haslam, but Haslam declined to speak with Garrett. At this point, a split between the two sides seems like the most likely outcome. Garrett wants to play for a contender and a new hefty contract extension probably won't be enough for Garrett to want to stay in Cleveland. However, the Browns are reluctant to trade Garrett, so this situation might play out for some time.

    Aidan O'Connell Mar 7 10:13am ET
    Aidan O'Connell

Dynasty | The Raiders have released quarterback Gardner Minshew. Dynasty Analysis: Kudos to the Raiders for trying to make it work with the likes of Minshew and Aidan O'Connell last season, but it predictably fell apart pretty quickly. Minshew threw for just over 2,000 yards with nine touchdowns and ten interceptions in ten games last season, proving yet again his ability to give an offense a spark in a pinch, but not really be a player to build around. At this point, his dynasty value is next to nothing and he belongs on waiver wires.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Tyler Lockett Mar 7 10:13am ET
    Tyler Lockett

Dynasty | The Seahawks have released wide receiver Tyler Lockett. Dynasty Analysis: Seattle had to move on from the ten year veteran due to salary cap purposes. He ends his long Seahawks tenure with 661 catches for 8,594 yards and 61 touchdowns. He was the poster child for what a WR2 should look like for a team and has been a valuable dynasty contributor over the past decade. Unfortunately, the rise of Jaxon Smith-Njigba and salary cap issues have made him expendable. His 49/600/2 season was a big disappointment, but he should have a good market and is still dynasty roster worthy.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Tee Higgins Mar 7 10:13am ET
    Tee Higgins

Dynasty | The Seahawks are exploring the market for a DK Metcalf trade and have reportedly found a strong market. Dynasty Analysis: This shouldn't come as a huge shock as Metcalf is still just 27 years old and entering the prime of his career. He came just short of his fourth 1,000 yard season last year and is explosive as they come. With Tee Higgins secured in Cincinnati, Metcalf seems to be the top option at wideout this season and teams like the Steelers, Chiefs, Chargers and several others will likely be interested. Metcalf's dynasty value will ultimately depend on his landing spot, but it's easy to see him becoming a WR1 again next season if he gets traded to a solid team.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Christian Kirk Mar 7 10:13am ET
    Christian Kirk

Dynasty | The Jaguars have traded wide receiver Christian Kirk to the Houston Texans. Dynasty Analysis: The Jags were all set to release Kirk, but the Texans took advantage of a weaker than expected wide receiver market and decided to send them a draft pick and absorb his contract instead. You can see why as Kirk has been productive for stretches in his career. While his three years in Jacksonville were clearly a disappointment, the draft pick compensation is minimal and Houston had a big need with Stefon Diggs likely on the way out and Tank Dell's status for next season unclear. Kirk should have a chance for a bounce-back season playing alongside Nico Collins and should remain on dynasty rosters, though more as a high-upside, high-risk option.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Trevor Lawrence Mar 7 10:13am ET
    Trevor Lawrence

Dynasty | The Jaguars are releasing tight end Evan Engram. Dynasty Analysis: Jacksonville needs to set up Trevor Lawrence for success, but losing both Christian Kirk and Engram over the last couple of days doesn't seem to do much to achieve that. Engram's release comes as a surprise as the team will only save close to $6 million as a result. They may not believe he can stay healthy after he appeared in only nine games last season. However, he's still a two-time Pro Bowl player and had a monster season with 114 catches just two years ago. His landing spot will be very interesting as he could re-emerge as a dynasty TE1.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Chris Godwin Mar 7 10:10am ET
    Chris Godwin

Free-agent wide receiver Chris Godwin is expected to draw a ton of attention in free agency this offseason. The Pro-Bowl wideout will hit free agency for the first time since he was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2017. The Bucs have made it known they want to bring back Godwin, but decided not to franchise tag him and let him walk into free agency. The New England Patriots are rumored to be a heavy favorite for Godwin, but he should have a handful of suitors. The 29-year-old has been excellent since coming into the league in 2017. It's worth noting that Godwin only played seven games this past season due to a season-ending ankle injury. Before that, Godwin posted three straight season of 1,000-plus receiving yards, so the injury shouldn't impact his value on the open market. It wouldn't be shocking to see Godwin get a deal that is worth more than $25 million per season.

    From RotoBaller

Derrick Barnes Mar 7 10:10am ET
    Derrick Barnes

Detroit Lions linebacker Derrick Barnes has signed a new deal with the organization. The two sides have agreed on a three-year, $25.5 million contract extension. Barnes missed most of the 2024 season due to a season-ending knee injury in Week 3. Despite that, the Lions remain committed to Barnes and have locked him up for the next few seasons. Barnes put together a breakout campaign in 2023 when he recorded 81 tackles and five tackles for loss across 16 games with the Lions. It sounds like Barnes should be fully healed and ready to go for training camp

    From RotoBaller

Pete Carroll Mar 7 9:50am ET
    Pete Carroll

The Las Vegas Raiders are searching for a new quarterback with no clear franchise player on their current roster. The organization is reportedly looking at trading or signing a veteran starter this offseason. The Raiders were rumored to be interested in Matthew Stafford before he decided to stay with the Los Angeles Rams. They missed out on Stafford, but there's still plenty of options available. The most obvious answer seems to be Russell Wilson due to his connection with new head coach Pete Carroll. Other names such as Sam Darnold, Geno Smith, and Derek Carr should also be in play with the Raiders seeking an upgrade under center this offseason.

    From RotoBaller

Terrel Bernard Mar 7 9:40am ET
    Terrel Bernard

Buffalo Bills linebacker Terrel Bernard has signed a long-term extension with the organization. The two sides have agreed to a four-year, $50 million contract extension. The former third-round pick is well deserving of a new deal after back-to-back 100-plus tackle seasons. The Bills have now locked up their star linebacker through the 2029 campaign. Last season, Bernard registered 104 tackles, one sack, and two interceptions across 13 games with the Bills. The 25-year-old missed time due to injury, but still managed over 100 tackles, which is impressive. This is another smart move by Buffalo who recently extended wide receiver Khalil Shakir to a four-year deal as well.

    From RotoBaller

Ronald Darby Mar 7 8:14am ET
    Ronald Darby

The Jacksonville Jaguars informed veteran cornerback Ronald Darby on Thursday that they are releasing him, a source tells NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The Jaguars did a little house cleaning for their 2025 salary cap on Thursday, trading receiver Christian Kirk to the division-rival Houston Texans while also releasing Darby, tight end Evan Engram and receiver Devin Duvernay. The 31-year-old Darby signed a two-year, $8.5 million deal with Jacksonville last offseason and had 46 tackles (36 solo) and nine pass breakups in 13 games (12 starts) in his lone season with the Jags. Darby will now hit the free-agent market a bit early this offseason and is now free to sign with any team as he heads into the 11th season of his NFL career. He was originally taken in the second round by the Buffalo Bills in 2015 out of Florida State. Darby can provide veteran depth in the secondary for a team in need.

Trey Hendrickson Mar 7 8:14am ET
    Trey Hendrickson

The Cincinnati Bengals have granted All-Pro defensive end Trey Hendrickson permission to seek a trade this offseason, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. "It's been an honor and privilege to represent Cincinnati over the last four years," said Hendrickson, the NFL's sack leader. "I love this city and organization. I appreciate the privilege of now being allowed to explore my options." The Bengals are trying to sign Hendrickson and receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins to contract extensions this offseason, but that was always going to be a tall task. The 30-year-old Hendrickson is heading into the final year of his deal in 2025 but wants a new contract after leading the league with 17.5 sacks in 2024. Of the trio of stars that the Bengals hope to keep, Hendrickson was always viewed as the least likely to stay. He has 35 sacks the last two years and will be a high-end defensive lineman in IDP leagues, regardless of where he's playing.

    Tre'Vius Hodges-Tomlinson Mar 7 8:13am ET
    Tre'Vius Hodges-Tomlinson

The Los Angeles Rams released cornerback Tre'Vius Tomlinson (undisclosed) on Wednesday, and he will now go on waivers. Tomlinson's agent, Kevin Conner, said it was "a mutual decision to give Tre a fresh start. We would like to thank Les Snead and Sean McVay for working collaboratively with us to make this happen." The Rams drafted the 25-year-old defensive back in the sixth round (182nd overall) in 2023 out of TCU, and he had only 13 tackles (11 solo) in 15 games played (no starts) in his rookie campaign. Tomlinson was on Injured Reserve for all of last season with an undisclosed injury and will now look to latch on with another team for the 2025 season if he clears waivers. He mostly served on special teams for the Rams in his lone season in the NFL in 2023.

Devin Duvernay Mar 6 10:10pm ET
    Devin Duvernay

The Jacksonville Jaguars released two-time Pro Bowl return man/wide receiver Devin Duvernay on Thursday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The Jaguars were busy on Thursday clearing salary cap space for the 2025 season, as they traded receiver Christian Kirk to the division-rival Houston Texans and also released tight end Evan Engram. The 27-year-old Duvernay was much more valuable to Jacksonville as a kick returner in 2024, racking up 351 yards on kickoffs and 167 yards on punt returns while also chipping in 11 receptions for 79 yards and no touchdowns in 13 games played. The former third-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in 2020 out of Texas had 94 catches on 131 targets for 898 yards and five touchdowns in his four years with Baltimore. Wherever he lands in free agency, he'll once again primarily be a kick returner.

Jordan Mason Mar 6 9:40pm ET
    Jordan Mason

The San Francisco Standard's David Lombardi writes that San Francisco 49ers restricted free-agent running back Jordan Mason (ankle) has been drawing trade interest around the league after rushing for 1,253 yards on 5.3 yards per carry over his first three years in the league. The 49ers can tender the 25-year-old an offer that includes a right of first refusal ahead of the new league year next Wednesday. It would make sense for the Niners to place a second-round tender ($5.3 million) on Mason with the value of RBs potentially on the rise. Lombardi points out that the team has twice traded away a RB for a fifth-round pick, so Mason could be dangled with Christian McCaffrey (knee) coming back in 2025 and with Isaac Guerendo also on the roster. Mason had 789 rushing yards and three TDs on 153 carries in 2024 but missed the final five games with an ankle injury. His path back to fantasy relevance makes more sense outside of San Fran.

    From RotoBaller

Brandon Aiyuk Mar 6 9:30pm ET
    Brandon Aiyuk

The Athletic's David Lombardi said on the Pat McAfee Show on Thursday that he doesn't "think it's likely that the San Francisco 49ers are gonna trade Brandon Aiyuk." However, he also said "it's something that they're not saying a firm no to, though." The new contract that Aiyuk signed before last season wouldn't necessarily be a deterrent to a trade as much as the fact that he tore his ACL and MCL last season. If a team wanted to trade for the 26-year-old former first-rounder, they'd be inheriting him at four years and $110 million. Aiyuk also has a $20 million guarantee that kicks in on April 1, so it gives San Fran a little extra time to try and find a trade partner, despite just recently dealing Deebo Samuel Sr. to the Commanders. Before Aiyuk's injury, he didn't look good with 25 catches for 374 yards and no touchdowns in seven games. Depending on his recovery from his major knee injury, Aiyuk could be a rebound candidate in fantasy if he stays with the Niners now that Samuel is out of town.

    From RotoBaller

Matt Judon Mar 6 9:23pm ET
    Matt Judon

Atlanta Falcons impending free-agent LB Matt Judon recorded 5.5 sacks in 17 games last season after logging 32 sacks in 38 games in his three seasons with the New England Patriots.

    From TheHuddle

Sam Darnold Mar 6 9:20pm ET
    Sam Darnold

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Minnesota Vikings and impending free-agent quarterback Sam Darnold continue to negotiate this week after the Vikings decided not to place the franchise tag on him by the deadline this past Tuesday. Minnesota continues to say that they would like to re-sign Darnold for less than the franchise tag ($40 million), which would make it manageable to build the team around him in 2025. It's a delicate situation, as last year's first-rounder J.J. McCarthy (knee), who the Vikings still have faith in as their future franchise signal-caller, will be back this year after missing all of 2024 due to a season-ending knee injury that he suffered last preseason. Their willingness to bring Darnold back could mean they'd be fine having McCarthy sit and learn as the backup in 2025 before finally taking over in 2026. Either way, Darnold's best path to his highest fantasy ceiling in 2025 will be to stay in Minnesota.

    From RotoBaller

    D.K. Metcalf Mar 6 9:10pm ET
    D.K. Metcalf

Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider said on Seattle Sports that the team is "talking to a ton of teams, taking offers, seeing what that looks like" after wide receiver DK Metcalf officially requested a trade this week. The GM also said "everything is in a very cordial, professional place." Schneider said if there's a deadline to get a trade done, it would be by the draft. However, he also noted the Seahawks don't have to do anything right now with Metcalf under contract for one more year. "Worst-case scenario we have an amazing, explosive, powerful athlete playing receiver for us again in 2025, so we'll see where this goes." Seattle released veteran Tyler Lockett this week as well, so if Metcalf were to be traded, their receiver depth would be very thin behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The Seahawks reportedly will be seeking first- and third-round picks for Metcalf, who had a career-low five touchdowns in 2024.

    From RotoBaller

Bobby Wagner Mar 6 9:00pm ET
    Bobby Wagner

The Washington Commanders re-signed standout linebacker Bobby Wagner to a one-year deal worth up to $9.5 million on Thursday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The deal contains $8 million guaranteed. Wagner, a 10-time Pro Bowler and six-time first-team All-Pro, represented himself on the deal. In his first year in D.C. in 2024, the 34-year-old veteran continued to be a playmaker, recording 132 tackles (75 solo), two sacks, 10 tackles for loss, eight QB hits, four pass breakups, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in 17 regular-season starts. While his 132 combined tackles were his fewest in a season since 2015, Wagner was still a key player for the Commanders and remained fantasy relevant in IDP formats. Wagner isn't a top-end fantasy linebacker anymore but he still finished at No. 18 at his position in 2024.
