Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said that quarterback Jayden Daniels (knee) will practice in a limited capacity on Wednesday, according to Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post. "He is doing everything you possibly can to get there," Quinn said. Daniels is making progress after spraining his knee in the Week 2 loss to the Green Bay Packers, but he's not a lock to return in Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons after sitting out last week's win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The Commanders aren't going to rush the 24-year-old signal-caller back this weekend if he's up in the air, especially after backup Marcus Mariota looked good in his first start of the year against the Raiders. Daniels could need a full practice on either Thursday or Friday to have a shot at playing in Week 4. If he does play, fantasy managers will want to get him back in their lineups against a Falcons defense that just gave up 30 points to the Carolina Panthers.

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers (undisclosed) will not practice on Wednesday, according to head coach Brian Daboll. It's unclear exactly what Nabers is dealing with, but he may be completely healthy, and the G-Men are just giving him a day off early in the week. Still, we'll keep a close eye on the 22-year-old former first-rounder heading into a Week 4 matchup on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. Nabers went off for nine catches, 167 yards, and two touchdowns on 13 targets in the Week 2 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, but he fell flat in Sunday night's loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, catching two of seven targets for just 13 yards. The Giants are moving to rookie first-rounder Jaxson Dart as their starting quarterback in a tough matchup against the Bolts this weekend, so another disappointing performance could be in store for Nabers.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said that wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) will not practice on Wednesday, according to Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post. McLaurin continues to undergo testing after getting hurt in the Week 3 win over the Las Vegas Raiders, and there's a very real chance that he won't play in Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons. Missing the first practice of the week is a bad sign, but he still has two more days to get back onto the practice field. Fantasy managers who have been starting the 30-year-old through the first three weeks need to have a backup plan in place in case he is ruled out in Week 4. If McLaurin is sidelined against Atlanta, Luke McCaffrey and rookie Jaylin Lane would likely start in three-wide sets alongside Deebo Samuel Sr., with tight end Zach Ertz also seeing an uptick in usage.
From RotoBaller
Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon has ruled out wide receiver Zay Jones (concussion) for Thursday night's divisional clash against the Seattle Seahawks to kick off Week 4, according to Dani Sureck of AZCardinals.com. Jones suffered a concussion in last week's loss to the San Francisco 49ers and was unable to clear the league's concussion protocol on a short week. It remains to be seen if the 30-year-old will be cleared in time to play in Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans. With Jones out on Thursday, expect to see Greg Dortch more involved in the passing attack behind Marvin Harrison Jr. and Michael Wilson. However, Dortch still won't be a recommended flex option for fantasy lineups. Jones has had very minimal involvement in the offense through the first three weeks, catching just three of four targets for 29 yards and no touchdowns. He wasn't even targeted in Week 2.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) was seen practicing on Wednesday as he moves closer to potentially making his 2025 debut in Week 4 on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Greg Auman of FOX Sports. Godwin has not played yet this year after suffering a serious dislocated left ankle in Week 7 of last season. The 29-year-old has been practicing the last few weeks, though, and has been targeting a potential Week 4 return. The Bucs could really use his presence now with Mike Evans (hamstring) expected to miss a couple of weeks, but fantasy managers shouldn't be surprised if Godwin is eased back into the offense if he's active this weekend. How much Godwin can do in practice this week will determine if he'll actually play against the Eagles. With Evans out, rookie Emeka Egbuka and Sterling Shepard should be heavily targeted.

Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said that the team's confidence in quarterback Michael Penix Jr. remaining the starter is "absolutely still in place." Penix Jr. struggled mightily in the team's 30-0 Week 3 loss to the Carolina Panthers, completing 18 of 36 pass attempts for 172 yards and two interceptions. After a 298-yard performance in Week 1, Penix Jr. has now failed to crack 200 yards passing or find the end zone in two consecutive games. Atlanta has a proven veteran quarterback in Kirk Cousins waiting in the wings, but it does not appear that the team is anywhere close to making a switch under center. Penix Jr. profiles as a low-end fantasy QB2 heading into his Week 4 matchup against the Washington Commanders.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris said that the team still has full confidence in quarterback Michael Penix Jr. despite his rough performance in the 30-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 3, according to Terrin Waack of AtlantaFalcons.com. The Falcons will not consider veteran backup Kirk Cousins for the starting job. "We're not even close to that with Mike. He had a bad day. We had a bad day. Mike is our quarterback. We got a lot of confidence in Mike. We're moving forward with Mike. Mike's the guy," Morris said. Cousins entered late in the blowout loss on Sunday and went 5-for-7 for 29 yards. The Falcons could quickly change their tune if Penix continues to struggle, but for now, Atlanta will keep Cousins in the backup role going into a Week 4 matchup against the Washington Commanders. It's possible Cousins will be traded, but through three weeks, his trade market has been quiet.
From RotoBaller
Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that wide receiver Alec Pierce (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol and will not practice on Wednesday. Pierce is off to a solid start to his 2025 season, recording nine catches on 13 targets for 171 yards through his first three games. The 25-year-old led the NFL in yards per reception (22.3) in 2024 and remains a very effective downfield threat, although his middling target volume makes him difficult to trust for fantasy managers. If Pierce were to miss time, second-year wide receiver Adonai Mitchell could take his place in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams as the Colts' WR3 alongside Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs. Mitchell has recorded four catches for 41 yards on eight targets across the first three games of the season.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns cornerback Denzel Ward (toe, shoulder) will not participate in the team's practice on Wednesday, per Zac Jackson of The Athletic. The four-time Pro Bowler is Cleveland's top cover corner and has logged six solo tackles and two passes defensed through his first three games of 2025. The Browns will play a Detroit Lions offense that has scored 89 points over its past two games in Week 4, so a potential Ward absence could be a major concern. If Ward is unable to play in Week 4, the outlooks for quarterback Jared Goff, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, and the rest of the Lions' offense would be slightly improved.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans wide receiver Tank Dell (knee) will technically be eligible to be activated off the reserve/physically unable to perform list following his team's Week 4 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. However, there's been no indication from the team that he's nearing a return to the field. That's not surprising, considering Dell dislocated his knee and tore three major ligaments in December 2024. The most likely scenario remains that Dell will miss the entirety of the 2025 season. Veteran wideout Christian Kirk has replaced Dell's role in Houston's offense, and Kirk hauled in three catches for 25 yards on eight targets in his season debut in Week 3.
From RotoBaller
Green Bay Packers rookie wide receiver Savion Williams has mostly been used in a gadget role on offense this season. Williams has just one catch for one yard and four rush attempts for 23 yards through the first three games of his NFL career. Even after an injury to Packers wideout Jayden Reed (collarbone, foot), Williams remains buried on the team's wide receiver depth chart behind Romeo Doubs, Dontayvion Wicks, and Matthew Golden. Williams could see even less playing time once veteran wide receiver Christian Watson (knee) makes his return to the field. The 23-year-old rookie should be off the radar of redraft fantasy managers until there are signs of a significant change in role.
From RotoBaller
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker (quad) is eligible to return in Week 5 after spending the first four games on injured reserve with a preseason quad injury. In his absence, veteran Hunter Renfrow has handled the slot role, catching 11 passes for 65 yards and two touchdowns through three weeks. When Coker returns against the Miami Dolphins, he should have a chance to carve out fantasy relevance. Rookie Tetairoa McMillan has emerged as the clear WR1, but the rest of the receiver group has been inconsistent, leaving room for Coker to make an impact in his second season. Fantasy managers in deeper leagues should keep Coker on the waiver-wire radar next week, as he could quickly work his way into a meaningful role behind McMillan.
From RotoBaller
Tennessee Titans running back Tyjae Spears was working off to the side in practice last week, as he prepares for a return from a high-ankle sprain suffered in the preseason against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The second-year back was placed on injured reserve, making Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals his earliest possible return date. In Spears' absence, veteran Tony Pollard has dominated the workload, logging 90% of the Titans' running back snaps (highest rate in the NFL). With Pollard entrenched as the workhorse and the Titans' offense struggling, Spears is unlikely to hold standalone fantasy value upon his return. Instead, Spears projects more as a handcuff to Pollard, likely easing into the rotation.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders rookie wide receiver Jack Bech saw his playing time increase in Week 3. After logging under 7% of the snaps in Weeks 1 and 2, Bech played 24% in Week 3 and caught his lone target for 10 yards. His improved usage came at the expense of Dont'e Thornton, whose snap share dipped from 81% in Week 2 to 59% in Week 3. Bech still sits behind Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker, and Thornton in the receiver rotation, but the uptick in snaps is an encouraging sign for his development. He's not yet a fantasy factor, but Bech is a name to keep on the radar if his role continues to grow.
From RotoBaller
Houston Texans rookie wide receiver Jaylin Noel has fallen off the fantasy radar with veteran Christian Kirk back in the lineup. Through three games, Noel has just two catches on three targets for 11 yards, making a bigger impact on special teams than in the passing game. Kirk returned from a hamstring injury in Week 3, playing 67% of the snaps and finishing as the team's second-most targeted receiver (8) behind Nico Collins. With Kirk re-established in the offense and the Texans' receiver room crowded, Noel's role is likely limited to return duties moving forward. For fantasy purposes, Noel is not rosterable outside of deep dynasty formats.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz could be in line for increased usage in Week 4. The veteran has been steady to start his 13th season, catching 12 of 16 targets for 128 yards and two touchdowns. That role may expand if star wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quad) is forced to miss Sunday's matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Ertz has a history of success against Atlanta, posting six catches for 72 yards and two touchdowns in last year's meeting. If McLaurin sits and quarterback Jayden Daniels (knee) returns to the lineup, Ertz would be positioned to have another big week against the Falcons. In that scenario, Ertz moves from a solid streaming option to a must-start fantasy tight end in Week 4.
From RotoBaller
New England Patriots rookie wide receiver Kyle Williams has had a quiet start to his NFL career. Through three games, he has caught both of his targets for 20 yards and has yet to play more than 10 snaps in a game. Williams currently sits behind Kayshon Boutte, Stefon Diggs, Mack Hollins, and DeMario Douglas on the depth chart, leaving him buried in the receiver rotation. The situation is made worse by the Patriots' offensive tendencies, as four of their top six leaders in receiving yards are tight ends or running backs. It's clear that Williams isn't a meaningful part of the passing attack yet, and his fantasy value is virtually nonexistent. Williams can safely be dropped in all redraft formats, though he still carries some long-term appeal in dynasty or keeper leagues.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants running back Devin Singletary is expected to step into the RB2 role following Tyrone Tracy Jr.'s shoulder injury. Singletary saw limited work in Week 3, carrying four times for 11 yards in the Giants' 22-9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Tracy is expected to miss 2-4 weeks with a dislocated shoulder, leaving veteran Singletary as the primary backup. Rookie Cam Skattebo has firmly established himself as the Giants' lead back, racking up 180 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns on 29 touches over the last two games. That means Singletary will serve as the team's RB2 until Tracy returns to action. For fantasy purposes, Singletary has relevance as insurance, but he's not a viable starting option in any format unless injuries push him into a larger role.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (hamstring) remains on injured reserve after exiting in Week 1. Kittle scored an early touchdown before leaving the game and was placed on IR shortly afterward. His earliest return date is Week 6 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, though his fantasy outlook is now clouded in the 49ers' crowded receiver room. With rookie Ricky Pearsall emerging, Jauan Jennings performing when healthy, and Christian McCaffrey leading the team in targets, Kittle may not return to the same dominant workload he had in 2024. Brandon Aiyuk is also tracking toward a late-season return, which could further limit his target share. While Kittle still carries name value and touchdown upside, he might not reclaim elite fantasy status. If he returns strong in midseason, he could be a smart sell-high candidate before the 49ers' offense becomes even more crowded.
From RotoBaller
Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Parker Washington has seen his role expand over the past two weeks. After being held without a catch in Week 1, Washington has since drawn 16 targets, catching nine passes for 110 yards. His playing time has increased, thanks in part to Travis Hunter taking on a heavier defensive workload, playing 65% of defensive snaps in Weeks 2 and 3, compared to just 9% in Week 1. Washington's opportunity grew even further in Week 3 when Dyami Brown exited with a shoulder injury, allowing Washington to play 71% of the snaps. If Brown misses additional time, Washington stands to be the primary beneficiary. For fantasy managers, Washington is not a locked-in starter, but with Hunter focusing more on defense and Brown banged up, he's emerging as a name to watch in Week 4 and beyond.
