Brock Purdy Oct 16 6:40pm CT
    Brock Purdy

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) remained a limited participant in Thursday's practice as he works his way back from the turf toe injury he suffered in Week 1. The 49ers have managed a 4-2 record in his absence, with veteran backup Mac Jones (knee, oblique) handling starting duties. While Purdy is unlikely to return in Week 7 against the Atlanta Falcons, his continued presence at practice is a positive sign for his recovery timeline. The 49ers are expected to remain cautious with their young signal-caller, but the door appears open for a potential return in the coming weeks. Fantasy managers in superflex and two-quarterback formats should keep Purdy stashed, as his upside in a talented San Francisco offense makes him a valuable asset once he's back to full strength.

Jauan Jennings Oct 16 6:40pm CT
    Jauan Jennings

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle, rib, shoulder) has been limited in practice all week but is trending in the right direction ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Atlanta Falcons. The veteran wideout has battled multiple injuries this season, appearing in just four games while totaling 10 receptions for 136 yards and a touchdown. With the 49ers offense still dealing with several key absences, quarterback Mac Jones will need all available weapons against the league's top-ranked pass defense -- one that just stifled Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Jennings' potential return would provide a much-needed boost to San Francisco's depth at receiver, though his fantasy value remains limited unless he begins to see a larger target share. For now, Jennings is best viewed as a deep-league stash or DFS dart throw in Week 7.

Chris Olave Oct 16 6:30pm CT
    Chris Olave

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Chris Olave (hip) was upgraded to a full participant in Thursday's practice after being limited the day before, putting him on track to play Sunday against the Chicago Bears. The third-year wideout has maintained WR1 status in New Orleans with a commanding 32.3% target share, turning 39 receptions into 342 yards and a touchdown through six games. While quarterback Spencer Rattler has struggled with consistency, Olave continues to command double-digit targets nearly every week. His 60.9% catch rate highlights some inefficiency in the Saints' passing attack, but the sheer volume keeps Olave firmly in must-start territory for fantasy managers. Against a Bears defense allowing over 213 passing yards per game, Olave should remain the focal point of the Saints' offense and carries a solid WR2 floor with WR1 upside if the offense finds rhythm.

Trey Hendrickson Oct 16 6:20pm CT
    Trey Hendrickson

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson (hip) has been ruled out for Thursday night's matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers, dealing a major blow to an already struggling defensive unit. Hendrickson leads the Bengals in sacks (4) this season, and his absence will make it even tougher for Cincinnati's defense -- currently ranked 31st in the league -- to contain a rejuvenated Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers offense. Without their top pass-rusher, the Bengals' ability to generate pressure and limit big plays takes a significant hit. Fantasy managers should steer clear of starting the Bengals defense in Week 7, as they'll face an uphill battle as they host a divisional rival finding its offensive rhythm.

    Marquez Valdes-Scantling Oct 16 6:10pm CT
    Marquez Valdes-Scantling

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling (calf) was added to the team's injury report on Thursday and is expected to miss at least the next couple of weeks. The veteran wideout's absence is another setback for a 49ers offense already dealing with multiple injuries across the roster. Fortunately, tight end George Kittle (hamstring) is trending toward returning this week, providing quarterback Mac Jones with a much-needed security blanket in the passing game. Without MVS, expect to see a heavy dose of Kittle along with Kendrick Bourne and Jauan Jennings in the passing game while utilizing a run-heavy approach against the Atlanta Falcons. With the Falcons boasting the league's top-ranked defense, fantasy managers should temper expectations for all 49ers pass-catchers until the offense gets back to full strength.

    From RotoBaller

George Kittle Oct 16 5:50pm CT
    George Kittle

San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle (hamstring), who is currently on Injured Reserve due to a hamstring injury he suffered in the season opener, said he plans to play this Sunday night against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 7. The Niners designated the 32-year-old to return from IR this week, which means the team now has 21 days to officially activate him. In his return to practice on Wednesday, Kittle was limited, and he maintained that practice status on Thursday. Despite suffering a full tear of his hamstring in Week 1, Kittle is back to full health and is hoping to make his return this weekend. It's unclear if the coaching staff feels the same way yet, but we should have our answer by Saturday, when the Niners will need to activate Kittle from IR if they intend to play him on Sunday. Despite the layoff, Kittle will be back on the TE1 radar immediately if he returns to action against Atlanta.

Treylon Burks Oct 16 5:30pm CT
    Treylon Burks

Former Tennessee Titans first-round wide receiver Treylon Burks is expected to sign with the Washington Commanders' practice squad, sources tell Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Burks is a low-risk, high-reward addition who played in a similar offense in college to the one that Kliff Kingsbury is running in D.C., and he could be elevated quickly to Washington's active 53-man roster. Before visiting with the Commanders, Burks had a meeting with the Denver Broncos this week. The Commanders' impending addition of Burks speaks to their need for WR depth, with both Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) potentially missing the Week 7 game against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys this Sunday. Noah Brown (groin, knee) was also put on Injured Reserve this week. Burks is an interesting addition, but he'll be behind Luke McCaffrey, rookie Jaylin Lane, and Chris Moore if McLaurin and Samuel cannot play.

Quentin Johnston Oct 16 5:30pm CT
    Quentin Johnston

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston (hamstring) upgraded to a full practice on Thursday after he was listed as limited on Wednesday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Johnston was unable to play in the team's Week 6 win over the Miami Dolphins, but he's trending toward returning a week later to face the Indianapolis Colts now that he has returned to a full practice participant. That would be bad news for both Keenan Allen and Ladd McConkey in L.A.'s passing attack. Johnston cooled off in Week 5, but he still leads the Bolts in receiving yards (377) and touchdowns (four) on 26 receptions in his five games played. The former first-rounder has really taken the next step in his development in 2025 and has really improved his chemistry with quarterback Justin Herbert deep down the field. If Johnston returns on Sunday, he'll be an upside WR3 play in fantasy.

    From RotoBaller

Kyler Murray Oct 16 5:10pm CT
    Kyler Murray

For the second straight day this week, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray (foot) was limited in practice on Thursday as he tends to a mid-foot sprain, according to Arizona Sports' Tyler Drake. Murray suffered a mid-foot sprain in the Week 5 loss to the Tennessee Titans and was inactive in Sunday's loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The 28-year-old may need to upgrade to a full practice on Friday to avoid missing a second straight game this Sunday versus the visiting Green Bay Packers, especially since backup Jacoby Brissett showed well in his spot start last weekend. Murray will be more of a QB2 for fantasy managers if he's able to start in Week 7, with top receivers Marvin Harrison Jr. (concussion) and Zay Jones (knee) nursing injuries that could keep them out against the Packers. Scrambling and using his legs is a big part of Murray's fantasy appeal, so although it's not believed to be a serious injury, it's worrisome for his managers.

    From RotoBaller

Marvin Harrison Jr. Oct 16 5:00pm CT
    Marvin Harrison Jr.

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (concussion) was listed as a limited participant in practice for the second straight day this week on Thursday, according to Tyler Drake of Arizona Sports. Harrison was seen catching passes from backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett during practice on Thursday while wearing a non-contact jersey. The 23-year-old former first-rounder suffered a concussion in the Week 6 loss to the Indianapolis Colts and is now in the league's concussion protocol. It's good news that he has practiced on Wednesday and Thursday, but Harrison still needs to be cleared by an independent neurologist and is up in the air to play this weekend against the visiting Green Bay Packers. If he does get cleared, Harrison could be working with Brissett on offense with Kyler Murray potentially missing a second straight game with a mid-foot sprain. Zay Jones (knee) missed a second straight practice on Thursday, so if Harrison and Jones both cannot play, Arizona would be down to Michael Wilson (foot) and Greg Dortch as their top two receivers on Sunday.

    From RotoBaller

Zonovan Knight Oct 16 4:50pm CT
    Zonovan Knight

Arizona Cardinals running back Bam Knight (knee) was upgraded to a full practice participant on Thursday after he was listed as limited in Wednesday's practice, according to Tyler Drake of Arizona Sports. Knight was surprisingly Arizona's backfield leader in the Week 6 loss to the Indianapolis Colts, but he came out of that game a little banged up. However, his return to a full practice on Thursday puts him on track to play this Sunday versus the visiting Green Bay Packers. Knight played 37 offensive snaps on Sunday and had 12 touches for 54 scrimmage yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Michael Carter played 32 snaps, had 11 touches, and totaled 64 scrimmage yards. The 24-year-old Knight is worth a waiver-wire pickup if he's still available in your league, but the Cardinals could go with the hot hand moving forward with Trey Benson (knee) on Injured Reserve. At best, Knight is setting up as a touchdown-dependent RB3/flex this week against Green Bay.

Brock Bowers Oct 16 4:30pm CT
    Brock Bowers

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers (knee) remains absent from practice on Thursday, according to ESPN's Ryan McFadden. Bowers has yet to practice this week and is unlikely to make his return in a Week 7 divisional contest against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 22-year-old second-year tight end initially suffered a PCL injury in Week 1 and played through it, but he will be missing his third straight contest this weekend. The Raiders have their bye coming up in Week 8, so the hope is that he will be recovered in time to take the field in Week 9 versus the Jacksonville Jaguars. Bowers' knee injury has made him one of the biggest fantasy busts so far in 2025, but he needs to remain stashed in all fantasy formats. Michael Mayer scored his first touchdown of the year in the Week 6 win over the Tennessee Titans and will be in play as a TE2 streamer against KC this weekend with Bowers likely out again.

    From RotoBaller

Jakobi Meyers Oct 16 4:20pm CT
    Jakobi Meyers

Updating a previous report, Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (knee, toe) is not participating in practice on Thursday despite offensive coordinator Chip Kelly saying he expected him to, according to Ryan McFadden of ESPN. Despite playing 90% of the offensive snaps in the Week 6 win over the Tennessee Titans, Meyers has missed both practices so far this week, putting him in danger of missing the Week 7 game this Sunday against the division-rival Kansas City Chiefs. The 28-year-old will need to return to practice on Friday to have a shot at being active this weekend. With tight end Brock Bowers (knee) expected to miss a third straight game, the Raiders would be missing their top two pass-catchers if Meyers is also unavailable. Receiver Tre Tucker and tight end Michael Mayer could be heavily targeted. Meyers hasn't shown much chemistry with quarterback Geno Smith this year and did not take advantage of Bowers missing the last two weeks.

CeeDee Lamb Oct 16 4:10pm CT
    CeeDee Lamb

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (ankle) told reporters on Thursday that he will play and will "not be on a pitch count" in Week 7 against the Washington Commanders, per Clarence Hill Jr. of DLLS Sports. Lamb has been sidelined since Week 3, when he suffered a high ankle sprain early in the Cowboys' loss to the Chicago Bears. The 26-year-old recorded 16 catches for 222 yards on 24 targets across the first two weeks of 2025. Lamb should immediately re-assume the WR1 role in Dallas upon his return. He profiles as a must-start fantasy wide receiver in Week 7 against Washington.

    From RotoBaller

Ricky Pearsall Oct 16 4:00pm CT
    Ricky Pearsall

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) missed practice for the second straight day on Thursday, per Matt Barrows of The Athletic. Pearsall has been sidelined since Week 4 due to a knee sprain, and he appears to be at risk of being inactive again in Week 7 when the 49ers take on the Atlanta Falcons. Pearsall has recorded 20 catches for 327 yards on 29 targets across four games so far this season. If he remains out, 49ers wideout Kendrick Bourne could be in for another week as the focal point of the team's passing game. San Francisco could be getting star tight end George Kittle (hamstring) back off of Injured Reserve in Week 7 as well. Should Pearsall return against Atlanta, he would profile as a low-end WR3/flex option. However, fantasy managers should likely count on him being sidelined for a third straight week.

    From RotoBaller

    D'Andre Swift Oct 16 3:40pm CT
    D'Andre Swift

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift (groin) was listed as a limited practice participant on Thursday due to a groin injury. Swift was not on Wednesday's injury report, which could indicate that he tweaked the groin during Thursday's practice. The 26-year-old has recorded 447 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns on 85 total touches through five games so far this season. If he is unable to suit up in Week 7 against the New Orleans Saints, Bears running back Kyle Monangai would likely see a majority of the backfield work. Third-year back Roschon Johnson could factor into the mix as well. Assuming Swift can play on Sunday, he profiles as a solid fantasy RB2 in Week 7.

    From RotoBaller

    D.J. Moore Oct 16 3:40pm CT
    D.J. Moore

Chicago Bears wide receiver DJ Moore (hip, groin) was listed as a limited practice participant on Thursday after being listed as a non-participant on Wednesday. Moore got banged up during the team's Week 6 win over the Washington Commanders on Monday night, but it appears he's trending in the right direction. Still, his status for Week 7 against the New Orleans Saints remains unclear. Moore has recorded 19 catches for 215 yards and one touchdown on 26 targets through five games so far this season. If he were to be sidelined on Sunday, Bears wideouts Luther Burden III and Olamide Zaccheaus would both likely see an uptick in playing time and targets. Should Moore be healthy enough to play, he profiles as a low-end WR3/flex option in Week 7.

    From RotoBaller

Alvin Kamara Oct 16 3:30pm CT
    Alvin Kamara

practice on Thursday after missing Wednesday's practice, per ESPN's Katherine Terrell. Terrell previously reported that the team plans to hold Kamara out of Wednesday practices for the time being as part of a maintenance plan for his ankle. The 30-year-old should be on track to play in Week 7 against the Chicago Bears. Kamara has recorded 436 yards from scrimmage and one touchdown on 105 total touches through six games this season. He has not topped 80 scrimmage yards in a game since Week 2 and has not scored a touchdown since Week 1. Kamara profiles as a low-end fantasy RB2/high-end flex option in Week 7, even in a favorable matchup on paper against the Chicago Bears.

    From RotoBaller

Jakobi Meyers Oct 16 3:20pm CT
    Jakobi Meyers

Las Vegas Raiders offensive coordinator Chip Kelly said the team is expecting wide receiver Jakobi Meyers (knee, toe) to be back at practice on Thursday after missing practice on Wednesday, per ESPN's Ryan McFadden. Meyers may be limited on Thursday, but his return is a positive sign for his availability in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs. The 28-year-old has recorded 29 catches for 329 yards on 43 targets through six games this season. However, he's yet to record a touchdown and has not cracked four receptions or 40 receiving yards in a game since Week 3. If Meyers were unable to go in Week 7, Raiders wideouts Tre Tucker and Jack Bech would likely see an uptick in targets. Assuming Meyers can play, he profiles as a solid WR3/flex option against Kansas City.

    From RotoBaller

Jalen Coker Oct 16 3:20pm CT
    Jalen Coker

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Jalen Coker (quad) practiced in full for the second straight day on Thursday. The 23-year-old was placed on Injured Reserve before the start of the season and has yet to play in 2025. However, it appears as though Coker is trending towards making his season debut in Week 7 against the New York Jets. Across 11 games in 2024, Coker recorded 32 catches for 478 yards and two touchdowns on 46 targets. Upon his return, he should compete with Panthers wideout Xavier Legette for WR2 status alongside Tetairoa McMillan. Coker may be eased into the lineup after his extended absence, which makes him tough for fantasy managers to trust in Week 7. Still, he's a name to monitor in deep leagues.
