The expectation was that Diggs would be limited to begin the season, but maybe he'll be ready to go by Week 1. Fantasy managers will have to stay tuned for more updates on his status as camp goes on.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) is reportedly moving around well during practices. It's nice to hear that Godwin is making progress after a brutal dislocation of his ankle sidelined him for a majority of last season. Despite that, the Bucs gave Godwin a three-year, $66 million extension this offseason. The Bucs aren't going to push Godwin too hard, but it seems like he's doing well early in camp. He currently remains without a timetable to return. There's a chance that Godwin is eased back into action early in the season. If that happens, Jalen McMillan and rookie Emeka Egbuka would see increased snaps alongside Mike Evans in a three-receiver set.

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill said that he didn't fully understand the offense the first three years he was in town, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. It's a bit unbelievable, but it didn't stop the Cheetah from leading the league with 1,799 receiving yards, 13 touchdowns and 112.4 yards per game in 2023. The speedy 31-year-old dealt with a wrist injury all of last year and also wasn't helped by the fact that quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missed more time with a head injury. As a result, Hill fell short of the 1,000-yard mark (959 yards) for the first time since 2019 as Miami's offense was more dink-and-dunk than explosive. His fantasy stock entering 2025 is down as a result, especially given Tua's shaky injury history. However, the five-time All-Pro seems very motivated and could easily bounce back if Tagovailoa stays on the field. He's ranked at RotoBaller as the WR12.

Phil Perry of NBC Sports Boston reports that New England Patriots running back Antonio Gibson (undisclosed) will sit out of Friday's scrimmage due to an undisclosed injury. Gibson also did not take part in the team's walk-through practice at training camp on Thursday. It's unclear what is ailing the 27-year-old, but it's likely that the Patriots are just being cautious. As things currently stand, Gibson is going to go undrafted in most fantasy leagues after the Patriots took RB TreVeyon Henderson in the second round back in April. Although Rhamondre Stevenson has his issues with ball security, he will remain ahead of Gibson on the depth chart in 2025 as long as he stays healthy. In his first year in New England in 2024, Gibson had 120 carries for 538 yards and one touchdown, adding a career-low 23 receptions for 206 yards through the air in 17 games (three starts).

Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. (knee) is missing his second consecutive practice on Friday due to knee soreness, according to Tyler Drake of AZ Sports. The second-year wide receiver's injury is not viewed as serious, but it's one to monitor to see how much time he ends up missing. Harrison Jr. added weight over the offseason after a relatively disappointing rookie year that saw him record 62 catches for 885 yards and eight touchdowns in 17 games. Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson (hamstring) was on a side field during practice on Friday working out with trainers, according to Emily Leiker of the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Head coach Kevin O'Connell said there still isn't a timeline on Jefferson's full re-integration at practices, but that he would ramp back up into some work this week and that updates have been "really positive." The 26-year-old All-Pro wideout hasn't practiced with the rest of the team for a full week now, but the Vikings are likely just being overly cautious with one of the best pass-catchers in football. The Vikes want to rest Jefferson but also know he's going to need reps with quarterback J.J. McCarthy before the start of the regular season. We would expect him to return to the practice field sooner than later. Unless Jefferson's absence drags on longer, he should still be one of the first receivers taken in fantasy drafts.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Adonai Mitchell looked "elite" in the team's training camp practice on Thursday, according to James Boyd of The Athletic. Earlier reporting (from Boyd) indicated that Mitchell was struggling, so it's a good sign to see things picking up for the second-year wide receiver. A second-round pick in 2024 out of Texas, Mitchell caught just 23 passes for 312 yards and zero touchdowns in 17 games as a rookie. Indianapolis has a crowded wide receiver room with Josh Downs, Michael Pittman Jr., and Alec Pierce all deserving of playing time. Philadelphia Eagles superstar running back Saquon Barkley saw a "heavy workload as a ball-carrier and a receiver" during the team's training camp practice on Friday, according to Andrew DiCecco of Inside the Birds. A heavy rushing workload is the expectation for Barkley, as he led the NFL in rush attempts (345) and rushing yards (2,005) on his way to winning the AP Offensive Player of the Year Award in 2024. The New England Patriots have "significant plans" for veteran wide receiver Mack Hollins, according to ESPN's Mike Reiss. Hollins signed a two-year contract with New England in free agency after spending the 2024 season with the Buffalo Bills. Entering his age-32 season in 2025, Hollins has mostly played a supporting role as a run blocker and core special-teams player throughout his seven-year NFL career. However, he had his most productive year as a receiver in 2022 while playing under current Patriots' offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels when McDaniels was the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. Free-agent wide receiver Keenan Allen is visiting with the Los Angeles Chargers on Friday, and there is "mutual interest in a potential reunion," according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. At best, he could be the team's No. 4 wideout behind Reed, Doubs and rookie first-rounder Matthew Golden.
