Khalil Herbert Sep 22 6:10pm CT
    Khalil Herbert

According to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the Seattle Seahawks are expected to sign running back Khalil Herbert to the practice squad. Herbert spent time with the Colts during training camp and appears to be nearing an NFL contract. During the 2024 campaign, Herbert spent time with the Cincinnati Bengals and logged 28 carries for 114 yards and caught eight of his nine targets for 21 yards. Herbert enjoyed his best season with the Bears in 2022 when he totaled 731 rushing yards and four touchdowns. Fantasy managers should expect Herbert to spend most of his time on the team's practice squad. However, he could make a case to join the active roster as the team's No. 2 running back, Zach Charbonnet (foot), was held out of their Week 3 contest.

Keaton Mitchell Sep 22 6:10pm CT
    Keaton Mitchell

Baltimore Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell (healthy scratch) has been ruled out for Monday night's matchup against the Detroit Lions. Mitchell has yet to appear in a regular-season game this year, sitting as a healthy scratch each week. The second-year back flashed explosiveness as a rookie before tearing his ACL late in the 2023 season, and he has yet to carve out a role in Baltimore's crowded backfield. With Mitchell sidelined, Justice Hill and Rasheen Ali will continue to operate as the primary backups behind starter Derrick Henry. Hill has logged over 40% of the snaps in the first two games and should maintain a steady role, though the matchup against Detroit's stout run defense remains difficult.Mitchell's next chance to be active will come in Week 4, when the Ravens travel to face the Kansas City Chiefs.

Jauan Jennings Sep 22 6:00pm CT
    Jauan Jennings

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle/shoulder) is considered day-to-day heading into Week 4. Jennings played through a shoulder issue in Week 2, posting five catches for 89 yards and a touchdown, but he did not practice ahead of Week 3 and was ultimately ruled out. If Jennings remains sidelined, second-year wideout Ricky Pearsall should see a boost in targets, especially with quarterback Brock Purdy trending toward a return this week. The matchup sets up well, as Jacksonville's secondary has struggled early in 2025. Jennings' status will need monitoring, but if active, he profiles as a flex option in most fantasy formats against the Jaguars.

Spencer Shrader Sep 22 6:00pm CT
    Spencer Shrader

Indianapolis Colts kicker Spencer Shrader got off to a red-hot start to the season, hitting all nine of his field-goal attempts through the first two weeks. He finally misfired in a Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans, hitting two of his three field goals but nailing all five of his extra-point tries. Shrader's early-season production has been a pleasant surprise for the Colts and fantasy gamers alike as he now has 43 points through three weeks. He will be a solid fantasy option heading into a Week 4 road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

Isaiah Likely Sep 22 6:00pm CT
    Isaiah Likely

Baltimore Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely (foot) has been ruled out for Monday night's matchup against the Detroit Lions. Likely has yet to play this season after suffering a broken foot early in training camp. While he was limited in practice this week, the team ultimately decided he wasn't ready for a return in this primetime game. With Likely sidelined, Mark Andrews will continue to handle the bulk of tight end snaps, with Charlie Kolar mixing in when the Ravens deploy two-tight-end sets. The matchup is a tough one (Detroit allowed the fewest fantasy points to tight ends in 2024), making Andrews more of a streaming option this week rather than a locked-in play. The Ravens hope Likely can return in Week 4 when they travel to face the Kansas City Chiefs.

Brock Purdy Sep 22 5:50pm CT
    Brock Purdy

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) is expected to return to practice on Wednesday. Purdy has missed the past two games with a turf toe injury, forcing the team to lean on backup Mac Jones. Purdy managed limited work late last week, but the 49ers ultimately held him out to give him extra recovery time. With "Mr. Irrelevant" trending toward a Week 4 return against the Jacksonville Jaguars, his presence would be a significant boost for the entire offense, especially second-year wide receiver Ricky Pearsall. While the Jaguars' defense has looked strong early in 2025, this will be the toughest offense they've faced to date. If active, Purdy should be viewed as a QB2 in Week 4.

Tyler Warren Sep 22 5:50pm CT
    Tyler Warren

Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren dealt with a toe injury leading up to his team's Week 3 win over the Tennessee Titans but he ultimately played through the issue. Warren wound up catching three of his five targets for 38 yards to finish third on the team behind Michael Pittman Jr. and Alec Pierce in the blowout 41-20 win. The rookie tight end has been impressive through his first three career games, hauling in 14 of his 21 targets for 193 scoreless yards. Warren is already worth trusting as a solid TE1 in fantasy as he looks for his first career touchdown in a Week 4 road game against the Los Angeles Rams.

    From RotoBaller

Josh Downs Sep 22 5:50pm CT
    Josh Downs

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs was quiet in his team's 41-20 win over the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. Downs caught just two of his three targets for 34 yards to finish fourth on the team in receiving. Through three weeks with Daniel Jones under center, Downs appears to have taken a backseat to Michael Pittman Jr. as the No. 1 receiver in the Indy passing attack. The veteran slot receiver will look to bounce back in Week 4's road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, but he's settling in as a WR5 in fantasy after a pedestrian start to the season.

James Conner Sep 22 5:40pm CT
    James Conner

Arizona Cardinals running back James Conner (ankle) underwent season-ending surgery on Monday after suffering a significant right ankle injury in the third quarter of Sunday's game. Conner was carted off with his ankle immobilized, and head coach Jonathan Gannon confirmed he won't return this season. With Conner sidelined, the Cardinals will turn to second-year back Trey Benson, who has been highly efficient, averaging 6.0 yards per carry (second among RBs). Gannon praised Benson before the season, noting he viewed both Conner and Benson as capable starters. Benson now projects as the lead option in Arizona's backfield, while Emari Demercado is expected to mix in behind him.

Demarcus Robinson Sep 22 5:30pm CT
    Demarcus Robinson

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Demarcus Robinson has rejoined the team after serving a three-game suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy. His return comes at a critical time, as the 49ers' receiving corps has been hit hard by injuries. Brandon Aiyuk (knee), Jauan Jennings (ankle/shoulder), and rookie Jacob Cowing (hamstring) have all missed time, while star tight end George Kittle (hamstring) remains on injured reserve. Robinson wasn't expected to carry much fantasy value entering the season, but the depleted depth chart could open up immediate opportunities, especially with quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) expected back in Week 4. In deeper formats, Robinson is worth consideration as a flex play, particularly if Jennings remains sidelined.

Omarion Hampton Sep 22 5:20pm CT
    Omarion Hampton

Dynasty | Chargers rookie running back Omarion Hampton had 70 rushing yards, six catches, 59 receiving yards and a touchdown in a win against the Broncos. Dynasty Analysis: This performance came out of nowhere after Najee Harris went down with a season-ending injury. Hampton hadn't been great until this week but he now has a monster opportunity moving forward as he will likely slot in as a true featured back in Los Angeles. This stretch of games will likely define his career as a truly dominant stretch could preclude the Chargers from trying to find a backfield partner for him in the off-season. In short, it's go-time for Hampton, whether the Chargers wanted it or not.

Omarion Hampton Sep 22 5:20pm CT
    Omarion Hampton

Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Omarion Hampton is set to take on a much larger role after veteran Najee Harris suffered a torn Achilles in Week 2's 23-20 win over the Denver Broncos. With Harris sidelined for the season, the Chargers will lean heavily on their first-round pick. Hampton delivered in Week 3, handling 19 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown, while also contributing six catches for 59 yards through the air. His all-around performance drew high praise from head coach Jim Harbaugh, who said after the game, "Man, what a game (Hampton) had. How about that?!" With volume on his side and a favorable schedule ahead, Hampton profiles as a high-end RB2 with the upside to finish even higher as the season progresses.

Sam Darnold Sep 22 5:20pm CT
    Sam Darnold

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold has turned in two straight solid fantasy performances. Darnold threw for an efficient 218 yards and two touchdowns in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints. The Seahawks did not need Darnold to do much in a game in which running back Kenneth Walker III rushed for two touchdowns and the defense dominated. However, the performance was still enough for Darnold to deliver 16.7 fantasy points in four-point passing touchdown formats. Now that Darnold looks fully comfortable in Seattle's offense, he has a chance to deliver great fantasy performances in the right matchups. The Seahawks are looking like a team that may be able to put up points in a hurry this year. Darnold already proved that he could be a solid fantasy quarterback in 2024. If you are battling quarterback injuries or poor play, keep Darnold on your radar moving forward.

    From RotoBaller

Cooper Kupp Sep 22 5:20pm CT
    Cooper Kupp

Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp is looking like a player who will be difficult to trust in fantasy football this season. Kupp scored 16 fantasy points on nine targets in Week 2, but he has only earned three targets in each of the Seahawks' other two games. Kupp reeled in two receptions for 31 yards in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints despite the Seahawks scoring 44 points. With fellow wide receiver Tory Horton earning a larger role within the offense, Kupp may be up and down this season. He is a great chain-mover and veteran for quarterback Sam Darnold to trust, but his lack of consistent targets through three weeks makes him difficult to project in fantasy. He will always be a threat to earn eight to 10 targets in any given week, but it is clear that he could have a series of dud performances throughout the year as well.

Jordan Addison Sep 22 5:20pm CT
    Jordan Addison

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison is set to return from his three-game suspension stemming from last summer's DUI charges. With the suspension served, Addison has returned to the team and is expected to suit up in London when the Vikings take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Addison steps back into the WR2 role, and he'll be catching passes from backup quarterback Carson Wentz, who is coming off a strong performance in Week 3's blowout win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers' secondary bounced back last week, holding New England's wide receivers to just 93 yards on 11 catches. Given the quarterback situation and a tough defensive opponent, Addison profiles as a low-end WR3 for Week 4, though his talent keeps him on the flex radar.

    From RotoBaller

Tre Harris Sep 22 5:20pm CT
    Tre Harris

Dynasty | Chargers rookie receiver Tre Harris failed to catch his only target in a win against the Broncos. Dynasty Analysis: Harris now has just three catches for 45 yards on the season. Meanwhile the newly re-added Keenan Allen has a 19/194/3 line on the season. In short, the signing of Allen just killed any chance Harris had to make an early impact. He remains a solid dynasty stash but this is hugely disappointing to those who burned a second round rookie pick on him this off-season.

David Njoku Sep 22 5:00pm CT
    David Njoku

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku caught five of his seven targets for 40 yards in a 13-10 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. Njoku wound up leading the team in receiving yards on an afternoon where they only threw for 142 yards in the upset win. The veteran tight end is off to a slow start in 2025, catching 12 passes for 117 scoreless yards through three games. The emergence of rookie Harold Fannin Jr. has been an issue for Njoku, as has a punchless passing attack led by Joe Flacco. Njoku will be on the TE2 radar heading into Week 4's road matchup against the Detroit Lions.

Free-agent WR Cedrick Wilson (Saints) was signed to the New Orleans Saints practice squad Monday, Sept. 22.

Ashton Jeanty Sep 22 4:13pm CT
    Ashton Jeanty

Dynasty | Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty had 63 rushing yards and failed to record a catch in a loss to the Commanders. Dynasty Analysis: On the season, Jeanty now has 144 rushing yards and just one touchdown on 3.1 yards per carry. He's also "added" five catches for three yards through his three games. This is either a really slow start or the beginning of a total disaster. Jeanty hasn't looked like the explosive player we saw at Boise State and dynasty managers are starting to get very concerned. Managers have no other choice than to hold on to Jeanty and hope things turn around but this has not been at all the start most expected.

    From Dynasty League Fantasy

Najee Harris Sep 22 4:13pm CT
    Najee Harris

Dynasty | Chargers running back Najee Harris suffered what the team expects to be a torn Achilles in a win over Denver Sunday. Dynasty Analysis: Harris went down with a non-contact injury and those are typically the worst. Signed to a modest $5 million deal this off-season, Harris will now enter next season as a free agent coming off one of the worst injuries you can have. He had some trouble generating interest this year and the injury clearly won't help. Harris was poised to start leading the Chargers backfield as Omarion Hampton had been ineffective. After a 4th of July eye injury, this turn of events simply made his quick tenure with the Chargers a disaster. He's still roster-worthy in deep leagues but it's close.
