Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (foot) returned to practice Tuesday after sitting out Monday with a blister in his foot. Pierce has stood out early in camp as he enters a contract year. The 25-year-old led the NFL with a sky-high 22.3 yards per catch and picked up seven touchdowns in 2024, but he only caught 37 passes on 69 targets. Pierce continues to deal with a less-than-stellar situation at quarterback with Daniel Jones and Anthony Richardson Sr. vying for the job. There are also a handful of other Colts who could eat into his targets. Pierce finished third on the team in targets last year, trailing well behind Michael Pittman Jr. and Josh Downs, and the Colts have since added first-round tight end Tyler Warren.

New York Giants wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson (leg) was back at practice participating in individual drills on Tuesday, according to Dan Duggan of The Athletic. Robinson sat out Monday's session after taking a knee to the leg on Sunday. The 24-year-old had a breakout season in 2024 in terms of receptions (93) and targets (140), though he averaged a meager 7.5 yards per catch and finished with only three touchdowns in 17 games. Robinson, who will be catching passes from new quarterback Russell Wilson, is heading into this season as RotoBaller's 68th-ranked receiver.

The Washington Commanders have been lining up wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. in various spots as they look to take advantage of his versatility, according to John Keim of ESPN. Not only has Samuel caught passes and run the ball, but the Commanders have paired him with running back Austin Ekeler on kickoff returns. Samuel was a big-time all-around weapon for the San Francisco 49ers earlier in his career, but they traded him to Washington in the offseason after his production went backward. Samuel caught 51 of 81 targets for 670 yards and three touchdowns in 15 games last year. As a runner, he totaled just 136 yards on 42 attempts and added another score. The 29-year-old still believes he has "a lot left in the tank," and he'll have a chance to show it as a key piece in a talented Commanders offense led by second-year quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Atlanta Falcons head coach Raheem Morris "kept things a bit open-ended" about the availability of wide receiver Darnell Mooney (shoulder) for the start of the regular season, according to Tori McElhaney of Fox 5 Sports. Mooney exited the team's practice on Friday with a shoulder injury he suffered while attempting a diving catch and is expected to be re-evaluated in a few weeks. It's worrying news for the 27-year-old, who was highly productive in his first season with the Falcons in 2024. Mooney played 16 games last season, recording 64 receptions for 992 yards and four touchdowns. Atlanta is thin at wide receiver behind Mooney and Drake London, with Ray-Ray McCloud III, KhaDarel Hodge, and newly-signed DJ Chark the top candidates to get more playing time in Mooney's absence. San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (calf) is "day-to-day" and his calf is "bothering him," according to the team's offensive coordinator, Klay Kubiak. Jennings left practice on Sunday due to the injury and also missed time with the same ailment earlier this offseason. The 28-year-old has also made it clear he wants a new contract, so his motivation to return to the field before an extension on his current deal is in place could be limited. Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (knee) returned to practice on Tuesday, according to Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News. Kincaid missed practice on Monday due to left knee soreness, but it doesn't appear to be a serious issue. The former first-round pick is coming off a disappointing 2024 campaign where he played in 13 games, recording 44 catches for 448 yards and two touchdowns. Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam said he is "cautiously optimistic" that rookie running back Quinshon Judkins will play for the Browns this season, according to Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN. Judkins was arrested on domestic violence charges earlier in July and remains unsigned as a result. The Browns drafted Judkins in the second round out of Ohio State, where he collected over 1,200 yards from scrimmage and 16 touchdowns in 2024. Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy (head) "banged his head" and left the team's Tuesday practice early, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. The severity of Worthy's injury is unclear, but he may be facing the NFL's concussion protocol before he can return to the practice field. As a rookie in 2024, Worthy played all 17 games for Kansas City and logged 59 catches for 638 yards and six touchdowns. The second-year speedster is expected to take on a significant role in the Chiefs' offense once again in 2025. Kansas City has some depth at wide receiver between Worthy, Rashee Rice, Hollywood Brown, and rookie Jalen Royals. However, Rice may be facing an early-season suspension, and Brown is nursing an ankle injury.

Indianapolis Colts rookie tight end Tyler Warren took simulated handoffs from the fullback spot during positional drills at the team's Tuesday practice, according to Noah Compton of The Blue Stable Podcast. In his final collegiate season at Penn State, Warren recorded 26 carries for 218 yards and four touchdowns. His primary impact was as a receiver (104 catches for 1,233 yards), and that should continue in the NFL, but it's noteworthy that the Colts coaching staff is open to using Warren out of the backfield. Given that Indianapolis used their first-round selection in this year's draft on Warren, he should be a significant part of their offensive plan of attack. Chicago Bears rookie second-round wide receiver Luther Burden III (hamstring) made his return to team drills in training camp practice on Tuesday and was then promptly kicked out of drills by head coach Ben Johnson after a pre-snap alignment/motion issue, according to Adam Hoge of CHGO Sports. "It shows up already. I mean, we were in the walk-through yesterday afternoon and the misalignments - we have to re-huddle, we have to start it all over again. He's a little bit behind right now," Johnson said about the time that Burden has missed in camp. The 21-year-old missed OTAs, minicamp and the start of training camp, so the rookie is definitely behind, and it's showing. There's time for him to get it straightened out before the regular season, but he's off to a bad start as he competes with Olamide Zaccheaus for the WR3 role behind DJ Moore and Rome Odunze.

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks (calf) is dealing with a calf injury that he suffered in Monday's training camp practice, according to Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. It's unclear when Wicks will be able to return to practice, but he needs as many reps as possible as he fights for a depth role in what has become a crowded Packers receiving room, even with the injury to Christian Watson (knee). Jayden Reed and Romeo Doubs will likely be starters, while the Packers also drafted Matthew Golden in the first round back in April. So even if healthy, the 24-year-old Wicks could be fighting an uphill battle for a regular role in 2025. Wicks will need to clean up his issues with drops as well. The former fifth-rounder has plenty of separation skills but managed to catch only 39 of 76 targets for 415 yards and five touchdowns in 17 regular-season games (five starts) in his second year in 2024.

Washington Commanders rookie seventh-round running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt is getting reps with quarterback Jayden Daniels and the first-team offense in the no-huddle session during Tuesday's training camp practice. It's something worth watching for the 245th overall pick of the 2024 NFL draft back in April. The 24-year-old had 1,190 yards and 17 touchdowns in 2023 at New Mexico but then ran into eligibility issues in 2024 after transferring to Arizona and played in one game. It's the reason why he fell to the final round of the draft, although he does have some intrigue as a between-the-tackles bruiser. As long as Austin Ekeler and Brian Robinson Jr. are healthy, Croskey-Merritt figures to compete the No. 3 change-of-pace role with Chris Rodriguez and Jeremy McNichols. Fantasy managers in redraft leagues can likely ignore him.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (groin) tweaked his groin at training camp practice on Tuesday and had an ice pack on it while still in pads, according to Nate Atkins of the Indianapolis Star. Until we know more about Pittman's injury, we will consider him day-to-day. While Pittman will remain a key contributor in the passing attack for the Colts in 2025 if he's healthy, we saw last year that the emergence of Josh Downs definitely hurt his ceiling. The 27-year-old former second-rounder caught 69 of 111 targets for 808 yards and only three touchdowns in 16 games (14 starts). The less-than-stellar quarterback play from Anthony Richardson Sr. and Joe Flacco didn't help matters. Pittman also played through a back injury for much of the year. Better health would certainly help Pittman, but it's no secret that his fantasy stock has taken a hit as more of a WR4/flex heading into the 2025 season.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers Marquise Brown (ankle) and Skyy Moore (hamstring) both suffered injuries during Tuesday's training camp practice, according to head coach Andy Reid. Brown is the much bigger fantasy name of the two. Until we know more about the specific nature of his injury, he'll be considered day-to-day. But with Rashee Rice most likely facing a suspension of around three to four games to begin the 2025 season, Hollywood's status will be worth monitoring even more closely. The 28-year-old only ended up playing in two regular-season game and three playoff contests in 2024 in his first year in KC due to a serious shoulder injury he sustained in training camp last summer. While Brown didn't exactly stand out for fantasy purposes, he did serve as the WR2 behind Xavier Worthy. He can still create separation, but durability issues have become a major concern.

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. was seemingly the focus of the day in the backfield on Tuesday, getting plenty of work and busting a few impressive runs, according to SI.com's John Shipley. Meanwhile, Shipley says that fellow RB Tank Bigsby continued his strong training camp and made it to the second level of the defense a few times. Most folks are expecting Bigsby to take over Jacksonville's backfield in 2025 after running for a career-low 558 yards and two touchdowns in 15 starts in 2024 after going over the 1,000-yard rushing mark in his first two seasons. That could very well be the case, but Etienne also isn't going away anytime soon as long as he remains with the Jags. The former first-rounder should be a better scheme fit in head coach Liam Coen's offense, but the presence of Bigsby also probably caps his fantasy upside as an RB3/flex.

The New York Jets signed free-agent kicker Nick Folk to an undisclosed deal on Tuesday, according to head coach Aaron Glenn. The Jets waived kicker Caden Davis on Tuesday, so Folk's primary competition for the kicking job in New York will be UFL standout Harrison Mevis. The 40-year-old Folk will reunite with the Jets after kicking for them from 2010 to 2016. He spent the last two years with the Tennessee Titans and went 21-for-22 on his field-goal tries while making all 25 of his extra-point attempts in 14 games in 2024. As long as Folk doesn't really struggle or get injured in training camp and the preseason in his return to the Jets, he should be the favorite to win the job over Mevis. Heading into his 18th NFL season, Folk has a career 84.3% success rate on 479 field-goal attempts, including going 47-for-70 from 50-plus yards.

The Athletic's Matt Schneidman reports that Green Bay Packers running back MarShawn Lloyd (groin) suffered a groin injury in Monday's training camp practice and is not practicing on Tuesday, as expected. There was some worry when the Packers described Lloyd's injury as non-contact, and while he still could miss some time, at least it's not a non-contact knee injury. The 24-year-old only played in one game in 2024 in his rookie campaign, though, due to hip, hamstring, ankle and appendix issues. Another injury in training camp in his sophomore season isn't good news for the oft-injured back, but he could be ready to go for the start of the 2025 season. If Lloyd misses more time, it will give extra opportunities to both Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks behind RB1 Josh Jacobs in training camp.

The Minnesota Vikings made a sizable investment in running back Jordan Mason by signing him to a two-year contract worth $10.5 million this past offseason. According to ESPN's Kevin Seifert, Mason's playing time split with incumbent running back Aaron Jones will be "much closer" to 50-50 than previous RB1/RB2 splits in Minnesota under head coach Kevin O'Connell. In 12 games for the San Francisco 49ers last season, Mason logged 153 carries for 789 yards and three touchdowns. He wasn't utilized much as a receiver (11 catches), but Vikings offensive coordinator reportedly referred to him as a "natural catching the ball." If Minnesota views Mason as a three-down back, he could be in a fairly even time share with the 30-year-old Jones, whom O'Connell has spoken openly about reducing the workload for. Now might be the time for fantasy managers to invest in Mason, as more buzz about his usage could send him rocketing up draft boards.

New York Jets running back Braelon Allen (knee) is battling knee soreness and will be re-evaluated before the team's practice on Thursday, according to Andy Vasquez of NJ Advance Media. The second-year back served as the backup to Breece Hall last season, rushing for 334 yards and two touchdowns on 92 carries as a rookie. While Allen is still projected to be behind Hall on the Jets' RB depth chart, early reports have indicated that New York plans for a more committee-style backfield in 2025. At 235 lbs., Allen could be the primary goal-line and short-yardage back for the Jets this season, putting him in a position to potentially lead the backfield in rushing touchdowns. While this injury doesn't seem particularly serious, it's worth monitoring to see how much practice time it causes Allen to miss. With a new coaching staff in place for the Jets this year, every preseason rep will be valuable for Allen to build trust.
