Spencer Rattler Sep 27 9:40am CT
    Spencer Rattler

New Orleans Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler went 28-for-39 for 218 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 3's blowout loss to the Seahawks. The interception was his first turnover of the season, which was one of the few positives in what has otherwise been a rough beginning for New Orleans. Life won't get easier for the young quarterback, as the Saints now head to Buffalo to face a Bills defense allowing just 131.3 passing yards per game. Rattler is still searching for his first career win, sitting at 0-9 as a starter, and it wouldn't be surprising if rookie quarterback Tyler Shough sees action in a game that isn't expected to be close. Rattler should remain far from fantasy lineups this week.

Tyler Shough Sep 27 9:40am CT
    Tyler Shough

New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback Tyler Shough saw his first NFL action at the end of Week 3's 44-13 blowout loss to the Seahawks. He failed to complete either of his two pass attempts, but his appearance marked the first time he had stepped on the field in a regular-season game. The Saints now travel to Buffalo in Week 4 to face a Bills defense that has been dominant against the pass, allowing just 131.3 passing yards per game. Current starter Spencer Rattler is now 0-9, meaning the door may be opening for Shough to take over starting duties eventually. He is off the radar for now, but it would not be surprising to see him take over the starting spot if losses keep piling up.

Baker Mayfield Sep 27 9:00am CT
    Baker Mayfield

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield (bicep) and left tackle Tristan Wirfs (knee) are expected to play in Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Both players are listed as questionable. Mayfield has looked great through three games, totaling six touchdowns and zero interceptions while ranking as the overall QB10. His protection has taken a step back this year due to offensive line injuries, but he'll get a major reinforcement this week with Wirfs back in the mix. Wirfs missed the first three games of the season but could return to play every offensive snap in Week 4. His presence is key as the Buccaneers work to protect Mayfield's blindside.

Chris Godwin Sep 27 8:50am CT
    Chris Godwin

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (ankle) is expected to play in Sunday's Week 4 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. With that said, it's worth noting that NFL Network's Ian Rapoport indicated that Godwin could be on a snap count for his 2025 season debut. Even if he doesn't play a full array of snaps, Godwin is still an intriguing fantasy option. He excelled before getting hurt last year and should pick up right where he left off as he fills the void of Mike Evans (hamstring). He should be viewed as a mid-to-low WR2 this weekend, with the potential to climb up rankings even further going forward.

Shedeur Sanders Sep 27 8:30am CT
    Shedeur Sanders

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski offered a shoutout to quarterback Shedeur Sanders heading into Week 4 against the Detroit Lions. "[Sanders] has done a good job," Stefanski said. "I think all our guys feel like they're ready and they're working hard." These comments paint a slight picture of Sanders' potential role going forward, but they also fail to differentiate him from fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel or even current veteran starter Joe Flacco. Flacco earned himself some of the coaches' trust last week as he led the Browns to a victory over the Packers, who had been 2-0. As for Sanders, he'll continue to watch from the sideline and can be dropped in all redraft leagues.

Jayden Daniels Sep 27 8:30am CT
    Jayden Daniels

Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels (knee) was pushing to play against the Atlanta Falcons before ultimately being ruled out, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Instead, Daniels is now targeting a Week 5 return. Fowler noted that the former No. 2 pick could have possibly played this week if he were an older, less-mobile quarterback, but the fact that he likes to run with the football makes it tougher for him to play through a knee issue. Marcus Mariota will start at quarterback once again this week.

    From RotoBaller

Terry McLaurin Sep 27 8:30am CT
    Terry McLaurin

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quad) will not be placed on injured reserve as he works to recover from an injury suffered in Week 3 against the Las Vegas Raiders, according to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN. However, there is still some uncertainty surrounding his status, as he is being evaluated on a week-to-week basis and does not have a specific timetable for his return. The 31-year-old could be headed for a multi-game absence, putting Deebo Samuel Sr. in line to rank as a low-end WR2 while Zach Ertz, Jaylin Lane, and Luke McCaffrey also see opportunity spikes, too.

Kaleb Johnson Sep 27 8:20am CT
    Kaleb Johnson

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that he is "pleased" with running back Kaleb Johnson's progress, and he believes the rookie has "positioned himself to be a contributor" this week against the Minnesota Vikings. He acknowledged that Johnson has had to earn his way back into the offense after a costly special teams miscue back in Week 2. The 22-year-old had just two carries through his first two games before being a healthy scratch last weekend. It sounds like he'll play this Sunday, but his exact role remains up in the air. He should continue to be stashed on the bench in redraft leagues with at least 14 teams, as well as all dynasty formats.

    From RotoBaller

Spencer Shrader Sep 27 8:10am CT
    Spencer Shrader

Indianapolis Colts kicker Spencer Shrader has been busy to start the year, hitting 11 of his 12 field-goal attempts and all 10 of his extra-point tries. The veteran kicker will look to keep it going in a Week 4 road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have been generous to fantasy kickers thus far, allowing the sixth-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. The Colts have employed one of the best offenses in the league through three games and Shrader should continue to see plenty of point-scoring chances heading into Week 4. Treat him as a top-12 fantasy kicker this weekend.

Younghoe Koo Sep 27 8:10am CT
    Younghoe Koo

New York Giants kicker Graham Gano (groin) has been ruled out for Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Younghoe Koo will kick in his absence. Gano initially suffered the injury during warmups before last week's game against the Chiefs. He did convert a field goal in that game, but was still used sparingly. Now, there's a chance that he could be placed on IR as he recovers. Meanwhile, Koo was cut loose by the Falcons after missing a potential game-winning field goal in Week 1. He's capable of kicking far with accuracy, but his volume remains uncertain as the Giants could face some growing pains in quarterback Jaxson Dart's first career start.

Josh Downs Sep 27 8:00am CT
    Josh Downs

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs is off to a quiet start to the season, catching 10 passes for 97 scoreless yards through three games. As emerging as the Colts' top option in 2024, the slot receiver has taken a backseat to Michael Pittman Jr. and Tyler Warren in the team's passing attack with quarterback Daniel Jones under center. That being said, he could see more work come his way with Alec Pierce (concussion) already ruled out for Week 4. Downs will look to get on track in a road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. The Rams are allowing the 14th-most fantasy points per game to receivers this season. Downs sets up as a middling flex option in fantasy this weekend with the hope that he sees more targets with Pierce unavailable.

    From RotoBaller

Adonai Mitchell Sep 27 8:00am CT
    Adonai Mitchell

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Adonai Mitchell has been quiet through the first three games of the season, catching just four passes for 41 scoreless yards thus far. He has a chance to earn more work in Week 4, however, as Alec Pierce (concussion) has already been ruled out after suffering a concussion in Week 3. Mitchell will slide into the starting lineup across from Michael Pittman Jr. heading into a Week 4 road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. While it is a risky move for managers, Mitchell is on the board as a boom/bust flex option in fantasy heading into Sunday's games.

    From RotoBaller

Tyler Warren Sep 27 8:00am CT
    Tyler Warren

Indianapolis Colts tight end Tyler Warren will look to continue a hot start to his rookie season in a Week 4 road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. Warren has caught 14 passes for 193 yards through three games as he and Michael Pittman Jr. have been the focal points for Daniel Jones in the passing attack. The Rams represent a decent matchup for Warren as they are allowing the 18th-most fantasy points per game to tight ends this year. Warren sets up as a top-eight fantasy tight end heading into Week 4.

    From RotoBaller

DJ Giddens Sep 27 7:50am CT
    DJ Giddens

Indianapolis Colts running back DJ Giddens has become an afterthought in his team's offense. The rookie saw 12 carries in Week 1 but has handled just one touch in the two games since, as Indy has leaned heavily on starter Jonathan Taylor. The return to health of Tyler Goodson has also cut into Giddens' workload as the former is now over a preseason elbow injury. It appears that Goodson is still behind Giddens for now, as he saw four snaps to Giddens' eight in Week 3, but his return to health muddies the backup running-back role in Indianapolis. For now, Giddens remains the better stash in case of injury to Taylor, but neither he nor Goodson is a must-roster heading into a Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams.

    From RotoBaller

Michael Pittman Jr. Sep 27 7:50am CT
    Michael Pittman Jr.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. has emerged as the favorite target of new quarterback Daniel Jones through the first three weeks of the season. Pittman has been excellent thus far, catching 16 passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns, easily pacing the Colts in all three categories. The veteran wideout will look to keep it going in a Week 4 road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have been decent against wideouts this season, allowing the 14th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Pittman should remain the focal point of the Indy offense as they look to improve to 4-0 on the year. He sets up as a high-end WR3/flex option in Week 4.

    From RotoBaller

Jonathan Taylor Sep 27 7:40am CT
    Jonathan Taylor

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has been one of the top fantasy players through the first three weeks of the season, rushing for 338 yards and three touchdowns while adding 93 receiving yards and another score through the air. Taylor will look to stay hot in Week 4 in a road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams represent a tough matchup for Taylor as they are allowing the fewest fantasy points per game to the running back position through three weeks. That being said, Taylor remains one of the few true workhorses left in the league and can still be trusted as a top-six fantasy running back this weekend despite the difficult matchup.

    From RotoBaller

Daniel Jones Sep 27 7:30am CT
    Daniel Jones

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones' performance has been a pleasant surprise over the first month of the season. Jones has led one of the top offenses in the league thus far, throwing for 816 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions while adding three rushing touchdowns. The Colts will look to stay hot in a road matchup against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams are allowing the 17th-most fantasy points per game to opposing quarterbacks, giving Jones a decent matchup to stay hot. He checks in as a low-end QB1 in fantasy heading into Sunday.

    From RotoBaller

Jake Tonges Sep 27 4:50am CT
    Jake Tonges

San Francisco 49ers tight end Jake Tonges has emerged as the team's top receiving option at the position during George Kittle's (hamstring) absence. Even though Luke Farrell is listed at the top of the team's depth chart, Tonges has more targets (11, to Farrell's four) and is seeing considerably more time on the field. Still, Tonges is well behind Christian McCaffrey and the 49ers' wide receiver corps in the pecking order of pass distribution. However, there is a chance for Tonges to get more attention in Week 4, since Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Jauan Jennings (ankle/shoulder) are both questionable. Also benefiting Tonges is the return of quarterback Brock Purdy (toe/shoulder) following a two-week absence. Even with those factors in play, Tonges is projected just outside of TE2 territory and should be left on the waiver wire for Week 4.

    From RotoBaller

Kendrick Bourne Sep 27 4:40am CT
    Kendrick Bourne

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne drew a start in Week 3, thanks to Jauan Jennings (ankle/shoulder) being scratched just hours before gametime. With Demarcus Robinson returning from suspension this week, the expectation was that Bourne would be crowded out of the wide receiver rotation. However, the door may be open for a second start as both Jennings and Ricky Pearsall (knee) are listed as questionable for Week 4. Last week, Bourne turned six targets into four catches for 38 yards. With Brock Purdy (toe/shoulder) deemed Sunday's starter, Bourne would see better quarterbacking than he had with Mac Jones (knee) under center, improving his odds for a more productive day. Everything rides on the health of his teammates, though, so interested fantasy managers need to monitor the situation through the weekend.

    From RotoBaller

Jordan Watkins Sep 27 4:40am CT
    Jordan Watkins

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jordan Watkins (calf) has been ruled out for the team's Week 4 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Watkins is listed with a calf injury, a possible symptom of the high ankle sprain he suffered in the first week of preseason action. He was cleared to make his regular season debut in Week 2, but was ultimately declared inactive ahead of the game. In Week 3, he had one limited practice sandwiched between two DNPs and did not practice at all this week. Even after he heals, he has little to no value in fantasy football (dynasty leagues excepted), as it will be hard for the rookie to crack the rotation of Ricky Pearsall (knee), Jauan Jennings (ankle/shoulder), and Demarcus Robinson at the top of the depth chart.
