Dalvin Tomlinson Mar 11 12:20am ET
    Dalvin Tomlinson

The Cleveland Browns notified defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson that he will be released at the start of the new league year on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Tomlinson will be designated as a post-June 1 cut and can officially sign with a new team on Wednesday. The 31-year-old veteran interior defensive lineman started 16 games for the Browns in each of the last two seasons and had three sacks in both years as well. He had 26 tackles (13 solo), six tackles for loss and a career-high 18 QB hits in 2024. Regardless of where Tomlinson lands, he can be avoided in IDP fantasy leagues, having never recorded more than 3.5 sacks in a single season in his eight years in the league. Tomlinson was originally a second-round pick (55th overall) in 2017 by the New York Giants out of Alabama. He spent the first four years of his career before joining the Minnesota Vikings in 2021 and 2022.

Najee Harris Mar 11 12:13am ET
    Najee Harris

Dynasty | The Chargers have signed former Steelers running back Najee Harris. Dynasty Analysis: The former first round pick had an up and down tenure with Pittsburgh, posting 4,312 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns over 68 starts in four seasons. While he's been extremely durable (he's yet to miss a single game in his career due to injury), he's also averaged less than four yards per carry and hasn't proven to be dynamic in the pass catching department either. He signs with the Chargers on a one-year "prove it" deal, so he'll certainly be motivated. Harris projects as the starter in Los Angeles and should remain a pretty solid RB2 moving forward.

Jameis Winston Mar 11 12:10am ET
    Jameis Winston

The San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Chargers have been in talks with Cleveland Browns impending free-agent quarterback Jameis Winston for potential backup roles, a league source told Josina Anderson. Another team to watch could be the New York Giants, depending on how their talks with other signal-callers go. The 31-year-old former first overall pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2015 out of Florida State played in 12 games (seven starts) for the Browns after Deshaun Watson went down with a torn Achilles last year. He initially gave the Browns offense a spark but ended up committing 14 turnovers in 12 games and was eventually benched in a lost season. Even with Watson unlikely to play in 2025, Winston isn't expected to return to Cleveland. The turnover-prone gunslinger would back up Justin Herbert in L.A. and Brock Purdy in San Francisco.

Joey Bosa Mar 11 12:10am ET
    Joey Bosa

The San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins have each made offers to free-agent edge rusher Joey Bosa in the same relative price range, according to The Athletic's Michael Silver. The former Los Angeles Chargers pass-rusher would receive less than $10 million in 2025 in either scenario. Bosa, the former third overall pick by the Chargers in 2016 out of Ohio State, was a salary cap casualty for the Bolts this offseason because of the fact that he just couldn't stay on the field due to injuries. The 29-year-old five-time Pro Bowler and former Defensive Rookie of the Year managed to play in 14 regular-season games (nine starts) in 2024 in his final season in L.A. and had 22 tackles (17 solo), five sacks, five tackles for loss, 13 QB hits and two forced fumbles. He can still be effective as more of a situational pass-rusher, and if he signs in San Fran, he'd have the opportunity to play opposite his brother Nick.

Michael Hoecht Mar 10 11:50pm ET
    Michael Hoecht

The Buffalo Bills signed former Los Angeles Rams linebacker Michael Hoecht on a three-year deal on Monday worth a maximum value of $24 million, his agents told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Hoecht heads to the AFC East and all the way across the country after spending the first four years of his NFL career in L.A., where he produced 180 total tackles (98 solo), 13.5 sacks, 15 tackles for loss, 26 QB hits, four pass breakups and two forced fumbles in 68 regular-season games (31 starts). The 27-year-old former undrafted free agent out of Brown had 56 tackles (24 solo), three sacks, six QB hits and two pass breakups in 17 regular-season games (five starts) in 2024. Hoecht will not be on the fantasy radar in IDP formats and will most likely serve in a rotational depth role behind edge rushers A.J. Epenesa and Greg Rousseau.

Robert Spillane Mar 10 11:50pm ET
    Robert Spillane

Pittsburgh Steelers free-agent linebacker Elandon Roberts reached an agreement on Monday night with the Las Vegas Raiders on a one-year, $3 million contract, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal was negotiated by agent Drew Rosenhaus. Roberts will help replace standout linebacker Robert Spillane in 2025. The 30-year-old veteran spent the last two seasons in Pittsburgh. After 100-plus-tackle seasons with the Miami Dolphins in 2022 and the Steelers in 2023, Roberts took a step back last year with only 46 tackles (24 solo), one sack, five tackles for loss and a forced fumble in 17 regular-season games (14 starts). The former sixth-round selection (214th overall) by the New England Patriots in 2016 out of Houston played fewer than 50 percent of the defensive snaps in his final season in Pittsburgh but should have a shot a a near every-down role again in Vegas.

Jonathan Allen Mar 10 11:40pm ET
    Jonathan Allen

Two-time Pro Bowl defensive lineman Jonathan Allen was visiting with the Minnesota Vikings on Monday, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. The Washington Commanders gave Allen permission to seek a trade before eventually releasing him last Friday after eight years in D.C. The 30-year-old veteran pass-rusher had only three sacks in eight regular-season games (seven starts) in his final year in Washington, but he shouldn't be without a home for much longer this offseason. The Vikings could use some extra help in the pass-rush department, even if Allen is more of a situational defensive tackle at this point in his career. He was the 17th overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft out of Alabama and has plenty of experience with 401 tackles (242 solo), 42 sacks, 60 tackles for loss, 118 QB hits, an interception, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 109 games (108 starts).

Dre Greenlaw Mar 10 11:30pm ET
    Dre Greenlaw

The Denver Broncos are expected to sign San Francisco 49ers standout linebacker Dre Greenlaw to a three-year deal worth $35 million, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Greenlaw will essentially help make up for the loss of linebacker Cody Barton, who signed a three-year deal to join the Tennessee Titans. The 27-year-old Greenlaw had 100-plus combined tackles for the Niners in 2022 and 2023 before tearing his Achilles in the Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in February of last year. He ended up playing in only two games for the Niners in 2024 as a result and had nine tackles (three solo). The former fifth-round selection (148th overall) in the 2019 NFL draft out of Arkansas only has 3.5 sacks in his six NFL seasons, but if he can return to his pre-injury form in Denver, an already strong Broncos defense will get even more formidable in 2025 and beyond.

    From RotoBaller

Byron Murphy Mar 10 11:30pm ET
    Byron Murphy

The Minnesota Vikings and Pro Bowl cornerback Byron Murphy agreed to terms on a three-year, $66 million deal ($22 million per year) on Monday, sources tell NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Murphy will remain in Minnesota and will be handsomely rewarded after his breakout 2024 campaign. The 27-year-old former second-round pick (33rd overall) by the Arizona Cardinals in 2019 out of the University of Washington had a career-high 81 tackles (62 solo), six tackles for loss, a career-high six interceptions, 14 pass breakups and a forced fumble in 17 regular-season starts in 2024 in his second year in Minnesota. For his efforts a season ago, Murphy becomes the third-highest-paid cornerback in the league, behind only Jalen Ramsey and Patrick Surtain. Murphy will be looking to remain a ball-hawking defensive back for the Vikings under defensive coordinator Brian Flores in 2025.

Nakobe Dean Mar 10 11:20pm ET
    Nakobe Dean

The Cincinnati Bengals agreed to a two-year, $5 million deal with former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Oren Burks on Monday, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Burks will have an opportunity to start for a Bengals defense that was their weak spot in 2024. The 29-year-old stepped up for the injured Nakobe Dean in the playoffs and had 25 tackles (three for loss), a sack, two QB hits and a pass breakup to help the team eventually make it to the Super Bowl and beat the Kansas City Chiefs. The former third-rounder (88th overall) by the Green Bay Packers in 2018 out of Vanderbilt had 41 tackles (20 solo), a pass breakup and two forced fumbles for the Eagles in 17 regular-season games (two starts) in his lone season with the team in 2024. Burks has only 17 starts in his seven NFL seasons, but he is in line to step into an expanded role for the first time in his career in Cincinnati in 2025.

    From RotoBaller

Russell Wilson Mar 10 11:10pm ET
    Russell Wilson

While the Tennessee Titans have Pittsburgh Steelers impending free-agent quarterback Russell Wilson on their radar, Yahoo Sports' Charles Robinson writes that he gets the sense that the Titans don't have strong interest in him. Robinson believes Wilson's market beyond the New York Giants is pretty flat at the moment, and University of Miami QB Cam Ward remains in play for the team if they keep the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming draft. The Cleveland Browns traded for Kenny Pickett on Monday, but it's not out of the question that they'd add Wilson as competition under center for 2025 with Deshaun Watson (Achilles) unlikely to play at all. The Steelers seem intent on going after future Hall of Famer Aaron Rodgers instead of running it back with Wilson after he lost the final five games of the year. The 36-year-old can still throw a great deep ball but doesn't have a lot left otherwise. Landing in New York and working with Malik Nabers would be a best-case scenario for his diminishing fantasy value.

Tershawn Wharton Mar 10 11:10pm ET
    Tershawn Wharton

Former Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton signed a three-year deal worth over $54 million on Monday with the Carolina Panthers, multiple sources told FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Wharton earned the big payday this offseason by leading the Chiefs with 8.5 sacks last year, including the playoffs. In 17 regular-season games (10 starts), he had 29 tackles (18 solo), a career-high 6.5 sacks, seven tackles for loss, 11 QB hits, two pass breakups and a forced fumble in his fifth year in the NFL. The 26-year-old pass-rusher entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri S&T and will now head to the NFC South after racking up 114 tackles (56 solo), 13.5 sacks, 14 tackles for loss, 26 QB hits, one interception, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 72 games (13 starts). The Panthers continue to add to a defense that allowed the most points in the league in 2024.

Aaron Rodgers Mar 10 11:00pm ET
    Aaron Rodgers

The Pittsburgh Steelers and soon-to-be free-agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers could have an agreement in place as soon as Tuesday, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. Justin Fields signed a two-year deal with the New York Jets on Monday, and Sam Darnold agreed to join the Seattle Seahawks, so the options at QB for the Steelers are dwindling. The Steelers began talking with Rodgers several days ago, although he won't be able to officially sign until Wednesday when the Jets release him. The New York Giants could still remain in play for the future Hall of Famer if they make him a better offer, but one big factor could be Rodgers' desire to play two more years. Rodgers is far more likely to get a second season in Pittsburgh, and the receiver tandem of George Pickens and DK Metcalf is also more appealing. Even though Rodgers would have some solid receiving options in Pittsburgh, he'd still likely be no more than a risky QB2 in superflex leagues if he were to land in the Steel City. Stay tuned.

    From RotoBaller

Cody Barton Mar 10 11:00pm ET
    Cody Barton

Free-agent linebacker Cody Barton agreed to a three-year, $21 million deal on Monday with the Tennessee Titans, his agents told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. It's a big pickup for the Titans and a big loss for the Denver Broncos after Barton posted three straight seasons of 100-plus combined tackles with the Broncos, Seattle Seahawks and Washington Commanders. In his lone season in Denver, the 28-year-old had 106 tackles (53 solo), 1.5 sacks, two interceptions, five pass breakups, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown in 17 regular-season games (14 starts). After three straight strong seasons with three different teams, Barton will head to the fourth team of his NFL career and is expected to be Tennessee's starting inside linebacker. While Barton has only 3.5 sacks in his six NFL seasons, he'll be on the fantasy radar in deeper IDP leagues because of his tackling ability alone.

Nate Hobbs Mar 10 10:50pm ET
    Nate Hobbs

The Green Bay Packers signed former Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Nate Hobbs to a four-year, $48 million deal on Monday that includes $16 million guaranteed, a source told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Hobbs will head to the NFC North after spending the first four years of his career with the Raiders after they made him a fifth-round selection (167th overall) in 2021 out of Illinois. Hobbs played in only 11 games (seven starts) for Vegas in his final year with the team in 2024 and recorded a career-low 49 tackles (33 solo), an interception and five pass breakups. He established himself as a solid slot cornerback in his first three years with the Raiders, though, and has 281 total tackles (200 solo), three sacks, 14 tackles for loss, eight QB hits, three interceptions, 19 pass breakups, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in his four seasons. Hobbs will essentially be replacing Jaire Alexander in 2025.

    From RotoBaller

Geno Smith Mar 10 10:30pm ET
    Geno Smith

The Las Vegas Raiders surprisingly acquired quarterback Geno Smith from the Seattle Seahawks last Friday in exchange for a third-round pick in this year's draft and are now likely to reward him with a long-term contract extension that he was hoping the Seahawks would give him, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The addition of Smith doesn't necessarily mean the Raiders won't take a rookie signal-caller with the seventh overall pick in this year's draft, but it's probably much less likely now that they've addressed the most important position in football for the foreseeable future. The 34-year-old Smith was a Pro Bowler in 2022 and 2023 in Seattle and threw for 4,320 yards, 21 TDs and 15 interceptions in 17 games last year. He is going from a receiving corps of DK Metcalf, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Tyler Lockett to Jakobi Meyers and tight end Brock Bowers, so it's a downgrade in terms of weapons. Depending on what else the Raiders do in free agency and the draft, Smith profiles as a midrange QB2, at best, heading into 2025.

    From RotoBaller

Malcolm Koonce Mar 10 10:20pm ET
    Malcolm Koonce

The Las Vegas Raiders re-signed defensive end Malcolm Koonce (knee) on Monday to a one-year, $12 million deal, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The Raiders selected Koonce in the third round (79th overall) in the 2021 draft out of Buffalo. He will return for a fifth season in Sin City despite suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week 1 of last year against the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers. In his three seasons with the Raiders, the 26-year-old pass-rusher has accumulated 55 tackles (40 solo), 10 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, 19 QB hits and three forced fumbles in 39 games (11 starts). Koonce had a career-high eight sacks in 2023, so the Raiders weren't quite ready to move on after his unfortunate knee injury in 2024. If Koonce is fully recovered from the knee injury that kept him out all of last year, he should start opposite All-Pro pass-rusher Maxx Crosby.

    From RotoBaller

Jeremy Chinn Mar 10 10:10pm ET
    Jeremy Chinn

The Las Vegas Raiders agreed to terms with free-agent safety Jeremy Chinn on Monday on a two-year deal for over $16 million with over 75 percent of the deal fully guaranteed at signing, a source told NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Chinn will head to the AFC West after spending one year with the Washington Commanders in 2024, where he had a career-high 117 tackles (73 solo), a career-high two sacks, seven tackles for loss, an interception, five pass breakups, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries in 17 regular-season starts. The 27-year-old also had 29 tackles (17 solo) and an interception in three playoffs games in which he played all of the defensive snaps. It's a big pickup for the Raiders secondary, as Chinn has three 100-plus-tackle seasons in his five years in the NFL after the Carolina Panthers made him a second-round pick (64th overall) in 2020 out of Southern Illinois. Chinn will be back on the IDP radar in 2025.

Josh Sweat Mar 10 10:00pm ET
    Josh Sweat

Free-agent linebacker Josh Sweat and the Arizona Cardinals reached an agreement on Monday on a four-year deal worth $76.4 million, including $41 million guaranteed, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal was negotiated by agent Drew Rosenhaus. Sweat will head to the desert after seven seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles. The former fourth-round pick (130th overall) in 2018 out of Florida State was a Pro Bowler in 2021 and had a career-high 11 sacks in 16 starts in 2022. In 2024, Sweat finished with 41 tackles (27 solo), eight sacks, nine tackles for loss, 15 QB hits and two pass breakups in 16 regular-season games (15 starts). The 27-year-old pass-rusher added 2.5 sacks in the Super Bowl victory over the Chiefs and has six-plus sacks in five straight seasons. It is a much-needed addition to a Cardinals pass rush that didn't put much heat on opposing quarterbacks in 2024.

    From RotoBaller

Kyler Murray Mar 10 10:00pm ET
    Kyler Murray

The Arizona Cardinals re-signed offensive guard Evan Brown to a two-year deal worth $11.5 million on Monday, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero. Brown was a valuable part of the Cardinals' offensive line last year and started in all 17 regular-season games. The 28-year-old former undrafted free agent out of SMU has already played with six different teams in his six years in the NFL. He debuted in 2019 with the New York Giants but also played with the Miami Dolphins that same season. Brown has also bounced around with the Cleveland Browns, Detroit Lions and Seattle Seahawks before finding a home in the desert. He should be the starter at left guard again heading into the 2025 regular season. Bringing Brown back is good news for quarterback Kyler Murray and the Cardinals' rushing attack.
