The Seattle Seahawks have reportedly interviewed Byron Leftwich for their vacant offensive coordinator job. Leftwich hasn't coached in the NFL since the 2022 season when he was the offensive coordinator with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Leftwich saw plenty of success during his time in Tampa Bay, including a Super Bowl victory in 2020. He recently interviewed for the New England Patriots head coaching job, but the team decided to go with Mike Vrabel instead. Leftwich had some top ranked offenses during his time in Tampa Bay, but it declined during his final year with the team. Minnesota Vikings assistant offensive coordinator/assistant quarterbacks coach Grant Udinski will return for a second interview with the Seattle Seahawks for their offensive-coordinator position on Friday, according to sources. Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that rookie running back Ray Davis (concussion) remains in the league's concussion protocol on Friday. Davis suffered a scary concussion in the wild-card win over the Denver Broncos last Sunday and never returned to the game.
