Christian Watson Oct 25 3:40pm CT
    Christian Watson

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (knee) has been activated from injured reserve and is set to make his season debut on Sunday night when the Packers face the Pittsburgh Steelers. The former second-round pick has been on the shelf since suffering an ACL injury during the 2024 campaign. However, Watson was able to return to practice earlier this month and has finally been cleared to return to action. Last season, the North Dakota State product tallied a career-high 620 receiving yards on just 29 receptions through 15 games. With Dontayvion Wicks (calf) already ruled out and rookie Matthew Golden (hip) carrying a questionable tag, Watson could be in line for a prominent role this weekend. He is worth a look as a high-upside WR3 in all formats facing a struggling Pittsburgh secondary.

Isiah Pacheco Oct 25 3:40pm CT
    Isiah Pacheco

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco will take on the Washington Commanders in Week 8. The Chiefs running back handled 15 carries for 57 yards and a touchdown in their 31-0 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7. Pacheco has seemingly taken over the lead role out of the Kansas City backfield, handling at least 12 carries and 50 yards in each of the past two weeks. Pacheco has quietly been efficient with his touches, averaging at least 4.5 yards per carry in more than half of his games. The struggles of the Kansas City run game early on could more likely be attributed to the inefficiency of Kareem Hunt and the team's dedication to keeping him involved. Pacheco should continue being the lead back this week against the Commanders, who have been middle-of-the-pack in fantasy points allowed to opposing running backs this season. The 26-year-old back should see a high volume of touches in a home game that the Chiefs have favored by nearly 12 points. Pacheco is ranked RB23 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a low-end RB2 option on Monday night.

Drake London Oct 25 3:40pm CT
    Drake London

According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, the Atlanta Falcons have downgraded wide receiver Drake London (hip) to questionable. London was able to practice in full on Wednesday and Thursday but was limited on Friday. While he did not carry a designation on Friday's injury report, it now appears his status for Sunday's game could be in doubt. Managers should closely monitor his status leading up to Sunday's game. The former eighth overall pick is coming off a quiet showing in Week 7, where he caught just four passes for 42 yards. However, in his previous two games, London tallied 134.0 yards per game and averaged a stellar 28.4 PPR points per game during this stretch. If London were to miss Sunday's contest, Darnell Mooney would carry WR2 upside while Kyle Pitts Sr. would project as a strong TE1.

Marquise Brown Oct 25 3:30pm CT
    Marquise Brown

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquise Brown will take on the Washington Commanders in Week 8. After an explosive 10-catch performance in Week 1 against the Los Angeles Chargers, Brown has caught more than four passes just once. The veteran receiver only caught two passes for 14 yards in Week 7, but he did manage to find the endzone. Brown has recently been a scoring threat for the Chiefs, finding paydirt in three of the last four games. Those touchdowns are the only things keeping Brown's fantasy value afloat since he'll be behind Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and Travis Kelce in the pecking order moving forward. He'll look to find the endzone this week against the Commanders, who have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. Brown is ranked WR47 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making a desperation flex play even with six teams on bye this week.

    From RotoBaller

Xavier Worthy Oct 25 3:20pm CT
    Xavier Worthy

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy will face the Washington Commanders on Monday night in Week 8. Worthy was listed on the injury report with shoulder and ankle injuries, but practiced fully all week and does not have an injury designation ahead of this week's contest. Worthy had a pedestrian performance in Week 7, catching three passes for 35 yards in the 31-0 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. With the return of Rashee Rice from suspension in Week 7, Worthy was relegated to a more complementary role in the offense. Worthy's production moving forward will likely be sporadic, given that he was one of five Chiefs to catch at least three passes in last week's contest. The speedy wideout is more of a downfield winner with the ability to produce big plays, but his fantasy production could be lacking if he doesn't hit on one of those plays. Worthy will look to break off an explosive play this week against the Commanders, who have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. Worthy is ranked WR21 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a viable WR2 option during a week with six teams on bye.

    From RotoBaller

Rashee Rice Oct 25 3:10pm CT
    Rashee Rice

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice will take on the Washington Commanders in Week 8. Rice returned from suspension in Week 7 and immediately stepped back into the WR1 role for Kansas City. The 25-year-old caught seven passes for 42 yards and two touchdowns in the dominating 31-0 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders last week. All that production came on nearly 40% of the offensive snaps as the Chiefs eased him back into action, and the game was not competitive down the stretch. Rice came out of last week's matchup feeling good, and the Chiefs should continue ramping him up each week. Rice should have no issues producing this week against the Commanders, who have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers this season. Rice is ranked WR4 in our RotoBaller Half-PPR rankings, making him a high-end WR1 option on Monday night.

    From RotoBaller

Patrick Mahomes Oct 25 3:00pm CT
    Patrick Mahomes

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will take on the Washington Commanders on Monday night in Week 8. Mahomes and the Chiefs dominated the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 7, defeating them 31-0. The Chiefs quarterback completed 26 of 35 pass attempts (74%) for 286 yards and three touchdowns last week while also gaining 28 yards on the ground. Mahomes continues to one-up himself each week, establishing a new season-high in completion rate while racking up his second-highest passing yardage total of the year. The Kansas City superstar should continue rolling this week against the Commanders, who have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks this season. With a plethora of receiving options, Mahomes should continue to thrive as one of the most valuable quarterbacks in fantasy. Mahomes is ranked QB1 again in our RotoBaller rankings, making him a must-start option on Monday night.

    From RotoBaller

Devin Neal Oct 25 2:10pm CT
    Devin Neal

New Orleans Saints rookie running back Devin Neal has seen very limited usage so far this season, recording just three carries for 10 yards in the three games he's been active for. However, with Saints back Kendre Miller (knee) suffering a season-ending knee injury in Week 7, Neal now slots into the team's RB2 role behind veteran Alvin Kamara. Before getting injured, Miller had recorded at least nine touches in four consecutive games. There's no guarantee that Neal will assume the same workload that Miller had. However, there's no question that Neal's role in the offense will grow to some degree. The Saints have a tough matchup in Week 8 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who are allowing just 3.9 yards per carry. That makes Neal tough to trust for fantasy managers in Week 8. Still, Neal could be a player worth stashing in deep leagues for his season-long upside.

    From RotoBaller

Kareem Hunt Oct 25 2:00pm CT
    Kareem Hunt

Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt (ankle) is off the injury report and "good to go" for his team's Week 8 matchup against the Washington Commanders on Monday night, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Hunt suffered an ankle injury during Kansas City's Week 7 win over the Las Vegas Raiders. He was able to return to the game, but recorded a season-low four touches. Across seven games this season, Hunt has recorded 260 yards from scrimmage and three touchdowns on 60 total touches. The Chiefs have split backfield work between Hunt, Isiah Pacheco, and Brashard Smith so far in 2025. Given that Hunt was limited in practice this week due to the ankle injury, he's unlikely to have a workhorse role against Washington. At best, Hunt profiles as a deep-league desperation flex option for fantasy managers in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

    Lil'Jordan Humphrey Oct 25 1:50pm CT
    Lil'Jordan Humphrey

New York Giants wide receiver Lil'Jordan Humphrey has appeared in two games this season, recording four catches for 55 yards on 10 targets. All four of his catches and eight of his targets came in Week 6 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Humphrey and the Giants will face Philadelphia for the second time in three weeks in Week 8. However, New York will have wide receiver Darius Slayton back on the field after Slayton missed Week 6 due to a hamstring injury. Slayton's return to the lineup appears likely to relegate Humphrey to a minimal role in the Giants' offense. Humphrey does not project to provide fantasy-relevant production in Week 8 and should be avoided by fantasy managers.

    From RotoBaller

Matt Prater Oct 25 1:50pm CT
    Matt Prater

Buffalo Bills kicker Matt Prater enters Week 8 as a must-start option facing off against Carolina. The Panthers rank as a top-10 defense in yards allowed, and have allowed scores on just 37.7% of drives, ranking No. 12 currently. The Panthers' ability to slow offenses could lead to multiple opportunities for Prater to put up points this week. The Bills maintain a high-powered offense that can score on anyone, and Prater should benefit again this week.

    From RotoBaller

Darius Slayton Oct 25 1:40pm CT
    Darius Slayton

New York Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton will return to the field in Week 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles after missing each of his team's last two games due to a hamstring injury. Slayton has recorded 12 catches for 166 yards on 18 targets across five games so far this season. However, he recorded a season-high six targets in Week 5, the lone game he has played in since star Giants wideout Malik Nabers (knee) was lost for the season with a knee injury. Slayton recorded 14 catches for 179 yards and a touchdown on 22 targets across the two games that Nabers missed in 2024. The Giants have a difficult matchup on the road against the Eagles in Week 8. Philadelphia has allowed the second-fewest receiving touchdowns (seven) in the NFL in 2025. Still, Slayton has clear target volume upside and profiles as a low-end WR4/flex option for fantasy managers in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

Dawson Knox Oct 25 1:40pm CT
    Dawson Knox

Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox could continue to see the bulk of the snap share, as Dalton Kincaid (oblique) remains questionable for Week 8. Despite the increased opportunities, Knox has failed to cash in. The seven-year veteran saw just two targets in their last game, but did haul in a 19-yard touchdown. Knox remains a touchdown-dependent play this week, but with the other weapons on the team, he is hard to trust for fantasy purposes. The Bills will need to limit the Panthers' offense to give the team extra opportunities against a stingy top-10 defense this week.

    From RotoBaller

Khalil Shakir Oct 25 1:30pm CT
    Khalil Shakir

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir should be viewed as a flex play heading into a tough Week 8 matchup with the Panthers' ninth-ranked pass defense. Shakir leads the Bills with 25 receptions on the year, operating in an efficient passing game led by quarterback Josh Allen. With Dalton Kincaid (oblique) questionable for Sunday, the 25-year-old receiver could see an uptick in his target share and red zone usage. Look for the Bills to apply pressure on the defense early, and turn the game into a shootout to put pressure on Panthers backup quarterback Andy Dalton.

    From RotoBaller

Trey Hendrickson Oct 25 1:30pm CT
    Trey Hendrickson

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson (hip) is expected to play in Week 8 against the New York Jets, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Hendrickson missed Cincinnati's Week 7 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a hip issue. The 30-year-old has recorded four sacks, eight QB hits, and a forced fumble across six games played in 2025. Pro Football Focus has graded Hendrickson as the 10th-best edge rusher in the NFL so far this season, so his presence on the field makes a huge impact for the Bengals' defense. Jets quarterback Justin Fields has taken 22 sacks in six games this season, meaning Hendrickson could be well-positioned for a monster game in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

Keon Coleman Oct 25 1:30pm CT
    Keon Coleman

Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman continues to operate as an every-down receiver, logging 86% of the team's snaps in Week 6. Despite the playing time, Coleman has failed to eclipse 50 receiving yards in any game since their Week 1 matchup with the Ravens. With his target share limited, Coleman has become tough to trust on an offense that has spread the ball around in the passing game and leaned heavily on their rushing attack. With Joshua Palmer (knee/ankle) out and Dalton Kincaid (oblique) questionable, Coleman could see a rise in targets, but will need to show some consistency before jumping back into a fantasy lineup. Continue to proceed cautiously with the young receiver.

    From RotoBaller

Ray Davis Oct 25 1:20pm CT
    Ray Davis

Buffalo Bills running back Ray Davis hauled in two receptions, including a touchdown against the Falcons in Week 6. Despite his season-high production, Davis remains strictly a handcuff for James Cook, as he has seen less than three touches in every game outside of the team's Week 2 blowout of the Jets. Davis accounts for just 7% of the team's rushing attempts this season, and has been targeted just four times in the passing game. Expect to see a hard-fought matchup with a stingy Panthers defense that will likely keep the Bills starters on the field throughout the game, making Davis nothing more than a handcuff for Cook.

    From RotoBaller

Shedeur Sanders Oct 25 1:20pm CT
    Shedeur Sanders

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders (back) is a late addition to the injury report due to a back injury and is officially listed as questionable for his team's Week 8 matchup against the New England Patriots. The Browns announced that quarterback Bailey Zappe was elevated from the practice squad for Week 8, and Zappe appears likely to serve as the team's backup to Dillon Gabriel if Sanders is unable to play against New England. Sanders has yet to make his NFL debut and has served as Cleveland's QB2 since the team traded away former starter Joe Flacco in early October. In three starts since taking over for Flacco, Gabriel has thrown for 527 yards and two touchdowns. Sanders may get his opportunity at some point this season, but it appears unlikely to be in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

James Cook Oct 25 1:10pm CT
    James Cook

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook should be started with confidence as the team travels to Carolina to face the Panthers in Week 8. While the Bills have struggled through back-to-back losses, they should be back on track following their Week 7 bye. Cook's success has driven the offense to this point, as he's averaging 21.3 fantasy points in wins, but just 6.8 in their losses. Cook remains the featured back in Buffalo and should continue to see consistent targets in the passing game, making him a lock for fantasy lineups. Look for the Bills to bounce back, as they will need to be firing on all cylinders before their Week 9 matchup with the Chiefs.

    From RotoBaller

Josh Allen Oct 25 1:00pm CT
    Josh Allen

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen remains a must-start QB1 option despite a tough Week 8 matchup against a top-10 Carolina Panthers defense. Allen has eclipsed the 20-point mark in four of six games this season, proving his worth as the most consistent quarterback in the league. Allen managed 17.4 fantasy points in his last game, against the Falcons, who allow the second-fewest points to opposing quarterbacks. Allen remains a matchup-proof option the rest of the way, with a high floor due to his scrambling ability.
