Free-agent WR Tyler Boyd (Titans) said he believes he can play a few more seasons and expects to receive interest from teams as training camp approaches.
From TheHuddle
The NFL informed teams that for the second straight year, they will not hold a supplemental draft this summer, sources told The Athletic. The supplemental draft is an option for draft-eligible players who did not declare for the regular NFL draft in the spring for various reasons. The supplemental draft was last held in 2023 with two eligible prospects, but neither was selected. A player hasn't been taken in the supplemental draft since 2019, when the Arizona Cardinals took defensive back Jalen Thompson. In all, 46 players have been selected in the supplemental draft's history, with notable selections being quarterback Bernie Kosar (1985), wide receiver Cris Carter (1987) and receiver Josh Gordon (2012).

San Francisco 49ers cornerback Deommodore Lenoir was arrested in Los Angeles on Thursday night on a charge of obstruction of justice, according to the police. The 25-year-old was released from jail on Friday morning and is scheduled to appear in court next month. Police observed a gun inside a parked vehicle when they approached a group that included Lenoir, and when police asked for the keys, another man tossed them to Lenoir. He then threw the keys to a third man, who tried to hide them. Lenoir signed a five-year, $92 million extension with the Niners in November of last year after he had 265 tackles, six interceptions and 26 pass breakups in his first four seasons with the team. It's unclear if this off-field situation will result in a suspension, but Lenoir is one of the team's key members of the secondary going into the future.

Free-agent WR Tyler Boyd (Titans) said he would be interested in signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, if the opportunity presented itself. Boyd played college football at the University of Pittsburgh and is a native of Clairton, Pa.
From TheHuddle
Free-agent WR Tyler Boyd (Titans) could be signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an insurance policy for WR Jahan Dotson, according to Aaron Schatz of ESPN.com.

Baltimore Ravens RB Derrick Henry rushed for 1,119 yards and eight touchdowns during the second half of games last season. He rushed for 740 yards and eight touchdowns in the first half.
Fantasy Spin: Henry was successful in all situations in 2024 but had more success as the games when on because of his running style. He will continue to see a significant number of touches this upcoming season and is a must-start option in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Mike Evans caught 34 passes for 512 yards and five touchdowns in December last season.
Fantasy Spin: Evans missed some time because of injury last season but was a big factor in the passing game as the Buccaneers pushed for a playoff spot. He should continue to be a big factor in the passing game this season and can be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver in fantasy leagues.

The Athletic's Doug Haller reports that the Arizona Cardinals expect second-year wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. to take the next step in 2025. Aside from the muscle that the Ohio State product added to his frame, quarterback Kyler Murray noted that he's operating with a different level of comfort and confidence thus far in his second year. Objectively, Harrison Jr.'s rookie campaign was by no means a failure. However, with the sky-high expectations put forth upon him, it certainly felt that way. More so, considering fellow rookie wideout Malik Nabers exploded onto the scene in a worse offense. The 22-year-old figured to improve in his second season anyway. Arizona gassing him up only makes him more intriguing in the first few rounds of drafts.

New York Giants wide receiver Jalin Hyatt reported recently on the Giants Huddle podcast that he's transformed his body ahead of his third pro season. "I played at like 170, 171 last year, I'm about 194, 195 now," said Hyatt. "I felt like that was one of the things that I needed to work on from last season, just felt weak. So I just had to get stronger." The 23-year-old also noted that he's had conversations with head coach Brian Daboll about moving around the formation more in 2025. Hyatt flashed as a deep threat in his rookie season but took a step back last year with the emergence of target-hog Malik Nabers. The Giants could use a solid second option in their passing attack, though one of Hyatt's most intriguing aspects is his 4.4 speed. If he's able to maintain that with an extra 20 pounds of muscle on his frame, a bounce-back campaign isn't out of the question.

Cleveland Browns rookie second-round linebacker Carson Schwesinger figures to be in a full-time role that could include calling defensive signals at some point early in his first year in the NFL, according to The Athletic's Zac Jackson. The Browns used the No. 33 overall pick on Schwesinger in April with Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah's (neck) football future in question. Schwesinger is big, instinctual and will also contribute on special teams for Cleveland right away. The 22-year-old was only a one-year starter in college at UCL, but he has a high motor and led all FBS linebackers in 2024 with 136 tackles (90 solo). With Owusu-Koramoah not expected to play at all in 2025, Schwesinger should start at weakside linebacker for the Browns and could have some IDP fantasy value sooner than later because of his tackling ability.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns rookie fourth-round running back Dylan Sampson received work "as a running back and a receiver" during minicamp, according to RBs coach Duce Staley. Staley went on to add that Sampson "is able to go play in the slot and also he's able to go and play on third down and maybe sprinkle in a little second down." The Cleveland Plain Dealer's Dan Labbe thinks that heading into training camp, rookies Quinshon Judkins and Sampson figure to be the top two backs, with Jerome Ford serving as the primary third-down back. The 20-year-old Sampson rushed for 1,491 yards and 22 touchdowns (5.8 yards per carry) in 2024 at Tennessee, but he wasn't all that involved as a pass-catcher. He's a speedy back that could be worth a dart throw in deep PPR formats, but most likely he'll be an inconsistent fantasy performer unless Judkins misses time with an injury.
From RotoBaller
The Athletic's Zac Jackson writes that the Cleveland Browns are banking on wide receiver Cedric Tillman building on his big stretch in the middle of last season since they didn't draft a receiver and only added Diontae Johnson in free agency. Jackson adds that Tillman should be in for a full-time role in 2025 and could complement WR1 Jerry Jeudy in an offense that could incorporate a lot of deep passes if veteran Joe Flacco wins the quarterback job. The advantage that Tillman has is his size (6-foot-3, 215 pounds), and he scored his first three NFL touchdowns in October and November of last year. Although he missed the last six games of 2024 with a concussion, he's still viewed as an ascending player and has two years left on his rookie deal. Even with more opportunity, Tillman will likely be viewed as a WR5/6 target in deeper fantasy formats for receiver depth.
From RotoBaller
The Athletic's Joseph Person writes that Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young has shown an increased comfort level in his second year in head coach Dave Canales' offensive system, especially when he carved up the first-team defense in the red zone during minicamp. Young's intensity also caught the eyes and ears of media members this offseason. Pass-rusher Jadeveon Clowney said that Young needed to play with more energy last year, and the former first overall pick has engaged in trash-talk sessions with cornerback Jaycee Horn. The 23-year-old was pretty bad in his first year and a half, but he looked different down the stretch in 2024 after being benched and threw seven TDs and no picks in his final three games. He's going to need to improve his accuracy and decision-making to take the next step in Year 3, but Young at least showed some signs to give fantasy managers hope that he can be a solid QB2 with upside.
From RotoBaller
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Roman Wilson excelled on in-breaking routes over the middle of the field in college at Michigan, which should fit quarterback Aaron Rodgers' skills nicely, according to The Athletic's Mike DeFabo. However, it remains to be seen if Wilson can stay healthy after dealing with multiple injuries in his rookie season and appearing in just one game. The Steelers are already saying that Calvin Austin III is their WR2 behind DK Metcalf, but the 24-year-old Wilson still will have more opportunities for playing time in 2025 now that George Pickens is gone. Pittsburgh is on record that they are counting on Wilson to take a jump in Year 2, although it's unclear exactly what that will mean right now. Wilson should mostly be a downfield threat, which was a weakness for Rodgers last year in New York. He's merely one to watch in most fantasy leagues for now.
From RotoBaller
NFL Network's Tom Pelissero says that Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and All-Pro pass-rusher Micah Parsons already had a handshake deal months ago on a new contract extension, but the length of the pending extension is where the current hangup is. The Cowboys and Jones have always favored locking up their stars on long-term deals for five or six years, but the trend in the league of late has been shorter contract extensions. Parsons, who is 26 years old, might prefer a shorter contract extension that would allow him another bite at the apple as he nears the end of his career. Both quarterback Dak Prescott and receiver CeeDee Lamb both negotiated four-year deals recently, so perhaps that's what Parsons is trying to do as well. Contract talks aside, Parsons has at least 12 sacks in four straight seasons and will remain a high-end IDP fantasy target going into 2025 drafts.
From RotoBaller
New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. said that quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston have been sharing leadership duties this offseason in the team's clubhouse. "I wouldn't say leader of the pack because Jameis and Russ, they both have a really good dynamic to where they both respect each other," Tracy said. "They both allow each other to lead in their own way, whatever it may be. If Jameis wants to say something, Russ is not gonna come and say this is how it is. He'll let Jameis talk and lead his own way." It could make for some awkward situations in 2025 if Wilson struggles at the position, but for now, nobody should be reading too much into it. Wilson, 36, is fully expected to be the starter in Week 1, but if he falters, both Winston and rookie first-rounder Jaxon Dart could make starts by the end of the year. At best, Wilson will be a low-end QB2 in fantasy as he nears the end of his career.

Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton isn't ready to project what the running back room will look like come September, writes ESPN's Jeff Legwold. Rookie second-rounder RJ Harvey and free-agent addition J.K. Dobbins are expected to be the top two RBs, but the team also has Jaleel McLaughlin, Audric Estime and Blake Watson in the fold. The Broncos' rushing leader last year, Javonte Williams, is now in Dallas, opening up plenty of opportunity in 2025. Legwold writes that Dobbins likely has the early advantage for the most snaps in the room because of his experience, ability as a pass-blocker and "intelligence on third down." He also had a career-high 905 rushing yards with the Chargers in 2024 despite missing four games with a knee injury. Harvey has more pure upside as an RB3/flex, while Dobbins shouldn't be ignored in PPR formats as a potential weekly flex option in 2025.
From RotoBaller
Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Baker Mayfield threw for 1,123 yards, 12 touchdowns and two interceptions during the fourth quarter of games last season.
Fantasy Spin: Mayfield finished the 2024 season tied with second most touchdown passes in the NFL (41) and the third most passing yards among quarterbacks (4,500). He is working one of the best receiving corps in the NFL even if Chris Godwin misses some time and should be a weekly starting option in all fantasy leagues.
From TheHuddle
Miami Dolphins TE Jonnu Smith posted 582 yards during the second half of the 2024 NFL season and caught seven of his eight touchdowns during those games.
Fantasy Spin: Smith was one of the main options in the passing game for the Dolphins last season, but his status with the team is uncertain because he is looking for a new contract. He has been linked to the Pittsburgh Steelers this offseason but can be a No. 1 tight end in most leagues if he remains with the Dolphins.
From TheHuddle
Los Angeles Rams QB Matthew Stafford completed only 41 percent of his passes inside the 10-yard line during the 2024 season.
Fantasy Spin: Stafford did not have some of his pass catchers in 2024 because of injury, so he should be able to improve his play close to the goal line. He likely will have success this upcoming season but probably will only be a No. 2 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.
