Christian Watson Oct 26 6:40pm CT
    Christian Watson

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson (knee) is officially active for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had been listed as questionable after practicing in a limited capacity. Watson is making his NFL debut after spending the first seven weeks on injured reserve. The 26-year-old continues to be plagued by injuries as he gets ready to kick off his fourth season. The Packers have played 57 games since drafting Watson, but he's only been active for two-thirds of them (38 games). Now healthy for the first time since tearing his ACL in Week 18 of the 2024 campaign, Watson will look to contribute right away. He should eventually carve out a prominent role alongside Romeo Doubs and Matthew Golden, but he may play on a snap count in his first game back. He's worth stashing in fantasy football, but it's too early to plug him into your starting lineups.

Brandon McManus Oct 26 6:30pm CT
    Brandon McManus

Green Bay Packers kicker Brandon McManus (quadricep) is officially active for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had been listed as questionable after logging a limited practice session. The 34-year-old returns following a two-game absence. He went 7-for-9 on field goals and 11-for-12 on extra points when healthy, maintaining low-end streaming appeal in fantasy football. His return to action is bittersweet for the Packers and fantasy managers alike. Green Bay is surely pleased to get its primary kicker back, but it also spells the end of a magical two-week stretch for Lucas Havrisik, who went from searching for substitute teaching jobs to going 4-for-4 on field goals and 6-for-6 on extra points while filling in for McManus. Havrisik is a healthy scratch Sunday night.

Matthew Golden Oct 26 6:30pm CT
    Matthew Golden

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Matthew Golden (hip) is officially active for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He had been listed as questionable after logging a limited practice on Friday. The rookie has ranked as the overall WR59 in PPR leagues this season with 18 catches for 249 yards, and he's still looking for his first career touchdown. Golden should deliver another top-60 finish on Sunday night, but it's worth noting that he does face added competition this week with Romeo Doubs still healthy and Christian Watson (knee) on track to make his season debut.

Tua Tagovailoa Oct 26 6:00pm CT
    Tua Tagovailoa

Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa experienced his worst performance of his career last week. However, Tagovailoa turned it around during Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. He completed 20-of-26 passing attempts for 205 yards with four touchdowns and zero interceptions in the victory. This was a fantastic bounce back performance for both the Dolphins and for Tagovailoa. It was his first four-score game since Week 12 of last season. He'll look to keep the good times rolling against the Baltimore Ravens next week.

TreVeyon Henderson Oct 26 5:40pm CT
    TreVeyon Henderson

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson was finally able to break through on the ground during Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. Before this game, Henderson was held to 27 rushing yards or less in each of his last three games. In Week 8, Henderson rushed 10 times for 75 yards in the win over the Browns. It was a nice outing for the rookie back that hasn't seen much success early in the season. The hope is that this will lead to more carries for Henderson going forward. However, he'll still be stuck splitting up the carries with Rhamondre Stevenson, so his ceiling is limited.

Kayshon Boutte Oct 26 5:40pm CT
    Kayshon Boutte

New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte was carrying a two game touchdown-streak into Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns. The 23-year-old was able to continue finding success during Sunday's victory. Boutte hauled in three of his five targets for 75 yards and a touchdown on Sunday. It has been a nice stretch of play for Boutte who was quiet to begin the season. He figures to be a possible WR3 for the Week 9 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.

Breece Hall Oct 26 5:30pm CT
    Breece Hall

New York Jets running back Breece Hall posted an outstanding performance during Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Hall hasn't found much success on the ground lately, but had no issues in Week 8. Hall rushed 18 times for 133 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. He also hauled in two receptions for an additional seven yards through the air, but that wasn't all. The 24-year-old threw the game-winning touchdown pass to tight end Mason Taylor. Hall literally did a little bit of everything during this victory. He'll head into a bye week on a high note before playing the Cleveland Browns in Week 10.

Spencer Rattler Oct 26 5:20pm CT
    Spencer Rattler

New Orleans Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler has been benched during Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Rattler threw three interceptions last week and wasn't having much more success this weekend. He completed 15-of-21 passing attempts for 136 yards with an interception before being pulled in the second half of this game. Tyler Shough has taken over under center for at least the rest of this game. Given the Saints record, it wouldn't be shocking if Shough got a chance at the starting gig in the second half of the season.

James Cook Oct 26 5:00pm CT
    James Cook

Buffalo Bills running back James Cook rushed for 216 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries during Sunday's Week 8 victory over the Carolina Panthers. Cook had struggled in his two games prior to the Bills' bye week, but he returned from the hiatus with one of the best games of his career. He now has 753 rushing yards, 89 receiving yards, and seven touchdowns through seven games this year. It's safe to say that offseason speculation about Cook regressing was misguided. The 26-year-old continues to showcase elite rushing skills, as well as a tendency to score plenty of touchdowns. His ceiling might be a little lower next week in a neutral game script against the Kansas City Chiefs, but he's still a very strong RB1 option.

Drake Maye Oct 26 5:00pm CT
    Drake Maye

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye completed 18 of his 24 pass attempts for 282 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception during Sunday's Week 8 win over the Cleveland Browns. He also took six sacks and rushed for 50 yards. The former No. 3 pick continues to dominate during his breakout campaign, as he now has 17 total touchdowns and just three interceptions in 2025. He is also completing passes at an elite rate, maintaining a completion percentage north of 75 percent. All the while, he has looked like one of the NFL's better rushing quarterbacks and has led the Patriots to an AFC East-leading 6-2 start. Maye's six sacks and one interception on Sunday weren't ideal, but he made up for it with his completion rate, yardage, touchdowns, and the win. The 23-year-old remains a mid-range fantasy QB1 heading into a clash with the Falcons, who just surrendered four passing touchdowns to Tua Tagovailoa.

Cam Skattebo Oct 26 4:50pm CT
    Cam Skattebo

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo (ankle) will undergo surgery at a Philadelphia hospital on Sunday night. Skattebo suffered a dislocated ankle during the first half of Sunday's Week 8 loss against the Eagles. He was quickly ruled out and hospitalized after the gruesome-looking injury. The exact timetable for Skattebo's recovery is unclear, and we may not have full clarity until medical professionals can examine the rookie's injury internally during surgery. Nevertheless, he is headed for an extended absence and will likely miss the remainder of the 2025 season. Tyrone Tracy Jr. will take over as the Giants' No. 1 running back while Devin Singletary occupies the backup role.

Trey Hendrickson Oct 26 4:40pm CT
    Trey Hendrickson

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson (hip) was ruled out after suffering a hip injury during the first half of Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, the team believes that Hendrickson's injury is not significant, according to Jordan Schultz of The Schultz Report. There's no clear timetable for his return to action, but Schultz's X post seems to suggest that Hendrickson has a chance to play against the Chicago Bears in Week 9. It's also possible that the Bengals hold him out since they have a Week 10 bye, giving him a full 21 days to rest and recover. Myles Murphy and Shemar Stewart could earn more defensive snaps if Hendrickson, a defensive star and potential trade target, misses time.

Derrick Brown Oct 26 4:40pm CT
    Derrick Brown

Carolina Panthers defensive tackle Derrick Brown (knee) says that he is fine despite injuring his knee in Sunday's Week 8 loss against the Buffalo Bills, according to ESPN's David Newton. Brown suffered the injury in the fourth quarter and was listed as questionable to return, but he did not get back into the game. Carolina likely held him out as a precaution since they were trailing by four possessions. He finished the game with just one tackle. Based on Brown's own comments, it seems like he has a strong chance to play in Week 9 against the Green Bay Packers.

Saquon Barkley Oct 26 4:30pm CT
    Saquon Barkley

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (groin) "seems confident" that he'll be able to play in the team's next game during Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers, according to Eliot Shorr-Parks of 94WIP.com. Barkley injured his groin on the final play of the third quarter during Sunday's Week 8 win over the New York Giants. He didn't return to the game, but the decision to hold him out may have been precautionary since Philadelphia led by three scores at the time. The Eagles have a Week 9 bye, so Barkley will get 15 days to rest and recover before facing the Packers. His 174 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns on Sunday will vault him back into RB1 territory going forward.

    Cam Skattebo

Dynasty | Giants running back Cam Skattebo was carted off the field with a dislocated ankle in the Giants game against the Eagles. Dynasty Analysis: Not good. This has the looks of a season-ending injury and it's one of the most unfortunate ones of the season as Skattebo had established himself as a workhorse for the Giants. The scene was bad enough that the network stopped replaying it. Skattebo was taken to a local hospital where they will determine next steps, though it's highly unlikely we see him again until 2026. Skattebo will still remain an elite-level rookie asset despite this turn of events.

Dillon Gabriel Oct 26 3:40pm CT
    Dillon Gabriel

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski told the media that Dillon Gabriel will remain the team's starting quarterback following their Week 9 bye. Gabriel struggled in Sunday's loss to the Patriots, completing 60 percent of his passes for just 156 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. The rookie had struggled through his three previous starts, but the lone bright spot during that span was the fact that Gabriel had not turned over the football. That streak came to an end in Week 8 as the Patriots picked him off twice. Cleveland's quarterback room also features Shedeur Sanders (back) and Bailey Zappe, neither of whom has played an NFL snap in 2025. Gabriel will have at least one more opportunity to save his job when the 2-6 Browns face the New York Jets in Week 10.

Cam Skattebo Oct 26 3:20pm CT
    Cam Skattebo

New York Giants running back Cam Skattebo (ankle) was diagnosed with a dislocated ankle during Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. He has been taken to the hospital for further evaluation. Skattebo suffered the gruesome-looking ankle injury while being tackled near the middle of the field in the first quarter. He finished the game with 12 rushing yards plus an 18-yard touchdown reception. The rookie's season is likely over, pending an official diagnosis from medical professionals. If his injury is confirmed as season-ending, Tyrone Tracy Jr. will take over as the Giants' lead running back while Devin Singletary occupies the backup role.

Saquon Barkley Oct 26 3:00pm CT
    Saquon Barkley

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (groin) exited during the third quarter of Sunday's Week 8 contest against the New York Giants. He was taken into the blue medical tent for further evaluation, and the team is now listing him as questionable to return. The Eagles may be keeping Barkley off the field as a precaution because they lead by three possessions in the final minutes of the fourth quarter. If his day is indeed done, he will finish with 14 carries, 150 rushing yards, and one rushing touchdown, as well as four catches, 24 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown. This easily goes down as Barkley's best game of the year, getting him back on track after ranking as the overall RB14 (PPR) through the first seven weeks. The Eagles have a Week 9 bye and don't play again until Nov. 10 against the Packers, giving Barkley a full 15 days to rest and recover before his next game. In the event that he still can't suit up coming out of the bye, Tank Bigbsy would be in line to lead Philadelphia's backfield.

Quinshon Judkins Oct 26 2:50pm CT
    Quinshon Judkins

Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins (shoulder) exited during the third quarter of Sunday's Week 8 contest against the New England Patriots. He was initially listed as questionable before being downgraded to out. Fortunately for Judkins and his fantasy managers, the Browns have a Week 9 bye, giving the rookie 14 days to recover before his next game (Nov. 9 against the Jets). In the event that Judkins' absence lasts multiple weeks and keeps him sidelined coming out of the bye, Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson would be in line to lead Cleveland's backfield.

Luther Burden III Oct 26 2:40pm CT
    Luther Burden III

Chicago Bears wide receiver Luther Burden III (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Baltimore Ravens. He initially exited in the third quarter and entered concussion protocol before being ruled out. The rookie finishes the game with just one catch for a loss of one yard. Rome Odunze, DJ Moore, and Olamide Zacchaeus will continue to operate as the Bears' top three receivers going forward. Burden is at risk of missing next Sunday's game against the Bengals, as he would need to clear concussion protocol in less than seven days to play.
