ESPN's Ben Baby reports that Cincinnati Bengals tight end Noah Fant (concussion) did not practice on Thursday and is currently in the league's concussion protocol. Fant will get an extra day to get healthy this week with the Bengals squaring off against the Denver Broncos as part of a Monday Night Football doubleheader. He'll have two more opportunities to get in at least a limited session, though it wouldn't be surprising if he were to miss Monday's contest. Despite placing third in total snaps amongst Cincinnati's tight ends, the 27-year-old leads his position in targets (14), catches (12), and yards (80). If Fant is forced to miss more time, Cam Grandy would again work in behind teammates Drew Sample and Mike Gesicki.

Washington Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown (groin, knee) was tagged with a DNP for Thursday's practice, per the team. Not only has the veteran wideout dealt with a nagging knee injury he picked up during training camp, but a groin issue suffered during Week 2's loss to the Packers has kept him from practice over the past two weeks. With teammate Terry McLaurin (quad) also not practicing due to a quad ailment, it's possible that Deebo Samuel Sr., Jaylin Lane, Chris Moore, and Luke McCaffrey handle wide receiver duties in Sunday's road outing with the Atlanta Falcons. Expect an update on Brown and McLaurin following Friday's session, but they're currently trending downward.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Cedric Tillman (hand, hip) logged his second consecutive limited practice session on Thursday while dealing with multiple injuries. Tillman remains as Cleveland's obvious WR2 through three weeks, as he and Jerry Jeudy are the only wideouts to eclipse 100 snaps, boasting 90 more than the next pass-catcher (Isaiah Bond). However, the 25-year-old sustained two injuries in Week 3's 13-10 win against the Green Bay Packers, putting his status for Week 4 in question. Tillman hasn't missed a practice yet, which is a positive sign for his potential designation. Still, he'll likely need to get in a full session before suiting up for their meeting with the hosting Detroit Lions. Bond is the most likely candidate to fill in if Tillman can't go, with teammate Jamari Thrash operating as their third WR. Tight ends David Njoku and Harold Fannin Jr. would also get a boost.

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Bhayshul Tuten (shoulder) remained a limited participant at Thursday's practice as he battles through a shoulder injury. The Virginia Tech product logged a week's worth of limited practices ahead of the team's win over the Houston Texans in Week 3, but would still suit up for the contest. However, Tuten saw his snap share decrease as fellow rookie rusher LeQuint Allen Jr. picked up extra work. Despite the discrepancy, the former out-touched the latter 6-1. Tuten looks to be the second option out of the backfield behind starter Travis Etienne Jr., and now we know the team is comfortable trotting him out there on less-than-ideal practice reps. As of now, he should be a go for Jacksonville's road outing with the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday. Allen Jr. would operate as the change-of-pace option behind Etienne Jr. if he's not.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee (hip) was listed as a limited participant for Thursday's practice with a hip injury. The veteran logged a full practice on Wednesday, so the hip injury presumably occurred within the last 24 hours. Mid- to late-week injuries are typically detrimental to a player's game-time designation. However, considering his limited status, it doesn't seem to be that serious. Higbee has clearly led the Rams' tight end room thus far, out-snapping his next closest teammate, Davis Allen, 117-72 through three weeks. If Higbee is unable to play, Allen would be the next man up, with fellow TE Colby Parkinson playing second fiddle. Rookie Terrance Ferguson would mix in behind them both as the third option.
From RotoBaller
Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer (concussion) was tagged with a DNP for the second consecutive day while he works back from a concussion. Mayer exited the Raiders' 41-24 loss to the Washington Commanders in the first half after sustaining a head injury and has yet to practice since doing so. With only a Friday session separating him and the team's Week 4 tilt with the visiting Chicago Bears, the 24-year-old is trending in the wrong direction. Fellow tight end Ian Thomas worked in Mayer's stead during their Week 3 loss upon the latter's exit, and figures to do so again if he's inactive this Sunday. Brock Bowers would also be in line to pick up a few extra snaps.
From RotoBaller
New York Jets quarterback Justin Fields (concussion) was a full participant at Thursday's practice, ESPN's Rich Cimini reports. It's a positive step for the Ohio State product, who had yet to log even a limited session since sustaining a concussion back in Week 2. Fields is still required to fully clear protocol before he can suit up for Monday night's matchup with the Miami Dolphins, but he appears to be on track to do just that as of now. Fortunately, he'll get an extra day to do so, as the game takes place on Monday. The 26-year-old will slot back in as New York's starting QB upon his return, and presents as a low-end QB1 for fantasy purposes when healthy.
From RotoBaller
Per the team, Carolina Panthers running back Chuba Hubbard (calf) logged a limited practice session on Thursday while dealing with a calf injury. Hubbard didn't appear on Wednesday's practice report, so it's at least mildly concerning that he was limited with a new injury a day later. That he practiced in at least some fashion is positive, but fantasy managers will need to monitor his participation on Friday ahead of Week 4's road tilt with the New England Patriots. If for some reason Hubbard is unfit to suit up for that contest, backfield mate Rico Dowdle figures to operate as the Panthers' lead rusher with rookie Trevor Etienne mixing in behind him.
From RotoBaller
ESPN's Nick Wagoner reports that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones was a limited participant at practice for the second consecutive day due to a knee injury. Jones is dealing with a PCL sprain that was aggravated during last weekend's win against the Cardinals. With teammate Brock Purdy (toe, shoulder) still limited in his own right, the 49ers continue to deal with tumult regarding injuries. The sentiment around the team seems to be that Purdy has a chance to return in Week 4, barring any setbacks. However, that hinges on his status following Friday's practice. If Purdy and Jones both can't go, it will be Adrian Martinez calling signals against the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars.
From RotoBaller
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (toe, shoulder) was again listed as a limited participant in Thursday's team practice, ESPN's Nick Wagoner reports. The 25-year-old is still hampered by toe and shoulder injuries, but at least he has consistently been able to log a limited session without a setback. With fellow signal caller Mac Jones (knee) nursing an injury of his own, San Francisco is suddenly in danger of being down two QBs ahead of their Week 4 meeting with the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars. Head coach Kyle Shanahan noted on Thursday that Purdy is progressing toward a return on Sunday, stating, "I think (the toe) is feeling better each day and if that continues he should be good on Sunday." We'll know more following tomorrow's practice.
From RotoBaller
According to the team, Houston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins (knee) practiced in full on Thursday. The 26-year-old was a surprise addition to Wednesday's practice report with a knee injury, but he's back out there a day later, insinuating that it was probably just a day of rest for him. Fantasy managers will want to monitor Collins over the next few days as Houston prepares to take on the Tennessee Titans at home in Week 4. Though, as of now, it doesn't appear to be a threat to his status for Sunday's showdown. If he were to miss time, teammates Xavier Hutchinson and Jayden Higgins would be in line for an uptick in snaps.
From RotoBaller
Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports that Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) will not require surgery after seeking multiple medical opinions this week, but his status for Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday is not looking good. Garafolo added it's uncertain exactly what McLaurin's injury is, as it's been described as a quad/groin/hip ailment. It was ominous news that McLaurin met with a core-muscle specialist this week, but at least for now, he will avoid going under the knife. Still, the 30-year-old wideout has not practiced yet this week and is looking unlikely to play this Sunday in Atlanta. Fantasy managers would be wise to replace him in their starting lineups for now. Even if he's able to practice on Friday, which seems unlikely, he wouldn't be a lock to play in Week 4. With Noah Brown trending toward a second straight missed game, Luke McCaffrey and rookie Jaylin Lane appear to be in line for increased playing time for the Commanders.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams (hamstring) missed a second straight practice this week on Thursday, according to ESPN's Sarah Barshop. It puts Adams' status in doubt for the upcoming Week 4 matchup on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Head coach Sean McVay hasn't seemed too concerned about Adams missing this weekend, though, and merely called the veteran wideout's injury a sore hamstring. If the 32-year-old Pro Bowler can practice on Friday, he would appear to have a decent shot at suiting up against the 3-0 Colts. Adams has been a big part of the Rams' offense through three games in his first year with the team, as he's caught 13 of his 29 targets for 213 yards and two touchdowns. If he's active this weekend, Adams should be in all starting fantasy lineups. Check back on Friday for his official Week 4 status.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet (foot) is officially active for the Thursday night divisional tilt on the road against the Arizona Cardinals to kick off Week 4 action. Charbonnet was inactive in the team's Week 3 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, but he was a full-go in walk-through practices on a short week and will return to Seattle's backfield after missing just one game. In the first two weeks, Charb and Kenneth Walker III split touches right down the middle, with Charbonnet averaging a weak 2.1 yards per carry on 27 rushing attempts for 57 yards and one touchdown. The two RBs should continue to split the workload pretty evenly in Seattle going forward, but the better bet is that Charb sees a smaller workload in his return on a short week. With Charbonnet's snaps potentially being capped against Arizona, he's best left on your bench if you have other RB options.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns rookie fifth-round quarterback Shedeur Sanders said in an interview with ESPN Cleveland that he's "ready to play right now" and is "more capable" than other QBs in the league. Sanders is keeping a positive mindset on a daily basis despite being the No. 3 signal-caller on Cleveland's depth chart behind veteran Joe Flacco and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel. His father, former NFL legend Deion Sanders, recently said that he thinks his son will be starting for the Browns at some point this year despite falling to the fifth round in April's draft. Flacco has not impressed at all through three weeks, but Gabriel will almost certainly get the first shot at starting duties under center in Cleveland before Sanders does if the Browns eventually bench Flacco. The 23-year-old looked good during preseason action, but it was also against second- and third-stringers on defense.
From RotoBaller
Los Angeles Chargers tight end Will Dissly (knee) missed a second straight day of practice this week on Thursday, putting his availability in peril for a Week 4 road contest in New York against the winless Giants. Dissly also missed the Week 3 win over the Denver Broncos with his knee injury, so he'd be sitting out a second straight game if he's deemed inactive this weekend. The 29-year-old's absence last Sunday opened the door for rookie Oronde Gadsden to be active for the first time in his career, and he responded by catching five of seven targets for 46 yards. Gadsden is quickly gaining the trust of quarterback Justin Herbert and could be the Bolts' preferred pass-catching tight end in 2025 when it's all said and done. If Dissly misses a second straight game, Gadsden will have an elevated role once again while sharing snaps with Tyler Conklin.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos running back J.K. Dobbins has been a "real good addition" for the team this year, head coach Sean Payton said. Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports writes that it's "clear" that Payton is a big fan of Dobbins, who has been the Broncos' clear RB1 through three weeks over rookie second-rounder RJ Harvey. Dobbins has seen double-digit carries in all three games of the year so far and has run for at least 63 yards each week. The 26-year-old has also scored on the ground in all three weeks. His best game so far came in the Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, as he ran for 83 yards and a score on a season-low 11 rushing attempts. He had nine more rushing attempts than Harvey last weekend and has outcarried the UCF product 41 to 13. Harvey has one more catch than Dobbins through three weeks. Dobbins isn't going away anytime soon, and he'll be in play as an RB2 in Week 4 in a plus matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals.
From RotoBaller
Denver Broncos tight end Evan Engram (back) was listed as a full practice participant on Thursday, which is a great sign for his availability in a Week 4 matchup against the visiting Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night, according to Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports. Engram missed practice all week before sitting out the Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, so it's a bit surprising to see him as a full-go for the first practice of the week. It's a good indication that the 31-year-old will end his one-game absence and play on Monday night in a strong matchup for TEs. The Bengals have allowed the fifth-most half-PPR points to the position through the first three weeks of 2025. Broncos head coach Sean Payton continues to say that Engram will be a big part of the offense this year, but fantasy managers want to see it to believe it in this struggling Denver offense. In two games, Engram has caught four of six targets for 33 yards.
From RotoBaller
Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. (toe) returned to a full practice on Thursday after he was limited on Wednesday, according to Tori McElhaney of AtlantaFalcons.com. Pitts was also dealing with a toe injury early last week, but he upgraded to full practice and was able to play in the Week 3 loss to the Carolina Panthers. The 24-year-old should be good to go as the Falcons look to bounce back in Week 4 against the Washington Commanders' suspect secondary after they were shut out by the Carolina Panthers last Sunday. Pitts has not found the end zone yet in 2025, but he's been consistently involved and has caught 15 of his 19 targets from quarterback Michael Penix Jr. for 135 yards. He should be considered a low-end TE1/high-end TE2 play for fantasy managers in a matchup against a Commanders defense that has allowed the ninth-most half-PPR points to TEs through three weeks.
From RotoBaller
Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) was officially a non-participant in Thursday's practice, the second straight day this week that he failed to practice. McLaurin injured his quad in the Week 3 win over the Las Vegas Raiders and has received multiple medical opinions from specialists this week, a sign that he won't be available to play this Sunday against the hosting Atlanta Falcons. The 30-year-old will most certainly need to practice in some fashion on Friday to have a shot at suiting up in Week 4, but as of now, fantasy managers should consider McLaurin more doubtful than likely to play. Noah Brown (groin, knee) has yet to practice, too, after missing Week 3, so Washington could be down to Deebo Samuel Sr., Luke McCaffrey, and rookie Jaylin Lane this weekend. It's also unclear if quarterback Jayden Daniels will be able to return from a knee sprain he suffered in Week 2.
