Two weeks in, we already know: TBL2 is a grind. The undefeated squads are chasing separation, the winless ones are desperate, and with doubleheaders on the slate, seasons can swing 180° in a single weekend. Let’s break down every matchup on the Week 3 slate.
Storyline: JoeStradamus is steady but needs Joe Burrow to find rhythm. Nea Kameni has started hot with balance and strong IDPs.
QB: Burrow vs Stroud → Edge: Nea Kameni

In the blink of an eye, the 2025 season is upon us. The NFL draft has come and gone, but not before giving us one of the most significant draft slides in recent memory with the epic fall of Shedeur Sanders. I’m pretty sure I have a draft magazine that has him on the cover, as arguably the top QB in the draft. It will be interesting to see if he can overcome this auspicious beginning to his NFL career and become an NFL starter. Free agency frenzy followed the draft, and though this year’s crop of talent seemed sparser than usual, there were deals to be had. Finally, the TBL2 draft was completed in about a week, and it sure felt like the quickest draft we’ve ever had. Because I’m a BLB whore, I decided to do a “way too early and hastily researched predictions” article to try and earn a little extra spending money for the Ass Pennies franchise. Maybe THIS will be our year…
(As I have never met any of you in person, please don’t take offense to anything written here. It’s purely for fun, and I tried to be honest without being mean or negative. I just thought you might want something new to read in the bathroom.) Enjoy!!!

Dynasty | Chargers rookie running back Omarion Hampton had 70 rushing yards, six catches, 59 receiving yards and a touchdown in a win against the Broncos. Dynasty Analysis: This performance came out of nowhere after Najee Harris went down with a season-ending injury. Hampton hadn't been great until this week but he now has a monster opportunity moving forward as he will likely slot in as a true featured back in Los Angeles. This stretch of games will likely define his career as a truly dominant stretch could preclude the Chargers from trying to find a backfield partner for him in the off-season. In short, it's go-time for Hampton, whether the Chargers wanted it or not.
Los Angeles Chargers rookie running back Omarion Hampton is set to take on a much larger role after veteran Najee Harris suffered a torn Achilles in Week 2's 23-20 win over the Denver Broncos. With Harris sidelined for the season, the Chargers will lean heavily on their first-round pick. Hampton delivered in Week 3, handling 19 carries for 70 yards and a touchdown, while also contributing six catches for 59 yards through the air. His all-around performance drew high praise from head coach Jim Harbaugh, who said after the game, "Man, what a game (Hampton) had. How about that?!" With volume on his side and a favorable schedule ahead, Hampton profiles as a high-end RB2 with the upside to finish even higher as the season progresses.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold has turned in two straight solid fantasy performances. Darnold threw for an efficient 218 yards and two touchdowns in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints. The Seahawks did not need Darnold to do much in a game in which running back Kenneth Walker III rushed for two touchdowns and the defense dominated. However, the performance was still enough for Darnold to deliver 16.7 fantasy points in four-point passing touchdown formats. Now that Darnold looks fully comfortable in Seattle's offense, he has a chance to deliver great fantasy performances in the right matchups. The Seahawks are looking like a team that may be able to put up points in a hurry this year. Darnold already proved that he could be a solid fantasy quarterback in 2024. If you are battling quarterback injuries or poor play, keep Darnold on your radar moving forward.
From RotoBaller
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Cooper Kupp is looking like a player who will be difficult to trust in fantasy football this season. Kupp scored 16 fantasy points on nine targets in Week 2, but he has only earned three targets in each of the Seahawks' other two games. Kupp reeled in two receptions for 31 yards in Week 3 against the New Orleans Saints despite the Seahawks scoring 44 points. With fellow wide receiver Tory Horton earning a larger role within the offense, Kupp may be up and down this season. He is a great chain-mover and veteran for quarterback Sam Darnold to trust, but his lack of consistent targets through three weeks makes him difficult to project in fantasy. He will always be a threat to earn eight to 10 targets in any given week, but it is clear that he could have a series of dud performances throughout the year as well.

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison is set to return from his three-game suspension stemming from last summer's DUI charges. With the suspension served, Addison has returned to the team and is expected to suit up in London when the Vikings take on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Addison steps back into the WR2 role, and he'll be catching passes from backup quarterback Carson Wentz, who is coming off a strong performance in Week 3's blowout win over the Cincinnati Bengals. The Steelers' secondary bounced back last week, holding New England's wide receivers to just 93 yards on 11 catches. Given the quarterback situation and a tough defensive opponent, Addison profiles as a low-end WR3 for Week 4, though his talent keeps him on the flex radar.

Dynasty | Chargers rookie receiver Tre Harris failed to catch his only target in a win against the Broncos. Dynasty Analysis: Harris now has just three catches for 45 yards on the season. Meanwhile the newly re-added Keenan Allen has a 19/194/3 line on the season. In short, the signing of Allen just killed any chance Harris had to make an early impact. He remains a solid dynasty stash but this is hugely disappointing to those who burned a second round rookie pick on him this off-season.
Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku caught five of his seven targets for 40 yards in a 13-10 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. Njoku wound up leading the team in receiving yards on an afternoon where they only threw for 142 yards in the upset win. The veteran tight end is off to a slow start in 2025, catching 12 passes for 117 scoreless yards through three games. The emergence of rookie Harold Fannin Jr. has been an issue for Njoku, as has a punchless passing attack led by Joe Flacco. Njoku will be on the TE2 radar heading into Week 4's road matchup against the Detroit Lions.

Free-agent WR Cedrick Wilson (Saints) was signed to the New Orleans Saints practice squad Monday, Sept. 22.

Dynasty | Raiders rookie running back Ashton Jeanty had 63 rushing yards and failed to record a catch in a loss to the Commanders. Dynasty Analysis: On the season, Jeanty now has 144 rushing yards and just one touchdown on 3.1 yards per carry. He's also "added" five catches for three yards through his three games. This is either a really slow start or the beginning of a total disaster. Jeanty hasn't looked like the explosive player we saw at Boise State and dynasty managers are starting to get very concerned. Managers have no other choice than to hold on to Jeanty and hope things turn around but this has not been at all the start most expected.
Dynasty | Chargers running back Najee Harris suffered what the team expects to be a torn Achilles in a win over Denver Sunday. Dynasty Analysis: Harris went down with a non-contact injury and those are typically the worst. Signed to a modest $5 million deal this off-season, Harris will now enter next season as a free agent coming off one of the worst injuries you can have. He had some trouble generating interest this year and the injury clearly won't help. Harris was poised to start leading the Chargers backfield as Omarion Hampton had been ineffective. After a 4th of July eye injury, this turn of events simply made his quick tenure with the Chargers a disaster. He's still roster-worthy in deep leagues but it's close.
Dynasty | Broncos running back RJ Harvey had two carries for two yards, adding three catches for 14 yards in a loss to the Chargers. Dynasty Analysis: JK Dobbins again out-touched Harvey as it was a 12-5 distribution this week. Harvey has shown some good juice but Dobbins has simply been better thus far and has seemingly earned the trust of his coaches. Harvey is still a solid stash but anyone who thought he was going to run away with this job and be a weekly option in fantasy leagues early on this season has to be very disappointed.
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was quiet in an upset Week 3 win over the Green Bay Packers, catching just one of his five targets for 17 yards. The entire passing offense was pedestrian in the 13-10 win as Cleveland leaned extensively on the run game to defeat Green Bay. Jeudy is posting modest numbers through three weeks as he has caught just 10 of his 21 targets for 134 scoreless yards thus far. The Cleveland pass-catchers could be in for a long season as Joe Flacco has struggle and rookie Dillon Gabriel is unlikely to provide much of a lift to the unit if he eventually takes over as QB1. Jeudy is looking like a WR4/5 in fantasy moving forward.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns tight end Harold Fannin Jr. caught three of his four targets for 25 yards in a 13-10 upset win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. While Fannin didn't post gaudy numbers in the surprising win, he tied for third on the team in targets and receiving yards on a day where Cleveland focused on their run game, only throwing for 142 yards. Fannin has been a pleasant surprise through three weeks, catching 15 of his 18 targets for 136 yards through three games. The rookie has impressed thus far as he has carved out a sizable role in the Browns' passing attack, making him a solid starting tight end in most fantasy leagues going forward. In Week 4 he will head on the road to take on the Detroit Lions.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns running back Dylan Sampson was an afterthought in his team's 13-10 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. Sampson saw just one carry, turning it into a two-yard gain, and was not targeted in the passing attack. The rookie's role has dwindled considerably since Week 1, not surprisingly coinciding with the activation of fellow rookie Quinshon Judkins ahead of last week's game. Sampson was looking like a solid PPR flex option after a Week 1 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, but he has quickly become a drop candidate in fantasy leagues heading into Week 4's road matchup against the Detroit Lions.
From RotoBaller
Cleveland Browns quarterback Joe Flacco turned in another quiet performance in a 13-10 win over the Green Bay Packers in Week 3. Flacco completed 21 of his 36 passes for 142 yards and one interception in the close upset win. The veteran quarterback has now thrown for just 631 yards and two touchdowns while tossing four interceptions across three contests for the Browns this season. Flacco will presumably remain the team's starter heading into a Week 4 road matchup against the Detroit Lions, but it wouldn't be a huge surprise to see rookie Dillon Gabriel under center for the team sooner rather than later.
From RotoBaller
Detroit Lions DE Marcus Davenport (chest) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Sept. 22.
From TheHuddle
Dynasty | Bucs rookie wide receiver Emeka Egbuka had six catches for 85 yards in a win against the Jets. Dynasty Analysis: That makes 14 catches for 181 yards and three scores in three games for Egbuka. So much for the notion he landed on the wrong team, eh? Egbuka has made play after play early on this season and while things could prove to be tougher when both Chris Godwin and Mike Evans are back, he's looking like the real deal and still climbing the rookie ranks.
Dynasty | Commanders running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt had 26 rushing yards and a touchdown in a win against the Raiders. Dynasty Analysis: He added one catch for five yards. This was one of the more disappointing stat lines of the day as it was Chris Rodriguez (11 carries) who led the team in rushing attempts and yards on the day. With Austin Ekeler out for the season, it appears the Commanders are truly going to a three-headed monster with Rodriguez, Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols (who busted a 60-yard touchdown). This looks like worst-case scenario in fantasy and while it works in reality, Croskey-Merritt's status as a rookie sleeper took a big hit on Sunday.
Dynasty | Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan caught three passes for 48 yards in a win against the Falcons. Dynasty Analysis: The line is modest but that's really because the Panthers pretty much obliterated the Falcons and Bryce Young only needed to attempt 24 passes on the day. It was a stunning turn of events and one that didn't help McMillan's numbers much. He'll look to bounce back next week but he's proven to be more than worth the top-five pick anyone spent on him this off-season.
Dynasty | Colts running back Jonathan Taylor had 102 rushing yards, three catches, 16 receiving yards and three touchdowns in a convincing win against the Titans. Dynasty Analysis: An early favorite for fantasy MVP this season, Taylor looks healthy and like a man on a mission thus far for the 3-0 Colts. Daniel Jones has clearly opened things up for Taylor and he now has 338 rushing yards on the season, leading the NFL at the moment. There are always going to be injury concerns with him (and with any running back who gets this many touches) but Taylor looks as good as he ever has and his ADP is starting to climb with each passing week as a 26-year old runner who is hitting his prime.
