Michael Pittman Jr. Oct 25 8:30am CT
    Michael Pittman Jr.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. hauled in his fifth touchdown of the season in a 38-24 win over the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7. Pittman has been a dangerous red-zone weapon for a red-hot Colts offense through the first seven games of the season. He will look to keep it going in Week 8's home matchup against the Tennessee Titans. The Titans are allowing the 13th-most fantasy points per game to wide receivers this season. Pittman's projection is downgraded a bit with Josh Downs returning from a one-week absence due to a concussion, but he will remain a threat to find the endzone regardless. He sets up as a low-end WR2 in fantasy in Week 8 against Tennessee.

    From RotoBaller

Kayshon Boutte Oct 25 8:30am CT
    Kayshon Boutte

New England Patriots wide receiver Kayshon Boutte continues to be an intriguing WR3/flex option as he showcases his big-play ability at the NFL level. Boutte had a quieter stretch of games earlier in the year, but he broke out with two touchdowns in Week 6 against the Saints. Now, he has seven catches, 148 yards, and three touchdowns over his last two games. He will look to carry his momentum and upside into Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns. Fortunately for Boutte, Cleveland has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points to perimeter receivers, giving the third-year receiver a chance to shake his defender and score more touchdowns. Managers playing in deeper leagues or dealing with bye weeks can certainly justify Boutte as a WR3/flex this week.

    From RotoBaller

Nick Chubb Oct 25 8:30am CT
    Nick Chubb

Houston Texans running back Nick Chubb played his smallest share of snaps of the season in Week 7 in the Texans' loss, but he still has the potential to bounce back this week against San Francisco. Chubb played 25% of snaps and had five carries for 16 rushing yards, while also hauling in one of his three targets for a loss of five yards. Before the game, head coach DeMeco Ryans made a big deal of needing to establish the run against, but the game plan didn't turn out that way. Chubb still seems to have a hold on early-down work with Woody Marks and Dare Obunbowale taking over on passing downs. Before the bye week, Chubb had a pair of busy games against the Titans and Ravens when the Texans played from ahead. He could be more in the mix, depending on the game flow this week against San Francisco. He is the RB31 in RotoBaller's rankings, making him a high-risk option in a flex or RB3 spot this week, especially since his role in the passing game is limited. In his favor, though, the 49ers have allowed five running back touchdowns in their last three games.

    From RotoBaller

Demario Douglas Oct 25 8:30am CT
    Demario Douglas

New England Patriots wide receiver DeMario Douglas remains an unappealing fantasy option heading into Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns. Outside of a strong Week 6 against the Saints, Douglas has massively underwhelmed this season, catching just 13 passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns. He has routinely been out-snapped by Kayshon Boutte, Stefon Diggs, and Mack Hollins, making it difficult for him to carve out any sort of fantasy relevance. The 24-year-old is especially concerning this week as he takes on the Cleveland Browns, who have allowed the 15th-fewest fantasy points to slot receivers in 2025. Douglas can be left on waivers in most formats.

    From RotoBaller

Josh Downs Oct 25 8:30am CT
    Josh Downs

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Josh Downs missed his team's Week 7 contest after suffering a concussion following Week 6's win over the Arizona Cardinals. Downs practiced fully on Thursday and Friday heading into a Week 8 matchup against the Tennessee Titans and is listed without an injury designation. Downs' return crowds the Indy receiver room as Michael Pittman Jr. has been dominant in the red zone and Alec Pierce has also carved out a sizeable role for the team. Downs can't be counted on as a PPR cheat code as he was in past seasons, but he will remain a decent, high-floor, low-ceiling fantasy option in Week 8. He sets up as a solid WR4 with six NFL teams on bye this week.

    From RotoBaller

Jayden Higgins Oct 25 8:30am CT
    Jayden Higgins

Houston Texans wide receiver Jayden Higgins has a huge opportunity in front of him in Week 8, as his team hosts the 49ers on Sunday afternoon. The Texans won't have Nico Collins (concussion) or Christian Kirk (hamstring), so Higgins should step up into one of the primary wide receiver roles for C.J. Stroud. The second-round pick has struggled to get much going this season, with only nine catches for 121 yards and a touchdown in his six games. He didn't have any catches on Monday Night Football in Seattle, coming up empty for the first time this season. Higgins did play a season-high 48 snaps in that contest, and he should get more work and more targets this week. The chances will be there, but it remains to be seen if he'll rise to the challenge. He is the No. 52 WR this week in RotoBaller's rankings, and he's extremely high risk even though the potential for a breakout is definitely present.

    From RotoBaller

Daniel Jones Oct 25 8:20am CT
    Daniel Jones

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Daniel Jones continued his bounce-back season in a Week 7 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, throwing for 288 yards and two touchdowns. Jones has been impressive this season, passing for 1,790 yards, 10 touchdowns, and three interceptions while adding four rushing touchdowns. He will look to keep it going at home in Week 8 against the Tennessee Titans. The Titans have been tough on quarterbacks this season, allowing just the 25th-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far, although some of that comes from a weak Titans offense that doesn't challenge opposing passing offenses to keep their foot on the gas. At the helm at what has been a dominant offense this season, Jones is a locked-in QB1 heading into Week 8 against Tennessee.

    From RotoBaller

Rhamondre Stevenson Oct 25 8:20am CT
    Rhamondre Stevenson

New England Patriots running back Rhamondre Stevenson will look to build on last week's big game as he takes on the Cleveland Browns in Week 8. Stevenson is coming off one of his best games of the year as he posted a season-high 18 carries for 88 yards and a touchdown. The 27-year-old seemed to widen the gap between him and TreVeyon Henderson on the depth chart, leaving the rookie as nothing more than a bench stash in redraft leagues. Stevenson, on the other hand, has high-end RB2 upside, but he'll need to find success against a stingy run defense. The Browns have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs, leaving him in the high-end RB3/flex tier for now.

    From RotoBaller

Jonathan Taylor Oct 25 8:20am CT
    Jonathan Taylor

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor has been the best player in fantasy through the first seven weeks of the season. He continued his white-hot start to the year in a Week 7 win over the Los Angeles Chargers, rushing for 94 yards and three touchdowns. Taylor has rushed for 697 yards while scoring 11 all-purpose touchdowns on the year. He will look to keep it going at home against the Tennessee Titans in Week 8. The Titans have struggled against the run this season, allowing the fourth-most fantasy points per game to running backs. Taylor is in a smash spot and should be locked into all fantasy lineups as a top-three play at the running-back position.

    From RotoBaller

Woody Marks Oct 25 8:20am CT
    Woody Marks

Houston Texans running back Woody Marks had a monster game in Week 4 that made him one of the hottest names on the waiver wire market. He had a down game in Week 5 before his bye week, though, causing many to question his role going forward. When the Texans returned on Monday in Seattle, he only had 15 rushing yards on 10 carries but did add three catches for 20 receiving yards and a touchdown. Even more encouraging for his value, he played a season-high 63% of snaps, compared to just 25% of snaps for Nick Chubb. Part of that could have been due to the game script with the Texans playing from behind, but it seems like the rookie is gaining more work in the timeshare. Marks has good upside against the 49ers in Week 8 as a flex play. He is ranked as the No. 27 RB in RotoBaller's rankings for this week, making him a RB3 or flex option against the 49ers, who have allowed seven running back touchdowns in seven games on the season, including five in the last three games.

    From RotoBaller

TreVeyon Henderson Oct 25 8:20am CT
    TreVeyon Henderson

New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson saw his snap share decrease last weekend, so his fantasy outlook remains relatively bleak for Week 8 against the Cleveland Browns. The rookie played just 14 percent of the offensive snaps, which was his lowest mark so far this year. He finished with two carries and zero targets while teammate Rhamondre Stevenson had 20 touches, albeit with decent efficiency. While Stevenson has been playing well, the Patriots didn't draft Henderson to ride the bench, so his usage has been quite confusing. Until we see Henderson carve out a near-50 percent snap share and represent a threat to Stevenson's position atop the depth chart, the rookie can be avoided in fantasy football. That's especially true this week against the Browns, who have allowed the third-fewest fantasy points to running backs. Redraft and dynasty managers would be wise to leave him on their bench, as he is a solid handcuff and possesses long-term upside.

    From RotoBaller

Greg Dulcich Oct 25 8:10am CT
    Greg Dulcich

Miami Dolphins tight end Greg Dulcich was just signed to the active roster on Wednesday, but he could step into an involved role after Darren Waller (pec) landed on IR and Julian Hill (ankle) was also ruled out for Week 8. Tanner Conner is the other tight end on the roster, but has typically split time with Hill, never carrying the main workload by himself. Dulcich could work into the rotation as early as this week, and he does have a little upside since the Dolphins' passing game has been desperately looking for answers due to the injury to Tyreek Hill (knee) and the ongoing struggles of Tua Tagovailoa. Dulcich was a third-round pick in 2022 out of UCLA and spent three years with the Broncos before this season. He totaled 41 catches for 464 yards in his 16 games, and both his NFL touchdowns came in his rookie year. He is an extremely high-risk option this week since his role is completely uncertain, but he looks in position to get his first action of the year, so he's worth keeping an eye on.

    From RotoBaller

Kirk Cousins Oct 25 8:10am CT
    Kirk Cousins

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins is "highly likely" to start Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Miami Dolphins, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Michael Penix (knee) is still recovering from a bone bruise and ceded first-team reps to Cousins at practice this week. The veteran will make his first start since last season, when he completed 66.9 percent of his passes for 3,508 yards, 18 touchdowns, and 16 interceptions before being benched. Turnovers are a real concern with Cousins as he gets ready to lead Atlanta's offense. Fortunately for him, though, Miami has struggled to defend the pass, recording just one interception while allowing the third-most fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks.

    From RotoBaller

    C.J. Stroud Oct 25 8:10am CT
    C.J. Stroud

Houston Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud had a monster game before the team's bye week, but he struggled against the Seahawks on Monday night and will be without key pass-catchers in Week 8. Both Nico Collins (concussion) and Christian Kirk (hamstring) are out, so Stroud will be forced to be creative and rely on less proven options. The Texans' offense looked to be headed the right way before their bye week, and Stroud racked up six touchdown passes and no interceptions in big wins over the Titans and Ravens. In his return after 15 days off, though, he completed just 23-of-49 pass attempts for 229 yards, a touchdown, and an interception on the road in Seattle. He'll look to get back on track against a tough San Francisco defense that ranks in the middle of the pack against quarterbacks but effectively shut down the Falcons and Michael Penix Jr. last week. In this home matchup, Stroud is the No. 21 QB in RotoBaller's rankings, meaning he shouldn't be started in single-quarterback leagues and is a fringe QB2 in this matchup.

    From RotoBaller

Tanner Conner Oct 25 8:00am CT
    Tanner Conner

Miami Dolphins tight end Tanner Conner could suddenly be thrust into a larger role this week for the Dolphins after Darren Waller (pectoral) landed on IR and Julian Hill (ankle) was also ruled out for the team's Week 8 matchup with the Falcons. Conner played about 50% of snaps in the first few weeks of the season when Waller was out, but has had a reduced role since then. He had two catches for 20 yards back in Week 1, and he snagged a season-best 28-yard grab last week against the Browns. He has flashed a little upside, but how he'll deal with all the extra work is uncertain, especially in a tough matchup against the Falcons. Conner is a high-risk, speculative pickup, but his expected bump in playing time makes him worth monitoring and considering as a desperation play this week.

    From RotoBaller

    Nick Westbrook-Ikhine Oct 25 7:50am CT
    Nick Westbrook-Ikhine

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine has stepped into a much larger role in the last few weeks since Tyreek Hill (knee) was lost for the season. He played over 60% of snaps in each of the last three weeks, and last week, he finally started to get more involved. He had three catches for 16 yards on four targets last week after only totaling four catches in the first six games of the year. Despite his upward trend, he's in a tough matchup against the Falcons this week, who have allowed the second-fewest fantasy points to receivers this year. Westbrook-Ikhine is only the No. 77 WR in RotoBaller's rankings due to the difficult matchup and Miami's struggling offense, so he shouldn't be started in hardly any formats this week.

    From RotoBaller

Harold Fannin Jr. Oct 25 7:30am CT
    Harold Fannin Jr.

Cleveland Browns tight end Harold Fannin Jr. led his team with four catches for 36 yards in a 31-6 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 7 on a windy, rainy afternoon where his team only attempted 18 passes. Fannin will look to continue his breakout rookie season on the road against the New England Patriots in Week 8. The Patriots are allowing the 13th-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season, giving Fannin a nice matchup on Sunday. Fantasy managers will want to monitor the status of David Njoku (knee), who is listed as questionable with a knee injury. If Njoku is active, Fannin sets up on the TE1/TE2 borderline, but if Njoku is inactive, Fannin will be a solid, mid-range TE1 in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

David Njoku Oct 25 7:20am CT
    David Njoku

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) is officially listed as questionable ahead of his Week 8 matchup against the New England Patriots. Njoku's knee injury held him out of action in a Week 7 win over the Miami Dolphins, although he seems to be on the mend, logging limited practices all this week heading into the matchup vs. the Patriots. If Njoku is able to suit up, he will take on a New England defense that is allowing the 13th-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season. Fantasy managers rostering Njoku will want to have a backup plan in place, as his status could come down to a game-time decision. He sets up as a high-end TE2 in fantasy if he ultimately ends up playing.

    From RotoBaller

Isaiah Bond Oct 25 7:10am CT
    Isaiah Bond

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Isaiah Bond was not targeted in a 31-6 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 7. The rookie wideout had been trending up before that quiet outing, although he is not entirely at fault, as the Browns only passed the ball 18 times on a rainy, windy afternoon in Cleveland. Bond will now head on the road to face off against the New England Patriots in Week 8. The Patriots have been generous to opposing wideouts this season, allowing the 11th-most fantasy points per game to the position thus far. Bond is a risky play thanks to a below-average Cleveland passing offense, but he's on the radar as a boom/bust WR5 in fantasy in Week 8.

    From RotoBaller

Jerome Ford Oct 25 7:00am CT
    Jerome Ford

Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Ford has been filling a backup role behind Quinshon Judkins in 2025. Ford logged just one carry and caught two passes for 10 yards in a 31-6 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 7. He will now head on the road to take on the New England Patriots in Week 8. The Patriots have been tough on running backs this season, allowing just the 27th-most fantasy points per game to the position. Ford isn't involved enough in the offense to trust in fantasy outside of using him as a desperation flex/RB4 heading into Week 8. He most likely should remain on fantasy benches on Sunday.
