Treylon Burks May 1 7:20pm ET
    Treylon Burks

As expected, the Tennessee Titans officially did not pick up the fifth-year option for the 2026 season on wide receiver Treylon Burks (knee). The fifth-year option would have guaranteed Burks $15.493 million for the 2026 season, which is way too much to give a player that has missed significant time due to injury in his first three NFL seasons after he was taken 18th overall in 2022 out of Arkansas. The 25-year-old wideout tore the ACL in his knee in Week 6 of last year, too, and isn't expected to be ready for the start of the 2025 season this fall. Not much should be expected of him when he's able to return this year, especially after Tennessee added veterans Tyler Lockett and Van Jefferson in free agency this offseason. It 27 total games played (17 starts) over three seasons, Burks has just 53 catches on 92 targets for 699 yards and only one touchdown. He'll be an unrestricted free agent after the 2025 season.

Quay Walker May 1 7:10pm ET
    Quay Walker

ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports that the Green Bay Packers aren't picking up the fifth-year option for the 2026 season on linebacker Quay Walker. However, general manager Brian Gutekunst said earlier this offseason that the Packers would like to sign him to a contract extension before the 2025 season starts. The 24-year-old remains in the team's long-term plans after recording 100-plus total tackles in all three of his NFL seasons. Walker was selected 22nd overall by Green Bay in 2022 out of Georgia, and he's contributed 341 total tackles (206 solo), 6.5 sacks, 21 tackles for loss, 12 QB hits, an interception returned for a touchdown, 12 pass breakups, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in 44 regular-season games (43 starts). He played in a career-low 13 games in 2024 due to an ankle injury that cost him the final three regular-season games, but he returned to play in the wild-card loss to the Eagles.

Collin Johnson May 1 4:00pm ET
    Collin Johnson

The Las Vegas Raiders signed free-agent wideout Collin Johnson on Thursday, according to NFL.com. The former Texas Longhorn was originally a fifth-round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2020. However, he spent just one year with the team before a two-year stint with the New York Giants and two seasons with the Chicago Bears. Overall, Johnson has hauled in 31 passes for 394 yards and two touchdowns in 38 career games. After the Raiders selected Jack Bech in Round 2 and Dont'e Thornton Jr. in Round 4 of the 2025 NFL Draft, it would be a surprise if Johnson makes the active roster and is on the fantasy football radar next season.

Colston Loveland May 1 3:50pm ET
    Colston Loveland

The Chicago Bears selected former Michigan tight end Colston Loveland with the No. 10 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, and Ted Nguyen of The Athletic believes he is a good match for Ben Johnson's offense. "Loveland is a natural fit in the role Sam LaPorta has played in the Lions' offense for now-Bears head coach Ben Johnson, moving all over the formation. Loveland has a burst and runs smooth routes. He can run a wide route tree from the inside or outside," Nguyen wrote. "He'll be able to feast inside against linebackers and safeties. Few second-level defenders who will be able to hang with Loveland's crafty route running and speed." While there's reason for optimism for Loveland in 2025 fantasy football, it often takes tight ends time to develop, and the Chicago pass-catching group is crowded with wide receivers DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, and Luther Burden III. Loveland is an intriguing dynasty fantasy football asset, but expectations should be somewhat tempered in redraft setups.

Jalen Ramsey May 1 3:30pm ET
    Jalen Ramsey

The Miami Dolphins are expected to trade or release former All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey in May or June, according to NFL reporter Cameron Wolfe. The 30-year-old has spent the last two seasons with Miami, and the sides are reportedly ready to part ways. Since heading to South Beach, Ramsey has racked up 82 tackles (57 solo), one sack, 11 pass deflections, and five interceptions in 27 games. The former No. 5 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft has three All-Pro nods and seven Pro Bowl selections on his resume, but is likely headed toward the end of his time as a top-notch perimeter corner. That said, there should be no shortage of interest in his services around the NFL.

Samaje Perine May 1 3:30pm ET
    Samaje Perine

Cincinnati Bengals running back Samaje Perine is expected to have a lesser version of the two-minute, passing-down role that he held near the end of his first tenure with the organization, according to Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic. Perine spent the 2020, 2021, and 2022 seasons with the Bengals and secured 38 receptions in his final season with the team. After a year with Denver and a year with Kansas City, he's back in Joe Burrow's offense and will have somewhat of a role in the backfield. However, the 29-year-old is likely well past his prime, and Chase Brown showed enough to have confidence in him as a starting fantasy football running back in 2025. Either way, Perine could be worth rostering in deeper PPR setups based on this report.

Chimere Dike May 1 3:20pm ET
    Chimere Dike

According to Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan, fourth-round rookie wide receiver Chimere Dike can play all three wide receiver positions and will get an opportunity at each spot this offseason. Dike spent last season with the Florida Gators, racking up 42 receptions for 783 yards and two touchdowns. He began his collegiate career at Wisconsin and spent four seasons in Madison. The 22-year-old flashed his speed during the pre-draft process, posting a 4.34 forty-yard dash time at the 2025 NFL Combine. The Titans have lacked high-end speed at the wideout spot in recent years, and Dike could have a chance to earn significant playing time in a young and unproven wide receiver room. If so, he'll help rookie quarterback Cam Ward get his career started in Nashville. At worst, Dike should heavily contribute on special teams.

Sam Darnold May 1 1:40pm ET
    Sam Darnold

The Seattle Seahawks exercised offensive tackle Charles Cross' fifth-year option for the 2026 season, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Cross, the ninth overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft out of Mississippi State, is now under contract with Seattle for the next two seasons. The 24-year-old is expected to open his fourth season in the NFL in 2025 as the Seahawks' starting left tackle while protecting new quarterback Sam Darnold's blind side. In his first three years in the NFL, Cross has started all 48 games that he's appeared in and has missed only three games. He will remain a fixture on Seattle's offensive line for at least another two seasons and possibly more.

Devin Lloyd May 1 1:30pm ET
    Devin Lloyd

The Jacksonville Jaguars are not picking up the fifth-year option for the 2026 season on linebacker Devin Lloyd, a league source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Lloyd will now become an unrestricted free agent after the 2025 campaign. The 26-year-old linebacker was taken with the 27th overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft out of Utah and has been very productive for the organization, tallying 100-plus combined tackles in all three of his NFL seasons, although he's been a liability in pass coverage. Lloyd has a total of 335 tackles (195 solo), two sacks, nine tackles for loss, eight QB hits, four interceptions, 19 pass breakups, a forced fumble and four fumble recoveries in 48 games (46 starts). He finished last year as the No. 30 fantasy linebacker in IDP formats and should be one of the team's leading tacklers again in 2025 if he stays healthy.

Jaxson Dart May 1 1:20pm ET
    Jaxson Dart

The New York Giants already stated last Friday that quarterback Russell Wilson is the team's starter under center heading into the start of the 2025 season this fall after they traded into the first round to take former Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart with the 25th overall pick. General manager Joe Schoen said that Dart has a lot to learn as he transitions to an NFL offense, and "the ability for him to learn and sit behind two consummate pros already will be beneficial to him." In addition to Wilson, the G-Men also signed veteran Jameis Winston in free agency, so Dart will open his rookie year as the No. 3 QB for the Giants. Whether the 21-year-old signal-caller actually makes any starts in 2025 will depend on how effective and healthy both Wilson and Winston are in the Big Apple. Dart obviously is off the redraft fantasy radar, but he'll be an intriguing dynasty/sleeper pick this fall.

Marvin Harrison Jr. May 1 1:10pm ET
    Marvin Harrison Jr.

Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said that "when the staff is in place, the jump from Year 1 to Year 2, I think that's where guys make a huge jump," when referring to second-year wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. Gannon said that Harrison "went to work" on his weaknesses this offseason and "looks awesome out there right now." "I'm really excited to see where his game goes." The 22-year-old Ohio State product had very high expectations in his rookie year in the NFL in 2024 after being taken fourth overall by the Cardinals in last year's draft. Even though he had eight touchdowns in 17 games, his 62 receptions (116 targets) and 885 yards were considered a disappointment for fantasy managers that drafted him as a WR1 talent right away. If he can gain more chemistry with quarterback Kyler Murray, a 1,000-yard season in Year 2 in 2025 is entirely possible.

Malik Davis May 1 12:30am ET
    Malik Davis

The Dallas Cowboys announced on Wednesday that they waived running back Malik Davis, offensive linemen Jack Anderson and Earl Bostick and linebacker Brock Mogensen. Davis spent the entire 2024 season on the Cowboys' practice squad and then signed a Reserve/Futures deal with the organization in early January. The 26-year-old former undrafted free agent out of the University of Florida played in only three games with Dallas in 2023 and has 38 rushing attempts for 161 yards and one touchdown in his two years in the NFL. Davis played 45 snaps on special teams in three games in 2023 and wasn't used at all on offense. He will now be looking to join another team before training camps kick off at the end of July.

Anthony Firkser May 1 12:20am ET
    Anthony Firkser

The Kansas City Chiefs released tight ends Anthony Firkser and Baylor Cupp, linebacker Shaun Bradley, offensive guard McKade Mettauer and safety Jason Taylor on Wednesday, according to KPRC's Aaron Wilson. They also received an international exemption for offensive tackle Chukwuebuka Godrick. Firkser is the biggest name of the bunch. The 30-year-old veteran tight end played for both the Chiefs and New York Jets last year but didn't contribute at all on offense and wasn't targeted in the passing game in seven total games with both teams. He signed a Reserve/Futures deal after KC's Super Bowl loss to the Philadelphia Eagles but will now be searching for a new organization after the 2025 NFL draft. Firkser hasn't caught a pass in the NFL since 2022 with the Atlanta Falcons.

John Metchie III May 1 12:20am ET
    John Metchie III

The Houston Chronicle's Jonathan M. Alexander projects Houston Texans wide receiver John Metchie III to be left off the 53-man roster entering the start of the 2025 season this fall after the team added receivers Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel in last week's draft. Houston also added Christian Kirk, Justin Watson and Braxton Berrios in free agency this offseason, creating a lot of competition for the 24-year-old, who has battled injuries and a cancer scare to produce just 40 catches for 412 yards and one touchdown since being drafted in the second round (44th overall) in 2022 out of Alabama. Alexander expects Metchie, Xavier Hutchinson, Berrios and Watson to be battling for the final two receiver spots this summer behind Higgins, Kirk and Nico Collins. Metchie is entering the final year of his rookie contract in 2025 and could be a trade candidate if it's clear he's not going to make the roster.

Elijah Moore Apr 30 8:10pm ET
    Elijah Moore

Cleveland Browns free-agent wide receiver Elijah Moore signed with the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday on a one-year deal for $5 million maximum, sources tell NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Moore will head to the AFC East to give quarterback Josh Allen another weapon alongside wideouts Keon Coleman, Khalil Shakir, Joshua Palmer, Curtis Samuel and rookie Kaden Prather. The 25-year-old former second-rounder (34th overall) by the New York Jets in 2021 out of Mississippi caught a career-high 61 passes on 102 targets for 538 yards and one touchdown in 17 games (13 starts) in 2024 in his second year with Cleveland. The 5-foot-10, 180-pounder could have a tough time standing out in fantasy yet again in a Buffalo offense that prided itself on spreading things around a season ago. Moore has never had more than 640 receiving yards or five touchdowns in a single season since debuting in the NFL in 2021.

Devonte Wyatt Apr 30 3:00pm ET
    Devonte Wyatt

The Green Bay Packers have officially picked up defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt's fifth-year option ahead of the May 1 deadline, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz. Wyatt was the No. 28 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Georgia and has tallied 74 tackles (43 solo), 12 sacks, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries, and 12 run stuffs in 47 career games. The 300-pounder has pass-rush skills from the interior that are valuable to any defense. He is now locked in with the organization through the 2026 campaign and will earn $12.9 million guaranteed on the final year of his rookie deal.

Jordan Travis Apr 30 2:40pm ET
    Jordan Travis

New York Jets quarterback Jordan Travis (leg) is retiring from football after being medically advised to end his career, he announced on X. The former Florida State quarterback suffered a major leg injury in November of 2023 after leading the Seminoles to an 11-0 record. His season ended ahead of postseason action, but he was still selected by the Jets in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft. Travis spent the entire 2024 season rehabilitating his injury, but rehab efforts were unsuccessful. Travis never got to play a snap in the NFL, but he'll end his football journey at age 24 with an ACC Offensive Player of the Year award and two all-ACC selections in 2022 and 2023.

Montravius Adams Apr 30 2:30pm ET
    Montravius Adams

The Pittsburgh Steelers released defensive lineman Montravius Adams on Wednesday, the team announced on X. Adams spent the last four seasons with the Steelers following one season with the New Orleans Saints and four seasons with the Green Bay Packers. The former third-round pick out of Auburn in 2017 saw his playing time dramatical dip in 2024, recording zero starts after making 17 starts in the two seasons prior. Overall, the veteran has tallied 123 tackles (61 solo), 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, seven pass deflections, and 14.5 run stuffs in 96 career games. While he's unlikely to be a clear-cut starter moving forward, there are plenty of teams lacking interior defensive line depth that could be interested in his services.

    From RotoBaller

Jordan Davis Apr 30 2:20pm ET
    Jordan Davis

The Philadelphia Eagles exercised the fifth-year option on defensive tackle Jordan Davis, according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero. Davis, the former No. 13 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Georgia, has tallied 90 tackles (41 solo), 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, four pass deflections, and 13 run stuffs in 47 career games. His counting stats don't do his play justice as an interior run-clogger, but he's an important piece on the dominant Philly defensive front, so this move comes as no surprise. This will keep Davis with the organization through the 2026 campaign, barring a trade or unexpected situation.

Shedeur Sanders Apr 30 2:10pm ET
    Shedeur Sanders

The NFL is fining the Atlanta Falcons $250,000 and defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich $100,000 due to the leak of quarterback Shedeur Sanders' phone number ahead of the 2025 NFL Draft, according to NFL insiders Ian Rapoport, Tom Pelissero, and Mike Garafolo. Ulbrich's son, Jax, used the phone number to prank call Sanders on Day 2 of last week's draft. The 21-year-old issued a public apology days later, and the NFL is looking into ways to stop this from happening in the future.
