The Buffalo Bills have traded up to the 41st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. In full, Buffalo acquired the 41st, 72nd, and 240th picks from the Chicago Bears in exchange for the 56th, 62nd, and 109th picks. The Bills drafted cornerback Maxwell Hairston with their own pick in the first round Thursday, and now they're making an aggressive trade to move up in the second round. The deal also arms Chicago with two new second-round picks, plus a fourth-round selection. The Bears have been very devoted to improving their offense so far, selecting Michigan tight end Colston Loveland and Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden.UPDATE: Buffalo took South Carolina defensive tackle T.J. Sanders with the 41st overall pick.

The Bears selected wide receiver Luther Burdenout of Missouri with the No. 39 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Burden earned first-team All-SEC honors in 2024 after leading the Tigers with 61 catches for 676 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns. He was even better in 2023 with 86 catches for 1,212 yards and 9 receiving touchdowns. He joins a very crowded wide receiver room alongside DJ Moore and Rome Odunze, but he gives the Bears even more options for second-year QB Caleb Williams in new head coach Ben Johnson's offense. If Burden steps in as the primary slot receiver in Johnson's system, he could be set for a huge rookie year as he plays the role that made Amon-Ra St. Brown a star in Detroit. He'll be high-risk until we get a clearer picture of his role, but he has a very high ceiling if he secures enough of the target share in Chicago.

The Patriots selected running back TreVeyon Henderson from Ohio State near the start of the second round with the No. 38 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Last year, Henderson helped lead the Buckeyes to the 2025 College Football Playoffs National Championship and scored 48 career touchdowns, the third-most in OSU history. He also ranks third in the history of Ohio State in all-purpose yards with 4,614 career yards. In 2024, he averaged 7.1 yards per carry and racked up 1,016 yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground while adding 284 receiving yards and a touchdown as a receiver. His one receiving touchdown came in the Cotton Bowl against Texas. Henderson will join Rhamondre Stevenson, who just signed a four-year, $36 million extension before last season, and Antonio Gibson, who has two years left on his contract. Henderson is an interesting addition to the mix, but his role and playing time is very uncertain unless the Patriots move on from one of those veteran rushers.

The Cleveland Browns selected Ohio State running back Quinshon Judkins with the 36th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. This was Cleveland's third selection of the draft, but the first they spent on an offensive player. Judkins is no stranger to the state of Ohio after spending his final collegiate season with the Buckeyes. As a senior, he totaled 1,060 rushing yards, 161 receiving yards, and 16 total touchdowns. The Browns hope Judkins can step up as their next franchise running back after a brief period of inconsistency at the position. Nick Chubb was previously the go-to running back in Cleveland, but he was never the same after his brutal knee injury in 2023. Chubb is currently a free agent, and the Browns entered the draft with a backfield featuring Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong Jr. Look for Kevin Stefanski to get Judkins involved right away, even if Ford and Strong remain involved to open the season.

The Houston Texans selected Iowa State wide receiver Jayden Higgins with the 34th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Houston obtained this pick from the New York Giants, who previously moved up to select Jaxson Dart in Round 1. After four wide receivers were drafted in the first round of the draft Thursday night, Higgins became the first receiver selected in the second round Friday. He caught 87 passes for 1,183 yards and nine touchdowns during his final collegiate season. Known for his large wingspan and outstanding ball skills, Higgins could contribute right away with the Texans. Houston lost Stefon Diggs via free agency this offseason, and they'll likely open the 2025 season without Tank Dell (knee) as he recovers from a torn ACL. Higgins will have a chance to earn reps in three-receiver sets alongside Nico Collins and offseason addition Christian Kirk.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero said on the Dan Patrick Show that it's "entirely possible" that Louisville quarterback Tyler Shough is taken in Round 2 of the 2025 NFL draft on Friday night before Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders. "The wildest rumor is that the third QB off the board will not be Shedeur Sanders, it will not be Jalen Milroe it'll be Tyler Shough," Pelissero said. Shough was Justin Herbert's backup at Oregon for two years, but he's gained a lot of steam going into the second round and could go as high as No. 33 overall to the Cleveland Browns. The 25-year-old's experience, size (6-foot-5, 219 pounds) and arm strength are all things that are intriguing to NFL teams and that could set him apart from Sanders. Like Sanders, Shough is more of a pocket passer, but teams could be scared away from him early in the second round after he suffered injuries in three straight years.

The Las Vegas Raiders waived running back Isaiah Spiller, wide receiver Ramel Keyton, cornerback M.J. Devonshire, defensive tackle Tyler Manoa and linebackers Kana'i Mauga and Jackson Mitchell before the start of Round 2 of the 2025 NFL draft on Friday. Spiller, the former fourth-rounder by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2022 out of Texas A&M, is by far the biggest name on this list of cuts for the Raiders. The 23-year-old didn't see the field at all in 2024 and will now hit the open market after the Raiders pulled the trigger and took Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty at No. 6 overall in the first round on Thursday evening. In his two seasons with the Chargers in 2022 and 2023, Spiller had only 55 rushing attempts for 137 yards (2.5 yards per carry) and no touchdowns. He added nine receptions for 47 yards through the air. Spiller will now look to latch on with another team as RB depth.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo says that Virginia Tech running back Bhayshul Tuten has gained steam as a potential pick in the third round of this year's NFL draft on Friday night. Garafolo thinks that Tuten is a good match for the Dallas Cowboys, a team that he visited with during the pre-draft process. Tuten ran the fastest 40-yard dash (4.32 seconds) among all RBs at this year's scouting combine back in February. He has average size at 5-foot-9 and 206 pounds, but he is explosive on the ground and has elite straight-line speed as a downhill runner. The Cowboys are being coy about not having to take a running back in this year's draft, but we're not buying that they are comfortable going into the 2025 season with Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders as their top backs. This year's RB class is deep, though, so Dallas should have plenty to choose from at pick No. 76 overall in Round 3 on Friday night.

NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe reports that the Cleveland Browns are fielding calls for the first pick of Round 2 on Friday night at No. 33 overall. The Browns already agreed to a blockbuster trade with the Jacksonville Jaguars at the top of the first round on Thursday that moved them from the No. 2 pick to No. 5, where they selected Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham. Cleveland has more reason to trade back in the second round after acquiring the No. 36 overall pick from the Jaguars on Thursday. If the Browns stay put with the first pick in the second round, it's possible they could take Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders after he fell out of the first round entirely. Cleveland is one of the most QB-needy team with Deshaun Watson (Achilles) expected to miss all of 2025 and with only Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett their current healthy options.

The Athletic's Dianna Russini reports that the Pittsburgh Steelers have been receiving calls about the availability of wide receiver George Pickens, according to sources. The Steelers are open to conversations as they navigate the second round of this year's NFL draft. Pittsburgh gave away their second-round pick this year to acquire wideout DK Metcalf from the Seattle Seahawks earlier this offseason. At No. 21 overall in the first round on Thursday night, the Steelers passed on a quarterback and running back to select Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon. They are now weighing their needs at QB and RB heading into the second round on Friday night against a potential trade of Pickens, who has displayed maturity issues in his time with the team. The Steelers are excited about the possibility of having a 1-2 punch of Metcalf and Pickens, but they might cave in if they're presented with a great offer.

Dallas Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said on 105.3 The Fan that the team doesn't necessarily have to draft a running back this year. "I like what we did in free agency. We don't really feel like we have to pick a position anywhere. We don't feel the need to have to reach," Jones said. Dallas let last year's starter, Rico Dowdle, walk in free agency while adding both Javonte Williams and Miles Sanders. A backfield led by Williams and Sanders in 2025 would be a step back for the Cowboys after a disappointing 2024 season that ended without a postseason appearance, so we would be surprised if Dallas didn't address their backfield in this year's draft, possibly in the second round on Friday night. They have one pick in Round 2 (44th overall) and one pick in Round 3 (76th overall), and there's a pretty good chance one of those will go to the RB position.

Now that the Tennessee Titans officially took Miami quarterback Cam Ward with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night, former second-round QB Will Levis could be traded soon after going 5-16 a a starter with more turnovers (26 interceptions and fumbles lost combined) than touchdown passes (21). General manager Ran Carthon, who traded up for Levis in 2023, has already been fired, and Levis was benched in 2024. The Titans have insisted that Levis will be given a chance to compete with Ward, but the Titans still lack a third-round pick in this year's draft, and trading Levis could get them back into that round. The 25-year-old's dynasty stock has already taken a big hit after he looked terrible as Tennessee's starter last year, and now with Ward in town, the best hope for his long-term value is a trade out of town.

Carolina Panthers rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan said that quarterback Bryce Young told head coach Dave Canales and general manager Dan Morgan that the team needed to draft him. Young vouched for McMillan, and the Panthers listed and selected the 22-year-old Arizona product with the eighth overall pick of the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. The 6-foot-4 pass-catcher excels on contested catches down the field and should immediately be a starter in three-wide sets for the team in 2025 next to Xavier Legette and veteran Adam Thielen. McMillan will give Young a wide catch radius, but there are questions about how much separation he will be able to get on a consistent basis at the next level. If it's true that Young was adamant about the team drafting McMillan, the two could quickly form a strong connection that helps McMillan become fantasy relevant in Year 1.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero says that the Jacksonville Jaguars plan to have rookie two-way star Travis Hunter start out in their wide receivers room, but they also plan to have him meet with the defensive backs and practice on the defensive side of the ball. Jacksonville pulled off a blockbuster trade with the Cleveland Browns (that included a first-round pick in 2026) to move up to second overall on Thursday night to take the 21-year-old Heisman Trophy winner. The Jags are looking to make a splash under first-year general manager James Gladstone and head coach Liam Coen, and Hunter should help them do that. First and foremost, they want Hunter to work on offense as they look to help quarterback Trevor Lawrence rebound from a disappointing and injury-plagued 2024. It's unclear how big of a role Hunter will have on offense initially, but this is an early good sign for his rookie fantasy value.

The Detroit Lions exercised wide receiver Jameson Williams' fifth-year option for the 2026 season on Friday, a source tells ESPN's Field Yates. This was a no-brainer move for the Lions after Williams broke out with his first 1,000-yard receiving season in 2024. The 24-year-old former first-rounder out of Ohio State is projected to make $15.49 million in 2026 on his fifth-year option. Williams played in only 18 games (10 starts) in his first two years in the NFL due to recovery from a torn ACL in his final year in college and a suspension for gambling last year. In 15 games (11 starts) during the regular season a year ago, he caught 58 of 91 targets for 1,001 yards and seven touchdowns. He also added 11 carries for 61 yards and a TD. Williams has big-play ability every time he touches the ball, but his lack of volume in a loaded Detroit offense is worrisome and makes him a boom-or-bust fantasy commodity.

The Detroit Lions exercised defensive end Aidan Hutchinson's (leg) fifth-year option for the 2026 season on Friday, a source told ESPN's Field Yates. This was the expected move, even though Hutchinson only played in five games in 2024 in his third year in the league due to a fractured tibia and fibula in his left leg. The 24-year-old was a first-time Pro Bowler in 2023 and finished second in Defensive Rookie of the Year voting back in 2022. Hutchinson has proven to be one of the best young pass-rushers in the NFL and has recorded 28.5 sacks in his first 39 starts for the Lions. He posted a video of himself sprinting at the team's facilities back in February, so barring a setback this offseason, he should be ready to go for Week 1 of the 2025 regular season this fall. If Hutchinson is all systems go, he should be one of the first defensive linemen off the board in IDP fantasy drafts.

Dynasty | Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden was not selected in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: Burden saw Travis Hunter, Tetairoa McMillan, Matthew Golden and Emeka Egbuka all get their names called on the first night but didn't have his own phone ring. He should find a team in short order but the fact he fell out of the first round solidifies the idea NFL Scouts believe his massive drop-off in production this season wasn't entirely the fault of his quarterback or a poor offense. The longer Burden goes without a home, the more risk dynasty managers are going to have using a rookie pick for his services.

The Baltimore Ravens selected Georgia defensive back Malaki Starks with the No. 27 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. Starks will play center field at the safety position for Baltimore, a big position of need for the Ravens entering this year's draft. He has a very high football character and IQ and was named as a second-team All SEC player while leading the Bulldogs with 77 tackles and started all 14 games in 2024. Starks was a three-year starter for Georgia and plenty of size, athleticism, speed and ball skills to excel right away next to Kyle Hamilton in Baltimore's secondary. He doesn't play much near the line of scrimmage, but Starks should be a starter for the Ravens sooner than later. Starks has played much better in zone defense than when he's asked to cover receivers in man-to-man coverage.

Dynasty | The Los Angeles Chargers drafted running back Omarion Hampton with the 22nd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: After the Broncos and Steelers both passed on Hampton, he fell right into the lap of the Chargers towards the end of round one. They certainly won't complain as Hampton should form a solid running back committee with newly signed Najee Harris. While many dynasty managers may be slamming their hands on the table because they wanted to see Hampton drafted in a more desirable place for short-term production, one only needs to look at the contract of Harris and realize Hampton is a year away from possible bellcow status. Savvy dynasty managers should look at this as a solid spot and Hampton looks like a top-3 pick in dynasty leagues moving forward.

Dynasty | The Green Bay Packers drafted Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden with the 23rd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: And with that, the streak is over as the Packers hadn't taken a wide receiver in round one since 2002. Golden slots in with the likes of Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks in what looks to be a pretty crowded room of good wide receivers. The difference is Golden has a chance to be great and we haven't really seen that consistently from any of the others on the roster. Golden slid a little in the draft but ended up landing in a good spot from a dynasty standpoint. Golden was a top-10 pick in the pre-draft process and he'll likely stay in that range post-draft.
