CeeDee Lamb Oct 12 8:00am CT
    CeeDee Lamb

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (ankle) has already been ruled out ahead of the Week 6 matchup against the Carolina Panthers. This marks the third straight absence for Lamb, but he might not be out too much longer. According to Ian Rapoport, Lamb could return for next week's matchup against the Washington Commanders. This is great news for fantasy managers who only got two solid games out of Lamb before he went down. For now, George Pickens and Jake Ferguson figure to be the primary receiving options with Ryan Flournoy being mixed in as well.

Alvin Kamara Oct 12 8:00am CT
    Alvin Kamara

New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara has been a possible mid-season trade target given the direction the organization is going right now. The Los Angeles Chargers are reportedly in the market for a running back with multiple backs going down with injuries. On paper, Kamara makes sense for the Chargers, but the 30-year-old doesn't want to leave New Orleans. Kamara said he wants to stay with the Saints and retire with the organization. It remains to be seen if something will change over the next few weeks, but for now Kamara is resistant to any trades.

Brock Bowers Oct 12 7:40am CT
    Brock Bowers

Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers (knee) has already been ruled out ahead of the Week 6 matchup against the Tennessee Titans. According to Ian Rapoport, Bowers is unlikely to suit up for next week's matchup versus the Kansas City Chiefs. Bowers has been dealing with a PCL injury that he suffered Week 1. His timetable was revealed as week-to-week, so fantasy managers shouldn't be shocked if Bowers misses a third straight game. His absence means that Michael Mayer will take over as the primary tight end on this offense. Mayer is worth a stash for tight end needy fantasy managers, but isn't a recommended streaming option in Week 6.

Khalil Herbert Oct 12 7:40am CT
    Khalil Herbert

New York Jets running back Khalil Herbert and wide receiver Allen Lazard are inactive ahead of the Week 6 matchup against the Denver Broncos. As expected, Lazard is out as he didn't make the trip to England due to personal reasons. His absence won't mean much for this offense given he has four receptions for 24 yards and one touchdown this season. Arian Smith figures to see a majority of the snaps as the third wideout. As for Herbert, he's a healthy scratch as he's too far down on this depth chart to make a serious impact. Kene Nwangwu figures to do the kick returning with Herbert out.

Ricky Pearsall Oct 12 7:30am CT
    Ricky Pearsall

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) has already been ruled out ahead of the Week 6 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He'll miss his second straight game due to a lingering knee issue. According to Adam Schefter, Pearsall could make his return to the field for the Week 7 matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. Given the injuries to this offense, Pearsall figures to be a focal point in the receiving game once he's healthy enough to play. Hopefully, fantasy managers will only be without him for one more week. His absence figures to mean more involvement for Jauan Jennings (rib, ankle) and Kendrick Bourne.

Jaydon Blue Oct 12 7:20am CT
    Jaydon Blue

Dallas Cowboys running back Jaydon Blue is set for an increase in playing time Sunday against Carolina after the team previously announced that Miles Sanders (knee, ankle) would miss the rest of the season following surgery. The elevation, however, will still keep Blue behind starter Javonte Williams, who is in the midst of a resurgent 2025 season. The rookie was a healthy inactive for the first month of the season, then played 11 snaps in his first game last week against the New York Jets. Although Blue will factor into the Dallas offense, he's not likely to earn enough volume to be playable yet, at least while Williams is healthy.

    From RotoBaller

Ryan Flournoy Oct 12 7:20am CT
    Ryan Flournoy

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Ryan Flournoy is coming off a fantastic performance in Week 5. Flournoy hauled in six of his nine targets for 114 yards in the win over the New York Jets. The 25-year-old came out of nowhere and posted a career-game last week. The assumption is that the Cowboys are going to keep him involved going forward. This offense remains without their top option in CeeDee Lamb (ankle) for Week 6. That being said, George Pickens figures to draw the most attention on defense, which could leave Flournoy in favorable coverage. The lack of prior success does make Flournoy a risky choice. He's more of a flex option in deep leagues because it's unclear if he can duplicate that performance.

    From RotoBaller

Terry McLaurin Oct 12 7:10am CT
    Terry McLaurin

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quad) could return to the lineup in Week 7, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The former Ohio State star is slated to miss his third consecutive game on Monday against the Chicago Bears, although it appears next week's game against the Dallas Cowboys could be in play. McLaurin has not yet had a breakout week this season after scoring a new contract, but he finished as PPR WR No. 7 last year and figures to be highly involved once back to full health.

    From RotoBaller

Sterling Shepard Oct 12 7:00am CT
    Sterling Shepard

On a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team hampered by injuries at wide receiver, veteran Sterling Shepard has seen a rapid increase in fantasy value as his team prepares to play San Francisco in Week 6. Chris Godwin (leg) and Mike Evans (hamstring) already have been ruled out for the game, slotting in Shepard as the team's likely second receiver behind Emeka Egbuka. Shepard has seen at least four targets in every game this season and scored his first touchdown of the year last week. The Niners are mid-tier against fantasy receivers, but Shepard should receive enough volume to be considered a flex option, especially in deeper leagues.

Trevon Diggs Oct 12 6:40am CT
    Trevon Diggs

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network is reporting that Dallas Cowboys cornerback Trevon Diggs (knee) is expected to play when his team takes on the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. The corner was listed as questionable on the final injury report. The Cowboys are also likely to have DaRon Bland (shoulder), who was also listed as questionable on the injury report, giving Dallas its top two corners against Carolina. Dallas is allowing 7.5 net yards per attempt this season, which ranks dead last in the NFL.

    From RotoBaller

Brock Purdy Oct 12 6:30am CT
    Brock Purdy

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy (toe) could return in Week 7, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Already ruled out for Week 6, Purdy will have missed four of six games going into next week. Mac Jones (oblique) is expected to play on Sunday, which should provide stability for a 49ers team that ranks second in the league in passing yards. The irony is that fantasy managers who took Purdy because of his reliability have gotten anything but, as injury issues have made his availability a weekly guessing game. If Purdy is finally ready to return full-time next week, he should once again deserve lineup consideration, especially in two-quarterback formats.

    From RotoBaller

DaRon Bland Oct 12 6:30am CT
    DaRon Bland

The Dallas Cowboys are likely to have cornerback DaRon Bland (shoulder) active when they take on the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Bland was limited in practice all week. The fourth-year corner missed a pair of games this season with a foot injury and is listed as questionable for Sunday, though it appears he will play. Rapoport also reported that Dallas is likely to have fellow corner Trevon Diggs (knee), giving the Cowboys another option to match against Carolina rookie wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan.

    From RotoBaller

Jauan Jennings Oct 12 12:10am CT
    Jauan Jennings

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle, rib) is expected to be available for Sunday's road matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jennings has been in and out of the lineup this season while battling through an ankle injury and other secondary injuries, but he's projected to gut it out in Week 6 against the hosting Buccaneers. San Francisco's offense still has a way to go before returning to full strength, but Jennings' return will also coincide with quarterback Mac Jones (knee, oblique) getting the nod to play, so they won't be without all of their playmakers. With teammate Ricky Pearsall (knee) still sidelined, fellow WRs Kendrick Bourne and Demarcus Robinson will continue to see extra playing time behind Jennings. It wouldn't be surprising to see the 28-year-old eased back in.

    From RotoBaller

Mac Jones Oct 12 12:00am CT
    Mac Jones

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones (oblique) is expected to be active for his team's matchup with the hosting Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jones has now dealt with knee and oblique injuries over the past few weeks, but will again get the start for the 49ers despite logging a week's worth of limited practices. Schefter also notes that teammate Brock Purdy (toe) has a "chance" to return in Week 7. It's excellent news for San Francisco, as the team is dealing with a mess of injuries on both sides of the ball. Reportedly, the team should also have wide receiver Jauan Jennings (ankle, rib) active, aiding Jones with Ricky Pearsall (knee) still at least a week away.

Zay Flowers Oct 11 11:30pm CT
    Zay Flowers

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers (shoulder) is expected to be available for his team's matchup with visiting Los Angeles Rams, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Boston College alum was a limited participant in practice this week due to a shoulder injury. Despite the questionable designation, Flowers will prepare to play on Sunday, but will again be without quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring), lowering the floor and ceiling of all Ravens' skill players. The 25-year-old was the team's leading receiver in Week 5 with Cooper Rush at the helm, but it's unclear if his ailing shoulder will limit his snaps. If that's the case, teammates DeAndre Hopkins and Rashod Bateman are the most likely wideouts to see an uptick in targets, with tight end Mark Andrews set to absorb more work as well.

    From RotoBaller

Quentin Johnston Oct 11 11:20pm CT
    Quentin Johnston

ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Quentin Johnston (hamstring) is trending toward being inactive for Sunday's road meeting with the Miami Dolphins. Johnston picked up a hamstring injury that limited him at practice leading up to Sunday's outing, leaving him with a questionable tag. However, it appears he won't be healthy enough to suit up against the hosting Dolphins. Fellow wideouts Keenan Allen and Ladd McConkey figure to pick up a few extra looks in his absence, while rookies Tre Harris and Keandre Lambert-Smith should benefit from an uptick in snaps. Tight end Oronde Gadsden could also be in for an elevated workload with Johnston sidelined.

    From RotoBaller

Chris Moore Oct 11 9:50pm CT
    Chris Moore

Washington Commanders wide receiver Chris Moore has played as the primary outside receiver while top receivers Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (quad, knee) have missed multiple games. Moore has played at least 50% of the snaps in each of the past three weeks, but hasn't been a real target earner and has dropped multiple balls as well, including a touchdown last week against the Chargers. He's caught just two of six targets since Week 3. If Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) is unable to go on Monday against the Bears, then Moore could see a bump in targets. Even then, Moore is not a recommended option for Week 6.

    From RotoBaller

Zach Ertz Oct 11 9:50pm CT
    Zach Ertz

Washington Commanders tight end Zach Ertz was held catchless in a game in Week 5 against the Chargers for the first time since Week 13 of the 2014 season, crazy enough. Ertz has been a reliable target over the middle for quarterback Jayden Daniels, but the two did not connect on just one target in Week 5. He'll look to get back on track Monday night against a Bears defense that has allowed nearly 30 points per game through four weeks. And Ertz could see an increase in targets if star receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) is unable to play. Ertz remains a low-end TE1 for Monday night.

    From RotoBaller

Jaylin Lane Oct 11 9:40pm CT
    Jaylin Lane

Washington Commanders wide receiver Jaylin Lane has made a big impact as a punt returner this season and has made plays when his number has been called on offense. Lane has seen more time on offense with top wide receivers Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (quad, knee), both dealing with mult-game absences. Lane caught only one ball in Washington's Week 5 win over the Chargers, but it came on a crucial 3rd and 16 deep in their own territory in the second quarter that helped sustain the drive and lead to their first touchdown of the game. And if Deebo Samuel Sr. (heel) is unable to go, Lane would likely be in line to take some of those designed and underneath targets to get the ball in his hands. Samuel looks like a true game-time decision, which is a frustrating situation on Monday night. The rookie wide receiver has upside against a Bears defense that has allowed the sixth most PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers through four games this season.

    From RotoBaller

Luke McCaffrey Oct 11 9:30pm CT
    Luke McCaffrey

Washington Commanders wide receiver Luke McCaffrey has made a handful of spectacular plays over the last few weeks, with star wide receiver Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) injured. McLaurin is now ruled out for the third consecutive game and opens up more routes for McCaffrey, who has been taking advantage. The second-year wide receiver had one of the highlight plays of Week 5, making an incredibly difficult diving catch on a beautiful 50-yard deep pass from Jayden Daniels. McCaffrey hasn't drawn a high number of targets, but his playmaking ability has been evident, and Daniels' faith in him appears to be growing by the week. McCaffrey will have a chance to stack his positive performances in Week 6 against the Bears, who have allowed the sixth most PPR points per game to opposing wide receivers. He is on the WR4-WR5 line for Week 6.
