The Philadelphia Eagles swapped late first-round picks with the Kansas City Chiefs and selected Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell with the No. 31 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. If not for shoulder injuries -- he had surgery to fix a torn labrum in March -- Campbell might have been a top-15 pick in this year's draft. The 21-year-old 6-foot-3, 235-pounder was still a first-team All-SEC selection in 2024 after he led the Crimson Tide with 117 tackles (11.5 for loss) and five sacks. He was also tied for the team lead with two forced fumbles and started all 13 games. Campbell is expected to be ready to roll for training camp this summer, at which point the Eagles will try to figure out where he'll fit best in their already strong defense. He has elite traits and physical talent and could be best utilized as a 3-4 rush linebacker.

The Kansas City Chiefs have traded the 31st pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for the 32nd and 164th overall picks. After losing some key defensive players in free agency, the Eagles moved up a spot in the draft to select Alabama linebacker Jihaad Campbell at pick 31.

The Buffalo Bills selected Kentucky cornerback Maxwell Hairston with the No. 30 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. Hairston is a speedy coverage cornerback deep down the field that is projected to develop into a plus starter eventually. The 5-foot-11, 183-pounder missed five games in 2024 with a shoulder injury and started seven games, totaling 19 tackles, a sack, an interception returned for a touchdown, four pass breakups and two forced fumbles. The 21-year-old stands out for his 4.28-second 40-yard dash speed, but his tackling abilities are questionable, and he could be suspect to more injuries at the NFL level while having to match up with big, physical receivers down the field. Early on in his NFL debut in 2025, Hairston probably won't play regularly, but he'll give Buffalo a speedy cover man to match up with burners on offense.

The Washington Commanders beefed up their offensive line and selected Oregon offensive tackle Josh Conerly Jr. with the No. 29 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. Conerly stands at 6-foot-5, 311 pounds and was a first-team All-Big Ten selection in 2024 with the Ducks. He was also a finalist for the Joe Moore Award as the nation's top offensive lineman. Conerly started all 14 games for Oregon last year at left tackle and has excellent athleticism on the edge. The Commanders pulled off a trade with the Houston Texans this offseason to add left tackle Laremy Tunsil to help protect impressing young quarterback Jayden Daniels, so the 21-year-old Conerly could be shifted to right tackle in his first year in the NFL in D.C. Expect Conerly to head into training camp this summer to push Andrew Wylie at right tackle this summer.

The Detroit Lions selected Ohio State defensive tackle Tyleik Williams with the No. 28 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. Detroit opted to bolster the interior of their defensive line with their first-round pick this year with Williams, who stands at 6-foot-3, 334 pounds. The 22-year-old was a third-team All-Big Ten selection in 2024 after starting 13 games for the national champions. He recorded 46 tackles (eight for loss) and 2.5 sacks while missing three games due to injury. Williams had impressive tackle production as a run-clogger up the middle thanks to his nimble feet. He has the ability to dominant man-to-man matchups with offensive guards but will need to work on his hands at the next level with the Lions. The former Buckeye probably won't be a big sack guy, at least initially, which makes him a long shot to be worth a look in IDP fantasy formats in 2025.

The New York Giants traded back into the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft to take Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart with the No. 25 overall pick. It was thought that the Giants might make a move into the first round to select a QB. However, it was presumed that Colorado signal-caller Shedeur Sanders would be the pick. Dart had improved in each of his seasons in college, culminating in a solid 2024 in which he tossed 4,279 yards and 29 TDs on a 69.3% completion percentage. Although Dart was not initially considered a first-round prospect, he had gained steam over the last few months of the process. It's an interesting situation in New York, as he'll have some time to learn behind Giants' off-season acquisitions Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson for the foreseeable future. The 21-year-old possesses a bit of dual-threat ability, making him a more tantalizing option than Wilson or Winston for fantasy. Still, when he may hit the field is unclear.

The Los Angeles Rams have traded the No. 26 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft to the Atlanta Falcons in exchange for the 46th pick, 242nd pick, and a first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. The Rams also moved the 101st overall pick in the deal. With the third trade of the night, the Falcons moved up to select Tennessee defensive end James Pearce Jr.

The Minnesota Vikings have selected Ohio State offensive lineman Donovan Jackson with the No. 24 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Jackson has tackle and guard experience, but he projects to move back inside for Minnesota due to his prowess in the run game. The 22-year-old has enough athleticism to be efficient at the second level and is an excellent choice to lead on long pulls and counters in the run game. Aside from losing center Garrett Bradbury in free agency, Minnesota's offensive line is on the rise heading into 2025 with the return of tackle Christian Darrisaw and the addition of Jackson. It bodes well for second-year signal-caller J.J. McCarthy -- when he's healthy -- and the run game headed by RB Aaron Jones ahead of next season.

The Baltimore Ravens selected Georgia defensive back Malaki Starks with the No. 27 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. Starks will play center field at the safety position for Baltimore, a big position of need for the Ravens entering this year's draft. He has a very high football character and IQ and was named as a second-team All SEC player while leading the Bulldogs with 77 tackles and started all 14 games in 2024. Starks was a three-year starter for Georgia and plenty of size, athleticism, speed and ball skills to excel right away next to Kyle Hamilton in Baltimore's secondary. He doesn't play much near the line of scrimmage, but Starks should be a starter for the Ravens sooner than later. Starks has played much better in zone defense than when he's asked to cover receivers in man-to-man coverage.

Dynasty | The Tampa Bay Bucs drafted wide receiver Emeka Egbuka with the 19th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: While Mike Evans and Chris Godwin have remained the obvious 1-2 punch in Tampa Bay, there was a chance that Jalen McMillan was going to see a little more action in 2025. That doesn't look to be the case anymore. The Bucs should continue to run plenty of 3-WR sets, but that will no doubt be Evans/Godwin/Egbuka, as long as they all stay healthy. With that said, Evans will be a free agent after 2025, and Godwin missed ten games last season, so McMillan may remain a hold where roster space allows.

Dynasty | The Los Angeles Chargers drafted running back Omarion Hampton with the 22nd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: After the Broncos and Steelers both passed on Hampton, he fell right into the lap of the Chargers towards the end of round one. They certainly won't complain as Hampton should form a solid running back committee with newly signed Najee Harris. While many dynasty managers may be slamming their hands on the table because they wanted to see Hampton drafted in a more desirable place for short-term production, one only needs to look at the contract of Harris and realize Hampton is a year away from possible bellcow status. Savvy dynasty managers should look at this as a solid spot and Hampton looks like a top-3 pick in dynasty leagues moving forward.

Dynasty | With the 22nd overall pick, the Los Angeles Chargers selected North Carolina RB Omarion Hampton. Dynasty Analysis: The potential Chargers Najee Harris hype didn't last very long. This is about as bad as it could have been for a resurgent year from Harris, who now has tougher competition than he had the last couple of seasons in Pittsburgh. We should consider the veteran an obvious Dynasty RB3 after it looked like he was sneaking back into RB2 range after his signing with L.A.

Dynasty | The Green Bay Packers select Texas WR Matthew Golden at No. 23 overall. Dynasty Analysis: Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Dontayvion Wicks, Bo Melton, and now, the team's first first-round WR in over 20 years. As usual, the Packers receivers will be difficult to value, but this sort of Draft capital points toward the newest addition taking a good chunk of the target share. Doubs, Wicks, and Watson likely receive the biggest sink in their Dynasty values, with Watson's injury looking even tougher to overcome with Golden in the building. The biggest winner of this addition is QB Jordan Love, who gets an inside-outside guy who can put corners in a blender.

Dynasty | The Green Bay Packers drafted Texas wide receiver Matthew Golden with the 23rd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: And with that, the streak is over as the Packers hadn't taken a wide receiver in round one since 2002. Golden slots in with the likes of Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Dontayvion Wicks in what looks to be a pretty crowded room of good wide receivers. The difference is Golden has a chance to be great and we haven't really seen that consistently from any of the others on the roster. Golden slid a little in the draft but ended up landing in a good spot from a dynasty standpoint. Golden was a top-10 pick in the pre-draft process and he'll likely stay in that range post-draft.

Dynasty | The New York Giants traded back into round one to take Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart with the 25th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Dynasty Analysis: The Giants used the #3 pick on stud pass rusher Abdul Carter but still found a way to get a quarterback in the end. There were rumors Dart could go ahead of Shedeur Sanders and in the end, that came to fruition. Dart will likely sit behind Russell Wilson and/or Jameis Winston at the beginning of the season but any struggles from the position will vault him into the top spot in quick order. The Giants haven't sold the farm for him, but it's clear they believe he can be a franchise quarterback. Dart will likely compete with Sanders to be the second quarterback taken in rookie drafts, but nobody is going to challenge Cam Ward for the top spot in rookie drafts this year.

The Green Bay Packers have chosen Texas Longhorn wide receiver Matthew Golden at No. 23 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. In a wild turn of events, the Pack selected their first first-round wideout since 2002. Golden didn't post gaudy numbers during his collegiate years. Still, he boasts blazing speed set to torment any NFL defense -- famously out-running former Texas teammate Isaiah Bond at the combine with a blistering 4.29 40-yard dash. He'll enter a loaded WR corps in Green Bay, joining incumbent starters Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Christian Watson, and solid rotational piece Dontayvion Wicks. Golden's avenue to playing time appears murky at this time, considering most of his playing time came from the slot, where Reed would typically occupy. However, he possesses game-altering speed that will make it difficult to keep him off the field.

The Atlanta Falcons traded up with the Los Angeles Rams and selected Tennessee edge rusher James Pearce Jr. with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday night. The Falcons took Georgia edge rusher Jalon Walker with their first pick in the first round at No. 15. It's not a surprise that the Falcons loaded up on the defensive line early in this draft given how lacking they were in the pass-rush department in 2024. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound Pearce is explosive off the ball with good speed and power, but he wasn't all that consistent with the Volunteers at the collegiate level. The young pass-rusher was a first-team All SEC selection last year and led Tennessee with 13 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks while playing in all 13 games (nine starts). Pearce's weakness is that he lacks bend, and he'll need to improve his technique as a run defender. But in terms of need, the Falcons hit on both of their first-round picks.

The Los Angeles Chargers have selected former North Carolina Tar Heel running back Omarion Hampton with the No. 22 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Hampton was the consensus second-ranked RB in this class, and he'll enter a favorable situation in Jim Harbaugh's offense. The bruising back has been electric during his time at North Carolina, rushing for 15 touchdowns in each of the prior two seasons while eclipsing 1,500 rushing yards on exactly 5.9 yards per carry in each campaign. He has all the tools necessary to succeed at the next level, though his early playing time may be capped with Los Angeles acquiring fellow RB Najee Harris this offseason. Still, Hampton offers much more juice and explosiveness than Harris in a similar sturdy frame, and both Chargers backs -- Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins -- garnered 100+ carries in 2024. Furthermore, the former Pittsburgh Steeler is set to become a free agent after this season.

The Broncos added to their defensive secondary by selecting cornerback Jahdae Barron out of Texas with the No. 20 pick in the NFL Draft. Barron won the 2025 Thorpe Award Winner for the best defensive back in the country after snagging five interceptions and not allowing a touchdown all season. He added 67 tackles, 11 pass deflections, and one sack, showing off versatility that should make him successful at the NFL level. Barron will join Patrick Surtain II to give the Broncos one of the best defensive backfields in the league. Some Broncos fans may be disappointed that the team didn't go with an offensive playmaker, but they added a player who should be a very valuable contributor right away on defense.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have chosen Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon with the No. 21 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. Harmon spent his first three collegiate seasons at Michigan State, but did his best work in his senior season with the Ducks. The 6-foot-4 defensive lineman racked up 45 tackles (27 solo) with five sacks, 11 tackles-for-loss, four pass break-ups, and two fumbles forced and recovered. He'll slot into a formidable Steelers defensive front alongside veterans Cameron Heyward, T.J. Watt, and Alex Highsmith, who were surprisingly middling in the sack department last season (40). The disruptive Harmon should fit nicely in that group with his upfield style, locking down the middle of Pittsburgh's defensive line while Highsmith and Watt wreak havoc off the edge.
