Nice job Naptown very good trade for you.
Glad everyone is happy for me, haha but I feel like my RB room just got terribly thinner. Jay is right, pretty much about everything he said. It's almost impossible to get backs in this league. Seems they get gobbled up in rookie drafts and then they never sell, you have to overpay. I'm not sure it makes my lineup that much better to be honest. Full disclosure, Its really not a win now move, more of a does it increase the trade value and packages I can put together for what will likely be another overpay for a RB marginally better than Tracy. I dealt Pickens away and needed someone for the starting lineup, so this helps replace him but behind Jeanty and Swift, I got nada.

And while you dismiss the "make me an offer" routine as lame, note that I have been trying to move Higgins and DaVonta Smith for almost two years for a RB with multiple trade offers and couldn't even get a counter, so my only alternative was to make a message board post and hope that it paid off, which it did.

As long as you like Tracy, good for you. One of the trade calculators I use has it 573 - 117 in favor of Higgins. Not that they are the end all be all but pretty obvious you could have got more for Higgins. Good luck this year, Jay!

But if you don't mean it, don't say it. Most teams don't have 3 RB's who are every week starters. So my suggestion is that you initiate the trade offers instead of asking other owners to offer you something you think is enough. This is the 2nd year you've found yourself in this position and have no takers to date. I fear you overvalue your WR's due to their dynasty rankings and undervalue RBs and their relative scarcity in the league, but that's just me observing from afar. Good luck with your search.
***********************Trade Announcement*************************
I Robot and Naptown have agreed to the following trade subject to league approval:
I Robot
Naptown
Since I already own Skattebo, I probably have the NYG RB starter locked up (Singletary being the wild card).

Well, yes but I meant a legitimate #3 RB that I could use as a weekly starter (a #4 RB doesn't really cut it IMO). And if someone is offering that, at least thrown in a draft pick from next year or something else to even it up.

To be fair, you are the one that said make me an offer with your #3 for one of these above WR.I Robot wrote:Stevenson is your #3 RB (ranked RB #41) You think a straight up trade of Higgins or Smith for him is fair?

So...I have available these 2 WRs available for a RB, make me an offer.
Tee Higgins #15 Dynasty WR (per Fantasy Pro Dynasty League PPR rankings)
DeVonta Smith #19 Dynasty WR (per Fantasy Pro Dynasty League PPR rankings)
So...make me an offer to trade your #3 RB for one of the above.
OK I'll bite - I'll trade any RB on my roster except Gibbs and Williams for Higgins. Look forward to your offer . .
