Herbert and Hurts were never offered. As for Mccarthy that was only offered with the 16th straight up for Lamar, and the bigger part of the trade for me was moving Tua.
I'll assume you two are fantasy football geniuses and maybe I'm not and therefore I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say maybe you will be right in the end. That said I can assure you no collusion and since I have close to 60 leagues on this website I think RTS would agree. Not that I need to break it down for you but here is some logic for you
Tua for Young. Tua is one hit away from being career over. Young is trending upward and so I would make this trade straight up all day. I feel this is a huge win for me and makes up for the Lamar part of the trade which as it stands today is a loss
Waddle for Odunze. I would do this all day again. Waddle struggles to stay healthy and Odunze has potential to be elite. In addition, Waddle was God awful without Tua and again that is a real possibility.
Lamar for Love. Clearly, I lose this part of the trade. Lamar is amazing. He is also coming off a career year, going into his 8th year and at some point the hits add up. I look at Lamar like a running back who is pushing 30. He could be a top 5 qb for another decade, but he could also start to break down, and while Love is coming off a bad year, I feel he will trend back up.
Add it all up with a 2nd round pick this year and I feel good about the trade. I offered him to everyone in the league, sent out a few offers with him and no one else offered nearly as much. Maybe take a look at the potential for this year instead of just staring at last year's numbers and saying it's a bad trade. It's a dynasty league so a little fore site might help
Good luck to all!
