It never made sense to me why someone would spend $125 to buy a team and then say they are going to break it all down and rebuild.
Why not just scroll through all the orphan teams and buy one that is already stacked or has very good draft picks and not have to waste your $125 and plan to compete the following year ?
Ive bought Many orphan teams that are stacked and/or have many good picks or extra picks..
Ive also put up for sale stacked teams because I don't like the league overall or I dont like 1-2 owners.

You should see the shameless stuff they were pulling in other leagues, startup drafts included. Brazen and not even subtle because they’ve been getting away with it for so long and gaslighting everyone and clutching their pearls when people called them on the nonsense. They also just disbanded a startup drafts included these guys were in because they were wrecking the initial draft by stacking early picks on 1 team. This was 5 of the top 22 picks and they were renewing for next year during the initial draft and sending 2026 picks back and forth to stack startup picks. Who does that? So slimy and not even clever, same stuff in every league. They then just sell off the worthless team after funneling everything over and loading up a team that can’t be beat. Criminal and ruins everyone else’s fun and chance to compete.

Those 2 teams have been scamming and sending players back and forth in at least 4 leagues I know of and finally got caught by RTS. A bunch of other owners in another league caught the pattern of these lopsided trades in multiple leagues by the same teams (last name Reyes) repeatedly using team names like Clinton Assasin, Maga is Back, Ballers, Building the Dynasty, 17k, and Ashy Larry. Who knows how many leagues they’ve been doing this in but it’s been going on for years and RTS finally did something about it. Thanks Logan! Those guys have been wreaking fraudulant havoc on our leagues for too long.
