Because there's only 2 choices here: (1) you think that's a fair trade offer, which means you don't have the slightest clue on proper player value, or (2) that's just the type of shady person you are. 

I'm guessing it's #2, but either way, neither one is a good thing.

Complaining about cheating is not whining, young man. Yeah, I'm in a lot of tough leagues. The difference, however, is in those leagues, those participants play fairly and don't need to cheat to win. Clearly you do need to. The fact that you described that trade as fair tells me everything I need to know about your fantasy football acumen, or rather the lack thereof.

Why? Because I play and win high stakes leagues on this site. No trading allowed in those leagues, so don't have to worry about immoral and shady characters such as yourself.
