Congratulations to Jeff Ecker and the Goodfellas for winning his 2^nd ever TFFL Super Bowl title!  In what was a record setting Super Bowl finale, the Goodfellas won 199-169 over He Hate Covid in TFFL Super Bowl XXVIII – setting the record for Most Combined Points Scored in a Super Bowl as well as Most Points Scored for a Winner and Runner-Up.  Jeff won his first TFFL Super Bowl back in 2005 when he took down Joe Nax and Gnooter, 155-151.  

Jeff also now holds the record for Most Time In-Between Championship Wins with a 19 year time-span!  Breaking my previous record with He Hate Covid of 18 years (2002-20).  Lastly, HHC moves to 2-2 in Super Bowl finals, which is now the record for Most TFFL Super Bowl Appearances with 4.

On to the 2024 PeeWee Bowl ™, where Maye Day has saved his spot in the TFFL for the 2025 season!  Super huge congrats on clutching up in weeks 16 & 17 to take it down.  On a sadder note, we will say goodbye for now to two of our longest tenured owners in the league: Ben Haumiller and Sean Hales of Must be the Money…and 2022 TFFL Super Bowl Champion Ben Barrett & Always Be Closing (ABC).  Must be the Money had been in the TFFL since the 2007 season – 18 consecutive years.  Ben Barrett and ABC had been in the TFFL since 2011 – 14 straight years.  Must be the Money had their TFFL franchise highlight back in 2021 when they appeared in TFFL Super Bowl XXV (losing to Ralph the Wonder Llama 175-140).  ABC is the 2022 TFFL Champion as well as a two-time Runner-up (losing to Amish Ewoks in TFFL Super Bowl XXVII and XXII).  Both these franchises are true legends of the TFFL and we wish them all the luck in the JTFFL in 2025 and I am sure we will see them back sooner rather than later.  Also leaving us after just the one season, is Cameron Hayes & Chudley Cannons – Good luck next year in the JTFFL guys!!

That’s it.  If you are still reading, I appreciate you guys a lot.  This league is my favorite league and really all of you are part of my fantasy family for life.  This season was an all-timer, at least for me.  Hoping we get back to the old days of in-person drafts and pickup meetings – this is on my new year’s resolution list for 2025.

Happy New Year everyone, hope 2025 is a legendary one for all of us.  See you all in eight months when our favorite season starts up once again…. for the 29^th TFFL season.  Enjoy the offseason.
