I checked the settings regarding the waiver wire and I'm able to extend it through the playoffs, however we need to have a vote if any changes are gonna be made during the season. A concern I have is that the settings for the weekly waiver wire is very limited as shown below. Another concern I have is what happens to the two teams that have a first round round bye when the waiver wire runs the second and third week of the playoffs as these teams will have one less game played? Will these teams be bumped up to the top of the waiver wire order because they have less games played or to the bottom of the order? It's a bitch to fix if the waiver wire runs incorrectly. The waiver wire determines the order based on worst to first as usual and will not match the team rankings that we actually use for the playoff seeding (Power Point Teams). A plus is that I can lock out the teams that have been eliminated from the playoffs. Also, if we extended the waiver wire throughout the playoffs I would like to lock the dropped players from being picked up so there's no collusion. Let me know what you guys think based on this info so we can have a vote before the waiver wire runs tomorrow.
I am proposing that we have a waiver wire after the 14th game as we have a waiver after every other game, so why not be consistent. Especially the impact of having the 14th game as a bye week is unknown but I can’t find a single positive thing coming from it. All that is needed is to voice your opinion.
