Free-agent quarterback Daniel Jones is planning to sign with the Indianapolis Colts on a one-year, $14 million deal, according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero. The longtime New York Giant spent the last half of the 2024 season with the Minnesota Vikings, but Jones is ultimately choosing to go to Indianapolis where he will likely have a chance to compete with Anthony Richardson for the QB1 job. Since being selected with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, Jones has totaled 14,582 passing yards, 70 passing touchdowns, 47 interceptions, 2,179 rushing yards, and 15 rushing touchdowns. His supporting cast in New York was seemingly always among the worst in the NFL, and a fresh start could revive the Duke product's career.

The Philadelphia Eagles are trading veteran defensive back C. J. Gardner-Johnson and a sixth-round pick for Houston Texans offensive guard Kenyon Green and a fifth-round pick, according to NFL insider Ari Meirov. Houston reached a deal to trade Pro Bowl left tackle Laremy Tunsil to the Washington Commanders on Monday and is now sending a second starting offensive lineman out of town. Philadelphia is not expected to reach a deal with last year's starting right guard, Mekhi Becton, so Green could fill that role in 2025. Meanwhile, Gardner-Johnson, who played in 16 games for the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles last season, will join a strong Houston secondary led by Derek Stingley Jr.

Former Washington Commanders defensive tackle Jonathan Allen has agreed to a three-year, $60 million contract with the Minnesota Vikings, according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero. The organization recently released the 2017 first-round pick after the team failed to find a trade partner. Allen is a two-time Pro Bowler and has racked up 401 total tackles (241 solo), 42 sacks, and 41 run stuffs in 109 career games. The 30-year-old was limited to just eight games last season due to a torn pectoral. His production has slipped in recent seasons, but the Vikings clearly believe he has plenty of gas left in the tank. Allen is one of many significant free-agent adds the Vikings have made through the first two days of the legal tampering period.

The New York Giants are signing former Miami Dolphins safety Jevon Holland to a three-year, $45.3 million deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The 2021 second-round pick out of Oregon has played his entire four-year NFL career with Miami and has collected 301 tackles (219 solo), five interceptions, 25 pass deflections, five sacks, and five forced fumbles in 60 career games. His new deal makes him one of the top-10 highest-paid safeties in the league and puts him just one spot behind Atlanta's Jessie Bates III in average salary.

Dynasty | The Giants have re-signed wide receiver Darius Slayton. Dynasty Analysis: Slayton gets three years and $36 million, which is a pretty healthy deal for a player who has been so up and down throughout his career. Still, Slayton is a very effective WR2 across form Malik Nabers and should be good enough to keep the offense relevant for whomever decides they want to be the next quarterback there. The six-year veteran has posted 259 catches for 3,897 yards and 21 total touchdowns over his time with the G-Men. He's more of a roster clogger than anything else in dynasty leagues, though you could do worse with your last spot or two.

Dynasty | The Dallas Cowboys have signed running back Javonte Williams. Dynasty Analysis: Williams gets a one-year deal worth $3 million. In other words, he got backup money. This is significant as Dallas is still looking for a franchise running back. They could bring back Rico Dowdle, sign someone like Najee Harris, or look at options in the NFL Draft like Ashton Jeanty or Omarion Hampton. Regardless, this is hardly the last move they make to shore up the position and the money spent here makes Williams look like a player who is destined to lose a lot of value this off-season.

Dynasty | The Bills have signed wide receiver Josh Palmer to a three-year, $46 million contract. Dynasty Analysis: This one is a little under the radar but it could be significant. The Bills were able to make it through the season with Khalil Shakir, Amari Cooper, Curtis Samuel, Mack Hollins and Keon Coleman. However, that crew will not be coming back as formulated. Depending on what this depth chart looks like, Palmer could play a decent role next season. He'll need to prove he can stay healthy, but you could do worse as a late round flier at the moment.

Dynasty | The Rams have informed Cooper Kupp he will be released should they fail to find a trade partner. Dynasty Analysis: Well, that will make it official. Kupp is 31 years old and has dealt with some injuries over the past few years. However, this is also a player with 634 career catches for 7,776 yards and 57 touchdowns. While his magical 145/1,947/16 season was three years ago, it's hard to look at Kupp and think he's totally washed up. We'll see soon enough, but the writing was on the wall when the Rams signed Davante Adams yesterday. Kupp should find a home in the coming days and we'll re-evaluate his dynasty value when that happens.

The Carolina Panthers signed former Las Vegas Raiders safety Tre'von Moehrig to a three-year, $51 million deal on Monday, according to FOX Sports' Jordan Schultz. Moehrig will head to the NFC South for the next three years after coming off a career year with the Raiders in 2024 in which he had a career-best 104 tackles (64 solo), one sack, five tackles for loss, two interceptions, 10 pass breakups and two fumble recoveries in 17 starts. The 25-year-old defensive back's new deal ensures he'll be a starter in 2025 in his first year in Carolina after the Panthers made former first-round cornerback Jaycee Horn the highest-paid defensive back in the league on Monday. Moehrig was taken in the second round by Vegas in 2021 out of TCU, and he had 297 tackles (202) solo, three sacks, eight tackles for loss, five QB hits, six picks, 29 pass breakups and two fumble recoveries in his first four seasons.

The Cleveland Browns notified defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson that he will be released at the start of the new league year on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Tomlinson will be designated as a post-June 1 cut and can officially sign with a new team on Wednesday. The 31-year-old veteran interior defensive lineman started 16 games for the Browns in each of the last two seasons and had three sacks in both years as well. He had 26 tackles (13 solo), six tackles for loss and a career-high 18 QB hits in 2024. Regardless of where Tomlinson lands, he can be avoided in IDP fantasy leagues, having never recorded more than 3.5 sacks in a single season in his eight years in the league. Tomlinson was originally a second-round pick (55th overall) in 2017 by the New York Giants out of Alabama. He spent the first four years of his career before joining the Minnesota Vikings in 2021 and 2022.

Dynasty | The Chargers have signed former Steelers running back Najee Harris. Dynasty Analysis: The former first round pick had an up and down tenure with Pittsburgh, posting 4,312 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns over 68 starts in four seasons. While he's been extremely durable (he's yet to miss a single game in his career due to injury), he's also averaged less than four yards per carry and hasn't proven to be dynamic in the pass catching department either. He signs with the Chargers on a one-year "prove it" deal, so he'll certainly be motivated. Harris projects as the starter in Los Angeles and should remain a pretty solid RB2 moving forward.

The San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Chargers have been in talks with Cleveland Browns impending free-agent quarterback Jameis Winston for potential backup roles, a league source told Josina Anderson. Another team to watch could be the New York Giants, depending on how their talks with other signal-callers go. The 31-year-old former first overall pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2015 out of Florida State played in 12 games (seven starts) for the Browns after Deshaun Watson went down with a torn Achilles last year. He initially gave the Browns offense a spark but ended up committing 14 turnovers in 12 games and was eventually benched in a lost season. Even with Watson unlikely to play in 2025, Winston isn't expected to return to Cleveland. The turnover-prone gunslinger would back up Justin Herbert in L.A. and Brock Purdy in San Francisco.

The San Francisco 49ers and Miami Dolphins have each made offers to free-agent edge rusher Joey Bosa in the same relative price range, according to The Athletic's Michael Silver. The former Los Angeles Chargers pass-rusher would receive less than $10 million in 2025 in either scenario. Bosa, the former third overall pick by the Chargers in 2016 out of Ohio State, was a salary cap casualty for the Bolts this offseason because of the fact that he just couldn't stay on the field due to injuries. The deal was negotiated by agent Drew Rosenhaus. Roberts will help replace standout linebacker Robert Spillane in 2025. The 30-year-old veteran spent the last two seasons in Pittsburgh. The Denver Broncos are expected to sign San Francisco 49ers standout linebacker Dre Greenlaw to a three-year deal worth $35 million, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Greenlaw will essentially help make up for the loss of linebacker Cody Barton, who signed a three-year deal to join the Tennessee Titans. The 27-year-old Greenlaw had 100-plus combined tackles for the Niners in 2022 and 2023 before tearing his Achilles in the Super Bowl loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in February of last year. He ended up playing in only two games for the Niners in 2024 as a result and had nine tackles (three solo). The former fifth-round selection (148th overall) in the 2019 NFL draft out of Arkansas only has 3.5 sacks in his six NFL seasons, but if he can return to his pre-injury form in Denver, an already strong Broncos defense will get even more formidable in 2025 and beyond.

For his efforts a season ago, Murphy becomes the third-highest-paid cornerback in the league, behind only Jalen Ramsey and Patrick Surtain. Murphy will be looking to remain a ball-hawking defensive back for the Vikings under defensive coordinator Brian Flores in 2025.

Burks has only 17 starts in his seven NFL seasons, but he is in line to step into an expanded role for the first time in his career in Cincinnati in 2025.
