Week 4 Power Rankings: Don't forget Detroit

Tue Sep 23 11:58am ET
Field Level Media

While the NFL rests on a traditional off-day Tuesday, Field Level Media NFL writers reviewed their notes to rank all 32 teams entering Week 4.

We're pushing two types of teams to the top of the football-playing pantheon this week: good teams that find a way to win even when they shouldn't (hello, Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and teams capable of getting a defensive stop with the game on the line (Los Angeles Chargers, come on down).

The Packers didn't make the type of statement we expected in Cleveland, and Micah Parsons summed it up perfectly as Green Bay tries to rally before a headlining gig in Dallas this week.

We're still buying the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens even if their defenses make us doubt which direction they're headed after December.

The race is just as intense at the rear of the line and at least five teams appear to have what it takes to land the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 draft.

32. New York Giants (0-3)

Last Week: L, 22-9 vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Up Next: vs. Los Angeles Chargers (3-0), 1 p.m. ET

It's easy to see the draw of throwing Jaxson Dart into the starting lineup. There's also wisdom in the warning label from WR Darius Slayton about the developmental damage he witnessed when the Giants rushed Daniel Jones into the lineup Week 3 of his rookie season. Slayton's advice is to let Dart follow the Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson plan of learning the game from the sideline for a year.

31. New Orleans Saints (0-3)

Last Week: L, 44-13 at Seattle Seahawks

Up Next: at Buffalo Bills (3-0), 1 p.m. ET

Spencer Rattler is 0-9 as a starter and the Saints are not one or two pieces away. Early trade calls about Alvin Kamara -- from the Chargers, Arizona Cardinals, Washington Commanders and others -- should be fruitful as New Orleans transitions toward a full reset under Kellen Moore.

30. Tennessee Titans (0-3)

Last Week: L, 41-20 vs. Indianapolis Colts

Up Next: at Houston Texans (0-3), 1 p.m. ET

Titans scored one of their three wins last season at Houston, their fourth road win over the Texans in the past five meetings.

29. Miami Dolphins (0-3)

Last Week: L, 31-21 at Buffalo Bills

Up Next: vs. New York Jets (0-3), 7:15 p.m. ET (Monday)

Showed life at Buffalo in primetime last week until Tua Tagovailoa threw a baffling INT. Back in a spotlight slot Monday, is Miami in win-or-else territory with head coach Mike McDaniel?

28. New York Jets (0-3)

Last Week: L, 29-27 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Up Next: at Miami Dolphins (0-3), 7:15 p.m. ET (Monday)

In an epic week for special teams, the Jets were the only team to block a FG and return it for a score to lose. Aaron Glenn has inspired a competitive environment. That spark won't be easy to maintain as losses mount.

27. Carolina Panthers (1-2)

Last Week: W, 30-0 vs. Atlanta Falcons

Up Next: at New England Patriots (1-2), 1 p.m. ET

Life is easier for any quarterback with an unabashed commitment to running the ball. The Panthers placed two starting offensive linemen on IR last week, then ripped the heart of the Falcons' defense by sticking with the run. Carolina put on a team tackling clinic to take away Bijan Robinson.

26. Las Vegas Raiders (1-2)

Last Week: L 41-24 at Washington Commanders

Up Next: vs. Chicago Bears (1-2), 4:05 p.m. ET

Chip Kelly's offensive plan was to feature rookie RB Ashton Jeanty and create an identity around the running game. Offensive line issues are limiting Jeanty's chances, which might send the Raiders back to the drawing board.

25. New England Patriots (1-2)

Last Week: L, 21-14 vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Up Next: vs. Carolina Panthers (1-2), 1 p.m. ET

Two home losses but at least the Patriots aren't in the AFC East cellar with the winless Jets and Dolphins. New England nosedives in the rankings if it can't get a victory at home against Carolina.

24. Cleveland Browns (1-2)

Last Week: W, 13-10 vs. Green Bay Packers

Up Next: at Detroit Lions (2-1), 1 p.m. ET

All aboard? Not quite. A masterful defensive plan minimized every playmaker on the Green Bay offense and Cleveland still needed a last-second FG to steal the win.

23. Dallas Cowboys (1-1)

Last Week: L, 31-14 at Chicago Bears

Up Next: vs. Green Bay Packers, 8:20 p.m. ET (Sunday)

At this pace, the Cowboys might score 400-plus points this season and give up 500. Don't look now but Jordan Love and Matt LaFleur own Dallas. They're bringing Micah Parsons, too.

22. Houston Texans (0-3)

Last Week: L, 17-10 at Jacksonville Jaguars

Up Next: vs. Tennessee Titans (0-3), 1 p.m. ET

Sure they miss RB Joe Mixon but the bigger concern is how uncomfortable C.J. Stroud looks in the new scheme. At this point last season, we were discussing since-fired coordinator Bobby Slowik as a head-coaching candidate.

21. Atlanta Falcons (1-2)

Last Week: L, 30-0 at Carolina Panthers

Up Next: vs. Washington Commanders (1-2), 1 p.m. ET

Maybe Michael Penix Jr. was "off" last week at Carolina as Raheem Morris stated. Or maybe this is who he is as an NFL QB. A shutout at Carolina is beyond confounding ineptitude.

20. Cincinnati Bengals (2-1)

Last Week: L, 48-10 at Minnesota Vikings

Up Next: at Denver Broncos (1-2), 8:15 p.m. ET (Monday)

Every team clamoring for a backup QB to get more time should review the past six quarters of Cincinnati's offense transitioning from Joe Burrow to Jake Browning. Life won't get any easier. Denver's pass rush, secondary present major problems for the Bengals and their absent running game.

19. Chicago Bears (1-2)

Last Week: W, 31-14 vs. Dallas Cowboys

Up Next: at Las Vegas Raiders (1-2), 4:05 p.m. ET

Hold on with two hands, Bears fans. This is going to be a bumpy ride. Dallas can do a lot for a team's confidence -- see New York Giants. A suspect running game plus injury issues in the secondary imply a rollercoaster of results.

18. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1)

Last Week: W, 21-14 at New England Patriots

Up Next: vs. Minnesota Vikings (2-1) in Dublin, 9:30 a.m. ET (Sunday)

Jaylen Warren is underappreciated outside of Pittsburgh. He's been a huge benefit to Aaron Rodgers as both feel their way around a work-in-progress offense.

17. Arizona Cardinals (2-1)

Last Week: L, 16-15 at San Francisco 49ers

Up Next: vs. Seattle Seahawks (2-1), 8:15 p.m. ET (Thursday)

No one area of the team is dominant and subtracting James Conner is a step back for Arizona's offense.

16. Minnesota Vikings (2-1)

Last Week: W, 48-10 vs. Cincinnati Bengals

Up Next: vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1) in Dublin, 9:30 a.m. ET (Sunday)

Credit Kevin O'Connell for having Carson Wentz ready to play within weeks of working together. Last week's win belongs to defensive coordinator Brian Flores.

15. Washington Commanders (2-1)

Last Week: W, 41-24 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Up Next: at Atlanta Falcons (1-2), 1 p.m. ET

Long-term outlook for Jayden Daniels reflects the long-term ceiling of the Commanders. Dan Quinn's return to Atlanta sets up as entertaining undercard game in Week 4.

14. Denver Broncos (1-2)

Last Week: L, 23-20 at Los Angeles Chargers

Up Next: vs. Cincinnati Bengals (2-1), 8:15 p.m. ET (Monday)

Had a puncher's chance to spoil home opener for Chargers, left with another one-possession loss. Denver does look to be legit and the best of the three 1-2 teams in the AFC West behind L.A.

13. Los Angeles Rams (2-1)

Last Week: L, 33-26 at Philadelphia Eagles

Up Next: vs. Indianapolis Colts (3-0), 4:05 p.m. ET

Went scoreless in the fourth quarter and gave up 26 second-half points to spoil an upset bid at Philly. Looking like a team that can run with anyone in the league.

12. Kansas City Chiefs (1-2)

Last Week: W, 22-9 vs. New York Giants

Up Next: vs. Baltimore Ravens (1-2), 4:25 p.m. ET

Flickering hope for a full revival of Patrick Mahomes and the passing game emerged in the second half at New York. It's a good time for the Chiefs to see the flame-fanning Ravens' defense, which was torched by the Bills (41 points in Week 1) and Lions.

11. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1)

Last Week: W, 17-10 vs. Houston Texans

Up Next: at San Francisco 49ers (3-0), 4:05 p.m. ET

One defensive stop at Cincinnati away from a 3-0 record, the Jaguars are forming a physical and fiery persona in for a test at San Francisco even without Nick Bosa.

10. Seattle Seahawks (2-1)

Last Week: W, 44-13 vs. New Orleans Saints

Up Next: at Arizona Cardinals (2-1), 8:15 p.m. ET (Thursday)

This is why the Seahawks wanted Mike Macdonald last year. Defense is turning a corner. Seattle leads league with at plus-6 net touchdown differential.

9. San Francisco 49ers (3-0)

Last Week: W, 16-15 vs. Arizona Cardinals

Up Next: vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1), 4:05 p.m. ET

Mission becomes more difficult without Nick Bosa (torn ACL). Injury toll can't be ignored but San Francisco sits atop NFC West.

8. Indianapolis Colts (3-0)

Last Week: W, 41-20 at Tennessee Titans

Up Next: at Los Angeles Rams (2-1), 4:05 p.m. ET

We're on board with the Shoe based on offensive balance and the resurrection of Daniel Jones, but Colts MVP candidate might be RB Jonathan Taylor. He's No. 1 in the league in yards from scrimmage (112.7 per game) and rushing (338 yards). Indy leads the league in point differential (+47)

7. Baltimore Ravens (1-2)

Last Week: L, 38-30 vs. Detroit Lions

Up Next: at Kansas City Chiefs (1-2), 4:25 p.m. ET

For the first time ever, a quarterback lost a game with a passer rating over 140 this season. And Lamar Jackson suddenly has done it twice (at Buffalo, vs. Detroit). Defense has been gutted by Super Bowl contenders.

6. Green Bay Packers (2-1)

Last Week: L, 13-10 at Cleveland Browns

Up Next: at Dallas Cowboys (1-2), 8:20 p.m. ET (Sunday)

We might not grasp how good the Browns can be defensively, but the Packers are a step below our top-tier Super Bowl contenders until Jordan Love delivers against a top-tier defense.

5. Los Angeles Chargers (3-0)

Last Week: W, 23-20 vs. Denver Broncos

Up Next: at New York Giants (0-3), 1 p.m. ET

Justin Herbert has excelled with Jim Harbaugh doing the teaching. We're ready to begin discussing defensive coordinator Mike Minter as a head coach. Even without Khalil Mack, the Chargers limited Broncos to two third-down conversions last week. However, 25 defensive penalties in three games is a potential landmine.

4. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-0)

Last Week: W, 29-27 vs. New York Jets

Up Next: vs. Philadelphia Eagles (3-0), 1 p.m. ET

Baker Mayfield's heroics kept Bucs perfect last week. If this team gets healthy, is Tampa the team to beat in the NFC? Potential statement game up next.

3. Detroit Lions (2-1)

Last Week: W, 38-30 at Baltimore Ravens

Up Next: vs. Cleveland Browns (1-2), 1 p.m. ET

Throwing up 90 points in two games places a Week 1 no-show at Green Bay in the rearview mirror. If the Lions are healthy on the offensive and defensive line, they have an edge in almost every matchup.

2. Buffalo Bills (3-0)

Last Week: W, 31-21 vs. Miami Dolphins

Up Next: vs. New Orleans Saints (0-3)

Establishing a dynamic running game temporarily can boost a Buffalo defense still finding its way.

1. Philadelphia Eagles (3-0)

Last Week: W, 33-27 vs. Los Angeles Rams

Up Next: at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-0), 1 p.m. ET

Ripped a win from the jaws of defeat with a FG block and score. While many of its biggest threats are finding ways to lose, the Eagles stand out for winning at less than their best.

Five Fantasy Takeaways: Week 3

Player Notes
Mike Evans Sep 23 11:00am CT
Mike Evans

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) is expected to miss multiple weeks with a hamstring injury, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Pelissero notes that this injury is not as bad as the hamstring injury Evans suffered in 2024, which caused him to miss three games. A two-week absence would put Evans on track to return in Week 6 against the San Francisco 49ers. The 32-year-old had recorded 14 catches on 27 targets for 140 yards and a touchdown before getting injured in Week 3. In Evans' absence, Buccaneers rookie wide receiver Emeka Egbuka could be in line for a massive target share and is a must-start fantasy wide receiver while Evans is sidelined. The team could also be getting veteran wideout Chris Godwin (ankle) back from injury in Week 4 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Godwin may get eased back into the lineup, but his fantasy outlook is no doubt improved by Evans' injury.

Zay Jones Sep 23 10:50am CT
Zay Jones

Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said that wide receiver Zay Jones (concussion) is in concussion protocol, per Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic. Jones has recorded three catches on four targets for 29 yards so far this season. Arizona has a short week this week as they prepare to play the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday night, which could make it unlikely that Jones will be able to suit up. If he is indeed sidelined, it could mean a slight uptick in targets and playing time for Cardinals wide receivers Marvin Harrison Jr., Michael Wilson, and Simi Fehoko. Jones should be off fantasy radars regardless of his availability in Week 4.

From RotoBaller

Mac Jones Sep 23 10:40am CT
Mac Jones

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Mac Jones (knee) re-aggravated an existing PCL sprain in his knee during the team's Week 3 win and is considered day-to-day with the injury, according to ESPN's Nick Wagoner. Jones has played well in relief of 49ers QB1 Brock Purdy (shoulder), throwing for 563 yards and four touchdowns across the team's last two games. Purdy was close to returning for Week 3, so it seems as though he should be on track to suit up for the team's Week 4 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Purdy's return would obviously nullify the impact of Jones' health status, but Jones' practice availability is still worth monitoring until Purdy is confirmed as good to go for Week 4.

From RotoBaller

Jaxson Dart Sep 23 10:30am CT
Jaxson Dart

"It seems inevitable" that the Giants will make the switch from veteran Russell Wilson to rookie Jaxson Dart at quarterback, according to Dan Duggan of The Athletic. Giants head coach Brian Daboll avoided committing to Wilson as the starter after the team's 22-9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night. Wilson and the Giants' offense had a massive game in Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, but have otherwise been held to 15 points and one touchdown in their other two games. The 22-year-old Dart has seen some game action operating the read option but has yet to throw an NFL pass. He should be rostered in all two-quarterback leagues and could be a low-end QB2 option if he gets the start in Week 4, although he would have a tough matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.

From RotoBaller

Sam LaPorta Sep 23 10:20am CT
Sam LaPorta

Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta was held in check by the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night. LaPorta hauled in all four of his targets for 33 yards during Detroit's 38-30 Week 3 win. The third-year tight end now has 13 catches for 138 yards on the season and has yet to find the end zone. LaPorta ranks third on the team in targets behind wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown and running back Jahmyr Gibbs. Still, he hasn't been able to translate the target volume into consistent, high-end fantasy production so far in 2025. LaPorta remains a must-start tight end heading into Week 4, but he needs to start earning end zone targets to be a fantasy weapon at the tight end position.

From RotoBaller

Trey Benson Sep 23 10:20am CT
Trey Benson

Arizona Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon said he is fully confident in second-year running back Trey Benson's ability to take on a bigger workload with veteran back James Conner (ankle) sidelined for the remainder of 2025. Benson appears to be in line to handle the vast majority of backfield touches in Arizona, at least in the immediate future. The 23-year-old has recorded 170 yards from scrimmage on 29 touches through his first three games of 2025. In any fantasy league where Benson is not already rostered, he should be the number one priority add on the waiver wire heading into a Week 4 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.

From RotoBaller

David Montgomery Sep 23 10:13am CT
David Montgomery

Dynasty | Lions running back David Montgomery had 151 rushing yards and two touchdowns in a win against the Ravens. Dynasty Analysis: Monty just does this. While playing second fiddle to Jahmyr Gibbs (and he still will), Montgomery still found a way to be productive by breaking off two long runs and capping off two different drives. His last score was a backbreaker for the Ravens and turned a good fantasy day into a great one. There will be some clunkers this year, but you could certainly do worse for a RB2.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Derrick Henry Sep 23 10:13am CT
Derrick Henry

Dynasty | Ravens running back Derrick Henry had 50 rushing yards and a touchdown in a loss to Detroit. Dynasty Analysis: He also lost a critical fumble late in the game for the second time in three weeks. The 1-2 Ravens can't blame Henry for losing as they've given up 79 points in their two losses but it certainly isn't helping. The King is in no danger of losing touches but a few solid weeks will be needed for dynasty managers to believe this is in the past.

From Dynasty League Fantasy

Michael Penix Jr. Sep 23 9:10am CT
Michael Penix Jr.

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. had his worst game since taking over as the team's starting quarterback on Sunday against the Panthers. He completed only 18 of 36 pass attempts for 172 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions. On Monday, in his press conference, head coach Raheem Morris said, "He was off... I don't want to take away the fact that he did not play well." Morris added that Penix "Got a little down on himself, got a little upset." Penix is a first-year starter, so some inconsistency is to be expected, but hopefully, he can avoid such a drastic down game again this season. He and the 1-2 Falcons are home this week against the Commanders before heading into a Week 5 bye week. For now, Penix will remain the starter, although more games like Sunday's could result in calls for Kirk Cousins to take back over.

From RotoBaller

CeeDee Lamb Sep 23 9:00am CT
CeeDee Lamb

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (ankle) suffered a high ankle sprain on Sunday against the Bears, but on Tuesday, team owner Jerry Jones said his injury isn't considered "on the extreme end." However, Lamb still does not have an exact timeline. The team could still opt to place Lamb on IR, but a report on Monday from Ian Rapoport said that Lamb is expected to miss two games but not land on IR. That would line up with Jones' statements on Tuesday, and could put Lamb on track to return in Week 6 against the Panthers or possibly Week 7 against the rival Commanders in a home divisional matchup. While Lamb is out, George Pickens and Jake Ferguson will need to step up and take more targets, along with potentially larger roles for KaVontae Turpin and Jalen Tolbert as well.

From RotoBaller

Tory Horton Sep 23 8:55am CT
Tory Horton

Dynasty | Seahawks rookie wide receiver Tory Horton had three catches for 32 yards and a touchdown while adding a 95-yard punt return for another score in a win against New Orleans. Dynasty Analysis: Horton has been earning more and more playing time and this certainly won't put an end to that. He was second on the team in targets in this one and seems to be pushing Cooper Kupp for the WR2 role at this point. Horton still has a ways to go and it's fair to wonder if Sam Darnold can make not one but two receivers relevant but that sure did happen on Sunday. Horton looks like a serious rookie draft steal at this point.

Jameson Williams Sep 23 8:50am CT
Jameson Williams

Detroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams finished Monday Night's win over the Ravens with only two catches on three targets for 43 yards. He finished second on the team in receiving yards, behind only Amon-Ra St. Brown, and St. Brown was also the only wide receiver who got more targets than Williams. His decreased production was mostly a result of the game script, since the Lions were able to run all over the Ravens, with David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs combining for 218 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns. Williams is still a big-play threat and will look to bounce back with a better game next week at home when the Lions take on the Browns.

From RotoBaller

Jared Goff Sep 23 8:50am CT
Jared Goff

Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff led his team to a huge road win in Baltimore on Monday Night and re-established his team as one of the teams to beat in the NFC. However, his total stats were not that spectacular since he threw for just 202 passing yards and one touchdown, while also adding six rushing yards on four carries. Goff wasn't asked to do as much heavy lifting since the "Sonic and Knuckles" tandem of David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs was absolutely dominant on the ground, totaling 218 rushing yards on 34 carries and scoring four rushing touchdowns. Goff and the Lions will look to claim a third straight win when they come home for a Week 4 matchup against the Browns. Goff will remain a high-upside play, but he is volatile because the rest of his team is so strong that he can have a quiet day while his team still dominates.

From RotoBaller

Amon-Ra St. Brown Sep 23 8:40am CT
Amon-Ra St. Brown

Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown hauled in seven of his eight targets for a team-leading 77 receiving yards and his fourth touchdown of the season. The Lions' ground game was firing on all cylinders with both David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs posting huge games, but the offense still found ways to get St. Brown involved, including his third-quarter touchdown, which came on an 18-yard strike from Jared Goff. St. Brown's score tied the game at 21-21, and the Lions added 17 points in the fourth quarter to win, 38-31. St. Brown will continue to be an elite play as the centerpiece of his team's passing attack as they host the Browns in Week 4. Cleveland has been good against opposing receivers despite their 0-3 record, but St. Brown is still a strong option since he's so involved.

From RotoBaller

Zay Flowers Sep 23 8:30am CT
Zay Flowers

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers was limited to only two catches for 13 yards on three targets on Monday Night Football, as his team lost 38-31 to slip to 1-2 on the season. Flowers was locked down by Lions cornerback D.J. Reed, and he didn't even have a catch until the second half. Flowers was coming off a hot start to the season with seven catches for 143 yards and a touchdown in Week 1 and seven catches for 75 yards and a touchdown in Week 2. In Week 3, though, he was much less involved as the targets went mostly to Rashod Bateman (7) and Mark Andrews (6) instead of the dynamic third-year receiver from Boston College. The Ravens will need to find a way for him to be more involved next week as they head on the road to take on the Chiefs in a huge AFC showdown.

From RotoBaller

Derrick Henry Sep 23 8:20am CT
Derrick Henry

Baltimore Ravens running back Derrick Henry racked up 50 yards on his 12 carries and scored a 28-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. He added a seven-yard catch on his only target, but he also had another costly fumble late in the game, when his team trailed 28-24 and was looking to drive for a potential score to take the lead. Instead, the Lions kicked a field goal after the fumble and went on to win 38-31. The Ravens dropped to 1-2 with the loss, and both their losses came in close games after late Henry fumbles. He and his team will look to bounce back next week, but they're in a tough matchup on the road against the Chiefs. While he has three touchdowns and 242 rushing yards through three games, his late-game fumbles are definitely becoming an issue and a storyline.

From RotoBaller

Tyrone Tracy Jr. Sep 23 7:10am CT
Tyrone Tracy Jr.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, New York Giants running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. (shoulder) is expected to miss 2-4 weeks due to a dislocated shoulder. The second-year running back suffered this injury during their Week 3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday evening. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status, but it appears Tracy will avoid a stint on the injured reserve. During the first three games of the season, Tracy took 22 carries for 68 yards and caught eight of his 13 targets for 54 yards. While he remains idle, managers should expect rookie Cam Skattebo to take the lead in the backfield. Since Week 2, Skattebo has already seen his workload increase, and with Tracy sidelined, he should see the majority of the opportunities.

From RotoBaller

Brian Robinson Jr. Sep 23 2:30am CT
Brian Robinson Jr.

San Francisco 49ers running back Brian Robinson Jr. handled just two carries for 22 yards in the team's Week 3 win over the Arizona Cardinals. Robinson played the change-of-pace role in Weeks 1 and 2, garnering snap shares of 25% and 22% and seeing nine and six rushes, respectively. On Sunday, he was all but forgotten, seeing the field for just five of the team's 65 offensive snaps. He didn't see a single target. His first carry of the day didn't come until the third quarter, and the second, a 19-yard pickup representing the bulk of his production, came halfway through the fourth quarter. Robinson's fantasy value at this point is solely as a handcuff for superstar Christian McCaffrey, who, with a league-leading 77 touches through three games, looks as healthy as ever.

From RotoBaller

Kendrick Bourne Sep 23 2:20am CT
Kendrick Bourne

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Kendrick Bourne drew the start in Week 3 after Jauan Jennings (ankle/shoulder) was ruled out Sunday morning. Bourne saw six targets and finished with four receptions for 38 yards in the 16-15 win over the Arizona Cardinals. In his starting role, Bourne saw his snap share shoot up to 73% from last week's 49%, and his target share was a modest 16% (double that of Week 2). However, the uptick in production shouldn't be expected to last. Jennings is being considered day-to-day per ESPN's Nick Wagoner, and Demarcus Robinson has returned to the team after serving a three-week suspension. Either receiver's presence in Week 4 would cut into Bourne's workload, and if both were active, would negate Bourne's fantasy value almost entirely.

From RotoBaller

Kyle Juszczyk Sep 23 2:10am CT
Kyle Juszczyk

San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk caught a one-yard touchdown pass in Sunday's 16-15 win over the Arizona Cardinals. The score, four minutes into the fourth quarter, was the first trip to the end zone by either side and broke what was then a 6-6 tie. Even with the 49ers' injury woes in the first three weeks of the season, Juszczyk's fantasy appeal is nil. He is turned to so infrequently that his fluke touchdowns (the last time he had more than two in a season was 2020) simply aren't worth chasing. Through the first three games of 2025, Juszczyk has four receptions for 38 yards and a touchdown.
