Player Notes
Cam Skattebo Oct 26 1:20pm CT
Cam Skattebo

New York Giants rookie running back Cam Skattebo (ankle) suffered a serious-looking ankle injury during his team's Week 8 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles. Skattebo had an air cast placed on his leg and was carted off the field. Assuming the rookie's day is done, he will finish Week 8 with 30 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown on four total touches. With Skattebo likely out for the remainder of Week 8 and possibly much longer, the Giants will turn to the combination of Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Devin Singletary in the backfield. Tracy Jr. recorded 1,123 yards from scrimmage and six touchdowns across 17 games in 2024, so he's capable of producing in a lead-back role.

Anthony Richardson Oct 26 11:50am CT
Anthony Richardson

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson Sr. (eye) underwent surgery on Monday to repair his orbital fracture, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport. He has been sidelined since Week 6 following a freak accident with a piece of workout equipment. The Colts are leaving the door open for Richardson to return later this season, but his fantasy stock is at an all-time low. Even if he does play again this year, Richardson would merely operate as the backup quarterback behind Daniel Jones, who has revived his career during his first year in Indianapolis.

Deommodore Lenoir Oct 26 11:20am CT
Deommodore Lenoir

San Francisco 49ers linebacker Luke Gifford (hamstring) and defensive back Deommodore Lenoir (quadriceps) are both active for Sunday's tilt against the Houston Texans. Gifford practiced in a limited capacity on Friday and progressed enough to be cleared for action. Lenoir opened the week as a non-participating but was able to log a limited session on Friday to suit up. Gifford has had a prominent role on special teams, totaling 18 tackles with five of them being solo. Lenoir has been a lead option in the secondary and enters Week 8 with 26 tackles (19 solo) and two pass deflections.

Darius Cooper Oct 26 11:10am CT
Darius Cooper

Philadelphia Eagles rookie wide receiver Darius Cooper (shoulder) is active for Sunday's contest against the New York Giants. Cooper has been sidelined since suffering this shoulder injury in Week 3 during their contest against the Rams. The undrafted rookie out of Tarleton State has yet to catch a pass in his debut campaign, but could be in store for a larger role this afternoon with top wide receiver A.J. Brown (hamstring) inactive. During the first three games, Cooper logged just 20 total snaps, with the majority of them coming in Week 2. He should not be targeted in any DFS competitions this afternoon, given his minimal role in the offense.

Zach Harrison Oct 26 11:10am CT
Zach Harrison

Atlanta Falcons defensive back Jordan Fuller (knee) is active, and defensive lineman Zac Harrison (knee) is inactive for their contest against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday afternoon. Fuller has been on the shelf since suffering this knee injury during their opening contest against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In 2024, Fuller tallied 54 tackles (28 solo) with one forced fumble as a Carolina Panther. Harrison sustained this injury during their loss to the 49ers last weekend and will miss his first game of the campaign. With Harrison sidleined, managers should expect Leonard Floyd and Ta'Quon Graham to see more snaps on the defensive line.

Cairo Santos Oct 26 11:00am CT
Cairo Santos

Chicago Bears kicker Cairo Santos (thigh) is officially active for Sunday's contest against the Baltimore Ravens. Santos has been unable to suit up in each of the last two weeks due to this thigh injury. While he has been sidelined, Jake Moody took over kicking duties in the Windy City. During his first four games of the campaign, Santos went 6-for-7 on field goals while going a perfect 11-for-11 on extra points. Given his role in an emerging offense, Santos should be viewed as a strong K1 in all leagues facing the Ravens, who have allowed the third-most fantasy points to opposing kickers this season.

Efton Chism III Oct 26 11:00am CT
Efton Chism III

New England Patriots wide receiver Efton Chism III (coach's decision) is a healthy scratch for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Cleveland Browns. Chism was inactive for the first five games this season, but the rookie debuted in Week 6. He has logged offensive snaps in each of the last two contests. He has not yet been targeted in the passing game, but he does have seven kick returns. The 24-year-old undrafted free agent could remain a healthy scratch until another wide receiver suffers an injury.

Bryce Young Oct 26 11:00am CT
Bryce Young

Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young (ankle) is officially listed as inactive for Sunday's tilt against the Buffalo Bills. The former first overall pick suffered this ankle injury during their Week 7 victory over the Jets. Young was unable to practice all week and will set his sights on returning in Week 9 when the Panthers travel to Green Bay to face the Packers. With Young sitting out, veteran QB Andy Dalton is slated to operate as the team's QB1. Last season, Dalton eclipsed at least 20.0 PPR points in three of the four games he logged more than 40 offense snaps. Facing a tougher Bills defense that has allowed the sixth-most PPR points to opposing QBs, Dalton carries low-end QB2 upside.

Hunter Renfrow Oct 26 11:00am CT
Hunter Renfrow

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Hunter Renfrow is a healthy scratch for their Week 8 contest against the Buffalo Bills. Renfrow had a prominent role in the Carolina passing attack earlier in the campaign, but has seen his target share drop significantly. In Weeks 1 through 3, Renfrow saw 6.7 targets per game. However, in his last three games (Weeks 4 through 6), Renfrow has seen just 2.3 targets per game. This will now be Renfrow's second-straight game listed as a healthy scratch. With Renfrow sitting out, managers should expect much of the passing volume to go to rookie wideout Tetairoa McMillan, Xavier Legette, and Jalen Coker.

Graham Gano Oct 26 11:00am CT
Graham Gano

New York Giants kicker Graham Gano (groin) is active for Sunday's contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Giants activated their top kicker from the IR earlier this weekend, and he is officially set to make his return. Gano has been on the shelf since suffering this injury in their Week 3 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. During his first three games of the campaign, Gano went 6-for-6 while adding four extra points on five attempts. In 2024, Gano went 9-for-11 on attempts through 11 games and knocked in all 15 of his extra points. Given New York's emerging offense with Jaxson Dart under center, Gano carries sneaky streaming upside in deeper formats.

Brian Burns Oct 26 11:00am CT
Brian Burns

New York Giants linebacker Brian Burns (hip) is officially active for Sunday's contest against the Philadelphia Eagles. The star linebacker was unable to practice this week but progressed enough to suit up. Through seven games this season, Burns has totaled 34 tackles (23 solo) with nine sacks and four pass deflections. He has also forced one fumble. Managers should expect Burns to continue to operate as a full-time starter on the defensive line when they face the Eagles this afternoon.

Dalton Kincaid Oct 26 10:50am CT
Dalton Kincaid

Buffalo Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid (oblique) is officially active for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Carolina Panthers. He is returning from a one-game absence spanning two weeks thanks to Buffalo's bye. The extra week off gave Kincaid extra time to recover, and he's now suiting up for Week 8 despite being listed as questionable. The 26-year-old is having his best season yet in Year 3, catching 20 passes for 287 yards and a career-high three touchdowns while ranking as the overall TE12 in PPR leagues. He should be started with confidence against the Panthers, who have allowed the second-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends in 2025.

Tyler Allgeier Oct 26 10:50am CT
Tyler Allgeier

Atlanta Falcons running back Tyler Allgeier (hip) is officially active for Sunday's contest against the Miami Dolphins. The team's No. 2 running back practiced in a limited capacity all week but was able to progress enough to suit up. In Week 7, Allgeier had had a limited role, taking just four carries for a mere 16 yards. However, in Week 6, Allgeier took 10 carries for 32 yards and punched in his third rushing score of the campaign. Through six games, Allgeier has tallied 203 yards despite operating as the clear No. 2 option behind Bijan Robinson. Given that the Falcons will face a weak Miami defense that has allowed the fourth-most PPR points to opposing RBs this season, Allgeier carries sneaky FLEX upside in this matchup.

Michael Penix Jr. Oct 26 10:50am CT
Michael Penix Jr.

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. (knee) is officially inactive for Sunday's contest against the Miami Dolphins. Penix was unable to practice in full this week and will now miss his first game of the campaign. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status next week, leading up to their Week 9 matchup against the New England Patriots. After totaling 250 yards and a score in their Week 6 victory over the Bills, Penix took a step back last Sunday, tallying in their loss to the 49ers. As a result, veteran QB Kirk Cousins is set to make his first start of the season. Cousins is worth viewing as a mid-end QB2 facing a struggling Miami defense. However, his upside will be capped, as he will be without his top wideout, Drake London (hip).

Quinn Ewers Oct 26 10:50am CT
Quinn Ewers

Miami Dolphins quarterback Zach Wilson is active for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the Atlanta Falcons. Wilson had been a healthy scratch for the first time last week, but his absence was short-lived as he returns to the backup role just one week later. While the former No. 3 pick will start the game on the bench, there's a chance that Wilson could see some playing time if Tua Tagovailoa continues to struggle and is benched again. Last week, the starter threw three interceptions against the Browns, and now, he has an even tougher matchup against the Falcons. When Tagovailoa was benched last week, he was replaced by Quinn Ewers, who made his NFL debut along the way. Ewers completed five of eight passes for 53 yards, but he has been demoted. back to the inactives list in Week 8. The Texas product is a healthy scratch, serving as the emergency third quarterback.

D'Andre Swift Oct 26 10:50am CT
D'Andre Swift

Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift (groin) is officially active for Sunday's contest against the Baltimore Ravens. The lead running back carried a questionable tag into this game with a groin injury. However, he was able to progress enough to suit up. Swift followed a similar practice pattern last weekend as well and enjoyed a dominant showing against the Saints, totaling a season-best 124 yards and a score on 19 attempts. Fantasy managers should view Swift as a solid RB2 with upside in all formats, facing a Baltimore defense that has allowed the second-most PPR points to opposing RBs this season.

Shedeur Sanders Oct 26 10:40am CT
Shedeur Sanders

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders (back) is officially inactive for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the New England Patriots. He had been listed as questionable after his back tightened up following practice on Friday. Sanders tested his injury pregame, and it was ultimately determined that the rookie wouldn't be able to suit up. Former Patriots quarterback Bailey Zappe will be active against his old team, serving as Dillon Gabriel's backup.

Drake London Oct 26 10:40am CT
Drake London

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London (hip) is inactive for Sunday's contest against the Miami Dolphins due to a hip injury. London was able to practice in full on Wednesday and Thursday, but was downgraded to limited participation on Friday. On Saturday, the team officially listed him as questionable, but he was unable to progress enough to suit up. Managers should monitor his status leading up to their next game against the New England Patriots in Week 9. With London sitting out, managers should expect Darnell Mooney and Kyle Pitts Sr. to see the majority of the targets in the passing game. Quarterback Kirk Cousins will also see his upside limited without his top pass catcher this afternoon. Mooney projects to carry high-end WR3 upside operating as the clear WR1 in this offense.

David Njoku Oct 26 10:40am CT
David Njoku

Cleveland Browns tight end David Njoku (knee) is officially active for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the New England Patriots. He was listed as questionable after being a limited participant in practice. The 29-year-old is returning from a one-game absence and should step back into the No. 1 tight end role on Sunday. Through six games this year, he has 23 catches, 223 yards, and one touchdown, ranking as the overall TE20 in PPR leagues. Njoku has 15 targets, nine catches, 95 yards, and a touchdown through two games with Dillon Gabriel, so perhaps he'll find success as a high-end TE2 this week. It helps that he's playing the Patriots, who have allowed the 12th-most fantasy points and eighth-most receptions to opposing tight ends in 2025.

Trey Hendrickson Oct 26 10:40am CT
Trey Hendrickson

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson (hip) is officially active for Sunday's Week 8 contest against the New York Jets. The 30-year-old is healthy again and will return to the defensive mix following a one-game absence. So far, he has played in six games, registering 15 tackles and four sacks. Widely regarded as one of the best defensive players in the league, Hendrickson should offer an immediate boost to Cincinnati's defense in his return.
